I really don t like to put reviews but really is very bad from calamari to shrimp to pizza it s a disappointment

Had the worst takeout experience - the manager was extremely rude and wait time was much longer than promised (over an hour). The service is unacceptable for the price you re paying, will not come back again!

The best dessert I ve had in a while! The sponge cake with strawberries won my heart

Manager being disrespectful and dismissive - an awful takeout experience at this location on Oct 19,2024. We were told by the server that takeout orders would take 30-40 minutes (server asked the manager in front of us) and we decided to place a takeout order at 6:15pm. The order was still not ready at 7:23pm (around 70 mins after placing the order), so we briefly went outside to discuss what to do. When we headed back inside at 7:26pm, the order was finally ready but they did not apologise at all and were very rude. We ended up requesting for a refund. Server was told by manager multiple times that they can t refund and asked do you guys still want the food? dismissively. They also said we had to email their head office in order to get a refund. When we requested to talk to the manager, we waited about 10 minutes before the server said the manager said you can go to the kitchen and talk to him if you want because he s busy, unless you don t mind waiting for longer. . The server basically acted as a messenger and was passing messages between us and the manager. We could see the manager was literally behind the bar making pizza and avoided eye contact the entire time (you can see how close he is in the picture and he could clearly see us as well). After several back and forths between the server and the manager (over another 20 minutes), they somehow managed to issue the refund and handed us the receipt from their POS. Im not quite sure why the manager was so reluctant to speak and to own up when they failed to deliver service that they promised. We would have accepted had the manager acted more professionally or given us a more accurate timeframe at the beginning, even if that means a longer wait time. Theres no way Im spending $30 per person on terrible service like this.

Food and experience is good. Good for celebrating an occasion or hanging out with family/friends occasionally. Given the price, it won t be the place i ll go to satisfy my cravings for Pizza.

I had my baby shower here and the staff and service here is phenominal!! Emanuel the Chef is very accomodating, and all the food came out amazingly. Everyone was telling me after how delicious the pizza and appetizers were! The servers Anika and Maria were both so kind and attentive, and the event came out really well because of the staff and how accomodating everyone was. Definitely recommend doing any event here, or just coming for a bite as the pizza was really good!

Grateful to EVA My family had a reunion after 9 months of not seeing each other. Eva took very good care of us and was very kind!! And thanks to her she helped me find my earring that got lost in the restaurant or in the car but thanks to her after I mentioned I lost it, she went out and beyond to look for it and as I was leaving in my car after being unsuccessful in finding it, Eva saved the day. Thank you Eva, these earring were very dear to me Kid-friendliness: Eva went Out And Beyond!!!

We always make sure we stop here whenever we are in Milton. DELICIOUS pizza and wonderful staff.

I cant speak for the others with good experiences however I was told this franchise was good however my experience at this particular location was bad. Upon arriving it seemed like the server was completely disoriented didnt acknowledge we came in, kids were running around, and other customers ahead of us were starting to leave growing impatient to the service. After 20 minutes wer finally served, and shortly after the server already forgot if we had been served. On the other side the food was average, not the greatest wood oven pizza but no the worst. Seems like the service needs serious improvement because customers not being noticed is setting a terrible example.

We should have known something was wrong with this restaurant when we walked in at 7pm on a Saturday and there was not 1 - literally 1 - other customer in the restaurant. Before I continue, our waitress was amazing, service was great and she was fantastic overall. However, considering the price that we paid for everything, it makes sense why nobody wanted to eat here. For starters, paid $11 for a lager that was only available in their own private label and it didnt taste like a lager, it tasted like a sour IPA. The private label house wine bottle was $48. The pizza I ordered (a classic prosciutto and arugula) didnt come with tomato sauce so when I asked for it, without the server even letting me know, it was an extra $2. When I asked for balsamic vinegar for my pizza, that was an extra $1. Appetizers were costing about $15 each when they werent even really that amazing. When it was all said and done, bill came out to about $320. This restaurant actually had the nerve to charge $1 and $2 on the extra balsamic vinegar and tomato sauce on a $320 bill. No wonder why there was 9 people all night on a Saturday night.

