We haven’t tried the AYCE sushi here so cant say much about that.. but we’ve done a la carte and I always order the Katsu Don and a few sushi items. Katsu Don has to be my favourite, very affordable and you get plenty of servings! The only thing we noticed is that the lady server, who seems to be always there comes off rude. Feels like we’re bothering her all the time.
So when you call to make a reservation and you tell us a price that’s listed online and then turn around and charge double is just ridiculous. We called way ahead and asked the pricing AND confirmed what it said online to turn around and say that’s an old price? It’s your responsibility to give the right info online and when we confirm you should be honouring the price you said. Paid 18 dollars for a 5 year old after being told it was 8 and 36 vs 22. Never coming back, not an honest practice and the servers were extremely rude.
The tall guy with glasses was our server he was very nice, this is our second time coming here so posting this is fine. Both of the times, the lady's working were very rude, last time the lady worker would not stop staring at us and this time a different lady just had a rude expression on her face and would not talk back when we said thank you and even paying the bill. Would've tiped but she ruined it for us the last straw was throwing the machine on my bfs phone. Proper manners would go a long way because it doesn't make us want to come back. Food is good though, kitchen seems great.
I have visited this restaurant 10+ times and I've never had an issue. They have iPad ordering. Food is always fresh and the service is great. They have a great variety of everything.
My husband and I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and the staff are friendly - we're practically regulars at here. A lot of people need to realise that being straightforward does not mean someone is rude! Sushi places can be really fast paced and sometimes you just have to get 👏things 👏 done👏! Our nephew is pretty active and even he was able to sit down and have fun while we ate (they gave him special chopsticks so he could eat like us which blew his mind). We always recommend this place to our friends and others - a lot of these reviewers need to learn not to take even the littlest thing as a personal offense it makes them sound childish. Love you guys and see you next time! 😊💕

Worse sushi me and my wife have been. We are trying to go around GTA to try every sushi place but this one was so bad. Photos are misleading, informations like 4-6 y/o kids would pay $4.99 given but when i asked about 3 and 2 y/o you have to pay still when i asked her she said "oh thats why you have to ask here so you can know" seriously? They could have put that info on the website like other sushi restaurants do, and my youngest kid didnt even eat. Other sushi is for free. Not enoug foood options too. Plus i had a bad diarrhea after 20 mins of eating there . Food poison! Just stay away from this place. Unpleasant customer service -0 star
Food was excellent and was really hungry. Meet a friend for lunch great atmosphere and easy to chat and talk. Didn’t always remember to take photos. Spicy sauce a little too spicy for me but was good. Next time I would ask for it on the side but would still get it. Shrimp tempura was great -tempura squid was too chewy for me. Overall would totally return.

The first time I went with my gf and we asked for things not to be in our food for allergy reason and they didn t listen the fish was warm and and extremely salty and greasy, we both felt instantly sick we will never go there again.

I ve been coming here for over a year and everything was great until today we eat the usual amount of food and finished all our sushi, and left over a small bowl of chicken. I ordered some custard buns for dessert and they restricted us from getting the buns because we left a small bowl of chicken or else we need to pay for it this is absurd. We are regular customers and this is the first time we are treated this way. This is not the all you can eat way. Understandably if we had left a lot of food, this would make sense. I am very disappointed to say that I will never be back here.
Terrible service they wanted to charge us extra for leaving a few pieces of chicken during lunch. They are extremely rude and they lost our business. No wonder why they are so cheap, cheap business cheap service. Hope they get closed down because that s not how you keep customers coming back that s for sure.
Website price and the price they charge is completely different . Went on Sunday at 2.30pm and I was charged dinner rate. The food tasted old and not fresh. The place was empty, should have know by that the food would be subpar. And the attitude the lady had was another level. Update: I threw up after coming home, had an upset stomach. Since symptoms pointed towards food poising, went to Emergency and was confirmed as food poising.
Do not bother eating here! That was the grossest sushi I had ever eaten, I had to spit it out it was so bad. The best part of that experience was leaving.

