The service at this locations is beyond terrible. I was there today and you would think I should be grateful they open. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I WILL NEVER RETURN. The owners of this lication should be ashamed of themselves and their staff I literally left in tears

The taste was not quite how it was a few months ago.

I have been coming to this Opa location for a long time with my family. I always had good relationships with the employees. However recently they have been very slow and quite rude. I assume they hired new employees. I came to Opa sometime last week and the person who took my order was very rude. I wont be coming in anymore and wouldn t recommend to others.

Just bought a meal from these guys 2 grown adult men working Not 1 single other order in store They rush to pack my order no bag no utensils no customer service I ask for utensils they say in the corner I go and there s no forks - I ask them and they look around and find none No problem - I go home to eat and after opening my meal I see the dip tzatziki is almost 70% empty. That means they serve a meal with a dipping cup that is only 30% full Called the store and they brush it off and said it s not a big deal

I orderd a gyro platter.the food was very good, The employes were very friendly, they help me with my order, quantity was amaging, overall good experience

I went in at 12 :15 order placed 12:18 I looked at the time its close to 12:40 my order was not yet started. Students that came in after me were getting served before me . I asked the staff hey was wondering why stufesnt that came in after me are getting their orders. She knew very well thats exactly what they were doing. All she said was sorry about that. Sorry I now have to sign my child out of school? So he can eat his lunch ? Ridiculous

Hi there, On Sunday April 28th, my sister and I came in to grab some opa fries as we usually did when we were in highschool. When we used to get the opa fries in highschool we would first of all have the container filled properly with fries and second of all we would ask for extra sauce all the time FREE OF CHARGE. However, when we ordered on Sunday the guy made us pay extra when we asked for one more sauce and in addition when we got the container with the French fries it was literally half empty (there was so much space that should hav been filled with fires). Additionally, there was barely any seasoning on the fries. I was very very disappointed and will not be wasting my money on $7 fries that had the smallest proportions. The only reason I gave a 2 star is because the fries were crunchy and the sauce was good. I don t know what has happened over the years but when I used to get fries a couple years ago, it was seasoned amazingly and they would fill the container properly (and they never charged extra for extra sauce). You would need two separate orders of fries to receive the quantity of what used to be one!

Been coming here since I was little and food quality has gone down a lot but I m here to talk about my experience the man who took my order was a little rude and asked for my salad on the side because I will be taking it home and wanted to be able to warm up my food without the salad in the same container, the man that took my order said he could do it, but I will be getting a very small portion of salad, which didn t really make sense to me but OK, while being there, I observed everybody else s accommodations, for their order was met, when it was time for me to receive my order he just gave it to me in the box no bag but for some reason everybody else got a plastic bag without the request so I why was I treated so differently. last thing is the portions are not worth $16 I got a little corner of rice and a little corner of salad extremely disappointed not in the food, but on how I was treated as someone in the food business I would never treat my customers differently no matter what every paying customer deserves the same

This place was busy with school students but they were quick to serve... the food was tasteless and bland... within 30 minutes of eating it my buddy and i were both sick to our stomach. Not sure if the chicken was undercooked or what went wrong but unfortunately wont be returning to this spot ever.

When its 815pm and your sign clearly states 9pm close you shouldnt be telling customers sorry were closed. The holiday hours start tomorrow. This was supposed to be my families Xmas dinner, we always get Greek food. Thanks alot for ruining that. Highly DO NOT recommend.

I ve always had a great experience at OPA! Their fries with tzatziki is one of my go-to items and is always absolutely delicious, but I also enjoy their salad & souflaki pitas. Recently we tried the spanakopitas and baklava which I d suggest to anyone! The service is always extremely kind, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommend!

I had an issue regarding a previous order which unfortunately left me extremely disappointed. However, Nils, the owner, reached out and went above and beyond to rectify this issue which was extremely appreciated. He remade my order (which was wonderful) and gave me a refund. Shoutout to him!

