Wow. There's a very cranky lady working here. She completely ruined the experience. Cashier was friendly and efficient, and food was good. But when I brought my tray back to the counter when I finished eating, I got attitude from this woman, who said "I'm not a waitress. The tray goes back there." Back there was behind a wall with no signs. I could have left the tray on the table. Then she would have become the dreaded waitress, in a completely empty restaurant. I won't be returning. In case the owner reads this, it was October 26 around 10am.
Waited about 10 mins for someone to take are order amd 35 mins for our food they were talking in the back doing nothing ,,dishes were over flowing in the back it was 3pm and still breakfast plates with Flys last time for me ,,a&w really went down down in the last year's very disappointing..

Terrible service! The restaurant was almost empty and we had to wait more than 20 min to receive two burguers, with cold fries! As addittion, we did not receive one apple pie with our order and they make us wait at least additional 20-25 min. There were more employees than customers, not even the drive thru was busy, so why they take sooo long to serve??!!! Totally unaceptable!
I ask for burgers only kectchup twice he gives me just the opposite
they do everything they can to provide a pleasant experience every time you visit.
You should review your opening hours on Google and on your doorstep. Depending on your schedule, at 7:00 a.m. it is open. Wednesday October 23, 2024, 8:15 a.m. and not a single soul is present in the restaurant and this is not the first time this has happened. In terms of service, I have always had very good service. Always polite and courteous
I waited 20 minutes inside for a take-out trio!
We went there on October 31 around 4:15 p.m. for their super Halloween promotion free childrens meal arriving on site about 5-6 groups of parents/children were waiting in line to order in 45 minutes of waiting no person was served the frustrated people left me and my group including we went to eat at a competitors instead a restaurant ZERO ready to honor their promotion there should have been more preparation the children were disappointed!

I dont know where to start because the experience was so bad... Ill start with what shocked me the most! We placed an order with Mr. Rachid and we unfortunately encountered a problem with the payment terminal... nothing too serious, however Mr. Rachids reaction was far from professional! We were treated to a raised voice and visual gestures of frustration/discontent. In addition, he made slight comments that were neither necessary nor professional! To continue, I took the time to go to the toilet and I was not surprised... Stains everywhere...paper on the floor and a toilet inspection sheet showing no maintenance for several days... In conclusion, although the food was excellent I unfortunately cannot recommend this place...

Really disappointed with our visit to A&W In my onion ring there was an insect (supporting photo, it looks like a mosquito?!) I wanted to encourage a business other than McDonalds, but it honestly bothered me repugnant I do not recommend the St-Canut restaurant!

No chicken strips for the childrens menu, no apple turnovers. Forget my onion ring.
We were hesitant to go to McDonalds and we should have!! Order 3 trios + 1 children s menu No apple juice so we take water, same for trios. The burgers are all in an uncle bag so difficult to identify, the meatballs are ultra dry and too salty, the onion rings are almost burnt and just as salty. But the worst thing is finding yourself with cups of water from the fountain (so the same as at your sink) and being told that its normal if you wanted a bottle we would have been charged 3.50 $ more per bottle!!! Paying $70 for that is a steal!!!! Clearly we wont be going back! At least at McDonalds I have a bottle of water with my trio and not charged more.
You should change your opening hours. It says Thursday 11 p.m. on Google but when you get to the restaurant it closes at 9 a.m.
For the 5th delivery in a row, we had problems with our food: missing drinks, wrong burgers, wrong sides, missing burgers, missing fries. Are you looking for a lack of professionalism and a lack of rigor? Ordered from this A&W.

I should have checked the comments before going there! Paying almost $20 for a slice of mozzarella. My burger was cold, not lukewarm the COLD! Hard bread, cheese not melted at all, dumpling that must have been from dinner. My slice was so salty that I felt like I was taking a spoonful of salt with my first and only bite!!! Dinner and dinner very good and good service. But I went there this morning for lunch and it was the worst A&W lunch I have ever ordered. I ordered 2 light egg rolls, bacon and brown bread with a breakfast wrap and a large orange juice. I received 2 very well cooked eggs (I wanted light), 2 small slices of bacon (very very cheap), potatoes, WHITE bread (I wanted brown) and my lunch wrap was: egg, bacon, cheese and KETCHUP!!?? ?? Ketchup in a wrap?????? It was disgusting. What was the best was the orange juice. Plus the girl at the checkout didnt really know how to work, she seemed lost. It cost me $16, at that price, next time Ill go to another restaurant for lunch. And they should wash the tables more often. Then there should be the option to add tip to the interac machine.
Worst A&W Ive ever been to. Firstly, the service is extremely slow, secondly the burgers are cold, dry and not fresh and their famous onion rings are cold dry and taste like old dirty oil stuck in motton and there are just 4-5. Disgusting! Avoid especially when two trios cost $45
What I love are all day lunches!
Croquette meal for a child without the sauce and almost no fries in the small bag. When we disappoint a child it is unacceptable! Cheap lunch but not very well executed. The eggs are overcooked, no yolk to dip our toasts. Its never the same staff. I believe that employees are not treated well because they resign quickly which results in poorly trained employees...
At the price it costs pi with extra for sweet potatoes well the bag is half empty and all crushed its the same thing for the onion rings and it looked like the mush crushed Long service and there was no one in the restaurant. Very disappointed

The waitress started shouting at her from her work college and ran away leaving me without my order. The manager came to serve me, very disappointed with the service but the food was good.
25 minutes for 2 trios... the young people were goofing around and laughing, it wasnt working hard... Ive been there several times and normally I always have excellent service but now Im disappointed.

