Great place to eat. I had chicken on the rocks this afternoon and it was the best meal I ve ever had.

Fantastic experience, great taste and incredible service by Chef Wagih. Loved the Ribeeye steak!

Been here 4 times now with my friends, it s our go to spot for the best steaks! It s a one man show, can t believe how quick he is, I came with 7 of my friends and we all had our food within 20 mins, steaks, fries, rice, salads, shawarma, everything. Every single steak cooked perfectly, and the steak sauce is soooo good, highly recommend this spot! Plus the owner is hilarious!

Great food, very surprised on how delicious the steak was! Portion was good and taste was amazing. Definitely recommend. The gentleman working there was by himself but did a phenomenal job hosting us and cooking delicious meals in a quick time.

Second visit was with family. Rib eye steak with pepper sauce is always a must have. Tried the grilled Salmon, had too much salt but made well. Spaghetti Bolognese was a bit bland but the meat in it was yummy. Chicken shawarma wrap was very delicious. A great place to enjoy good halal meat. Love the chefs smile and attitude

Amazing place to dine! The food was absolutely incredible for very reasonable prices. The gentleman who served us was a joy, extremely kind and funny and made sure we got our food to our exact liking. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys mediterranean cuisine!

Amazing food. The chef/owner does it all. He is very friendly and checks in on you as he juggles everything else. Salad was delicious and the portion wasnt massive like most places do. Just small and so flavorful. We will definitely be returning again. The steak was to die for.

We order from Hood and Grill all the time. We used to go in and pick it up. My friend behind the counter is a man sent from heaven when our daughter was diagnosed with cancer he listened to my fears, and consoled me. Then he offered me and the family a free in house dinner so he could visit with us while we enjoyed his cooking. We usually get chicken on the rocks and two of the freshest salads in the country. Tonight we ordered delivery and again perfection, perfect dinner perfect salad, a few places could learn something from this man about freshness. Tonight i finished my whole dinner most nights i cant finish it, theres so much. This man is a credit to Milton, and our community. Definitely go and enjoy his food.

The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and absolutely the best steak I ve had in a while. The shawarma was delicious, and the sauces were I incredibly well prepared. Wagih was lovely, and we will definitely be coming back.

Parents and I visited here recently and had an excellent experience. We ordered steaks and each was cooked perfectly to our liking and the owner was very friendly and more than happy to re-do the steaks if we werent happy with them. The restaurant space is humble but we could see a lot of care was put into making sure everything was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Amazing Egyptian food, I always crave their chicken shawarma dish with rice and the garlic sauce is to die for. I also love the Egyptian mango nectar drink. Great service, friendly, and cozy atmosphere. I recommend it.

Best shawarma in town no doubt

Nice location with car parking right across the street. Halal option, clean, nice atmosphere, nice music volume and selection, the decor is not too fancy, but wow, wow, WOW! Very delicious also gentle on your pockets when compared to other places. I wish there were more veggie sides.. quantity wise, that is to be clear. BUT, forget all I said earlier.. This very polite and very nice Owner/ Chef Wagih KNOWS HIS STEAKS ! period. Weve visited his restaurant many times for years now, always consistent, always excellent! The juicy steak made exactly how you like it. Ive been to fancy places and had steaks all over, I cant remember their flavor. Hood & Grill steak, I crave for.. So far Ive tried the chicken shawarma on rice, the chicken shawarma wrap, and the beef shawarma on rice and they were all prepared quickly and tasted great! The beef shawarma is especially flavourful, and I think the wrap will be my to-go option for a quick bite to eat!

Stopped in today for some lunch and the Shawarma plate was excellent . My friend had the chicken steak which he really loved. Great atmosphere and very friendly service. Highly recommend.

This place has great customer service, the owner is very nice which helps create a great atmosphere. On top of that this place serves, what is in my opinion, the BEST steak Ive ever eaten in my life

Nice little spot in downtown Milton which you should definitely give a try. We had the chicken shwarma/rice and chicken shwarma/fries. The salad was also very good and we had the garden salad and the caesar salad. Everything there is halal if that is something that is important to you as well. Good to give local businesses the support and this is another one to add on to the list. Check them out! Next time we are back would like to try the steak.

Came in on a whim- there s not a ton of good halal steak spots so I was hugely surprised by this little spot on Main Street. I had a delicious steak dinner here, relatively quick and friendly service. I ll definitely bring a larger group of friends next time because it s a place worth sharing!

Great spot in downtown Milton! The steak here is great, the owner here was very receptive when I told him my wife has a soy and dairy allergy and went out of his way to accommodate us.

