Toss Thai in Milton

Ordered fresh rolls, but too many noodles, no vegetables and sauce had more curry than expected for Thai food. Pad Thai ok, tamarind flavour and not ketchupy which was good. Stay beef rice noodle, again just okay. Not enough Satay flavour. Cashew chicken was too salty Pad See Ew was the best dish. Nice flavour and perfect spice. Just okay

I ordered mango sticky rice and it was nothing like the names says. Portion is extremely small. The mangoes were raw.

I order often, they are very cheap about giving condiments (requested & paid for) On when I called to discuss shortage they gave me the employees # to discuss my issues with! Unacceptable. Today I received a hair with dumplings, not the sause I paid extra for!!! Cheap dirty, do not recomend!!!!

The location and ambience is really nice. I tried their most popular peanut chicken on recommendation and found it super sweet, I couldn t finish the meal chicken was good and crispy but again was very sweet. I might try again as I usually like sweet but this was more than I expected.

We had a wonderful meal with excellent and friendly service. Everything was made fresh, with lots of vegetables and chili sauce on the side. We split fresh rolls, steamed dumplings and veggie pad thai. The staff was lovely and the washrooms were very clean! Highly recommend!! We will be back. We live in Waterloo , an hour s drive from this location. Whenever we have the time or are in the area, we go to toss Thai to eat. They have excellent food, terrific service and you always feel welcome. I ve been going to this place for a few years now and this is the place we go to most often. If you want a great experience, and fantastic Thai food, go to toss Thai.

Best Cantonese Chow Mein I have had in years. Took me back to my favorite place in Chinatown Toronto from the 90s!

Been in canada for 9 years.. never ate pad thai with an orange color and sweet like plum sauce.. upon asking the girls they say they used ketchup for pad thai... and they were proud of it.. on their big blackboard they even shared the recipe of pad thai which says TAMARIND paste... the waitress do not seem to hear the word tamarind ever....thai express pad thai taste better than toss thai...

Went there tonight. If you know good food, you would know this is legitimately awful food. Please dont venture there.

Stopped in for a last minute takeout order. Staff were very helpful with the menu. I ordered a pad thai, the staff asked what spice level I would like and I feel they were spot on with what I requested. My order came out quick and the portion was huge! Definitely recommend. Great pricing too!

I ve been going to this restaurant for years. Every single time the food is Hot Well seasoned Plentiful and, most importantly, delicious. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and fast...I really enjoy it here.

To get the best experience I highly recommend dinning in instead of take out if you re given the opportunity, although take out is still good. A $18 green curry didn t come with its own rice and the chicken Pad Thai was so orange in colour with just 3-4 pieces of chicken and absolutely no taste or flavour. What a terrible disappointment!

Crispy ginger beef is great

From the moment I walked in to this family restaurant, I was greeted with kindness and hospitality. They gave me their thoughts on some of their best dishes for me to take home with me and I absolutely loved it. They allowed me to take a seat and served me with a nice warm tea as I waited for my food to be done. Absolutely incredible service. Will return.

The worst food we have ever had. The chili chicken was prepared with something that you cant even chew, like hard plastics. Hawkin Chawmin was just like a dark noodles with a bitter taste due to over pouring of soya sauce. Really terrible food.

From the time we entered the restaurant to the time we left, it was not even 30 minutes. The food came so quickly and it was hot and delicious. The portions were surprisingly large. The service was the best, they packed our food in the take away boxes and bagged it for us. The restaurant itself was extremely clean, even when we went towards the end of the day; very close to closing time. Great experience and we would highly recommend it.

My favorite pad thai spot...EVER

Calling this Thai food is like saying Justin Bieber is Indian. Its just not it. My wifes stomach got upset within 45 minutes of eating. We coulndt even finish the food, it was so bad that we ate a few bites, paid our bill, and just left. It was a horrible. From the taste, to the smell, nothing seemed right. Definitely never coming back nor recommending. Even if your taste buds like bland sweet unauthentic food, id still not suggest it because my wife literally got sick 45 minutes after we left the place. The calamari smelt like the sea food section at oceans, i dont think they cooked it properly. But whatever. Whats done is done. The only thing thai about this place was the people working their. Nice warm welcoming people, i wish the food was as good as their staff. It was not.

Always used to come to this place. Food was always amazing. Tonight the basal beef and chicken soup were absolutely disgusting. The basil beef was dripping in oil and the chicken soup had a similar layer of greasy oil across the top of it. Dont know what you guys have done but I will never be back. F-

Ok, I found this place by chance and tried it. What an awesome spot for lunch, the Chili and Garlic Shrimp is outstanding. Lots of well cooked shrimp (not over done), fresh veg and rice that stands on its own. With tip and tea under $15.00....well worth it for lunch. Will definitely go there for dinner one night, based on their lunch crowd, I have no doubt they will be busy at night as well. Great spot! Updated November 2023, what a shame, just ordered through Uber Eats and the food was so far from where it was the last time I reviewed it. Soggy shrimp, a few onions and corn instead of red and green peppers which were included the last time. Its so sad and now the prices are out of control. Wont be ordering again....