Absolutely the worst food ever!!! Not one hint of greek in this! Potatoes were rock hard, the salad consisted of 3 peices of lettuce and 30 peices of tomatoes!! I do not recommend this place

I dont know what happened to this place, it went from 5 to 1 in no time. The food is horrible, dry, tasteless. I WONT EVER again buy food from this place.

Ordered two Gyro meals. Gyros were so burnt, black and crunchy! Couldnt believe my eyes! Rice was awful as if they forgot recipe. Was a take-out meal so didnt notice until I got home. Place was empty. Not busy. Never again.

Great food and service, excellent quality

Pork skewer uncooked on the inside. Usually quite satisfied with ordering from here but we just picked up an order and when we got home, we noticed it was still pink inside. So we had to cook it here. What s the point of getting take out and then still cooking it at home? I am also not going to drive back to get them to cook it again. And not to mention, I almost fed that to my child who could have been really sick from uncooked pork.

Food was alright. Potatoes wasn t cooked throughly. Portion of meat was alright. Will have to dine in next time. Service by staff was poor also

Ordered from OPA! using SkipTheDishes. Im doing a low carb diet so I figured Id give their chicken salad a try. I ordered the chicken Greek salad + extra chicken. Portion size is reasonable. Chicken pieces are kind of small. I asked for no peppers in the salad and it came with a few peppers. I also thought the chicken was ok, basic souvlaki flavors - not the best Ive ever had. Tzatziki sauce was ok too, it was really watery, not very thick. The cost came out to $19.74 (17.47+tax, also this does not include delivery fee). I dont know if its worth the price, I would rather go to Koozina.

Apparently the staff at this location cannot read instructions. So, why bother having the option? The gyro is incredibly dry. Luckily though, that was mitigated by the ONE potato added to my meal, on a bed of tasteless rice. Having said the, the blanket of pita over my dressing drenched salad was just what the doctor ordered. MMM MMM Good. They really need to up their game. There are far too many options now, for them to be this lackadaisical

This place has really, really gone downhill since it opened. I ordered a calamari. It was soggy and cold. Seems like the staff dont really care about the business. Not clean at all in the cooking or dining areas. I will not be going back.

Asked for a Greek salad, I was given 3 pieces of lettuce with 100 tomatoes and green peppers. Maybe it s just me but I am used to lettuce in my Greek salads. My Meal tasted good but I won t be going back because of the service and my salad experience lol. The girl had attitude

Placed a mobile order that took them 30 minutes to prepare. Arrived at the restaurant at the 20 minute mark and watched them prepare walk-ins (after the time my order was placed) before mine. Get home and the protein I paid extra for is missing!

I like apps but this location is stingy. Ordered a gyro wrap and the gyro is minimal.. was more like a wrap with gyro topping instead of it being like a gyro wrap. Even asked for them to put more gyro as I saw it being made and they told me this is a good amount. Disappointing.

This is what I got in 2 of the the 3 boxes The Greek salad in them had 6 to 7 large pieces of tomatoes. 1 to 2 thin strings of red onions. 2 to 3 very small cuts from lettuce and 2 DNA samples of green peppers. I spent $48 bucks. Rest of the food had an average taste. Not going back there!

Used to love Opa. Now it s almost $14 a person w out a drink. Ordered a Greek salad. Barely a sprinkling of Feta cheese and dressing. Value has gone down a lot and prices way up!

Must be under new ownership, because Ive never had an experience like just now. I was standing in line for 5 minutes waiting to place my order with nobody in front of me. In that time I watched 3 out of 5 employees doing absolutely nothing while one was on the phone and the fifth prepared the food. I walked out without even ordering.

Unfortunately this is not even close to Authentic Greek food. The chicken is super dry, the rice has no flavour and overall the portions are ridiculously small. Very disappointed

Purchased a lamb platter this afternoon but very disappointed with the lamb skewer. It felt like it 5 days old ,burn and dry as if it was microwaved a few times

I am a regular at Opa, still friendly fast working staff but disappointed in Managements decision to cut my favourite meal the Low Carb Greek Salad in half. Now only received 1/2 the salad making the meal basically a snack and no longer a dinner option for me. Would have been totally ok with a $2-3 increase to offset the inflation. Instead now the container is 40% of what it was last month, their phone is out of order and the gyro meat broiler is broken with no timeline for repair. Opa what happened? At least offer a large option so I can order my dinner again. Major, major let down.