The food here is awful. I got a mix beef and chicken plate. The beef was negligible in the mixture. The chicken was chewy and full of fat. The sauce was sour. The fatoush salad was oily and bitter tasting. I find it so hard to believe in the high reviews for this restaurant, they must be fake. I will never return here and neither do I recommend it.

I ordered a rib eye steak medium rare. Everything was perfectly cooked. I will be back next time.

If I had a choice to give negative stars I would. I ordered chicken shawarma and beef Philly steak sandwich. First lets talk about Philly sandwich. It came as wrap not bun. It was cold.. there was less qty of cheese and filled with ketchup. It was not Philly cheese at all.** the bit of cheese it has was frozen in the sandwich... The chicken shawarma was the same the meat was precooked. It was cold all over. It was not even grilled properly. There was no sauce. I would not recommend this place. It ruined our evening. ***The owner has time to reply the review but not to prepare fresh hot food..

The steak was cooked just as ordered and was tender, however lacked seasoning and flavor. The chicken shawarma was good though. Ambience is run down and fine for a night out with the boys.

The owner/cook is talkative and overly friendly, often skirting the line of professionalism. Food was okay, nothing amazing. Prices were all raised by 30% over pre pandemic prices. So its not the cheapest place fyi.

Hade a evening out with some friends and stumbled across Hood & Grill. Simple menu but great food, I had the Grilled Salmon, which had great flavor. You may enjoy the company of the owner more than his great food. He was very friendly, professional and entertaining. Believe he missed his calling as a standup comedian.

On cloud nine after just eating takeout which exceeded expectations. I ordered the side of falafel and the fatoush salad with the garlic sauce. The falafel was as good as when I had it in the Middle East! No room for improvement; just perfect. My husband picked up our order and said the owner was very friendly and made everything fresh. He ordered the shawarma wrap and said it was delicious.

The food itself was good. But after we paid, we were then told they made a mistake and i had to pay more. So i paid more but was never given change. Then they blasted the music and i couldnt even hear myself talk. Terrible service.

Ive walked by this place for over 2 years and always wanted to try it but never have. The stars finally aligned and I went yesterday, was greeted by thr owner and was very satisfied with the service, cleanliness and most importantly the quality of the food! Highly recommended giving it a chance if you havent already. There is a reason this location is voted the #1 spot in Milton for Shawarmas!

The best steak Ive ever had cooked up perfection exactly how i like it! What a hidden gem in milton. Been living in milton since 2010 and just came across this place Food is unparalleled and Wagih is so nice.. puts his all in his food! Husband had the rib eye with peppercorn sauce and i had the tenderloin with mushrooms sauce Rice was mouthwatering and ceasar salad was the best Ive had in a long time! Plus everything is halal! Will def be raving about this place to everyone we know and now it will be our go to place for steak!

We stopped by to get our favourite takeout - shawarma. I left without getting one, my wife picked one up and it was definitely the worst she s had from all the other chains. They didn t even have the meat on the vertical rotisserie - seating area was tidy but the kitchen looked like a mess. From someone whose tried shawarma all their live I wouldn t be recommending this place at all.

The shawarma on the rock is always good but we tried the steak and it was alright. I wouldnt get it again. I am all about pepper corn steak.

Went once and it is normal steak but double price. Not sure why it cost $32 for a steak and salad??!!!

We ordered the mixed grill and we were surprised with how large the amount of food was. All the food we ate tasted fresh. The chicken was juicy, the rice was flavorful, and the sauce that comes with it all is way too good. I was especially impressed with the steak we ordered, the flavor was balanced and the temperature was perfect. Will definitely be coming back.

I love this restaurant , greet hospitality, delicious steak, fantastic Kofta, and excellent home style French fried I feel like Im at home. The owner always smile, simply makes me and my wife happy to go there and recommend the restaurant to friends.

Honestly, not sure if it was just a bad night but the container I received was half empty and was essentially rice and lettuce with a sprinkling of chicken for close to $20. After eating at places like Maros in Oakville for the same or less money, Im kind of blown away by Hood & Grill, and not in a good way.

The quality and quantity of the food was great! I ordered chicken shawarma on rice and my boyfriend got beef shawarma on rice. It came hot and fresh, the chicken was juicy and the rice was fluffy. The salad it came with was crisp and had fresh vegetables too. It loses a star because there wasn t a single bottle of hand sanitizer in the establishment for customer use in sight, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Put bacon in the Caesar salad. Not impressed. This place is supposed to be halal.
