I went with my toddler and the lady in the front was super sweet and helpful. The customer service is excellent. Quesadillas and the Apple Cinnamon Pancake was super delicious

The southwest vegan hash is such a great menu option so that all family members have something to enjoy. Sadly, this is the only location Ive visited that didnt offer any non-dairy milk for coffee/tea, so we didnt get to have coffee with our breakfast. Otherwise, it was a great visit. The breakfast was great but could be better. Service was a bit slow and not value for money. In this age of inflation, everything is expensive. However, everyone expects more.

Weve been to this place may times for breakfast. There is a different feel this time as compared to before 2020.

Went to this location today for Brunch with my family and my parents. It was very busy which was to be expected, it was Boxing Day. The order was as follows: 1 - Mediterranean omelette. 2 - Sunset Supers. 1 - French toast 3 - Hamburgers. When I ordered my burger I requested well done home fries, the waitress acknowledged my request at this time. About 20-30 minutes pass and we re informed that the burgers are 10 minutes from done but all the egg dishes are ready, so the eggs could sit for 10 mins or they could serve them first. It would have been nice if all the food was prepared at the same time. The guests at my table who ordered eggs now had their food, however the children at table were still waiting for their burgers, as well as myself. After the waitress came by for a second time to apologize for their delays she advised that they may not be able to make well done home fires. I requested again that they be cooked well done she seemed extremely annoyed at this point but nodded and left the table side. As the waitress delivered our burgers, after the rest of my table was almost done their meals, she said that s as well done as they re going to get! . At this point, disgusted how I was spoken to in front of my family, I simply refused the meal, and requested it be removed from the bill. Now this is where the story gets good! It comes time to pay the bill, I approach the cash and I m met by whom I can only assume is the manager. She hands me my bill, I see the banquet burger ask for it to be removed. She bitterly demanded an explanation why I didn t eat it after it was prepared for me. I watched the waitress tell her what happened, she knew there was an issue, one can only assume it was left on the bill out of spite. I pointed to the hot banquet burger that was beside her on top of the cold raw chopped vegetables inserts for the kitchen line. I let her now I didn t even touch the food and would like it removed. She begrudgingly removed the burger from the bill after questioning and berating me for a moment. Needless to say there is another Sunset Grill about 5kms from this location GO THERE ! I myself will never be back, my family and I will stick to other guys from now on.

Maybe a little overpriced but good. Worth it for a treat.

Actually ,i go there once a week and the Servers(Christina & Denise)usually know what i order by heart!(along with the Franks Hot Sause)..During the weekdays,Christina & Denise handle the whole place and still have time for some small talk and a smile!!!!

Good breakfast place. They do get crowded. Suggestion: please provide additional jam and honey along with some paper napkins without having to ask. It almost felt like being rationed. Not sure if it was like this before.

Just want to say that every time I come here, I have an amazing service. I highly recommend the avocado toast plate!!! It s super refreshing and an absolutely perfect meal right before the gym!!! And the coffee is spectacular! It s really got that homey taste, like you stopped by your grandmas house for a good ol cup of Joe! One of the servers there, Christina is wonderful! I see her running around the restaurant at the speed of light all with a smile! She has an amazing attention to detail, great hospitality and She is one of the greatest reasons why I keep coming back to this location! It feels like home here! Keep up the amazing work!

Unfortunately we walked out after waiting for a very long time for a server to even take a coffee order. This is the second time this has happened at this location. Several servers just chatting at the front while patrons wait. We won t return to this location.

The staff is really nice and very prompt. The food quality varies. Sometimes its very good and then other times its not so good. The cook is rushing to fill the orders, so at times the eggs are over cooked at high heat making them leathery. The potatoes are usually very good, but again sometimes burnt.

Dont even think its a real restaurant! Looks like one, has menus and tables but Im sure it is staffed with actors. We sat for 90 minutes after ordering, no food came and no one had a reason. Unsure if its some kind of hidden camera game show or its some kind of laundering operation. If you want to eat something go to Troys or Tims or literally any other place. Youre more likely to be fed at the hair styling place next door.

