The Grand Chalet & Tony Spiducci Ristorante in Milton

We love Tony Spiduccis and go as often as we can. Lamb spiduccis are their specialty and we add penne a la vodka and Caesar salad to round out the meal.

The Spiducci s are a must have. Steak was phenomenal too. I will be coming back.

Great food just like Italy!

This is a regular haunt for me when in Milton particularly with a large group. Dinning area is aging fast, but the service is spectacular, and the food is good. Skewers are a must and the schnitzel is surprisingly good given this is an Italian restaurant.

Look the place is dated, but clean and comfortable. The food is the reward for visiting. Ample and good, plenty to choose from. It s also been around for years so whatever they re doing is working.

The Agnolotti and Schnitzel was very very tasty. Go take a walk down the street and pay them a visit if you are charging your EV!

Food was very well prepared and tasty, but if you get Margarita to serve you (if thats her real name), then be prepared to get some attitude, albeit with a smile, just like before a snake strikes! The whole experience for our dinner had to be on her terms. We took too long to order, then she gave us a limited time to order correctly the first time with a memory test and joked we could not look at the menu to order. Very pressured. Then we were taking too long to finish as she wanted to clear the table (of course all covered up as a joke), but the final straw was telling us she had to leave.... and asked, what about us? So in other words, please leave so l can finish! It was 9:30 pm. Margarita, you may have pretended to joke, but it wasnt funny at the end. Your true colours showed. You need some training in tactfullness and attitude. We still tipped, because we are fair people and gave you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you were going through something - but we will not dine there again. Im not into rudeness. Management, l hope you are reading this.

We have been coming here for almost 20 years and its always a wonderful meal and a great experience! The food is consistently fantastic and the service is always wonderful! You are definitely in for a treat if Margarita is serving you! We were in tonight for dinner for a much needed girls night. The restaurant was full as always, Margarita was off, but the service was wonderful, attentive and not rushed at all. We had a wonderful, leisurely meal. Started with Spiducchi. Salad and Bruschetta, we all had pasta, which was perfect and finished with Tiramisu. Great evening!

Ordered their specials..papardelle with mussels and veal chop covered in mushrooms with potatoes and vegetables. Absolutely delicious. And of course cannot go to Grand Chalet without having some of their famous spiducci. Great food great service great beautiful.

A buddy had mentioned to me that if I love good food I had to try the Grand Chalet. I live near Barrie Ontario so I said there is no way I would travel to Milton , dont care how good the Italian food was. My buddy kept on insisting that it was worth the drive so I finally gave in. All I can say is he was right , the flavors l just cant describe. I could go on and on but in short I will be making a trip to Milton real soon. BTW the service was of the chart.

Im rating 4 based solely on the mushroom pasta. That dish was amazing.so very truffled and balanced. Brochetta was hard, and fresh but lacked extra dimension. Seafood pasta was watery, over cooked, and the sauce was pretty meh. Tastes like an east side Mario dish.

They act like they are doing you a favor when you have a reservation. Worst customer service I have ever received, I got so much attitude from the guy at the front and was very rude. I will never go there ever again. Keep treating customers like this you wont have a business for much longer. Customer service is almost more important than the quality of the food, dining out is an experience and if you are spending your hard earned money you should be treated with respect and like gold because I am putting money into your business. I walked out and didnt eat there.

Had a birthday day party for 15 last night and Domenic and Mike and their wonderful staff made the experience simply wonderful. The food was so tasty and delicious especially my favourite the spidinni. Everyone is still talking today about how good the food was. Thanks to the entire team at Grand Chalet for making my birthday extra special.

Very delicious food and staff is amazing.

Slow service for those with dietary concerns. Ha e been there for several weddings and similar issues each time. Dietary restrictions: They do have gluten-free options and can attempt to accommodate for lactose intolerance. While everyone else was having crepes and ice cream, those of us with lactose intolerance got raspberry sorbet that was overly sweet and many couldnt eat it.

The food is amazing and so tasty and fresh. Great reasonable prices, we love to have family dinner here! The kids love it as well and enjoy the experience.

The reviews dont lie. Service is without fault..the cuisine is excellent. The ceasar salad, is the best Ive ever had in a restaurant and Ive had from the best... everyone enjoyed their main courses with portions more than adequate and delicious. We will be back a second time to investigate the menu alot further...considering it being a prime time Friday evening with most tables occupied, the chef and staff presented our meals without delays. All that remains is to go and eat and write your own review.

Amazing food, cant wait to visit again!

Salmon entree was delish!! Would have enjoyed a few lemon slices on my picatta salmon, but it was delightful with the lemon and peppercorns.