Great food! But you really need to add sauce options. sweet Thai chilli (wanted this so bad), or even teriyaki only option was peanut sauce. Tofu needs sauce badly, otherwise good

I ordered the deep fried wontons and they were honestly the best wontons I have ever had. I love chicken pho and although they only had beef pho on the menu the servers were quick to offer replacing the beef with chicken. It was honestly the best chicken pho I have ever had and I have went to a lot of pho places. So much flavour and the noodles were amazing. The service was amazing. If I pass through Milton I definitely will be back

I order spicy basil Fried Rice. Hardly find the basils in the rice . two pieces of shrimp and some chicken. Basically it is kind of rice with sauces. Charging $17+ for this rice is unacceptable. Taste wise it is called basil rice. But i have not tasted/seen any basils in it.

Not sure what happened. This is salty, as heck, nothing taste the way it used to. It s just all Chinese food gravy on top of veg. Disappointed: your pho was amazing and you never brought it back. Dont waste your money. Totally overpriced with the lowest quality food and flavor non existent. The soup was just spicy water (?) with vegetables in it that no one was bothered to cut or cook, (whole corn and whole mushrooms in there), the summer rolls - which i was very much looking forward to- were the most disappointing thing I have eaten; they were overfilled with noodles with 2 ingredients, 2!! AND it tasted horrid! How can 2 ingredients be enough to make summer rolls taste bad?? Dont even get me started on the peanut sauce and oil that came with it, i had hoped it would have fixed the taste but it made it worse. The jasmine rice was mediocre. Imagine starving after a long day of work, spending $35 on a meal that had to be thrown away and end up ordering from another place the same night.

We tried this at work for the first time, thought it was going to be good since there were alot of good reviews and high star rating. We ordered crispy ginger beef, mango salad, chicken satay skewers, fish cakes, spring rolls and pad thai. Crispy ginger beef was super sweet, super oily and bland. Its like eating candied beef. The mango salad was just mango slices with some cucumbers, no dressing at all. You cant really call it a salad if theres only 2 ingredients on it. The pad thai was bright orange and tasted like sweet and sour sauce. Tasted nothing like pad thai at all and the broccoli was hard too. The spring rolls were super bland. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because of the fish cakes and the chicken satay skewers. They were both good and the sauce of the chicken satay was really tasty. Everything amounted to almost $90 but unfortunately the quality of the food isnt good for that price.

Ive been coming here for lunch before lockdowns and after. Great Thai food and their lunch deals cannot be beat. I usually call ahead for take out or when I dine in, service is pretty quick. Im in and out during my lunch break. Would highly recommend for a delicious, quick bite. You can even shop in the plaza afterwards.

First time to try this restaurant ordered from uber eats. We ordered Green curry, bulgogi, and Galbi which cost almost $60 for just 3 items so I am expecting large quantities so why its so expensive. For our disappointment the Galbi has 8 slices of short ribs in it all its left is the bean sprout paid $21 same thing with the bulgogi paid $19 all half the container is bean sprout just topped with little beef (picture 3) the green curry ($14) is okay few chicken on it lots of broccoli and zucchini. Over all flavour wise its okay. I recommend if I was the owner I better review the food quality and quantities lots of costumers are complaining too coz if i were to order at a different restaurant that $60 i would by 5 different menu items not just 3. Just saying as a person who works too on the food industry. :)

Food was very disappointing and not authentic Thai. The chicken Pad Thai was very bland with no sauce and hardly any chicken. The crispy ginger beef was essentially candied and so sweet/sugary that it was hard to eat. Unfortunately will not be returning.

I ve ordered food here on 4 occasions and every time I order a dish with meat I get literally a few tiny pieces. I ordered chicken pad Thai and had literally two tiny pieces of chicken and was asked to pay cash for a discount on a $50 order which came to $52.50 with debit LOL.

Very tasty and fresh Thai food just the way I like it. Service was fast and friendly.. great for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend! (Update, July 2022) After coming here for 5 years i had to remove a star... Still great food but higher priced and they only do takeout ever since COVID... What a bummer i really enjoyed the restaurant experience.

Really wanted to give this place a try. Dont live in Milton but was there for the day. Note that on July 29, 2022, they are doing take out only. So it wasnt really viable for us to order, wait there, and then take the food...where? So we left. Disappointing. They have a website and social media and could let potential customers know that they are not doing dine in - even though pretty much the rest of the world has returned to dine in. I doubt I will try again to go there.