Sunset Grill is our families favorite breakgast restaurant!. We definatly always have the best experience when eating at the Maple Avenue location. Not only do we always get exactly what we ordered, we always get it in good time! Right from the time we walk through the doors, we are greeted and treated very professionally. Our service is always excellent. We always make sure to dine when our favorite server is scheduled in. Lindsey is hands down the most professional server I have come across in a long time. She is always smiling, she is so very polite. She makes it a point to interact with everyone at the table including our children. If ever we are in need some something she is always egar to make sure we are taken care of. It always helps that Lindsey is always very knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients, and makes its very easy to ask questions and get a direct answer!! I have worked in hospitality for many years, it is not an easy job. I truly hope that everytime my family walks through your doors Lindsey is still there to make our experience that much better!! We absolutely will keep coming back. Keep up the great work Sunet!

Been eating here since COVID19 shut my usual breakfast place down. The staff have been amazing, especially Lindsay (who is the type of server who knows to put my order in once she sees my truck coming). Highly recommend.

Good food, good price, great service. As a regular I enjoy the friendly environment. My favourite server Lindsay always has my decaf on the ready.

Standard sunset grill, great service and great food. Toast was perfect, eggs were a tad overdone and potatoes a tad underdone but that s to be expected at almost every sunset grill lol. Sausages were cooked perfectly, as was the bacon which is frankly the only thing I care about when hitting up sunset.

Good spot for breakfast. Service was delayed perhaps cause we were there during the busiest time on Sunday. Our table host was good felt that she was trying to run away as we might ask for something. Food was good though.

Worst kind of service one can expect. We waited 20 mins before a server came to ask us if we wanted any drinks. After we odered drinks she again vanished for 15 min after which we left. The table that was given was not cleaned. The floor was filthy seemed like they hadly have time to clean the place. It was bad management all together. They had quite a few servers but it seemed everyone was just too busy to help their customer. So decide to leave and take my family to the one at Derry heights. I would recommend They had 3 servers along with the Manager on the floor. Super fast service and a pleasant staff. Neat and clean. Even one of their kitchen staff was there to greet and help customers. Never again to this location at Mapleview. What a disappointment.

I went to get breakfast with my father and little brother, and we were seated immediately. However, once we were seated it took the waitress 15 minutes to come and take our order, ONLY for drinks. We waited another 15 minutes and no one came to take our order for food, and our drinks were not given to us, so we left. Found much better service at the sunset grill on Derry. The staff was much nicer.

Just wanted to say thank you for turning away my family of 5 today at around 12:30PM, when you clearly had tables available that could have been set in a way that could accommodate us, and still keep whatever Covid-19 safety distancing measures you had in place. Also, when we asked how long the wait would be, we were told no idea, and were just let go. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to go else where, and therefore being able to support a small and awesome family-owned business in Milton.

Stopped in at this location on April 18th. It wasn t too busy for a Saturday morning. The person at the front desk was an aspiring cook and was very very good. Great customer service skills and very courteous. The food was great. Nice size portions and freshly prepared. He thanked us for our support in a very professional manner and really made the whole experience enjoyable during this time of crisis. If I were in the restaurant business I would have attempted to recruit him. Your organization is lucky to have someone like Him. Great service and great food. Thank you.

Great customer service and all safety procedures in place. The have paper menus, wipe down all tables and chairs after each customer and take all customers temp and info before seating. Food was excellent as always. It was great to get out and have a breakfast out at a restaurant again

The food was OK, nothing special that I couldnt make at home for a fraction of the price. My big problem with my latest visit was the wait staff. Everyone around me was asked if they would like a refill on their coffee, but not me. I felt as though they were trying to rush me out the door. Could it be because I have long hair, tattoos and was wearing an orange T-shirt that says inmate on the back? I believe that they failed to notice is that the coat I was wearing costs more than they make in a week possibly two. These ladies shouldnt judge a person based on their appearance and should count themselves lucky they got a tip at all. Wanted pancakes for a last meal before fasting. Showed up at 730am and theyre closed. Hours on the door and on line said open at 7 am.

The omelets this time around were kind of tasteless and the server looked so stressed up and unhappy. Coffee as always was the only saving grace.
