Service was great, food was tasty and reasonably priced. Would come back for sure- it s not the best sushi out there but the kids loved it.

I have been here a handful of times and everytime Edo never fails to impress!! The food comes out hot and quickly and tastes delicious. The staff is friendly and super helpful and the inside is kept really clean. Highly suggest to anyone looking for a delicious meal!

Food is good . Only complaint I have is why so little portion in the meat ? I always have to add double meat which gets expensive.

The people that work here are not at all professional and does not care about other people at all. They just talk and have a laugh while everyone is waiting around. Specially the girl in the front, she is very irresponsible. People cant give a wait time and over that are rude and ignorant. The girl ellie doesnt know anything and just asks people to babysit her and runs around laughing doing nothing.

The food is a great bang for the buc, more importantly the service is top notch.

They have great service, the serving time is really good, I ordered a Shrimp Ramen soup and it was very delicious, the size was enough and the taste was amazing. This is a Japanese style fast food restaurant, but the waiters care about you and make you feel like you are really important.

The young lady taking our order was very friendly with a happy smile. The food is very good too. All around, a good experience. Even the gentleman who prepared our bag for takeout was very helpful.

Food was tasty but very small portions for the price. Will probably not be coming back unless portions improve. Also, there are no raw fish options with the sushi.

Loved seeing the arrival of Edo Japan to Milton. The photos of their offerings looked quite enticing. Although the bento boxes are westernized versions with a truckload of rice and a lot less of anything else, we wanted to try it. We were surprised how sweet the westernized teriyaki and sukiyaki sauces were, to the point that it didn t enhance the meat it just overpowered them. It just left you thinking how these generously applied sauces could be so wrong and be so displeasurable to eat. It was clear by contrast the Japanese style sauces must have half the amount of sweeteners in them. The spring roll and the gyoza were cooked well, but were deep fried in plain oil. They had little taste and seemed to contain a lot of filler like cabbage. The first flavour note in the spring roll was sulphur and then just flatly bland. Looking up the ingredients later, it was clear why cabbage and textured soy flour were the main ingredients. The only vegetable that was discernible was carrot which doesn t carry a lot of taste fried, just some colour and texture. Where s the spring onions, bell peppers, bean sprouts, and/or mushrooms for flavour? I d rather source out westernized spring rolls from Costco, at a fraction of the cost, with much more flavour thanks to the vegetable blend of Jicama (Yam Bean), Edamame (Soybean), Carrot, Cabbage (not the first ingredient!), Sweet Potato, Wheat and Soybean Protein (not the second ingredient!), Bamboo Shoot, Onion, and Leek. The meals were classified as specials and still came to $20 per person. We were hoping to find authentic Japanese flavours with all of the branding but found little, sadly. I don t think this would fly overseas.

Food was tasteless, the beef in one of our meals tasted clearly like it was old and starting to rot, the sushi came with no condiments, the portions were more like snack sizes, and one diah that was supposed have both chicken and beef only had the beef. First and last time getting food from this place. I give zero stars.

The food was great but the service was horrible The person taking your order should not be the same person that is putting the food in the bag because the food is just sitting there getting cold and no one apologized for it

Service was good and staff are friendly. Food is the McDonald s version of Japanese cuisine. The food wasn t bad per se but you can barely call it Japanese cuisine. It s the equivalent of Empire Wok for Chinese cuisine.

They dont answer phones to order. Went in and ordered sushi. Was not fresh.... Would recommend to skip the wait and just go to the grocery store. Same price not any better quality.

First time trying Edo and I was impressed. Service was great with very enthusiastic employees and very clean environment. The food was exceptionally good!! We ordered sukiyaki beef bento and best one I ve ever had.

Terribly slow service. We ordered just a few bubble teas in store and it took over 25 minutes to make. They served many other customers first who ordered after us. After the long wait, they also ran out of tapioca which increased the wait time. Very disappointing place.

Everything there was awesome 1000% taste there brown sugar milk tea with dynamite bento its so good!! Everyone is so kind and accommodating even though they get a lot of customers at once! 100% will come back again!!

As soon as I entered the establishment, I was welcomed with a really bright smile. The customer service is incredible, youll never find better staff. The food as well, you can tell that the people who prepared it really care about the quality. Id highly recommend eating here, you wont be disappointed :D

dont usually leave reviews, but we went to this place for the first time. the food/meat tasted terrible, and literally looked like dog food. cost 40$ and was a complete waste of money. could have been a one-off but have been sick from the food for about a week now. never going back there again. ladies at the front were nice however.

Went in at 8:50 pm was told they have turned the grills off for cleaning and told they only have sushi. I drove 15 mins to hear that. If they want to close early then please change the mentioned closing time.

