Holiday Lunch! Don t hesitate. It s perfect and delicious. Steak & eggs and French toast.

Really nice place. We enjoyed the live music and the service. 3D They do have some tables in front of the door. Try to avoid those if possible during the cold nights. No complaints from our group about the food. Would definitely go back.

This place will treat you like gold. It s not cheap but for a reason, the food is lovely and the servers are quick and kind.

We went to this place because of the 4.8 star reviews but got very disappointed unfortunately. First of all, the atmosphere was nice. Its not a fine dining restaurant, but we were willing to spend the money on the expensive menu to be at the place with a good vibes. However, the food wasnt outstanding as it presented on the plate. Our cold octopus appetizer was very spicy and most of the spicyness was from a chilly paste which to me straight up blended chilly with minimum to no seasoning. The most disappointing part was the 10oz steak that we ordered rare and came out almost well done. We told the servers about it and they offered us a slice of cheese cake on the house to fix the issue with the steak. Maybe we should have straight up asked for a discount and moved on but we thougbt a expensive place like that wouls know how to handle the situation porperly. In my experience restaurants that claims to be a steak house, charge $75 for a steak and cook it completely wrong should never make the customer pay full price for it but we got a slice of cheese cake that properly costs the restaurant a few dollars. Now this might be because the servers didnt want to bring this up to the management because discount means smaller bills and smaller tips. We still paid full price, left 20% tips just to show that money is not the key thing here. Its about how to make the customers happy. Really hope that the management will handle this properly with other customers.

Im leaving this review simply because I don t want anyone else to be misled by these high ratings. We were expecting much more coming here, and while the atmosphere on the patio was great, the remainder of our experience left much to be desired. The waitress was disinterested and service was lacking much in the way of hospitality. The food was sub par, with the steaks significantly thinner, smaller, and not nearly as tender as one would expect in a steakhouse environment. Spend your money elsewhere.

We went last night for our 27th Wedding Anniversary and have been before and love it. Food is amazing and the waitress & waiters so personable, professional, great service. Set by the piano bar so romantic. Love going for special occasions will definitely be back again.

Chef Serdjo is an absolute legend in the kitchen. Him and the staff were amazing and I d recommend this place to anyone looking for an elite dining experience.

I truly do not know how to articulate my appreciation for this place. Buckle in because this is going to be long! Came here to celebrate a very special event with my husband and right off the bat we were made to feel so comfortable. Gary took such good care of us, Shannon who was making our drinks was simply lovely and made an EXCELLENT old fashioned, and Sergio the owner and head chef spent time talking to us and really made our evening. Just a really great bunch of people paired with delicious food that clearly has a lot of thought and love put into it, and a wonderful atmosphere. Will 100% be coming back again and again and again. I truly hope everyone supports this place because it is a true gem built on nothing but love. Did I mention the food was amazing???? Oysters were fresh, meat was super flavorful and tender, the cod was cooked to perfection and literally melted in our mouth, the dessert was *chefs kiss*. A perfect balance of flavors!

Went for a friends birthday and all I can say is WOW!!! The food was out of this world! The staff were great and the chef even came out at the end to see how everything was. I would definitely go again.

Exceptional fine dining! The menu is fantastic with so many delicious options. This was our first time and we were so impressed by the flavours and quality. I enjoyed the sea bream with Chimichurri and my husband had an expertly seared tenderloin with delicious accompaniments. The staff were also so friendly and kind and we enjoyed some fun conversation and their recommendations and options for my ten year old son. It s a beautiful restaurant with amazing style and ambience and the pianist playing live music added to our enjoyment and evening. Can t wait to go back!! Kid-friendliness: My son had the option of a freshly made cheese pizza or pasta with sauce. He also devoured the fresh bread!

