They changed owners.. now its poor service ignorant when i asked for lemon chicken lady was very rude waved her hands said no.. no more lemon chicken we have sweet and sour. I said good bye. Twice I went and I did get my lemon chicken 2 times but that lady was nice she smiled the 3rd time I went this was rude.

The chef has definitely changed. Chilli chicken pieces were hard n the spices and flavours have really deriorated . I hope they fix it soon I come all the way from burlington . Last two times have been pretty disappointed .

REVIEW UPDATE - So unfortunately I have to change my review, the food quality of the establishment has really gone down. Not sure what has happened the food used to be so delicious here & now simply just does not taste the same at all. Very disappointed:( this used to be one of my favourite places Old review - Big portions, fresh and delicious!! First time trying this place yesterday and ordered it again today, the crab cream cheese dumplings are mouth watering!!

Their dumplings and crab cheese dumplings really surprised me, and the soup was also very delicious. They are very warm and friendly. great experience

UPDATE: They called back 20 min later (after I posted the review and picture of the food in the garbage). They apologized and told me of the procedure to request an Ubereats refund or would give me a free order next time. I do appreciate that and wish them well with future customers. I know restaurant employees work hard and mistakes can be made. ORIGINAL: I had an Ubereats takeout order of vegetable fried rice. I specified no egg, and also added vegan please. It came with egg pieces and a strong flavour of egg. I complained and even sent a picture upon their request (they do not believe their customers apparently). They asked me to bring it back and I explained that I am temporarily disabled. Despite all of this, they did not offer a refund, only denials. I never ever complain at restaurants, because I know they work hard, but this was a terrible experience. I hope they do better with other customers. I threw it in the garbage and took a picture (attached).

I dont know what kind of crack cocaine is in their dumplings but they should be ILLEGAL! They are SO GOOD! I had them for the first time last week and i couldnt stop thinking about them! I got two orders to my face this time and told hubby he needs his own order. They really have earned their name. Also amazing service. They are so polite and kind and helpful. I am definitly returning here on a weekly basis! Oh yeah their other food is great too!

Best Chinese in Milton and best Chinese I have eaten. I have had Chinese from many different places (outside of Milton) and this is still my favourite. Consistent quality and order has always been accurate. Staff is friendly. Definately recommend.

General Tao Chicken was not good. Little peices of chicken covered with too much batter. Batter was also tough. Tasted like day old chicken.

Gone downhill. This place used to be great, but the last two times we have ordered, its just been mostly vegetables and watery sauce. Probably 2-3 pieces of meat in an entire serving: not what youd expect for the prices.

Highly recommend! I preordered several party trays. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, meat and vegetables.Everyone loved it at the party and asked where it was from. Service also fantastic. They didn t over sell me food for number of guests. They called an hour before pickup up to see if we were on schedule to pick up to be sure the food was hot and fresh for the guests and not sitting around. (My choice for pick up)They were also extremely appreciative of the business and it showed with the delicious food and great customer service!! Not a great experience. Service is fine for fast food but the food is awful. In the Cantonese chow mein there were four pieces of the protein in a container that should feed two. There was tons of undercooked broccoli and noodles with watery sauce and then to top it off a hair .just awful.

First time visiting this restaurant. I m new to the area and Was really craving good Chinese food. After googling I came across this place and decided based on reviews, to give them a try. Horrible horrible food. I couldn t even swallow the food it was so bad. I ordered the chicken balls with rice. 2 spring rolls. Wonton soup. The spring rolls were soo greasy. Only edible item was the soup. Maybe it was a bad day for the cook . Very disappointed to say the least.

I had the soup dumplings and to be honest, they were much better than Mothers Dumpling in Toronto! The staff were friendly and gave us extras, so I definitely want to go again! When it comes to boiled dumplings, the chicken was the most delicious

Have had their chicken fried rice 3 times and its not to my or my husbands liking. We dont understand why the rice has to be browned (soy sauce?), peppered, too salty and dry...taste over done/burnt. Ive gotten sick twice off of this.

I got an order of chicken wings and a single serving of grean pea fried rice/ chicken chop suey/ 2 spring rolls. The food was bland, had a strange after taste and was WAY over priced. Dont waste your time or money here. Yuck!

My go-to every Friday. The menu is huge. So pre-select before you go. I have always found this place busy so 10-15min wait time is normal to order and take out. Love their pad thai, crab and cheese wontons and shrimp cantonese noodles.

Never sure how to rate fast food. The place was clean and staff were polite and efficient. Order ready in 15 minutes. Food was good for fast food where I have lower expectations. I really enjoyed the dumplings and the General Tsao chicken. I cannot recommend the fried rice or udon noodles.