Went to opa greek food in milton. They use to be so good. Yesturday i order 2 chicken platers I asked for tomatoes and olives and feta, got feta on one plater and none on the second and 2 olives on each platter. And 2 hard potatoes on both Hardly any rice ... poor service. They use to put allot on the platers now hardly anything and the flat bread wadms horrible use to be a good place to eat. They even raised there prices. T

I went yesterday ordered the platter with a chicken skewer. The man in the front introduces me as the new owner. I paid $13 for the food. Food quality & quantity is gone down score 10/1. I am never going back again. The box was not ever even full. Two small potatoes small portion of rice, and the same story of rice chicken on the chicken skewer significantly less meat. The salad was very less.

Very Disappointed as Quality and Quantity of food has changed with new ownership. I ordered the Gyro with salad option which was maybe half to 3/4 of previous portions at a higher price. The Gyro was not as fresh as the past and they decided to dice it up pretty small. The pita that typically came in a separate bag now is placed in the container taking up space. It is a shame I wont be returning to this location.

Been ordering from these guys for the past 5,6 years and never got disappointed. Fresh ingredients and delicious food makes them the best Not to mention the amazing customer service. Another Time , called them 8 times before they picked up . And took my order , after picking up my order , the meat was missing . Was really good a few months ago for last 5 years, now recently was served there when asked for salad they charged me same price for less than half I used to get .. and was smearking when I gave my name , was also rude and talking down to me , maybe because hes on his monthly, miss the old owners, horrible place now .

The lady who was working tonight September 28th 2021 until closing time was absolutely horrible. Their phone was off the hook for 7 hours! We tried calling them several times starting at 7pm. Finally we went out of our way to go here to take a chance. We came at 7:52 and the lady said the chicken takes 10 minutes to make and she wouldnt make it. We explained we have been trying to call forever to place an order and now you cant take an extra 2 minutes to make something that would have already been made if you picked up your phone? The other worker explained that phone had been off the hook ALL DAY. Customer service jobs are clearly not for this lady. Rethink your staff!!!

For fresh tasty Greek food, Opa is my go-to spot in Milton. I appreciate the fact that aside from chicken they have a few other meat options (gyro, lamb, shrimp). I usually get the Opa platter with lamb or gyro, or a lamb souvlaki (the chicken is good too), and the shrimp kids meal with rice and pita. This may seem like minor detail but, the fries/pita on the side are seasoned really well. So tasty. And the service is great. You can also pre-order for pickup.

Ohhh sooo goood, OPA!!!!! I could eat 2 Gyros easily here, so good. A must stop for any Gyro, Or Souvlaki lover.

The restaurant has a stuffy and neglected feel, a bit of TLC to clean up the space would make it more inviting. Food was prepared by a plesant staff and food prepared fresh and tasty but geared more for take out service. I would recommend management to improve the insidse of the restaurant for a more positive dine in and customer experience.

I went today around 1 where this place was flooded by high school kids. Not once did I see anyone who was working at OPA asked to see vaccinations for the kids who were dining in. There was about thirty or more kids in there. When I got my salad I was disappointed. Veggies were pre-mixed in dressing and were soggy. Barely any dressing on the lettuce, And I didnt even get a fork. Most likely wont be coming back. Spanakopita and a Greek salad was $16, for lettuce that is brown.

Went there few days ago ..Ceasar salad was drenched in ceasar dressing ...looked pre-made...portion was half of what we use to get with previous owners..Been going there for years..We need orginal owners back.Never go there again..Also had to ask employee to change gloves after handling cash.

This place was one of my favourites in Milton, but not anymore. I do not mind that the size of food has been reduced due to covid19 inflation or whatever reason, but I really mind that its food taste has become too salty. Calamari is too salty and some of potatos are too salty. I do not know if the owner was lately changed few months ago or recipes were changed, but I am sure this is a really bad sign and the owner and staff should really need to check out all food preparations and what it tastes before selling.