I went with the intention of having dinner, but the restaurant was so dirty that I decided get out! The ipad was disgusting floors, tables was super dirty!!! The ladie was cleaning all the tables with the same damp cloth! All the sashimis was stander at the cabinet, what means is not fresh!
Best price for sushi! We had been buying sushi from grocery store because of inflation but me and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the lunch combo and only paid $23 including everything! Highly recommend this place! Wheelchair accessibility: No steps only for washroom there are lots of stairs
We went a week ago for first time, worst experience of restaurant ever, we were charged for all you can eat option.waitress never explained any difference between Alcarte and all you can eat but she claimed she did. she just came to table to gets drinks order that s all. we ordered hardly 5 items thinking it s alcarte plus 2 drinks and when we called for bill and was charged around $150 we asked why is that so? Upon explaining they just gave 10% discount for misunderstanding. waitress was not at all attentive moreover we were not even served one item that we ordered. Imagine paying $140 for just 5 items! We tried to explain but they didn t understand at all, we were forced to pay.
Worst sushi experience ever. Not only was the food slimy, rolls loosely formed, and bland flavours, but the staff make you literally feel uncomfortable to be a paying customer. We arrived at 7:45 and were immediately told the place closes at 9 before we were even seated. The staff then proceeded to leer the entire time, have extremely loud and disruptive conversations, and even pace the room in a dead eyed stare (assuredly to influence us to hurry up). Whoever owns or manages this place clearly has no love for it, and seems to be quite content with luring a clientele that is sushi starved in Milton. This would never fly anywhere else. We will never be back and I highly recommend you avoid it as well.

Very limited food options and extremely bad customer service
Super disappointed. Me and my two friends went to this sushi place. One of us was not as hungry so she didn t want to get all you can eat but me and my other friend wanted all you can eat. I understand that they said that that s their policy that they can only have one menu per table, but the way that the server said it was like very disrespectful and it kind of just ruined it. She was being disrespectful because I guess we were younger and she didn t really care. I just felt like if we were adults, she wouldn t be talking that way. I don t know. She woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but the food was good. I feel like the service could ve definitely been better and again she was super disrespectful and even they were just like throwing down the food on the table and walking away. They didn t even ask how s it going over here like how it normally is the last time I went. I m gonna have rate a 2 out of 5. Probably not going back.
I enjoy Sushi and Japanese fried rice. They have a great variety of sushi. Price is reasonable too. Must try.

Ordered the party tray. The portion size of the rolls was not reflective of the cost. Rice quality wasnt up to par either. Ive had sushi at other Aji Sai locations - cannot compare. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

Its okay, it used to be better! My husband enjoyed it but the sushi was basic nothing special, Ive always liked the garden salad and miso soup, chicken terriyaki was dry but good portion, gyoza were delicious and the yam tempura was decent too. My husband liked the beef skewers I didnt have any but he said they were good. For $85 I probably wouldnt order again

GLASS IN MY VEGGIE ROLL! Please be cautious when ordering and check your food thoroughly. Better off, don t order at all. Worst part is when i called the resturant to inform them about the glass piece - they were not apologetic at all. That was my first and last order. This resturant needs to be investigated for health and safety codes.
True quality is good. Servers and staff are very friendly speed of service is quite slow specially, for sushi or sushi orders.
I bought a platter to bring home from here for the family. It was a fairly large platter/tray and fed about 6 people with 100 pieces. We really enjoy our Sushi and this place is affordable. I appreciate that theres still such a place in Milton!
I ve gotten takeout from here multiple times and they never disappoint! Super accommodating to substitutions as well.
Some of the fish looked and smelled questionable... portions were not consistent and it was hard to communicate with the staff about it... too expensive for sub par quality

This is the second time I had an issue with this place. Just ordered a bunch of rolls on Saturday night and found glass in a veggie roll. Called the restaurant after speaking to Uber Eats, and the person was more upset that Uber Eats refunded the order and was not apologetic at all about the glass in the sushi roll. The first time was during prime meal time, and they kept pushing my takeout order out from the time of pickup. Had to wait an extra 40 mins.
Ive been here a handful of times now and Im not sure why the rating is so low. The selection, even during lunch, is great. The sushi is a good ratio of fish to rice, the hand rolls are a good size with lots of variety, the salmon skin hand roll is especially great. Love the Japanese fried chicken as well. And a huge selection of rolls. Lunch time is also a great value. They had really great custard buns the first few times I went but theyve since switched to a standard style that most sushi places serve and thats a little disappointing. Staff has always been friendly, food comes out quickly and theres plenty of seating.

The food was amazing and the service was great. Everyone was so nice and very helpful. The decor was beautiful. The food had good portions and it was very flavourful. There were many options on the menu to chose from. I would come here again! Vegetarian options: There were many meat free options Wheelchair accessibility: The whole restaurant was wheelchair accessible except for the bathrooms. To get to the bathrooms you had to go downstairs.
Best sushi place around, firehouse roll is the most amazing roll I ve ever had. Rolls aren t over sized with a ton of rice. This place is great!