Went here for a family dinner of 5 and I must say we were quite disappointed. For a Saturday evening we couldn t believe how empty this place was and now we know why. This place is overpriced and the menu I found was very limited especially for a restaurant specializing in pizzas!! The house wine is overpriced at $47/bottle or $18 for a 9 oz. glass. We got charged extra for balsamic vinegar to drizzle on the pizza and for tomato sauce to be added to a pizza!! The lager was not good at all and the entire menu is overpriced compared to other better restaurants we ve enjoyed. Our bill ended up being $325.00 for nothing special!! Quality of food wasnt the greatest and definately nothing to rave over. Our waitress though was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, I must say, we will not revisit again or recommend.

Had lunch here recently and ordered a pizza - ended up being twisted calzone style and both looked and tasted amazing. Couldnt have been happier with the food, it was soooo good. Unfortunately when it came time to pay and I received the debit machine the tip options were 18%, 20%, 25%. Tipping culture in this country has gotten out of control, why is not 15% acceptable for a normal restaurant experience anymore? So I chose the CUSTOM option intending to pick 15% however that only allows you to enter a dollar amount. So now I have to pull out my calculator just to leave a normal tip? Rather than that, ended up having to get the server to restart the whole process so I could begrudgingly leave 18% just to get it over with. Horrible experience with the payment, will never come back. Get over yourselves, 18% tip as the bare minimum, if your staff dont make enough pay them more money. Why is it my responsibility to pay another $20 on top of a meal. BTW I own a takeout restaurant and we dont even prompt for tip on the debit machine. You should be embarrassed.

Visited for the first and last time. We got meatball appetizer and prosciutto pizza. The tiny sad and tasteless meatballs were served on a cold also tasteless tomato sauce. The pizza, although from a wood oven, did not have nice crispy edges. It was extremely chewy and for some reason just dripped with grease. Like I said in the beginning of this. Don it recommend this place at all. The only good thing about this place was our server.

Came here with my kids because they had a pasta craving but guess what? They said they don t serve pasta after 6pm because the cooks are busy wrapping up for the day! If a restaurant is open then the bare minimum is to cook food, otherwise don t bother opening at all. Went to Pasqualino instead and had a well made pasta there.

I would suggest not showing up in the first hour of opening better to let them get into the swing. I d say it s a great date location the pizza is great - the aperitif of meatballs was a bit cool - but still tasty. The drinks brought our cost up but worth it.

Went here last weekend for lunch with my wife. We ordered the lunch special which was advertised at $15 for pizza and pop. We ordered a beer as well. My wife also wanted some olives and mushrooms on her pizza. When the bill came we were charged $20 each for the special because we didn t want the pop. Had a beer at $11 each instead. They also charged us $9 for the olives($5) and mushrooms($4). I think there were like 5 pieces of each. With tax and tip it came to over $94 for pizza and a beer for two people . Come on guys seriously that s ridiculous. Obviously won t be back.

If you are looking for a wood fire oven pizza, Goodfellas is the place to go. I ordered takeout and got Farmaiolo pizza. It was delicious. I am looking forwrad to trying other things on the menu.

Disappointing food making the food terribly expensive

This is the worst restaurant to order delivery from. They always seem to screw up the order, always missing items!! The restaurant blames the delivery driver and the driver blames the restaurant. Worst customer service!!!! ....As their only solution was to come pick up the missing items. The only way to get a refund is by contacting headquarters via email.

A wonderful experience tonight at goodfellas. The bread bowl Gnocchi and bread bowl salad made the experience so unique and delicious. The bread was so incredibly fresh! Right out of the oven taste!! A wonderful experience tonight!! Highly recommend enjoying a nice dinner out. And our waitress Maria helped top our experience:) her recommendations were on point!!

Generous portions of well prepared food. One Caesar salad order was enough for three people. The music was a little loud for normal conversation.

My pizza came out black/burnt to a crisp yet stone cold at the same time! I can only assume it was leftover from the day before or found abandoned in a snowbank or? My inexperienced server failed in an attempt to try and correct/remedy the situation. I think she felt embarrassed/ashamed/sorry for me after seeing what they decided to serve me. The only Good part of my Goodfellas experience was leaving.

Best Italian pizza

The kids wanted pasta and pizza so we decided to check out Goodfellas in Milton, I had been to the location at Streetsville before but hadnt tried the Milton location yet. I am quite glad we did, and had a great overall experience. Our server, Maria, was amazing and served us with a smile! Food was really tasty, pizza was perfectly baked and kids loved their pasta as well. We also tried Pollo Cacciatore which tasted great as well. We will definitely be coming back more often and try the rest of the menu items. Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetarian options which you can add meat to if you would like. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu with pasta and pizza.