Saturday November 25, 2023 at 5 p.m. dining room closed...okay, there is a lack of employees...its understandable so I go through the drive-thru and to my great surprise when I get home...I take out the hamburgers and the meats are dry and almost black...probably a batch of meat that has been in the stove for too long...in short!! Very disappointing..if the owner or manager of this restaurant is reading this message...changes are needed.
very ordinary A & W st-canut firstly the menu is defective on the outside (it remains in lunch mode), uncle burger trio with slices and chicken sandwich for $28.14!!! he charges you $4.89 for the puck and the super smiling lady at the counter answers I would have charged the fries.....? its a trio maam, the washers there are 7 inside, burnt and all the breading is found in the bottom of the bag first & last time cheap restaurant...to be avoided

Less than a week ago, I arrived at A&W at 9:50 p.m.... I ordered ONE Beyond Meat combo (just one order) and asked that my fries be freshly out of the oil. We agree that at this time, its not madness at the counter. The girl who takes my order specifies at the back that I want my fries out of the oil when ordering. She even takes the trouble to tell the manager (Karim) 4 times back to back... and he looks at her smiling. ((Karim spends his time looking at the command monitor, going in circles and not knowing how to properly lead his team. Im not complaining about young people, because we all start somewhere... But his attitude of nonchalance in says a lot about his quality as a leader)) 10-15 minutes later, we put my Beyond in the take-out bag with the fries... I take my bag and as it turns out, my fries are very soft and cold. I told the manager to change my fries. I am given a cold puck as a waiting gift. Arrived at 10:20 p.m.... I finally have my fries. I am asking for my bill to be refunded following the endless wait and their error. He tells me its not his fault and that I need to understand and accept waiting so long and paying for poor quality food. It should be noted that A&W employees were trained before opening. So that this situation does not happen. Once again, I do not blame the young people in this story but rather Karim, who does not want to pay for his mistakes. Opening a restaurant comes with losses and adjustments at the beginning and is only profitable after the 3rd year. I will go to Saint-Jérôme to eat A&W and will certainly not recommend this restaurant with the pitiful service I received.
I start where...the employee complains about not having received pay for 3 days...the employers are on site and the employees are having difficulty....the food is cold, the slices are half cooked and cold and a mayochup relish style sauce in my burger?! I dont receive an order after 3 people after me and they lost my order....ish its hard.... the employee who wants her pay wants 3 days off says I cant work its my ball I have to Im getting ready....hello....mother, not in front of everyone. . Or not working...but thats the haystack...

Update! 2nd visit to the drive-thru: the Nashville chicken is very good, spicy and a nice big piece of chicken that goes well beyond the buns! The only problem, see photo, the sauce put on the chicken was leaky or too thick! see photos, but also the employee with these gloves probably handled the chicken and the sauce and then the bread (with the same gloves or tongs), because the bread was well soiled by the sauce! ate it while holding it by the bread, it got dirty! 1st visit: at the drive-thru service, after 2 weeks of opening. Good, courteous service, the meal was well done like everywhere in other A&Ws. I saw the manager help the employees do their jobs well! The only problem, she forgot to give me the bill! (It was given to me quickly, it was already printed I think). But I think its a simple oversight, versus those who systematically do not give invoices or those of another customer, to evade taxes and not declare their income, like Pizzerias, chicken and creamery restaurants! Who do it systematically in St--Canut!

Service a big zero, our 3 meals next to the cashier instead of telling us everything is ready she says nothing and she serves the other customer and whats more it looked like they were made in advance, very cold meal, cold hamburgers the very cold and very dry onion rings, plus my husband comes to take the drinks all splashed on him he gets doused with soft drinks and the floor too, I think they forgot to put something after the machines liquors, we warned and the young employee and she just said ha. That was the last time we went there
Le service est très long, les filles font pas souriantes et froides. Je suis venue avec un coupon, une fille ne sait pas comment le scanner. Elle demande a une autre qui dit: « j ai pas de temps je suis trop occupé ». En fin, la galette de viande tes froide, le pain n est pas chaud, le rondelle d oignon est froid et plein d huile pas croustillant du tout!

Im a big fan of A&W and always order the same thing. First, this A&W cost me $2 more than usual for the same order, no explanation .. And two, I had 7 very small pucks in my bag. Never seen before! Half as much as I usually have. Heres a photo of what you get for $17!!! To avoid.

Wrong order for my husband. My MC Mama tasted musty (confirmed by my husband). The onion ring was soft and dripping with oil. As it was a bring order, we did not return but sent our comments to the head office. To be continued...
