This message is in response to the review below posted by Shireen Saleem. My husband and I were actually the table sitting beside you. We overheard your sons group scheming on how to complain to make our bill lower. The server respectfully explained to them they cannot discount a meal that was already eaten. Once you finally received your discount, we then overhead you celebrate and laugh we did it guys!. Furthermore, the staff was met with expletives while your group was exiting the restaurant, which was heard by everyone. Your son may not be the respectful young man you think he is

In response to Stella, I was at Cora s this morning with my family and I was aware of the situation happening, first of all you mentioned how you were sitting next to them, but they were sitting in a booth with no seating area next to them? And I also saw the two young boys head to the bathroom multiple times coming back with distraught looks on their faces mentioning how they vomited over and over again because of the food they had ate. On the way out an argument had started as a worker by the name of Taylor, unprovoked, gave a rude comment to them

Came for an early breakfast, according to google this place opens at 6am but at 6:11am there is no movement inside, did the open hours changed and have not been updated here?

It says they open at 6 am 6:25 am and im still waiting for them to open. They should update their opening time

Trash, trash service, trash food trash experience. Empty resto on Friday morning and cooked a breakfast skillet in record speed or just doesn t know how to sautée anything? I m by no means a cook but man was this disappointing, didn t know breakfast can taste so unsatisfying. Didn t take a picture but open your garbage can lid and you can get the idea. Server Laurie, want a waste of space. Wants to seat you next to the only other 4 people in the restaurant so you can eavesdrop on their conversations instead of having your own quiet space anywhere else in the restaurant. Lazy? Couldn t be bothered, she needs any job that requires no effort on her part. Not a bit of respect for Grand-mère Cora. Vraiment triste. But hey i got coffee off, strange though since the coffee machine delivered the most value.

Weve been going to Cora since they opened in Milton. Not once have I been disappointed. The food and service are very good. The restaurant is clean and neat. I can definitely recommend this Cora.

This is our favorite breakfast place. Spacious, amazing service and delicious breakfast. Theres alot on the menu but one of my favourite is their French toast, its one of the best Ive had.

Came for breakfast before work. Hours stated they are open at 6 am waited in parking lot till after six doors still locked. Only to be told by cleaning staff they dont open until 7 am. Heres a great idea change your hours on your website to avoid any confusion. Had to go eat at McDonalds

Uncooked mushroom and it is stale too old mushroom have been used and no support of restaurant is ready to compensate for this

Came here to try out a new breakfast place, but I will not be coming back. Service was very slow and the waitress was a little rude. I ordered a crepe and it was undercooked and the turkey sausages were subpar. Definitely do not recommened.

Great place for a lunch meeting with friends. We met here with folks from Mt. Brydges. We enjoyed good food, great service, and a prolonged visit. The staff said we could stay as long as we wanted. Very pleasant with the bottomless coffee. Highly recommend this restaraunt! Food

We visited 2 weeks ago and our server Alex was amazing! It was his first day and he did a great job handling our party of 10. Highly recommended, will definitely visit again!

Waiting time was a bit longer but the food tastes great and Im pretty sure my son loved it too!

I ve been to Cora s a few times. The service is excellent. I ve had the same waitress every time and she s wonderful. The food is also great, however, this time I found two hairs in my food and I got really grossed out and felt sick. On my way out I noticed the chefs were not wearing any kind of hair nets and had beards. I don t think I will ever go back unless they start wearing hair nets.

We had a large group come in and they were very accomodating. They were very friendly, fast and efficient.

Between 3 and 4 stars is fair for this place. Like most places now there is no prompt or professional greeting. I waited at the front to ask for a table for at least 10minutes. Mind you, they were a little busy and thats fine but at least say hi, be with you in a moment. Staff walked by constantly and never even bothered to say hi or greet us. Probably lacking strong leadership but hey youre probably only going to est breakfast so not the end of the World. Overall islts decent for the price.

I like their Mexican breakfast, Burrito crêpe, A delicious crêpe stuffed with eggs, a black bean patty, red and green peppers, onions, green onions and Cheddar cheese. Served with sour cream, salsa and potatoes. M second time having Mexican crepe and I enjoy it everytime. Our second dish was spinach Omelette and it was decent. Mocha was not good. It was like cheap a mocha. Coffee was like a gas station coffee but decent. I ended getting timmies after having breakfast here. Overall the restaurant has lots of space and tables but is very out dated. The ceiling has water damage and looks awful. The staff however are lovely.

Food was cold with no flavour. Coffee tasted like cigarettes and I didn t get what was shown on menu picture. Service was 20+ minutes to get food and it wasn t that busy. Disappointed and won t be back!