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant where the server treated me terribly and yelled at me in front of my 2 children who I had taken there for lunch. I don t understand how someone can treat their customers this way . I had gone to this restaurant many times before, but I will NEVER return.

Extremely bad service. They are taking so long to serve us compare to other sushi places!! And they dont have so many varieties of sushi or Japanese sides!! Also the rice for the sushi is old and not fresh! I prefer next time to go to August 8 or sushi star are much better! Food

My girlfriend and I keep coming back to this place for both take out and dine in. The quality of food is not the highest but its much cheaper than other sushi in the area, especially if you pay cash. There have been a few instances of items being left out of our order but when thats has occurred they usually give the item for free on our next visit so it is well resolved. Ive never had any issues with the staff. Edit: They mess up our order about 4/5 times we order.
Really enjoyed the HOT & FRESH food. Once we learned how to re-order on the iPad food came out fast. I recommend Aji Sai. Parking: Strip plaza with plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Front door is street level.

Place had very limited options for lunch buffet compared to others much better Japanese restaurants. Before end of our meal we were told you have to eat all rice that came as part of the sushi or we were going to be charged extra . We had ordered 3 rolls of rice . For a buffet we had eaten very little overall and charged 56 for an adult and 13 year old who had barely eaten anything. Also bathroom doors did not have locks!!! Don t go , many other awesome sushi buffet options in Mississauga

Awful experience with this restaurant. We ordered a sushi combo and a bento box combo Upon delivery there was no wasabi and the rice and broccoli were cold after waiting an extra 45minutes. When I called the restaurant the woman just laughed about what I had just told her to the male working with her. She offered very little to resolve the issue and simply told me to come and pickup the wasabi. Then the man came on the phone and got angry with me and then hung-up. DO NOT order from this restaurant. Horrible quality and service.

Went in with my 6 year old daughter and had all you can eat menu. When we were done there were a few things left over. We are 2 small people, we didnot order a lot, and they threatened to charge us for our leftovers. I said to them we barely ordered enough food to even cover the cost of the all you can eat prices and im not paying extra. They tried to fight me on it so I suggested they charge me all la carte then, which they didnt do - they continued to argue about it while I paid the AYCE price and she said during that time thats over $100 worth of food, thats why I said no its not and again said to charge me all la carte which again she didnt do because Im assuming she knew I was right. For the record I did the math - after tax we paid 64.00 for all you can eat. Without taxes, according to their menu, we wouldve paid 45.00 for a la carte.

I ve ate here 3 times this year and after everytime I end up with a stomach bug and miss work the next day because I m on the toilet constant. The workers be yelling at each other and it makes it awkward when eating inside. Used to love coming here but it s going down hill.

Came for dinner last night and there were no Asian diners in sight (red flag). The sushi was okay. I d say a little lower quality that what I d normally expect for all you can eat (also for $40). The place is kinda dark and dim, and the food was pretty average. I found the menu limited and there was nothing special about it. We were all very hungry and every where else was full so be just wanted to fill our stomachs. A pretty subpar meal though, although the servers were all so nice!

Aji Sai is our go to place for take out sushi in Milton. The sushi and sashimi are simply perfect, freshly prepared and well presented.

The Rainbow roll didnt get over the rainbow, but the spicy seafood udon soup was awesome and had me sweating. Delicious.
This place is OK. It s cheaper than most all you can eat sushi places but the quality of the food does go down quite a bit. Sashimi isn t very fresh and even the quality of cooked dishes fluctuates. I find that ordering a la carte is more worth it as options are limited locally in Milton. Attitude of the staff also fluctuates and they could be very nice to outright rude.

Horrible service the waiters have an attitude when you order more food when it s all you can eat. Would walk by and shake their head when they would see us order more food. Kept asking if we were done over and over then would aggressively put our food on the table.

We went to order 2 orders of the green dragon roll. When I entered it smelt like grease even though my mask which was the second red flag for me I checked reviews and it was 3.8 stars which was the first red flag, but decided to still give it a try. When we got home we opened it up and found 16 rolls but 4 of them (the shrimp ones) were rolled horribly there rice was not rolled proper and was hard to eat.

I told them I have 4 cameras outside my house and I can proof them wrong! He said to contact akip the dishes whenI did so no help from their end either!! Called the restaurant again and asked for driver s number he said he cant help me with anything they only make food and thats all they can do! They should start using uber eats atleast yoy can contact the driver thru messages!!!

Unfriendly, I ordered 34 pcs and when got home there was 32 pcs only. I m not sure if it was a mixup with other order or didn t have the stuff to complete the order. The owner I presume, was rude and unpleasant to talk to.