First time here: The food was amazing! Not greasy, just the right amount. Waitress was great, coming to check on my friend and I to make sure we re good - but then as well not harassing us - nice balance with her. We stayed outside on the patio - too cold inside was my own issue - why do I want to feel like a popsicle eating my food - glad it was nice enough outside for us to eat at the patio. Would deff come again - but please turn up the heat for your guests! 5/5

Such a great restaurant. In my opinion it is the best pizza place in Milton. The staff are extremely friendly, it is a non-stimulating place (helps my anxiety) and the food is great!

Good food , Good Service . Nothing extraordinary though.

We came to Goodfellas for an early Fathers Day lunch and made a reservation for 8 people. We were seated promptly and the waitress was pleasant and answered all of our questions. The only issue was that the service was quite slow. We ordered items within 5 minutes of arriving and didnt receive our appetizer of bruschetta for over 30 minutes. The pizza overall was quite good and had good flavour, the pasta we ordered was quite bland.

We started off with a plate of calamari and ended up ordering more because of how good it was. The pizza is delicious and quite filling. I had a house dark and amber, and I would recommend both for any beer lovers. Parking can be a little tricky but Goodfellas is a great spot.

Pathetic customer service

First time visitor. Food was good, service from Rebecca was outstanding. My only issue was that we went for lunch and was told an hour after opening, 5 things on the lunch menu was sold out, while there was only a handful of people in the restaurant??

Great food. Went with a group of 8 people. Seemed they may have been slightly understaffed that evening for the number of patrons there. Service was slower than expected.

We dined in at Milton Good Fellas with infant and a pre-schooler. The waiter had never informed about the promotion they had done before we pay the bills and I would never recommend to anyone or ever visit there just because of her arrogance.

Food menu is average. The service is horrible. Brought a pasta for a toddler with pepper. Doesn t want to make any modifications. I will think twice before coming back

We made reservations and ha to leave without eating, they had some issue and couldnt prepare our food. They should had been honest from the start instead of having us wait an hour to let us know they had an issue in the kitchen.

The food was good but the prices are way to much for pizza. At one point people will not be able to afford Goodfellas!

We ordered the gnocchi, pizza and calamari. The calamari was bland. There was nothing special to it. It was really overpriced for a bland appetizer. The gnocchi was, OK . The pizza was good. As I like to call this a, one-and-done . I won t be returning.

Amazing food and amazing service. Our waitress Maria had some great recommendations and was very knowledgeable on the menu. We started off with the arancini and I had the Pesto Di Piselli pizza which was definitely my favorite. We were celebrating a birthday party with a table of 10. Great service from staff. They also accommodated one family members allergies very well. We enjoyed the food and special bday dessert provided to family member celebrating bday.

I cannot recommend this restaurant as the food was just ok and priced very high. The atmosphere was dated and musty.

The quality of Milton Goodfellas food is fantastic. I ve never had a dish I didn t like, whether it be a pasta, pizza or dessert. Last night, we had a friend who requires gluten-free food and said her gluten-free pizza was the best she d ever tasted - the crust was just as good as any regular pizza she d ever eaten! Her gluten free tiramisu was just as good. We all loved our food and really appreciated the welcoming staff and wonderful service.

Amazing experience! We had the Vesuvia and a few drinks. It was just enough for two people and tasted amazing. The waitress was so genuine and caring, the atmosphere and food were both authentically Italian, and we never felt anything less than a welcoming environment.

It took so long to get food, we finished our drinks before we get the food and the appetizer came at the very last. Food tastes okay. The worst part was the waitress. We asked her to have extra olives and we even asked her if we can order and she said she would give it on the side. She didn t bring the olives until we asked her three times. We ordered more drinks but she forgot. She never apologized and gave us ridiculous excuses which don t make sense at all.