I had the pleasure of having dinner last night on the new outdoor rooftop patio that has just opened up. The oysters were amazing the live music was even better. And of course the steak never disappoints 13/10 every time! If you are looking for a casual spot this summer, yet still want the elegance of this beautiful spot, I highly recommend. They ve done an impeccable job with this patio. You can hear the birds sing along with live music and get gourmet food served to you as you watch the sun go down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We celebrated Valentines day. It was OK, but too pricey for what it was. You have too book on their website with a credit card, which is fine, but then when we went there, we were told that their is only prix fixed menu for about $150 per person. That was classic Bait and Switch. One of the appetizers was half of a cherry tomato, with tiny pieces of mozzarella. 1 per person. Which was more suitable for an April 1st celebration, then Valentines. Will not go there again

First time: Dining here was lovely, had my fathers birthday dinner & sat outside on their back patio. Great food, great service! Second time: The food was good, service was WAY to rushed (was a new years eve dinner, but still they should staff appropriately). HOWEVER, when I contacted management they handled it appropriately and therefor I would still recomend them, just maybe not on a holiday. The staff is very polite, even when I had the complaint the manager had a positive attittude and had a warm personality.

Food is absolutely amazing! So flavourful and very good portions. Service is great and the ambiance is wonderful. Very well decorated, and the live music is so nice! It is a little on the expensive side compared to some other restaurants, but you get what you pay for. Well worth it. Have been twice and will be back!

We had high expectations but the food is simply not worth the price. Rating each item below: - special of the day (sea bass): fish was fry and chewy and rice and veggies weren t any thing special - flat iron steak - steak was alright, lacked salt but the veggies were too salty - beef carpaccio - decent but could be more juicy

Food was amazing, service was great and the ambience was awesome. Very quiet when we went in, only 2 other tables, open kitchen and nice decor. The appetizers and entrees were very well done and the home bread was delicious. Pricing is reasonable considering quality :)

Had the A5 Japanese Wagyu (kobe) tenderlion and it was phenomenal. The live music was an amazing touch to the evening with guitar upstairs and piano on the main floor. Will definitely be back and recommend this place for a nice evening out.

Pretentious would be one word to describe this restaurant. You would think it was a Michelin star restaurant but yet they are not. Drinks are watered down I got a whisk sour and couldnt even taste the alcohol, 400 dollar meal for 2 and gratuity was added automatic with no option. For a high bill like that where does the madness stop.

Food was incredible. The duck was the best I have ever had. Everything was delicious right down to the vegetables. Gary, our server was professional and knowledgeable especially with the food allergy we had. Made for a perfect date night with the hubby and the piano playing topped it off. Awesome steak house! Appetizers octopus, Caesar and baked Brie all fantastic! Octopus was the best though lol Ribeye with Stilton special perfect! The food - awesome. Had Ribeye steak, perfect 10/10! Reasonably priced @$79 for 10oz. The problem was that they forgot we had ordered! It was about 25-30 minutes after the table next to us (arrived 20 minutes after us) got their order that I got impatient and asked about the status of our steak. They did not admit that they messed up, instead one server told us that it will be ready in 5 minutes and that they dont precook anything to save time. Meanwhile, I am looking inside the kitchen and I saw that after our enquiry, the chef started cooking, realizing that they messed up (judging by expressions). Anyways, we ordered another one and that one came in after 12 minutes; only as delicious and as tender, perfectly made. They did offer us a complimentary sweet dish, i guess as a gesture, but I wasnt impressed regardless, with the service. During the wait time, no one cared to ask why we were just sitting on an empty table for 45 minutes without having ordered any Entrees. So yeah, food 10/10, service - lukewarm.

The food was not bad, appetizer (tuna, ceviche) and main course (tenderloin) were to our liking, however, atmosphere was disappointing, they need to improve their decor. Wine glasses were dirty. Tables are way too close to each other, you are sitting inches to the people next to you. Cocktail glasses looked like they re from dollar store. We had set menu and they ran out of our first choice items. The most shocking occurrence was, when one of the employee carried the bags of trash through the restaurant when people were having dinner. Musicians were very lovely, good choice repertoire.

The best restaurant in town! We had our wedding reception here and it was by far the most perfect evening ever! No matter what you order you wont be disappointed. Great service, great food and wonderful people!