Ordered an eggs benedict it was below average the hollandaise sauce was not good was watery. Also ordered the spinach crepe it lacked taste and was not warm, ate it half and returned it. ( they did not charge us ) Then ordered a grilled sandwich which was ok! Servers are courteous! Need to work on the food taste.

If going there on the weekends or other busy mornings, it can take a long time to get seated and served. When weve been there for Breakfast/Brunch, service has been good (staff are friendly and attentive). The menu at Coras is extensive, so if you have picky eaters or a large group, theres probably something for everyone. The food is OK - years ago, you could always expect high quality food at Coras, but the consistency in food is not there anymore. Sometimes its great, other times its not. Vegetarian options: Some good vegetarian options such as Theos and the Vegetarian omelette (personal favourites). Vegetarian options are easily identified on the menu. Parking: Plenty of parking spots within the plaza

Regular visitor, had a post breakfast espresso and it was surprisingly good.

Very friendly staff. The food here is always good never a disappointment! . My favorite is the crepe they make it is very delicious. I always recommend this place. My kids LOVE it. Thank you for always being consistent and yummy :)

My wife and I went in to check out their all you can eat crepes what they dont tell you its PLAIN crepes. We decided to get something off the menu which we did. It arrived cold, even after I sent mine back it came back the same cold cheese not melted. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The waitress was the best part of the meal. This will be the last time we ever eat at Coras again

Love Cora s, and not one has disappointed, including this one. I order something different almost every time and enjoyed everything. Can t say enough for this place other than go.

I wish I can give this location a 0. Horrible service, missed up all of our orders and did not apologize. On top of that me and my husband got our food at different times because of their mistakes. Never coming back!

The service was so bad. 30min for coffee. 45min more for food. No coffee refills in our 2 hour visit despite asking. Eggs/meat were okay. The potatoes were completely undercooked.

Absolutely love this location! My friend and I always come for our brunch meetups with our kids who love the menu, and our young server Taylor has given us above and beyond service each time as well as is so friendly. Food is consistently good with pretty fruit decor! Only negative thing I can say is that the place is fairly cold but it s winter

I ordered for takeout from this location and the food was so good and fresh. Looking forward to my next visit.

Picked up $25 blueberry pancakes and they were incredibly raw batter inside. Called to ask if I can pick up another one and no one answers the phone as they re incredibly understaffed. Three hours later, spoke to someone who told me owner would call back. Owner never did. Very disappointing experience especially for the price. Go to Troy s for better service.

Isabella was FABULOUS! She was friendly and welcoming. It was her first day and she was knowledgeable about the menu. The food was deliscious and came pretty fast. Definitely coming back here.

Relaxed atmosphere, very good service, fresh and tasteful dishes. I jad theos omlette which was huge. Fruits creepe is more than what a single person can eat :-). Spic and span washrooms. Im going there again for sure. 4 starts because the servings looked slightly different from their pics in the menu but otherwise everything was good.

An ok brunch. I havent been to Coras in many years but I remember it being a lot more fresh and flavorful. I ordered a Jessica of 89 and it came out looking fantastic. My issues were that the crepe was really tough, barely any fruit inside, bacon was very thin, and the eggs must be extra small in size. The potatoes were great though! They could use a little more pan fried on the other side but it was tasty non the less, Im glad it wasnt deep fried. Staff were super nice and professional. The restaurant itself definitely needs to be cleaned more but this may have been due to a massive Saturday morning crowd as I came shortly after noon. For the price and taste of the food I unfortunately wont be back to Coras. Maybe its just this location so Ill have to try one closer to home. Sorry Coras!

NEW EDIT: No one picks up the phone at this location!! The online ordering adds service fee and no customization options so I m left with no choice to call them for a pick-up order. Have now called 15 times and yet no answer and mailbox is full. They certainly don t want your business. Food is mostly standard just like other franchise stores (except the scrambled eggs which are sad), but our experience tends to be compromised by the lack of customer service by some staff members, whose communication skills and attitude are disappointing.

My eggs were not tasty and my crepe had 3/4 of a banana, 1 strawberry and was super skimpy on the Nutella. Potatoes under cooked and not crispy at all.

My favorite breakfast place

I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you just want to eat the fruits from here. The food is absolutely terrible as is the customer service. My table had ordered a variety of different dishes some of which contained potato s and all of the potatoes were burnt. When asked about it we were told that s just the crisp of the potatoes . We also got egg and it was horrendous I could make a better egg at home. Over all a bad experience. Not just for our mouth but also our stomach we all felt like throwing up after getting home and had an upset stomach.

This is a fine restaurant with consistently good.