Mango salad is my favourite and i bought it at Toss Thai hoping to enjoy it. But was disappointed. It tasted stale. The crushed peanuts used was smelling and stale. Bunch of sour mango slices, pieces of cucumber amd cabbage does not make it a mango salad. Please get the recipe right. My family i are disappointed. Chicken and fried rice and red curry was reasonable good. But would think twice before going there again. A piece of advise.. Please do check the ingredients before using them in your cooking.

I was excited to try Toss Thai and I hate leaving bad reviews especially when the people there were nice but the food was just bad. We ordered 2 Pad Thai and both orders just tasted like fish oil that went bad. There was no other flavour despite it being bright orange and having some onions and a couple carrot slices. We didn t bother eating more than a couple bites. If we were closer we would have just asked for our money back.

Is there ketchup in the hot and sour soup?

Not a fan of their ginger beef. It seemed like bits of beef heavily deep fried and drenched in sugar. And for a 20$ dish to not include rice or any veggies is a little excessive.

Pad Thai was terrible, tasted like it was made with ketchup, the other 2 dishes were ok but all three of us were sick to varying degrees that night or by the next day.

First time trying this place, I called and ordered take out, the person that took the order never asked my name, phone number etc. I thought no big deal maybe they copied my phone number. Upon arrival they had a table set up in front of the front door blocking off all the tables. I thought it was weird that all the tables were closed because of the pandemic (it was in October 2022 and all restrictions lifted already) But I ordered take out so no issue for me. After a short jog around the restaurant the lady found my order as they had each order on separate tables (not very organized) but not a big deal as food was packaged well and warm when we opened it up to eat. Food was good at best, would have it again but not in a hurry for mediocre. No name, phone number etc. food was good at best but definitely need some help with organization but When I called to place my order the lady didn t give me any order number or ask my name (I assumed they copied my number) when I got there in they had to check a few orders as they didn t mark the bag with anything other then the bill. After a short visit to 5-6 tables we managed to find my order as they they had one bag on each table so food was properly spaced out. Made it a bit difficult to find the order but

Ordered the Beef Rendang and it was disgusting. I have had rendang curry before and this is not it. This was grated coconut dry as ever. I called back and she said to me 2 times this was our least popular curry and if i wanted a soupy curry to get something else. If you want proper rendang curry go to Lion City mississauga.

Ordered a pad thai extra spicy its very bland no spice no flavour. Correction the only flavour was the tofu. It tastes like the deep fryer

I m surprised how you can name a Haka restaurant Toss Thai . Extreme misrepresentation by the establishment and food was extremely gross and nothing Thai about it in any of the five dishes ordered. Extremely chewey meats including seafood which shows the substandard quality of meats being used and the fried stuff was extremely nasty and seems like oil is not frequently changed. I don t care about the amount of food but for the price, quality and authenticity cannot be compromised. Extremely disappointed!

Took 1.5 hours to get my food through Uber eats (poor driver)... Im sad to say it was the worst thai food Ive ever eaten! Its definitely over-priced and lower quality than other Thai places. The mango chicken was literally mango thrown on top of razer thin deep fried chicken skin! Cold rolls clearly over stuffed with noodles to avoid using more ingredients...

We ordered from this restaurant after seeing positive online reviews however the experience was not a positive one. We ordered a dish with fried chicken that was mainly batter without any meat. I ordered pad Thai which turned out to taste only like fried noodles and vegetables. It had no sauce on it but instead was coated in oil. I drained a tablespoon out of the bottom of the container. The was no tofu either. It seems to have been substituted with pineapple. This doesnt taste like any Thai food Ive had and I will not be returning.

Before the pandemic, used to eat here regularly for lunch and every single day it was consistently amazing, regardless of what you order. The restaurant itself is cozy and welcoming. I would also order for pickup and it would be ready within 15 mins no matter how much I ordered. now with the pandemic on i order from them from ubereats and its still almost the exact same from home. cant recommend this place enough. would say its my favorite restaurant in Milton. my favorite lunch meal to eat there is the chili garlic shrimp with rice, favorite to order would definitely be the chili chicken chow mein. but no matter what you order from them everything is quality and delicious.

Curries are quite good, gen tao pretty reasonable, some of the items not so great, crispy ginger beef was awful, for $14 I got some small overfried pieces of batter, couldnt even taste if there was beef. The tom yum is some of the best Ive ever had, I cant stop eating this soup from toss thai

All I can say is wow! This has by far been some of the most flavourful and delicious Thai food we have had in a while. We ordered a variety of dishes through Uber eats. The food arrived piping hot and it was packaged extremely well. The crispy ginger beef was amazing!! Major hit with our family. Would 100% recommend this place :)

Ordered galbi, summer rolls, and Vietnam iced coffee and Thai iced tea. The portions were minimum and the galbi doesnt come with the rice. you have to pay $2 for one. The ribs were tasteless, chewy and will def make your mouth work out. The drinks both tasted like they were powder. definitely wont be coming back.