Let me preface this review by saying I am older and been to many steak houses in the area and through my travels. Last night wow!!! What an amazing night!!! Awesome food , atmosphere and stellar service. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone . The chef is a maestro, every plate was like a piece of art. The desserts were clever in presentation . I had the deconstructed Black Forest with real fresh cream and berries. Appetizers where just the right size and thoughtfully plated, and the Black Cod main was done perfectly. My husband had the tenderloin- again perfect. Incredible food and wonderful atmosphere,. We will be back for sure with friends too. I want to see the second floor and hear some live music. Thank you Marquee staff for a perfect evening!!!

I visited Marquee s new location for the first time and it was incredible. Everything from the service to the meal was perfect. I ve never before left a place and had every staff member say goodbye, they re so genuinely kind! I highly recommend Marquee, you won t be disappointed!

The Marquee steakhouse is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are all very professional and the food is delicious. I had the wild boar and it was very tasty. I would recommend it for celebrating a special occasion or just catching up with friends. Dietary restrictions: I am gluten-free and they accommodated the options for me

My son had his rehearsal party at The Marquee Steak House. I just can t say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we walked in, we were taken to the rendezvous point for the wedding party at the back of the restaurant, welcomed by the staff and served a drink. As everyone rolled in, they were served drinks and it wasn t long before about five plates of h ors d oerves were served. They were crazy delicious. The dinner was equally delicious and the service was non stop. If you are planning a special function or just going out for a special meal, I would absolutely recommend the Marquee.

Food was really great, and a Malbec wine paired well with the steaks. I liked the comfortable seats and spacing between guests.

Perfect ambiance for a special date night, birthdays, and anniversaries. Highly recommend the steak. I had the filet mignon, and my date had the t-bone. So much flavour, one of the best Id ever had. The gentleman on piano was great. Really like the windows out to the street and the patio option. We would definitely go again. P.S. Im really glad we had cash to tip the piano player. Live music really makes a night feel extra special.

Never ate here wanted to but the chef is a real a hole was outside like 60 feet from there restaurant having a smoke and got verbally and physically assaulted by this old guy that I persume is the cook there old guy and this ugly blonde waitress threatening me that hes a boxer and will knock me out for smoking on a public sidewalk dont recommend this place most unprofessional people Ive ever came across

Wow. I have been fortunate enough to dine in some very fine establishments in my time experiencing great food, service and atmosphere. Marquee Steakhouse is up there in best of the best. My wife and I visited for the first time to celebrate and service was fantastic, attentive but not overbearing. The food was outstanding. I have the 10oz striploin, cooked to perfection - but enhanced by the jus and sides. My wife had the lobster ravioli - which she did not share with me! She loved it. We had a couple of great cocktails and a glass of wine from the well selected wine list. The design and atmosphere is sophisticated but relaxed. Just perfect. I cannot believe we have not visited here before. But will be the go to place of choice for us from now on. Really, really well done to the team at Marquee for making our celebration that little bit better!

Excellent fine dining meal.

We were absolutely blown away by not only the food, but the service, as well as the ambiance of the new location. We had a not-so-great experience with Marquee Steakhouse over 6 years ago and had not been back since. However, it was my husbands birthday and since he loves steak, I decided to give Marquee another try at their new location. We were so glad we did. The food was cooked to perfection, the plating was like no other, and the service was impeccable - Joey was kind, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. All staff welcomed us upon our arrival and thanked us as we left. The cocktails were delicious. Lastly, as we were walking to the parking lot, Joey came out after us with an absolutely delightful Chocolate truffle to try, advising us that they are thinking of providing these to customers at the end of their meal. They were absolutely melt in your mouth and our feedback was given. My husband and I could not have had a better experience and look forward to coming back again shortly. Thank you for an absolutely top-notch experience from start to finish.

My Wife and I went here for our 10 year wedding anniversary recently and had an awesome experience. The waiter was very kind, and informative on all the menu options. The octopus was the best we ve had. The steak was : take one bite, but fork and knife down, enjoy every chew, then take next bite. We already have plans to go back together and she has gone with girlfriends since.