Tony Spiduccis has always been our go to for Italian cuisine. Our last visit was very disappointing. I ordered the linguini pescatori and was surprised with the chinchy helping. I understand the pressures that restaurants are under, but if you are going to raise your price for meals, then patrons will expect the same kind of consistency and quality of meals.

Wow, what a dinner! It was our 1st time there, our server Diana was awesome, and the food was outstanding! Great pricing as well.

This restaurant is located in old building. They have a hall in the basement where you can arrange a party for any event. I went to one of that party. It is a very cozy place, there is a bar in there as well. Food was good, we had a vegetable soup and chicken breast. Soup was delicious and chicken was juicy but no flavour so you have to use whatever spices available to make it according to your liking. Service was great but I dont know the price of the food since it was paid by the host. There is enough parking in the back.

Dont let the exterior fool you - the food, atmosphere and service was all amazing. Steve was our server and was friendly and came to check on us often. The atmosphere is non-fussy and comfortable, while still feeling like youre treating yourself to a nice night out. I had the Agnolotti and house salad and wow, they did not disappoint. The salad dressing was so flavourful I dont know what kind of magic they do to make oil and vinegar taste so good. Pasta was cooked al dente and the filling and sauce were incredible. No room for dessert this time around but will definitely be back! Wheelchair accessibility: If youre going to the restaurant then its on the main floor, no steps up, no elevator or ramp needed.

It was OK. My girlfriend ordered a small Cesar salad. I ordered large. Same plate size. Same serving..??? Whats the extra $3 for if equal...lol. iced tea $4. Portions not very large. $100 for 2 starters and 2 entres and left hungry still. Walls could use some decorating. Colour schemes pretty flat and dated inside and out. Lots of peoople love this restaurant but its just Not for us. Theres some great restaurants well appointed with excellent atmosphere updated interiors, service, and food downtown in this price range which I feel offer much better dining experiences.

Just spectacular Italian food and incredibly attentive service! I went off-menu and they made me spaghetti with arrabiata sauce and grilled chicken, which was served fresh, piping hot and outrageously delicious! If youre looking for authentic cuisine, expertly prepared with simple ingredients, this is DEFINITELY the place!

What an absolutely AMAZING experience! One of the most authentic Italian meals we have had locally. Four of us enjoyed the antipasto platter with bruschetta, followed by the gnocchi and pene alla vodka, and lastly the lamb spiducci and salad. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection and the service impeccable. Highly recommended if you re looking for authentic Italian cuisine. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Randomly decided to try it out while in Milton for the weekend. Excellent food and service. I got the Osso Bucco. It is not on the regular menu, just as a special. If you see it, get it! I was delicious and succulent. The potatoes were creamy and the vegetables were very fresh and perfectly cooked. For dessert I had the key lime cheesecake. It is not made in house (only the tiramisu is but I dont like coffee). The cheesecake was incredibly light and delicious, not at all heavy like so many i get in restaurants. I highly recommend and cant wait to return.

For the best made from scratch Italian food, you cant beat this place! You have to check it for yourself as you wont believe the prices for the quality of food they serve. My family enjoyed ourselves and we will be back.

Tony Spiduccis was recommended to me by a friend, an Italian by heritage. He said you wont get a better Italian meal in the Halton region than at Tonys. He was absolutely right, the food was outstanding, one of the best meals Ive had in a long time. The veal dishes were absolutely fantastic, tender, flavourful with ample portions. The service was also excellent, attentive, friendly, prompt and accommodating. What more could you want at a restaurant, good food and good service. However, a word of warning, the decor leaves a lot to be desired. But in all honesty, I was forewarned so it didnt really matter, I had no prior expectations. Regardless, the food more than made up for the roadhouse like atmosphere, neither my guest and I were put aback. Long and Short of it, I would highly recommend Tonys.

Food, service and atmosphere were great. The only thing that wasnt convenient when trying to setup for a party was that the room we had only had one outlet which made it hard to plan but the Chalet team had what we needed to make things work.

We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and this is the restaurant my wife picked. We had to take two cars as there were six of us ..If I wasn t following my wife I would ve drove right past. The signage is a bit on the small side. We drove around back and the parking was a bit tight and I drive a small car. Once inside I forgot about all of that we were greeted and seated promptly. The decor reminded my of my grandma s house which was great as it brought back a lot of good memories. Our waitress came over soon after we re seated and took our drink orders. We ordered a few appetizers and them came out much quicker than I expected. They were delicious and were devoured in minutes. I thought it couldn t get better but it did with the main course. The food brought me right back to nonna s house. The portions were just right and no one had a complaint. We finished with coffee s and no dessert as we had other plans. I was surprised by the bill for the amount of food we got and the number of people .I was expecting it to be much more. Great value. We ll be back for sure.