I live outside of Halton but every time I am in town I make a stop here!!! The food is fresh and never short of a amazing! Definitely would recommend to try!!

Food was delicious and freshly made to order. I ordered the chicken and shrimp pad Thai and fried chicken wings, overall pretty good but wished there was more protein in the Pad Thai, only found 2 shrimps in the dish. Will definitely order again and try other things. Overall, tasty authentic Asian food and a new favourite spot to add to my list.

Chicken Pakoras eh!

Very busy. Normally when phoning an order in it is ready for pick-up 10 minutes or less. When I phoned I was advised it would be 30 minutes. I got there right at 30 minutes and ended up waiting another 40 minutes. Very disorganized. Customers standing all over the place. No signage to instruct where to pay or pickup. Didnt know who had ordered, who had paid, etc. Normally great for pickup but not tonight.

Food is bland, this place extorts teenagers making them work in by far the most mentally draining work environment I ve ever come across. Do yourself a favor and go to Royal Garden instead.

$12.75 for all this, service was quick and food is decent for the price! Ordered on the phone and food was ready when I arrived. Cashier was polite and swift. i ordered sesame chicken with fried rice.

Fast, Lots of Rice, an order of Vegetables is almost all Broccoli which is ok if you love Broccoli. Otherwise not bad value for a quick meal.

Got the take out after seeing such great reviews. Normally Chinese food is not well known for their nutrition quotient but it sure is tasty and I used to think that its actually very difficult to prepare a bad Chinese dish. Oh boy, this place proved me sooo wrong. We ordered full packs each of Szechuan chicken and Kung pao chicken. Both were nothing like the dishes we have tasted till date. Szechuan chicken had like 5-6 chicken pieces, more like undercooked and random veggies in a sickeningly sweet gravy. Kung pao was even more disappointing. A 10 yr old would probably cook better than that. Never going back!

Order food on Thursday of this week. My family experience diearia from the food. I dont know what happened here.I have contact Halton Health department to check food hygiene and Sanitation of this restaurant. Wasnt a very good experience.

This is what they call chicken in garlic sauce.

This past experience was not so good.. the portions seem smaller, less chicken balls, less chicken in general tso chicken but filled with broccoli.. and the noodles were very dry and tough. Also last time I ordered this it was $32 but today was $42. Ethnics has better food for much much less.

Very good selection if you were looking for quick and easy Chinese takeout that is not too authentic but will hit the spot. I would compare it to panda Express in the US. We were pleasantly surprised because I honestly thought this place only had dumplings but their menu is actually quite extensive and includes other dishes such as rice noodles and other traditional Americanized Chinese food such as kung pao chicken. I recommend trying it at least once for yourself and making your own decision. But I really like the sauces that came with the dumplings and really like the chili chicken.

Food tastes pretty good. We ve been here a few times and every time the wait seems a bit unreasonable especially if you re a walk-in.

I don t understand some of these bad reviews. People expect a mountain of food for little price. Or the special they expect a full entre... like you do realize the owners have to pay for overhead, labour, supplies, raw food, etc. And then have some left over to live off. Or some people complain about waiting a little longer during busy times. Thats common sense you may have to wait a little longer because there are so many orders and only so many people working. They re not sleeping in the back, they still have to do things properly to make sure quality is there. They re not robots. The food is great and prices are great!

its one of the better fast food places Ive been to. Remember its fast food tailored to North American taste buds, not a sit-down restaurant with professional chefs in the back preparing a special authentic dish just for you (some people seem to think that everything here should be on par with real, formal Asian cuisine) The portions are huge. Ive sometimes had both a lunch, a supper and a snack out of a single take-out box. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion size. Despite the name of the place, not a huge selection of dumplings. Always clean and while the staff has some trouble communicating and English occasionally, they aim to please and are truly nice people.

When I dont want to cook or if I have a lot of people to feed, this is the place to go! Quantities are unbelievable. The dinner for 2 is really for 4 or 5 people. The food is very tasty and the variety of things to order is quite good. Also, they are fast! Especially if you order for pickup.

This was our first time ordering takeout, we ordered a few items, their chicken dumplings, chicken noodles, shrimp with mixed vegetables. We were extremely pleased! The food was well prepared and tasty, definitely reasonably priced as well.