We went on April 2/22. Made reservations will in advance. We were sat at this tiny bistro type table in front of the bar. Absolutely not enough room for plates and glasses. The two bistro tables beside us turned over while we were waiting for our food. They ended up getting their dinner before us. When our dinner did arrive the wait staff had a hard time finding the space on our little table to put the plates. Although the food was good, the experience ruined that.

Very good food and service. This place is a welcome addition to downtown Milton. It is difficult to get a table so reservations are recommended. The food is pricey, but worth it; the counter is that the wine is reasonable. The menu is small but they carry numerous off-menu specials. Had the Char off the menu and it was cooked perfectly, not overcooked, and flavourful.

Fantastic from drinks to steak to dessert and cappuccino! Yes its pricey but you get what you pay for! Very attentive staff.

Wonderful Dinner & Drinks Made Perfectly!

My husband and I were very disappointed. The level of racism was unbelievable. If youre white you wouldnt see it. Seeing the only other visible minority couple being seated at the back of the restaurant away from other patrons brought the racism to light. The micro agressions were subtle. When the other patrons, who were all white received thick steaks and great cuts and my husband received a thin grisly steak that did not measure up to the steak that my friend had received when we went a time before. The selection on the menu was poor. Definitely a meal for 2 not worth 250.00 and we will definitely not be going back. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

I love this place! I received a gift card as a present, and boy am I thankful I did. The new location has the perfect ambience. Our server was kind, and the food delicious. The only downside was that the cocktails are just okay, which I find is often the case in the suburbs. I got the duck confit which was perfectly cooked. Months later, and I still think about it. A fantastic night out. If you re thinking about going, just go.

We live in Southamerica and it is the second time we come to Milton to go to Marquee. The food is fantastic. Every dish we had was just perfect. The service is amazing. We will keep coming back in our future travels.

Great food and service. Bob the pianist is very talented player as well as singer. My wife had the Carred Cod. It was A1. I had the Rib Eye special. Medium rare was done to perfection with only one thing to improve. The steak wasnt sizzling hot. It was, I would say very warm. But tasted great. Would recommend, and will return.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The restaurant is a nice setting and well decorated, but the food is terribly overpriced and not what we expected. I decided to go with the special which was a bone-in porterhouse steak for $89. The steak was large, as in it covered a lot of the plate, but it was only as thick as my pinky finger. It came with mashed potatoes a carrot and 2 asparagus. The steak was also quite fatty. For the price I was expecting a thick juicy steak on a bone. I don t think there was a bone in it. Certainly not worth the money and definitely not fitting the description from the waitress. I should have sent it back, but we waste enough food in the world. I booked without reading the menu, impressed by the photos on the website and the positive reviews, but won t do that again. I cannot recommend this restaurant as fair value.

Great food for brother in laws birthday

I have the most fabulous experience here, everytime. Ever since they moved to the new location on Main, I just cant get enough. My last visit was perfect. Our server, Josh, made the evening memorable with his crafted cocktails, charm and professionalism. The food was superb and the ambiance is romantic. 10/10 recommend.

Dinner was fantastic, atmosphere fantastic, and Diana & Justin with the live entertainment was the cherry on top it just made the entire evening amazing listening to them! I would love it if you posted on IG when they are going to be entertaining for dinner because I will 100% go to have a great meal and great live music.

Went here on a Thursday with my wife because I heard there was live blues music....ambience was perfect, service amazing...had the Mahi Mahi....woooow delicious, music (live entertainment) was incredible...owner came out and did a jam session . ..blown away...a amazing Thursday night , thank u Marquee ( Loza was amazing ...lol)

I reserved a large section in the piano lounge for my husbands 50th birthday. We were a party of 14 and each and every one of us was extremely happy with our experience. Our server (Gary) was so friendly and warm. The pianist/singer seemed to know all of our favorite songs. I had excellent communication with Diana during the planning stage. And the food!!! So delicious. They have the BEST Ceasar salad. The braised rabbit ravioli was so good, Ill be thinking about it for a long time. The duck confit was also very good, but the beef tenderloin...WOW. It was melt in your mouth delicious. My son was trying to eat it slowly so he could savour every bite. For dessert, we had the crème brulée and the chocolate torte. Also delicious! We are already planning our next special occassion.