Was kicked out after walking in unlocked door by employees who said restaurant was closed even though it was 8pm and everywhere you look it says they close at 9pm. Pathetic service!

This place is great when looking for a healthy food choice. All the meals are prepared right in front of you. The service is fast, so very little wait to bring home a great dinner for the family. The servings are quite generous, so I know thats I can buy a meal and it will be enough for a person, possibly with some left... Theyre open to substitutions to accommodate issues with gluten, or if youre just cutting carbs. The entire restaurant is exceptionally clean and the staff is always polite.

I had the chicken souvlaki bowl. It was 1 skewer of tasteless chicken, a few pieces of tomato and onion, served on a bed of salty rice. That said, if the tzatziki was good, all of it couldve been saved. Sadly, it was terrible. I would give the meal 1 star, but because I know every restaurant can have a bad day and because were going through a rough patch, Im giving it 3 stars. I hope you guys pick up your flavour game Opa. We ordered here last night and my husband and I were actually impressed. We each got a Opa platter one with chicken and the other with lamb (extra skewer added) and they were delicious! The pitas are also really good I usually skip them but couldnt resist. My only complaint is the amount of meat you get for the price, 1 skewer per platter unless you pay for an extra skewer, our bill was $31.00 which is a little steep for mostly salad and rice. Overall it was good food and we will most likely be back.

Ordered a Greek salad with chicken ahead of time, and when I arrived it was waiting, the salad was very good, chicken was nice and tender. I was glad I pre-ordered as this location gets really busy with students around 11:30. I will be back!

I was skeptical to eat here because of some bad reviews. Im happy to say the food was actually good lol its not homemade geek food but its not McDonalds. I had the chicken souvlaki wrap and a Greek salad. Defiantly will return.

Great food, what a hidden gem in milton! The chicken was cooked to perfection, and salad was properly dressed. The shrimp was also great. Only thing I did not look was the rice which was a little bland. But for fast food it was excellent.

Very unimpressed with my experience here at opa. I ordered food for pick up so, it would be fast and efficient. Only when I got to opa this was not the case. I was the first one in line ready to pay and go with my food. I stated to the cashier that I was paying with a gift card. The lady working cashier did not know how to do purchase food with gift cards. I waited there at the cash for 20 mins while she called and also face timed people to find out how to redeem the gift card I was using to purchase my meal. On top on this my meal was just sitting there on her side of the counter, now COLD!

My wife and I had a horrible experience! The chicken was chewy, the potatoes were hard and the pitas were SALTY. Pitas are not supposed to be salty to begin with! Couldnt stand more than a few bites, had to get a refund. Would NEVER go here again! Not true Greek food!

Bought a salad and chicken skewer for my mom and the salad was not clean. My mom found it tasted funny and had diarrhea for the past few hours. I also got a lamb platter which comes with a salad and found the salad tasted funny as well but luckily for me I haven t been affected.

Food was good reasonably priced. Girls there working hard. Fast service. will definitely go back.

This place is delicious and hands down one of my favourite fast food restaurants in milton. Ive always been satisfied after i eat there, the portions are big and the pricing is fair. If your going to complain about how this isnt real greek food, youre absolutely right. But if you want real greek food, then go to greece.

Probably the most un-authentic greek food Ive ever had. the Caesar salad is your typical powdered parm cheese from a grocery store, container bacon bits and store bought croutons. The geek place in the Milton mall is fabulous instead, strongly recommend that place. Dont be fooled by it being in a mall. Blows OPA on main street out of the water.

Lamb souvlaki wasnt that great. Ambiance was okay and staff is very slow.

Recently got takeout for the second time in five years here and would rather eat a cold can of olives for supper than give this place my business ever again. My payment slip was 60c more than my food receipt. Why? I was told I was going to get a fresh lamb skewer and was made to wait for 15 mins... instead they slipped the one cold one that was in the pot at the counter into my order. The potatoes were cold too, the rice smelled stale and the bread was like a frisbee. NEVER going back!