I have been going to this place since it first opened. The best price for ala carte in town. They are now reopened for dine in and have done some great renovations. They are doing all-you-can-eat again starting next week. The prices for that have gone up but they are no more than the price you pay at similar style places in Mississauga/Burlington/Oakville. You will order from a tablet now so you can see most of the pictures/descriptions before you order and see everything you ordered. Owner is very happy to be back open for dine-in. Please have some patience as they adjust to being open again and the new system. I went last night and everything was perfect!
Very unsatisfied. The food had no flavour. The tempura was thick and greasy. The teriyaki was watery and flavourless.

Im very happy I decided to try out this spot. Looks great on the inside. Service is attentive and attentive. The food quality is top tier. I cant wait to go back! My go to sushi joint in Milton. Ill probably take advantage of their takeout soon too!

Good food, bad service. I had to wait for over 20 minutes for someone to take our order when we were the only ones there. I got alot of different dishes when I ordered something similar. Ordered the California roll and got the deep fried California roll instead. Went for my daughters birthday, and I was ashamed that they treated us this way. I felt bad going there, but my daughter enjoyed herself.

The food is terrible the waiter a jerk. He was rude.. Tuesday May31@3:00 pm.. never going back ! He laughed at me when we said, if it s your bday will it be free! So rude! And he told us $32.99 per person, when in fact it s only $15.99. Pls be careful when you eat there.. always ask first
Not terrible, the restaurant itself looks nice inside but no music makes it feel quiet and awkward. Our server was very nice and patient with our table but our glasses to drink water from were chipped, and I found hair in my sushi twice. They were very apologetic about it but still turned me off from my meal. All you can eat is $35.99 per person, a little pricey in my opinion
A ran down sushi place and has not been updated or renovated probably since they first opened. Dont expect to get all in their website buffet menu its as old as their restaurant. A lot of them are no longer offered.

I went with my daughter on dinner last month, when I paid, I was charged diffetent rate 30% extra of All u can Eat dinner advertised on their memo, which surprised me and my daughter. Reason given was that our rate is changed. It was very disaapinting, cheated and unfair behaviour of owner. I strongly advise to community to bycott and do not support him.
My low rating is based on solely on appearance and customer service. The place not well maintained and didn t even have air conditioning. When we entered the staff was not friendly nor accommodating.

We went for all you can eat dinner with my wife and 2 boys (7 and 9) and our bill was $180. Seriously???!!! I could have gone to the Keg for that price. Food was okay but not great. Server was not friendly at all. He even tried to double charge us for the drinks. Not a pleasant experience. Their online menu gives the wrong prices. Will never go there again

Absolutely the worst. It s a Japanese Buffet which is fine but the ingredients weren t fresh and the avocado was almost spoiled. When we told them we couldn t eat it because it was awful they slapped us with an up charge and gave us a lecture about how we shouldn t order so much when we ordered very little. The rice was soggy, and all the ingredients blended together to taste particularly bad. All the meat tastes flat at best, at worse they hard very unpredictable after tastes like a random burst of ginger, despite no product mentioning it was made in ginger. Majority of the flavour comes from the complete drowning of its food in sauce. I was in shock after ordering what felt like half the menu, that half the menu tasted so bad. This is just a theory but I think majority of the food was prepared and the furthest thing from fresh, possible. I also am only guessing here, but the way food at very unpredictabile after tastes makes me suspect its all being stored together without much separation. The reason the place is bad is up for investigation but the fact its bad, is not. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. the staff were polite enough though, no complaints on either the place or service but at this point it kinda feels like being fed sawdust and being grateful it went down easy enough.