Had a reservation made for tonight thankfully we made it early because the service was so slow. Apparently on Mother s Day there was only 2 cooks!! Also all our food came out slow and staggered so I was finished eating and my father in law was just getting his. Our 4 year old got her pizza last when everyone was finished eating as well it came with no pepperoni as requested- maybe they out of that as well but just didn t say. They were out of multiple ingredients such as chicken! Tomatoes, spinach. Table beside us got their food before us even though they arrived after us. Hubbys pizza was burnt. One waitress kept going around looking to see if we were close to being finished as well we taking away appetizer plate when we weren t even finished.. overall this was very disappointing especially for Mother s Day! We won t be back again..also wouldn t recommend it to anyone, especially since it isn t cheap.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free pizza here is really good you cant tell that you are having Gluten free but it is a rather small pizza not for a family but it will feed 2 people. Expensive as well but good. Love the fire pizza Food

Total failure. I dont plan to ever return again. The food was all bad. The brusquettes were cold. The waitress said she would change them and she never did. The hard pasta. My wifes and my meat was burnt and poorly prepared. Sadly it did not exceed our expectations After paying we mentioned it to the manager and he just replied sorry sorry

Made plans to come to Goodfellas with a couple of my girlfriends and I just had to come back here to write a review on how amazing our experience was. From the food, to the service and the atmosphere, we were all so pleased. Our waitress last night was Maria and she was likeable as soon as she reached the table. She really took her time to give my friends and I great food and drink recommendations, and we were all so impressed with how well she explained the menu. Overall if you re looking for a lovely evening out with some friends or family, you should check out Goodfellas it will not disappoint.

This place is amazing! My friends and I couldnt decide on a place to have lunch. We decided on pizza as it was the easiest choice. I didnt know what to expect from this place and I was so impressed! The staff was super friendly, the drinks were delicious and our food was incredible! I highly recommend the bruschetta!

Was highly recommended by a colleague to come and try this place out. Checked out the website before hand for all the details and was very intrigued. We are a family of four including a 5 month old, we drove over an hour to try Goodfellas out only to be turned away because we did not have a reservation. There were only three tables occupied at the time we arrived. As we were from our of town we were left a bit stranded and did not know where to go. We obviously Goas nearby options but we were ab hour wait everywhere else as each other restaurant was absolutely swamped. I dont understand why you wouldnt want to gain new business with people who are from out of town and have never tried the establishment. I am in sales and a fresh customer is ALWAYS the best opportunity to gain racing reviews and sales retention. I feel this was a major failure as the restaurant had ample space for us. Simply disappointed.

Recently attended for dinner on a Friday and the overall experience was superb! The atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant was nice and very welcoming...you felt right at home! Our waitress was Maria and I cant enough about her and her EXCELLENT service. She was extremally knowledgeable, super sweet and very helpful. Honestly, I feel like something was up in the kitchen the night I went. Our waitress was very sweet though. But we wont be going back again. We arrived, and ordered just a starter and a pizza. It took 25 mins for the starter to come (caprese salad) and then another 35 mins for the pizza. During this time, a family who came after us had gotten all their food and we were still waiting. We did inquire about it, our lovely waitress was as stumped as we were about our food. And while waiting for the food went out to have a smoke after informing our waitress we will be right back, came back 5 mins later and our table was cleared (water, pop, plates etc). Im pretty sure they thought we had just left... Overall it was just a weird vibe and we felt like an inconvenience to them, as if we showed up for dinner we werent invited to lol.

First time at Goodfellas Pizza in Milton. Extremely disappointed. It was not busy but service was terrible. Extremely slow. Took at total of 1 hour and 45 mins get our appetizers and main. Not sure if they were short staffed but service was beyond slow. Apps were ok. Garlic bread was stale. Calamari was ok. Main dishes were cold. I honestly think our server forgot about us. Had to ask another server for refills on our drinks. Pizza was extremely over seasoned, very salty. Food was overpriced.

Booked a table for 9 people at milton location then received a call from someone telling that the manager canceled my table and telling me not to come in after i put my kids in the car and called my family friend to meet me there with his family and was on my way there thats really unprofessional i always go there and used to love that place but will never go back