The branch can do well with some more staff, especially on weekends. Initial seating took some time while the place also do not take reservations. The quality of food was good and servings were generous. However, what came as a surprise was an additional gratuity for a large group (4 adults and 4 kids). A decent place for a small town. Have had better service at other branches though.

Its just a Cora: lots of choice for breakfast with lots of dishes. Sometimes less is more...

Do not eat here. I took my mother to this location this morning and found hair in my food. When I showed the waitress I told her I didn t want my plate and my mother refused hers. She snapped at us saying we have to pay for my mothers food even though we were both disgusted and my mom only took two bites before we stopped. I paid the bill which was a plate and a coffee. I didn t tip, and told the waitress I don t need the receipt, she then threw the receipt into the bread basket. I m Not sure how to speak to management, I would like someone to respond/ reach out.

I really like Cora s. This is the only one in Milton which is why it can be busy during popular times. I order the same thing every time and it s consistently good and as I crave and expect.

Service was ok, but unfortunately the food I was served (which was not great) made me sick almost immediately after returning home. Thankful my kids pancakes were ok but I m still struggling 2 days later, having to run to the washroom almost every time I eat. Obviously this is not the experience for most people but I would not recommend.

Zero stars if possible! I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone. Ordered 3 scrambled eggs and got what looked like one egg that wasnt made as scrambled eggs. Discovered this when i opened the order on pick up. Callef to complain about my order and was hung up on mid conversation, no apologies whatsoever. Just plain rude defiance on the phone. Terrible food and service!!!

Dont go to this location Sunset grill is much better. Ordered 3 eggs and got absolutely close to nothing. This is like a scam. When we called was hung up on the phone. That is just plain rude. We were told many complain about this. Then something should be done! Very rude.

My son and I came here again after 5 years and he loved the waffle. Restaurant is good in accommodating changes as per our taste bud. Thank you Cora for making my morning date special and bringing smile on little ones face.

Worst potatoes of any restaurant ever, each time I come here they are cold and mushy. Learn how to fry potatoes!!! I ordered a BLT with home fries. They do not have sliced cheese, bread was not toasted and over buttered, the sandwich fell apart and the tomatoes were green. I asked to return my meal and they didn t ask why or if they could fix it. They just accepted that it was poorly cooked. I don t know how they stay in business. I keep coming back because my gran likes and I keep expecting the bad meals were a one off but it is every time. Never never again. All you do is breakfast and brunch, you should be stellar at it. I cook better breakfast at home.

Food was ok, nothing special. You paying $25 a person for 2 eggs and some bacon with potatoes. At other local places they charge 7.99 for 3 eggs , more bacon and better softer home fries. I dont understand why the prices are like that .

Cant even share my experience cuz I couldnt even make it through past the front desk. Waited ten minutes to be seated in a very empty resteraunt, along with another family in front of me. No one came to the door to great me and show me a table. Few other waitresses saw us but walked right past. I ended up leaving because if it took that long for someone to even notice customers were waiting, imagine how long it would take to get my food.

Very busy location on a late Sunday morning. Waitress was friendly and knowledgeable on menu items. Food order came out accurate and fairly fast considering how many people were in the restaurant. The Cora s menu is very extensive and almost has too many options, as it was hard to decide what to order. The bacon was not great, tasted like cheap, fake bacon from frozen vs. proper strip bacon not from frozen. Potatoes were nice, slightly underdone. Scrambled eggs seemed like they started making them fried and then remembered they were meant to be scrambled and just chopped up the already friend eggs. I was expecting them to be a bit more creamy and fluffy, yellow scrambled vs. white and yellow crispy scrambled if that makes sense? (seen better in photos). I would recommend a different breakfast chain such as Sunset Grill, as if they can t do the basics correctly (ie eggs and bacon), you re better off going somewhere else).

Extremely disappointed yet AGAIN. We are long term 2x week customers for a table of four. This is the fourth occasion coming here and recieving mould on my fruit for breakfast . Simply unacceptable and I highly recommend not wasting your money. Sent it back and did not receive any apology or refund . Servers are great but thats only part of a $80 breakfast . I will be reaching out to head office.

Worst. Waited 40 mins. No service. 2 waitresses. Old waitress said the young waitress will serve us. Young waitress said the old waitress will serve us. Both were wrong. Old waitress at least apologized on our way out. No manager on site. Shane if you re reading this I m waiting on your call. On a happier note drove 4 mins to Egg Smart and got seated and served within 10 mins. Delicious. Fresh Orange juice service with a smile extra napkins unlimited jam packets - had 2 bacon strips then substituted 2 sausages for 2 more bacon strips. That s 4. Wife is vegetarian so copped her 2 bacon strips no charge no issues. That s 6 bacon strips total. Living in a f n lap of luxury Editors Note: our table was allocated to the younger waitress.