If I could give my experience less than one star, I would but google insists I click one star. I have been going to this restaurant in Milton since before the pandemic. I was happy with it as take out, but then mid pandemic the prices changed without notice or warning. As a result of this, as well as for the fact that they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE, we stopped going. Tonight we decided to give it another go, and this time inside. The price online was 23.99 for all you can eat and the restaurant closed at 9:30. This would give us just over an hour to dine, which felt like enough. When we got there, we were told they closed at 9 and that their website was old. Surprised, we still decided to stay for the 23.99 price and we re encouraged to order fast. We ordered, the server came to process the order and somehow erased it, so we had to start again, which resulted in duplicating orders for which we were later charged. The fatal flaw for this restaurant was that when the bill came, the price was 32.99 per person, now what was advertised online!!! We showed the website to the server, who got angry at us, claimed the website was 2 years old, and we were made to feel like this was somehow our fault!!! Now, we all know this. Any good business would immediately give you the 23.99 price, and hurriedly update their outdated website rather than blaming the customers. This is NOT what happened. While we were offered a small discount in a very angry way, we were also charged for the food we ordered and couldn t consume due to the rush from miscommunication online, and the server error. Honestly, Ajisai needs to jump into 2022. This is not how a responsible business operates or treats it s customers. We will never return and would never recommend it to anyone.
Ordered a volcano roll and spicy dynamite roll. I immediately lost my appetite just picking up food. Both tasted horrible!!! Please save your money, this place is definitely not worth trying out!
Seriously. The website pricing is wrong by $10 per person and no prices on menus. When asked- they just say that they have no one and its been wrong for 3 years. Food was not the best and Flies everywhere. Not recommended. I should have checked reviews before...
Update 2022/08 - All you can eat is no longer offered here.. Unfortunately a-la-carte sushi gets expensive. While I support their efforts to make money, a price for all-you-can-eat should always be an option at this level of restaurant (After all its not KI Sushi in downtown Toronto!). Unfortunately, I wont return here again. Great Sushi place and sashimi seems of reasonable quality.

Aji Sai is pretty hit and miss in my opinion, I ve gotten delivery through Uber and Skip a bunch of times and it s always different. Sometimes the portions are large and not fishy at all but other times the fishy smell is overpowering and the taste is off. They also don t put much of the crispy bits or spicy mayo in the rolls, it s mainly just the salmon and rice. You can see in these photos for example that the salmon inside the rolls is definitely a weird colour and it actually tastes funny and I couldn t eat much of it, but the Sake Sushi was great! I did also get the miso soup which is delicious as always but it is a smaller portions compared to other restaurants. These items plus delivery was just over $40 which is expensive in my opinion for such small portions. It s not always like this though which is unfortunate, sometimes it s delicious and huge! The mystery of what you re going to get makes me want to try a new sushi place instead sadly.
They have increased the price for a few months but not updating on the website. Dishes are not as shown on the menu, some with different ingredients, or even the potion is wrong. The chief will try to tell you its the same thing. At last, the taste is just soso.
Definitely not worth the money. Rice was wet and soggy. Miso soup hardly had any flavor, like it was watered-down and the sesame chicken was not fully cooked with a lot of fat in it
Not a great experience and extremely overpriced. Prices online are not updated. The server laughed when I mentioned the online prices that said $10 for 6 and under and $15 for 7- 12. (Online says under 6 is $10 and $15 for over 7 years and $24 for adults on a non prime night) much different prices when you arrive $15, $23 and $33 for adults) Very overpriced for the quality of food. Everything was very vinegar tasting. The server even laughed when he handed me the $140 bill (they now charge for green tea which they never used to). Used to be a lot better all around . It s gone downhill. Won t be going back here.

The server is so RUDE!!!!!! For the twice i eat in this restaurant nothing change how rude the waiters to us their has no patient. If you order a lot at all you can eat their gonna be rude at you i swear not once but twice i experience it here i will never come to this restaurant again and also my friend told to me that they experience the same!!!!!!

All you can eat sushi. Good food and service, but their prices have increased dramatically from $27 person for dinned on weeknight to $33 and they now serve their ice cream with plastic disposable spoons. Would still recommend this spot if you dont mind the prices.
We gave them a medium rating, I think thats enough, especially when the place is busy, they dont stand up to the pressure, I understand that, but let them think of hiring more workers for the weekend, maybe that will improve the situation.

They charged me 34.99 and advertised online for 24.99 Food was ok but not updating the website and not honouring the price is terrible
It was just ok. Its really just a place to grab convenient and quick sushi. Ordered the green salad and literally got just all greens. Not a slice of tomato with some shaved carrots. Nothing. Its literally a cut up lettuce thrown inside a stryo container. I guess what else can you expect from a place like this.
Low key spot to have some reasonably priced but delicious sushi! The roll with banana in it is to die for.

THEY HUNG UP ON ME. I used to go here ALL the time. I have spend HUNDREDS of $ here. I called to make reservations and they said takeout only. I asked when they d be doing dine in again and they said that s the owners decision and HUNG UP. I called back and they didn t answer. I shut off my caller ID and called back and the same person picked up and when I told them I wanted to place an order but was just hung up on, they said what s your order? I asked why they hung up on me and he YELLED WHATS YOUR ORDER and I asked again why he was being rude to me and he HUNG. UP. IM NEVER going here again, and I WILL be sharing this with everyone I know who goes here because there s a big group of us that used to go here. Completely disgusting service.