We have been to Goodfellas once before in another city, but after this experience we will not be going back. We had a reservation for my father s birthday/parent s Anniversary on Saturday night (6 adults and a toddler). We arrived on time (5:00pm) and other than two other parties about our size, who had clearly been there for a bit, there weren t many people in the restaurant. Our server greeted us and we told him we weren t quite ready. We then ordered the charcuterie board and our toddler s pasta as well as our meals (3 pizzas, a pasta, the Bass and Veal) at about 5:30pm. It took approx. 30minutes for just the appetizer which was meat and cheese on a board! (I also had to ask for the toddler meal to be brought out as soon as it was ready). It started to get busier in restaurant and it was incredibly loud. We then continued to wait for our meals. We asked a few times and our server apologized, and mentioned the other parties were what was making it so busy in the kitchen. WE WAITED OVER 1.5hrs and still no meals. My husband and I ended up having to leave because our 1year old couldn t handle the sitting around and the noise any longer (we were shocked she lasted as long as she did). We had to ask for our meals to be packaged to go and still had to wait another 15minutes before they were ready. My family finally got their meals as we were leaving. NOT ONCE DID A MANAGER COME TO OUR TABLE!! I worked in the food industry for years and THIS should NEVER have happened. I am shocked that not only did a manager never come to the table while we were there waiting, but not even after we left and my parents got the bill. Nothing was compensated and other than an apologetic sever (and it wasn t his fault at all) nothing was done to try and rectify the horrible experience we, and several other tables, had. The management at this location needs some retraining! When you have guests waiting over an hour+ for their meals GO SPEAK TO THE TABLE!! We definitely won t be going back (not to mention the food is definitely not worth the prices).

The pizza reminded me of Italy, paired with an Aperol spritz. Great service, great food!

Nicely kept restaurant and was not busy at all for a Friday night. Our reservations were for 7:00 and they were already out of a number of dishes which was frustrating. I placed my order and 20 minutes later the waitress came to tell me they were out of the sauce that went with my pasta. Not ideal, 20 minutes later. Our waitress was quite new and a number of our drink orders were either forgotten or just not placed with the bar. We had a party of 15 and they should have helped this poor girl out. The kicker was that they automatically charged all of us 20% gratuity (on poor service and menu out of a lot of options) on the total with tax! This should not be allowed to happen. Servers make full minimum wage now, therefore an automatic gratuity should never be imposed. And to tip with the tax included in the total? That just plain ridiculous. This was our first time here and our last. And the prices are ridiculous for appetizers, which we did not get. $30 for Calamari and $25 for Bruschetta.

Kitchen and bar staff slow making food and drinks. Sat 10-15 mins for drinks. Our entrees came out first before I had received my appetizer. Waitress apologized repeatly for taking so long with drinks and food. However, the good was very tasty and the staff treated our party well. Food

First time eating here and the food was amazing. The waiters were very friendly and our food was served quickly. The restaurant itself also had a lovely atmosphere.

Found a bug in the pizza

It is such an amazing place to find after traveling. The restaurant was packed, and we did not have a reservation, but we were still able to get a little 2 seater table. We ordered two of their pizzas (Diavola and Vesuvius). I have never had better pizza! The staff was amazing and so very efficient ! If I could give this place 100 stars, I would! The price is a little bit more than I expected but the quality of the food made it worth it! We will be back here whenever we travel to Ontario!!!

This was the best pizza Ive ever had! We made a wrong turn, and just saw wood oven pizza, so we decided to take a chance, and we are happy we did. The food was great, the decor is very nice, and the staff were amazing ( they genuinely seem to love their jobs. Will be visiting again when in Ontario!

5/5 for service. However, pizza was beyond disappointing. There was absolutely no flavor, i could not tell if the tomatoe base even existed, the 3 ingredients should compliment each other. I will advise the owners to revisit the basics of a good neopolitan pizza.

Dined in this week and had the Margherita pizza and Alfredo pasta. Best Margherita pizza in Milton. The staff was very friendly too and the restaurant is very clean. I ll definitely be back for more.

Loved the pizza here. Didn t plan on stopping in but I was in town and craving pizza. This place came up as the number one recommendation so I stopped by. Wasn t disappointed and you won t be either.

Great place very good food

Firstly, the ambiance and service of the place was just fabulous, and most of all their FOOD was AMAZING. The gnocchi was a dream come true, and the pizza was over the top! I recommend this place for dinner, lunch, breakfast, and everything since the vibe fits well. I enjoyed everything from the music to the food, try it out!

Just wanted to give a big shout out to our server Kaddee. She handled our big group with excellence even though our group order was complicated. Kaddee you did a great job and you were amazing. To the store manager, please make sure to support your staff with complex group orders and dont leave your staff to fend for themselves. We are a group of about 10. 3 pizzas were ordered, all came out cold. The pizzas didnt really taste that good from the one slice we got out of it before sending it back. Ordered some pasta, was very oily. The waitress mandated we pay a tip of 18%, a reduction from the 20% as per their website. The reduction was as a courtesy based on the experience. I took exception to this. Im game to tip when the service mandates it. However I do not tip if the service isnt there. The service overall was horrible, very slow and unorganized. This restaurant will never see business from me again.