Coras food quality has gone down throughout the years. The food you order isnt the same as presented on their menu, which can be misleading and disappointing. However, rating 3 star as service was great.

This place is so bad. None of the employees care. Picked up a food order and missing my bread, ketchup, jam and butter. The person at the door said sorry I am new ??? New ?? How dumb are the people you hire that cant look at a receipt that says BREAD etc. I had to drive all the way back. Food cold now. They didnt care. Asked for manager and she said to complain online. Ok so I am but she didnt care either. I asked her why dont you do the takeout since this kid looks like he should be home playing video games in moms basement. She could care less . How is this place still open ?

I often come here with my kids. The service was fine till today. All the kids orders were messed up. Had to ask for coffee refill. Used to be really good with their service but today just too upsetting. I hope it was only a one time thing. Otherwise I have to find another place for our outing.

Cora restaurants Milton, ON, Canada Today after long time we went Coras Milton location for Breakfast.The breakfast brunch was great,food was absolutely wonderful,coffee and Mango Banana Smoothie The large bowl of fresh fruit was also generous and perfectly ripe. A very good experience! I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress Lilian.She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She recognized that we visit after long time due to current situation and did not rush us. Thank you so much Lilian and all staff who take care of customers and At check in they gave us questionnaire and Screening process for Covid-19. Thanks.

Pricy but good food

Orders were messed up! Tea was barely lukewarm and upon request, we didn t even get hot water. Pathetic.

We couldn t even open the door, we had to call the restaurant to do it, like we re not gonna rob your place or anything the services are so late!! We only asked for 2 platers, and it took 1 hour, and we literally wasted our time since the food was trash too!!!! I do not intend to come back to this pathetic place again!!!

Highly disappointed Dont know but this time i really wanted to shout on the server Tea served was cold and was served before breakfast Then a long wait..finally breakfast was served....without toast Again waited for toast,,,,literally showered in butter We requested to replace potatoes with tomaotes We got potatoes...again asked for tomatoes and we were served cold raw tomatoes.like come on.how much time would it take to grill the tomatoes. Then we requested to replace ham and cheddar cheese with fruits and the reply we got was..WE WILL CHARGE EXTRA.... Thanks for ruining our breakfast mood

Had a fantastic breakfast today, the staff was so friendly and will have to come back to try other things on the menu. Our server Lillian helped us out with the menu when we couldnt decided on what to get while making sure we had coffee. :) Very glad they take covid screening seriesly.

First time dining in Coras since March 2020. The 2 wait staff working this morning were super friendly. The food was just as delicious as I remembered it . I love the screening prior to entry. Thank you for doing your part in keeping the community safe.

We made a reservation, she messed it up and gave our table to someone even though we were there on time. Really disappointed, we came here all the time.

Pretty disappointed to order a skillet with eggs and only one egg comes with it. Many other breakfast restaurants do at least 2 to cover the skillet. Tasted good but small portions.

Every Sunday we ( my family) enjoy to have breakfast outside. We choose Cora because of variety of dishen..fresh fruit and friendly personal. But today wad not the casa. As a FAMILY restaurant there are always kids..and people talking on the tables..etc. One of the employees had approach to our table ( not in the best way) asking us to speak not so loud and to lower the volume of out phone which we wore in a video call with my daughters grandmother. Again the place is good but this lady had ruined our breakfast time .!!!

They gave you huge portions almost too much food. Its absolutely delicious. Service was great

This Coras allows people to enter and walk around without having a mask on. Even though it s posted you are required to wear one. Enter at your own risk. This was seen personally today.

One of the amazing places I used to have breakfast in Milton The theo omelette was ok but not amazing. Like I can do it at home but my kid omelette the spinach was great The place is depressing. Like I feel I want to just eat and go. No music no spirit. Very calm and boring In general it is still one of my favourite spots in Milton

I wish I could remember what I ordered but I completely forgot! It was SUPER yummy though! I wouldn t go to Cora on the regular but it is a nice treat!

Waiter never asked me if I wanted my steak medium or rare and she assumed it I like it well done. The potatoes were undercooked with no flavor but the coffee was good.

I like this place. I went for brunch with my wife and 2 year old son at 11AM on a Saturday just before Christmas. We were seated right away and the hostess brought over a booster seat instead of a high chair which my son thought was the coolest thing ever. Our food came out lightning quick, it was tasty and I dont think our coffees ever dropped below half full before our server came and topped them up. The real winner is that my son ate everything in site; pancakes, home fries, bacon and cantaloupe. If hes occupied, my wife and I can enjoy our meals too; which we certainly did. The employees were polite, the food came out quick and we enjoyed ourselves. I dont think theres much more you can ask for.