We just hosted our son s first birthday party at The Grand Chalet in the event space upstairs and we just can t say enough good things about our experience. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable and the space itself was so lovely, it s just what we wanted. Dominic, Mike, Anniya and all the service staff were absolutely wonderful to work with. From the moment we booked the space, their attention to detail, communication and helpfulness was first class. I d definitely recommend The Grand Chalet for hosting events and we ll probably use it again ourselves in the future!

Just went last night with the family. Its been a few years since Ive been, and honestly these guys just get better and better. Our server Margarita was so kind to our toddler. I appreciated the fact that she sat us at 7 even though they close at 8. The food came out super fast and super fresh. My sister is getting married there in June, and I am so looking forward to it.

The server was so nice and good to me that I asked her what days her shift is just because when I go back there I want her to serve me. Enjoyed our meal and the friendly staff. I had the linguini pescatore and the scallops were cooked perfectly. My wifes pasta e Fagioli was one of her favourites from any restaurant. Unique and good tasting cocktails. Cookies and cream cake dessert was well executed.

Italian friends recommended this place and wish we asked sooner! The aged steak is incredible! I don t think I ll ever go to another restaurant (like the Keg) for steak again. This is the spot! Steak and penne all s vodka. I ordered the fettuccini so funghi and shared the pollo pizzaiola. Chefs kiss** excellent food and it s affordable. We will be back to try other dishes. Tiramisu for dessert to finish everything off . 3 main entrees, a beer, sangria and tiramisu came to a total of $120 tax included

My husband and I were in Milton although we are not residing there. This Italian ristorante was the nearest where we parked. Italian cuisine never go wrong! It was an impromptu decision to have our dinner and have no reservation. Were told that we have to wait for half an hour. However, we only waited for less than 15 minutes and were seated. Service was fast and our drinks come without any fuss! Was caught by surprise that our food was served to the table by the chef himself, really is nice of him! Linguini Pescatore (seafood) with its tomato sauce is exceptionally tasty. Seafood is fresh and can taste its sweetness. The Schnitzehl Alla Germanese (egg battered, pork loin with mushrooms) has the tenderness ever tasted especially with the demi-glace cream. We are sure to come back again! Very contented.

The attitude of the waiter was awesome. The atmosphere is great. I ordered tomato soup (zuppa...) and pescatore. Soup was nice but the pasta is not better than I expected because the taste depended on Garlic too much. If they use less garlic and more flavored olive oil, it gonna be perfect.

My husband and I wanted to try a restaurant that we hadnt been to before and we decided on Tony Spiduccis . We have lived in Milton for 27 years so I am not sure how we have never been there before. The service was excellent and the food amazing. Highly recommended. Wonderful way to celebrate our 28th anniversary.

Domenic and staff, YOU NAILED IT!!!!!!!! The Over 50 Baseball League have been having their banquet here for a few years prior to Covid. Saturday evening passed was the first one they had since 2019. It was beautiful. The banquet hall was set up so elegant and the meal was out of this world. Its as if Covid never bothered them. One thing I would like to say, may sound negative but in my head, I think it would keep the outside of your building beautiful as always. There are still quite a few smokers around and I suggest you have more canisters or something outside. It would save smokers just flicking their butts and leaving them. It would make your hall look very dumpy and ugly. Just a suggestion. I would hate for you to have negative reviews focused on the outside as opposed to the inside. I take my hat off to you and your staff. Im sure we will return for another fun night at The Grand Chalet. Vegetarian options: All of their needs were taken care of. We celebrated our Christmas and Retirement occasions for our organization in their large event room. The service was great, they even provided non-dairy, vegetarian and gluten-free options to a few of the members.

The entrance for the restaurant is in the front of the building and parking is around the side. When walking into the main entrance it feels like an empty banquet hall but then there is a side door for the restaurant entrance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is reasonably priced and a good variety. The small salad and penne a la vodka was a great portion, the steak was ok. Would have liked to try a dessert but we were too full. I would recommend this restaurant for the food!

I was in town visiting from Calgary on business and stopped in for dinner. The service was absolutely top notch (Margherita, come Visit me in Calgary!) and the dishes were spectacular. I had the zuppa seafood dish and added penne on the side. Truly an impressive presentation. I also met Mike the head chef, not very often anymore you see the chef walking about the restaurant visiting with guests. A++