I was there opening day Wednesday May 29th 2024 and they were offering free meals,it was packed obviously , and the food was amazing ,I had the beef on rice and they gave me 2 orders,love this place great atmosphere its were the old Starbucks was at same store totaly new renovation. On Grand opening day we enjoyed Chicken Teriyaki and Sukiyaki beef - both were delicious. Definitely will be coming back for more!

I stopped by edo Japan Milton out of the blue as I saw there was a promotion and I must say they did not disappoint. The food was fresh, hot and perfectly seasoned. The service was quick and it was a very enjoyable experience. Myself and my family all had meals and it did not disappoint anyone in my house including my picky ester kid. We will for sure be back!

Went to visit the restaurant on the opening day but accdg. to one of their employee they are just entertaining costumers with coupon but found out that they are also entertaining costumers without coupons. On the first day of opening they are already treating costumers unfairly.

Was sent away as soon as I walked in at 7:30PM. Apparently, theyre Now Open, but only serving customers with coupons. Couldnt see anything concerning coupons on their website, or on the building. Guess they were only open for certain people. Was told I can come back tomorrow. Ill stick with Royal Garden.

Portions are good and all ingredients are freshly cooked. Service is quick which great for those on the go. I like how they give customers option for amount of sauce - one or two scoops. EDO Japan is definitely an easy choice multiple times a week for lunch or dinner!

Great decor and food was good. However, they did not get the order right and took too long. Did not compensate by discounting or any other way even though they got it wrong. Won t come back again.

Very bad services. Very expensive. Auto charge tips and not allowing to choose your amount. Very Salty food. Ordered 2 meals only for 2 we only got 1... And they act like they dont understand and no apologies..... Do not recommend this at all

Stayed at restaurant for 30 min only to find out there were still 14 orders ahead of me?! This is supposed to be fast food/service restaurant so this speed is really unacceptable. I don t know how their system runs but it seemed that walk-in orders were shoved to the end of the line and online orders got prioritized?? Completely confused and disappointed by their system of managing flow of customers in store. You walk inside immediately into a wall of people in the limited standing space and there s no way to tell where the line is. I saw with my own eyes many customers like myself get fooled and not realize we re lining up nowhere at all cuz apparently majority of people are actually waiting for their food and blocking off the register - until it s 10 min in and realizing that there is no line at all because the people in front start walking off with their food. You have to keep talking to every other person to know if they re in line. What s more, when you find yourself to be the only person who hasn t ordered and go to the cashier, you get ignored for another few minutes. That s just ridiculous and very frustrating. I give one extra star as the attitude of workers and was okay at least.

Ordered via Uber Eats and the food was very sub par. I could have made it by cooking rice adding some frozen veg and a jar of teriyaki sauce. It wasn t far off from a frozen microwaveable meal most definitely would not eat here again.

Nicest staff ever , Felt so welcomed!! The cashier was super sweet helped us with ordering , i got the ramen and my friend got a bento box , ramen was superb! The udon noodles with teriyaki sauce was amazing as well. Staff took good care of us, truly hope this place gets more recognition.

The reason this particular location is not a 5 out of 5 is simply because of a trend I noticed at this place and a lot of other food places that are corporate in nature,I disagree with the fact that were in a multi cultural country and these restaurants hire only one ethnic background peoples,everyone in this place is Asian,in other places everyone is Indian,people apply and dont get hired,but instead only one ethnic peoples are hired. Well my stance is that I dont support any boycott any establishment that hires only one background peoples,its unfair so I vote with my wallet.

Ordered a party tray recently for pickup but noticed after getting home that it was short of 12 pieces. I ended up with another trip to the store to pick it up and still waited for about 10 mins at least, which was not really acceptable for the mistake they made. The food was okay but the overall service quality and speed are subpar.

Tried for the first time today. The place was slammed but I ordered ahead on the app and it was ready when I got there. Beef teriyaki was on point! Big portions!

I am so happy that EdoJapan came to Milton. I used to travel to Mississauga all the time now it s in my own town best teriyaki sizzling shrimp really good sushi. You gotta come and try it.

Food was delicious. The wait was ridiculous. The wait for ordering took over 16 minutes with only 5 customers ahead of me. Then the wait for food started took another 37 minutes to get my food. All in all simply getting the food in my hands took 57 minutes. I m being very precise here bc I was livid. My family was at home waiting for dinner losing their minds waiting for me. What I thought would be a quick stop ended up being close to a full sit down dinner event. I could ve made a stir fry at home in quicker time than I waited. I could have gone to metro to get the ingredients then go home to cook and it would be faster. It seemed like their priority was serving the Uber orders first as opposed to the large group of people waiting in the store. This all could ve been a bit better had they warned me your food will be an 45-1 hour wait, but no nothing. I would ve walked out the fn door. Yes it was a dinner rush but it seemed like a manageable but I didn t deserve that and my family didn t deserve that. Just a brutal disappointment. The food was tasty though.