We recently discovered this restaurant and have ordered twice from Uber. The food was fresh and warm. Their dishes taste great! The Tom yum soup is amazing! The Pad See Ew is great! Red curry is also perfect (not too sweet like some places)! Green curry is also really good! The quantity is great to share. This has become our new go-to Thai place for sure!

They scam people and don t make fresh food. They ask for cash and say they will give you spring rolls free. We paid them cash and they didn t give us the spring rolls so we came back to return the food. I highly don t recommend this place as service is horrible.

Our favourite restaurant. We drive an 1hr and 15 minutes just for this restaurant, at least once a month, sometimes more! Fast, affordable and delicious food! Wish they had a franchise near London.

We ordered here after reading all the rave reviews. The food was way too sweet, and the meat was so tough that my husband and I had to yank each piece with all our strength.

We ordered takeout last weekend. One meat dish, one chicken dish and one seafood dish. The flavour was wonderful but one question? Where was the beef, chicken and seafood? Each order was 95% vegetables with shavings of the beef and chicken and a few shrimps. What a shame. Good thing I had some chicken breast in the fridge marinating for the next days lunch. I quickly fried up the slicked pieces of 2 chicken breasts, threw all 3 dishes in one big bowl, which were again mostly vegetables, and then tossed in my tender chunks of chicken. That was better. We dont know if we will go back since were not vegetarians. I was really hoping we found our new place. Too bad.

Five Stars for the authentic taste, portions, price,friendly and quick service. It is a drive from Brampton, however I will go again all the way for the tasty food.

Worst thai experience ever. Pho soup meat impossible to chew its so tough, no tendon present... Pad thai is tasteless, boiled noodles with some red sweet sauce, no sour salty notes as we had everywhere else... What a pity... Left food on the table... I dont understand how this place has 4.2 ratings. Going to a real Pho place now that we wasted $23 here.

My family and I come here often, and our server always remembers us! Food is always served quickly and hot! I love the cheese wontons from here.

I grabbed a couple of dishes including Tom Yum soup, a curry and a thai basil stir fry. Food tasted okay but not the flavour profile that I expect from Thai cuisine. It tasted more Chinese to me...

Food was good and is always good. We only get take out. The lady who took our order was extremely rude. There was a male there that was much more pleasant but the lady was extremely rude.

Brutal! Called in an order for General Tao chicken and pad thai - no flavour at all! Pad thai had lots of orange noodles... little of anything else! Wont be back...

Always great food

It was OK. The lunch menus were good portions for the price as they came with soup, spring roll and a drink. We ordered the bulgogi and was not happy that it literally only had 3 strips of meat. The table beside us ordered the pad-thai and chicken fried rice and they were full, which is good. I ordered a tom yum for myself and I was expecting a decent size for a small serving. It was literally just a bit bigger than my can of sprite. For $8. Was it an appetizer? Not sure. Overall- taste-wise its good. But given what we ordered for portion sizing - not too sure if id come if I was really hungry.

Wasnt busy so was tended to quickly and food came quick also. I asked for more spicy, but the dish was light. Great taste overall, just like mine to be legitimately spicy. !

If I had a GF, I would bring her here all the time. It s that good!

Really poor quality food, with no taste other than spice level. They also use poor quality sauces that have a lot of sugar. If youre looking for a generic place to eat, this may be a good option, but if you want good quality food I would look else where. I also found the owner to be very impatient. We were giving her our order and all of a sudden she just walks away when we were asking her a question. We sat there for 5 minutes wondering what happened. She comes back and takes our order again and when we were asking her the questions again about the menu she kinda just rushed us and told us to order. I didnt really enjoy the vibe of the restaurant.

Had the food here and it was very good I got a vegetable dish and the flavours was so good and we also tried the beef and it was amazing hope they keep serving like this

I ve been here several times, for both lunch and dinner, as well as ordered take-out and am always so impressed by the flavours, the portions, the cleanliness and the staff. Although my family usually ends up going between the same handful of our favourite dishes, the menu has a lot of variety. I love that I always have leftovers to bring to work the next day!

Drove one hour for having dinner in Toss Thai with my friend. The best Thai food I have tried. Going to bring more friends come to here for the good food.

I love this place. I have gone here for lunch and dinner many times, i would consider myself a fairly regular customer. I have tried every main dish on their menu. Im very fond of the peanut chicken, ginger beef and pad thai. They are very fast with getting your food and the portions are pretty generous. I can split a main with another person and a side of rice and still be full. Everything I have tried has tasted good. I would recommend trying this place. I have taken bith family and frinds here and they all love the place now too and go regularly as well.

Food always tastes like it was cooked in the same pan used for the previous dish with a slight grease-burnt flavour added in my dishes. Great prices though!