Just moved to Milton and decided to check it out. Went for one of their lunch specials, in short disappointed. First of all I found the price of 9 dollars and change for a lunch special to be pretty steep, but hey I could be getting a mountain of food?? Wrong... but well get to that later. The second disappointing thing, or more of a stupid thing, when using debit I was FORCED to pay for a tip. Thats right, the terminal did not ask IF I wanted a tip but rather asked for either a $ amount or a % amount. There was no way to decline a tip. I reluctantly put 1%. I got my food and took it home. Opening the bag I was surprised to see an egg roll about half the size of a normal egg roll and a main dish, black pepper beef in this case, which looked like it might feed a 10 year-old. I opened it up and found a very disappointing amount of beef, the amount actually seemed like the beef was an after-thought. There was nothing special nor authentic about the dish. Typical canned sauce and box noodles. Worst of all was paying 9 bucks for a tiny meal. Poor first impression but glad it only cost me 9 bucks instead of buying a full family dinner only to find out it sucks. Sorry Mr Dumpling, not coming back until you offer your customers a fair size meal for the price and stop forcing customers to pay a tip.

Preordered food for new years eve for a 6pm pickup. Got there and had to wait 20 minutes. Then our food was cold and undercooked. The staff argued with me over the phone while I requested a refund. The last thing anyone needs on new years eve (let alone an 8 month pregnant woman) is food poisoning. We will never be going back there.

Ordered 24 hours in advance. Went to pick it up was told there was a half hour delay. Then another half hour delay then ANOTHER half hour delay. Food was good. Customer service is lacking.

Okay so its your 1970s San Francisco kind of chinese food - chicken balls, chop Suey, you know - Archie Bunkers idea of a chinese meal? But they do it well. I crave this stuff once in a while and I dont want roasted suckling pigs, dim sum and other assorted animals hanging upsidedown on a coat wire a la Spadina Avenue that you would find in a more authentic Chinese restaurant. Staff are very friendly and greet you cheerfully every visit and the hot and sour soup is to die for on a chilly day. Portions are huge but I have to deduct one star for peccadillos such as never including hot sauce or soya sauces (theyre available at the side counter cept it would be nice to be reminded when picking up our orders), the occasional forgetting to add spring or egg rolls were entitled to as part of the meal as well as the infrequent missing hot and sour soup (or two) when you are placing larger orders. Then again, half the fun of ordering from a chinese restaurant is figuring out what youre missing! Theyre fast too - they can cook up a dinner for four in less than ten minutes. I never wait long. A little more attention to detail would be perfect. And I wasnt working that day is no way to resolve smallish problems with your last order.

Menu is a bit confusing but they have a wide variety of Asian food on the menu. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Enjoyed the vegetables with steamed rice.

The worst Chinese food Ive had the displeasure of eating. The chili chicken is like chicken balls but smaller, and the sauce is sweet and sour sauce with 2 chilis. They messed up combo orders and mismatched the sides which is just employees not paying attention. I attempted to call them to let them know the error and couldnt understand English well enough to even understand how they mixed up my order. Wanted me to drive back with all the food to show them what they did wrong. Will never eat here again.

Good chilly chicken

I ordered for pickup. I was told about 30 min. I got there on time, picked up my order, drove home. Wrong dishes in the bag but correct receipt and my name on it. I called and complained and told them that for my wasted time I expected some consideration when I returned to pick up my correct order. After I explained what some consideration meant (she did not understand the phrase or meaning) she went off the deep end on the phone. Ok, maybe its the phone? maybe the phrase? maybe just having a bad day? I told her Id drive back to the store to pick up the correct order and we could discuss in person. When I got there I ask if my order was ready, same person at the counter that Id spoken with, she told me it wasnt and I could have my money back. No customer service. No inkling of the meaning of customer service. After thinking about the whole set of events, I chalked it up to lack of English skills - oh well. Never been back, never would recommend. Lots of places are happy to take and keep my money and are willing to admit to their mistakes - not this place...!

Did I really order szechwan udon? Because it felt like I was eating a can of alphagetti. It was so disgustingly tomatoey... That was the least Chinese Chinese food Ive ever had, and I have eaten from some pretty questionably Chinese restaurants. I have ordered from them before (almost a year ago) and it was good. I had no issues at all, however this time was very different. Firstly, I was told my order would be here in 45mins and in 45mins my phone rang and the guy asks me how I am paying!? what!!? so for the SECOND time I had to give him my CC# then he tells me my food will be here in 5-10mins.....20mins later, nothing! called back and he says please wait 2-5mins again 10mins later the guy finally shows up and AGAIN we have to give our credit card # for the THIRD time! REALLY? (I will certainly be checking my statement..) On top of all that hassle the appetizers where okay, but the Pad Thai was terrible! It smelled different and was dry and just not like it used to be. My husbands dish was also not like it once was. Not sure what is going on there, but that was the last time we every order from there. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you want to deal with pure incompetence!