Not impressed, and sadly disappointed! This place came highly recommended by someone who came here for a private party. We had reservations for 8:45pm, despite that we showed 5 mins late they told us our table was not ready and sat us at the bar. Shortly thereafter we were seated, where they told us was the best seat of the house we would later learn that was not true. We ordered our appetizers which are overly priced, $25 dollars for 1 small tail of Octopus that was not enjoyable because it was over spiced. Then $24 for a flat bread that was cold and over cooked. $24 for Boston lettuce - literally whole Boston leafs with a few cranberries and Dijon mustard, this is fine dinning??? We waited over an 1hr just for apps, then did not get our mains until 10:10pm ( we literally were the last people to be served ) in a table for 2. After patiently waiting for our food, the head chef, cook and other staff members eating dinner at the bar right in front of our table - speaking loud and complaining about how busy service was tonight. Talk about killing the ambience for anyone trying to celebrate or having a romantic meal! Clearly this restaurant should just cater to private parties and events, because it seemed that is whom they prioritize. Lucky they are in Milton, this restaurant would not survive In Toronto! Will NOT recommend or be a returning customer. But if you want to throw $330 for 2 people, this is the place you want to come to!

One of my absolute favourite restaurants. Their meal kits and take out are incredible as well and great options during this lockdown. We cannot wait for Marquee to open back up. The staff are great, the food is amazing and the ambience in the restaurant (live music etc.) is perfect. There is no other restaurant like this one in Milton.

Extraordinary. An elite standard by which you judge the rest of Miltons restaurants. Staff was exceptional, the atmosphere posh and the food....outstanding! Can forget to mention the talented piano player also. Well worth it!

The food is perfect, the service is amazing. I ll never forget my first time dining there (years ago) when my kids were little and after a long day we randomly walked in, not being familiar with the area restaurants yet. My heart instantly fell, and we almost walked back out because I thought there was no way my picky emotionally anxious kid could get the only meal he ever eats outside the house . And sure enough, the menu did not have his usual, so we took a chance on a simple chicken and potatoes dish. I really dreaded the scene when it would arrive, and yup, right on cue, my kid got teary and anxious when he saw it. So I have no idea how this waiter managed unfazed composure & to convince my kid they they ll take the dish back and fix it. I think they ended up moving the meat and potatoes apart? Or getting rid of the potatoes al together? And somehow that made all the difference. But they were so kind the whole time, with perfect optimism that they d figure it. I just need that server to know that on that day, when the whole family s nerves were frayed, we left not only fed with the best meal, but also lighter in spirits.

My husband booked us a spot here for our Anniversary, and the time spent here with him was absolutely worth it. Joey our server got us to eat like he would with his amazing recommendations on the drinks and food. Everything was soooooo good, yall have a damn good menu. Best part was getting info from Joey that its locally owned and around for 9 yrs. We look for locally owned places. Loved the purple potatoes . Wish you guys only the best and we will definitely return with more friends and family. Thank you for an amazing visit Joey and team. And the house made chocolate for our anniversary Yum yum yummy steak, drinks, fries and veggies. Everything was just so good. Please go away covid

Absolutely amazing!! We came here on a Friday night and after reading all the positive reviews we had to try it, and I m so glad we did! The steaks were soooo delicious, the 10oz New York steak special with the compound butter is to die for!! My boyfriend and I kept saying how it s the best steak we ve ever had, and probably the best restaurant we ve ever been too, we couldn t stop talking about how amazing this place is all weekend!! 10/10 food, 10/10 service, and the price (which may seem expensive) is 1000% worth it. We are definitely coming back with other friends and family. Thank you Marquee for the unreal dinner and overall experience!

Always a treat to experience the amazingly tasty creations from the chef. The staff are warm and friendly to help top off this fine dining experience. Having dined at several Michelin starred restaurants I have to say Marquee is par with them.

We celebrated a birthday at Marquee after a great recommendation. Marquee adheres to the COVID guidelines with face shields, distanced seating and cleanliness. The food was fantastic! We started off with Caesar Salad which was just the way we like it, creamy, cold and extremely tasty. We may return just for their salad! We continued with steak and lamb. Wonderful! They complimented us with dessert which was a nice touch. Great flavors and shall return.

Great food and atmosphere! Best steak that I had in a long time! The staff and waitstaff were always on top of things and to keep your glass filled up! We were there for a wedding reception and had a super time!

Great atmosphere and ambience; live music is expertly done. Everyone was friendly and you feel well attended to. The menu has a medium size selection of items and the food is fantastic. Very flavorful, good portions and well presented. Highly recommend the ribeye and striploin- cooked to perfection. Also a large wine list.

Wonderful pianist performed blind. The octopus soft like melted chewing gum. Steak was above average cut, delicious and flavorful. Seafood Linguine was an abomination: half cooked noodles soaked in veggie soup.

Wonderful place for a romantic date night. The space is smaller than I anticipated but adds to the intimacy and ambiance. It was easy to book a reservation over the phone I then received an email confirmation right away. I also received a reminder prior to our dinner. While at the restaurant the staff was attentive and gracious. We ordered the calamari, steak dinner a pan seared fish and 3 cocktails. My husband asked for medium done steak but it was a bit underdone. We ended up paying $180 for our meal which was a bit pricey for the number of things we ordered. The pianist for the night was visually impaired and did a wonderful job. I was impressed with both his skills on the piano and his vocal abilities. Overall we had a great experience and will visit again when they move to their new location on Main Street.

Been here twice within the past 2 months. I wouldnt call this place a steakhouse. I would think it is more like a bistro lounge. That might be a better name. Both times Ive been here, Ive ordered the chefs special which has been different both times. First time was a ribeye and mushroom pasta. Second time was a Hungarian style goulash served with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Love the cocktail names - named after singers. The restaurant has a lounge vibe, with live music on the weekends. The staff was very friendly and seemed to be very accommodating given our familys food allergies.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. We went there yesterday for dinner and to listen to entertainer Laura Fernandez. It was our second time at Marquee. Although the food was EXCELLENT, the place was so noisy that it ruined the entire evening. We felt bad for Laura who is a great musician / singer but could hardly be heard over the dinner conversations in the fully packed venue. We got so frustrated, we left immediately after we finished dinner and did not get to hear more of what we came for. Hopefully when they relocate, the acoustics will be better suited to a piano lounge vs. a steak house.

I had dinner here with my fiance and my cousin a couple of weeks ago. Wow!! Food was delicious and the drinks are named after singers. I had the lobster capellini (amazing). My fiance had the ribeye (he said it was one of the best steaks he has ever had) and my cousin had the goulash (she loved it). nice

Beyond impressed. My boyfriend and I went last night and everything was delicious, even the salad! As soon as we walked in we were greeted, seated and given water and the other drinks we ordered. The staff 10/10, atmosphere 10/10, pianist 10/10, food 10/10.

Went for the 1st time tonight after nearly 10yrs of living in Milton and hearing so many rave reviews. 1st year anniversary called for a special night out, especially during COVID. We were so happy with the service Joey provided and cant say enough about the food. We will be back!

Phenomenal. I cant say enough good things about this restaurant. The ambiance is perfect. Great for a first date or an evening out with family and friends. The menu has something for everyone. I recommend the Caesar salad (trust me) to get your taste buds racing and then any one of the main dishes. All are a home run. I had the special beef ribs and lets just say fall of the bone has never been truer. Just go, you wont regret it at all

We ordered steak, chicken and halibut fish. All dishes were prepared to perfection. Food was flavouful and delicious. We enjoyed it so much. Live entertainment was an added touch to the perfect evening

Okay it was my first time trying the duck confit and I was amazed! It was so delicious and just melted in your mouth. I was savouring every bite. The restaurant setting is nice, staff does a great job!
