As soon as I walked in for my first payed meal of the day the atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable lots of place to choose from to sit where you like and the service was very pleasant n they were very polite and attendtive to making sure I had everything during my meal and the med rare steak meal I had ordered was very tender and juicy I loved it definitely goi ng back there again just because my experience at this restaurant/bar had great food and service
I had a poutine and asked the waitress to surprise me with a drink. I'm nit sure what drink it was but the waitress nailed it! It was a lemonade concoction and it perfectly suited the hot summer day! I probably wouldn't get a poutine there again but the rest of their dishes are great!
Had breakfast here with a large group. Breakfast came out very fast and had a great selection. Everyone was happy with their selections. I had the Eggs Benedict. They were good. Not the best I've ever had but overall no complaints! Our server was great and prompt and checked in often.
Always a fun place where you will find the locals hanging out! Go Timberwolves! Great food, friendly top-notch service, great food and lively atmosphere! Often have live music too!
Lunch Order today … I got the Darcy’s Deadly and a Ceasar Salad . Ordered at 2:08 pm and was ready at 2:25 pm. ( they wernt very busy at this time ). Very quick !!! Also food was cooked fresh. Fresh bun , veggies and chicken . Salad is always awesome . Very consistent. Happy staff . And the Owner was even there to greet me with a smile and laugh also. Very pleased. Will go again .
Update April 12,2023: our second visit was again perfect, the coffee and cream flow so freely it makes the meal extra special 👍 A little pricier than the rest of the full breakfast serving restaurants in town but definitely worth it. I had "Mike's clogger" with the $3 upsize to an omelette option and bologna added in addition to my one choice of meat. Everything was perfect from the crispy outside and juicy inside of the fried Bologna, hash browns and sausages to the sheer amount of egg, bacon, veggies and cheese in the omelette portion with quite frankly the most intensely good flavours I've ever had in an omelette. My fiance had the eggs Benedict and was similarly impressed, especially with the perfectly over easy eggs; when she was full I was gifted her second massive slice of ham that was perfectly cooked so it was firm and juicy without being made too chewy like I've had elsewhere on occasion. The portion was huge for both of us but it was too good to not overdo it 🤣 Super big shout out to Julia for the best service we have received in Miramichi out of 5 other restaurants serving a full breakfast menu, I drank SO much coffee she brought us a carton of cream 👍
A good pub with servers who were working hard! Menu is large. Hot turkey good but they only offer beef gravy. Homemade fries were good. Ordered bbq chicken nachos as appetizer but they came out with main entrees and were a bit cold. Did we still eat them? Of course! Restrooms clean. Drink prices were decent
Tried out Mike's Bar and Grill on Thursday which is their steak night. Service was friendly. The wait was a bit longer than expected but to be fair, it was a full house. Overall food and atmosphere was really good and I was surprised to get a very reasonable bill at the end. Would definitely return again.
Favourite place in town. Never a bad meal.
We come up to Miramichi 3-4 times a year to fish. We stop at Mikes every single time for the food and service. The loaded kettlechips are the best in the country, and the service is second to none. Will continue to eat at Mikes for years to come.

One of Miramichi top place to eat & have a drink
Greek Salad was nothing but finely chopped tomatoes, onions and cucumber with flecks of feta cheese. Not an olive to be found.

We had a reservation for 38 kids and adults during a basketball tournament. Staff were very accommodating, they put us downstairs in the back by ourselves. We asked if we could stream a basketball game on one of the TVs and they had no problem with that. Our group was loud, cheering for the game. Staff were friendly, food was good. It was a great experience!

We loved the food both times we went there.
Worst experience on the East Coast while visiting. Server took forever to come to our table, while being the most attentive to the table next to us who were clearly friends of hers. When she decided to come over she was just the rudest person I ve ever met. My stir fry was dry as the Sahara desert. When I asked for extra sauce, the cold container was slammed onto the table and slid across. Also a whole chunk of an onion peel was found in my food, I don t even understand how that happens? Clearly they hire people who don t care enough about their job to actually put care into their work. When I approached the owner with my concerns, I was told it s just how the server is, she s from Ontario I don t care where your employees are from. There should be a standard that is held for how your employees treat your customers. Toward the end of our conversation Mike failed to apologize for my terrible service and food, but instead said ya know, 99% are happy, but there s always the 1% that doesn t have a good time not at all professional for someone who has actual experience in the industry of food and customer service. I can tell you that if anyone of my employees behaved the way she did, I would have fired her on the spot. Meal did get payed for by Mike, the only good thing he did while I was there. With his dismissive attitude and turning the blame to the customers and terrible food, I would not ever recommend this establishment to anyone.

Good solid meal while traveling. Local pub fare with cold beer and hot dishes. I had the stir Fry with rice. Food was fresh and quick. Good environment.
I have only had a few different dishes here multiple times but always spot on. Parking is limited however the arena across the street works well usually

I have a shell fish allergy and the first waitress me and my friend had couldnt give us a straight answer on cross contamination with the oil fries are done in and the oil shellfish was used in. Then the food came out and someone with a brain gave me an immediate answer after I ordered something not fried. My nachos were cold but I just didnt care anymore. After I left I swore never to come back. Screw this place.

Prices were on average 5 bucks more than the menu on the website, fries were soggy with no flavor, the smallest wings Ive ever gotten in my life and when I get home they forgot my drink. Way overpriced for what it is.

I had a grilled chicken sandwich. It was just ok. Prices higher than I would have thought. I was with a friend celebrating her birthday with lunch out, so wanted a glass of wine with my meal. Waitress brought me an ounce or 2 to taste of their red house wine...OMG It was hard not to spit it back out. Malbec I think she said it was. Gross! Ive never been to a restaurant that serves that as a house wine. Its normally a merlot, cabernet sauvignon, or a smooth red table blend. Sorry, wont be returning there in future. Not just because of the wine, but just the overall experience.

Hands down, best kept secret in Miramichi food scene. Friendly service, great food and the local craft beer was second to none. Will be my go to place on my next trip to the Miramichi.
Classic pub atmosphere that anyone would enjoy. Saturday afternoon and the place was very crowded, and for good reason. Friendly attentive staff to make the experience even better. And the food is excellent. Highly recommend the fish and chips. Reasonably priced and very generous portions - and sooooo good! Next time Im in Miramichi I will be going back for sure!

Management and/or owner may want to take interest in training staff on new p.o.s system. It would make the servers job more enjoyable Im sure.

We only go to Mikes to eat. The food is unreal, breakfast is my fave(breakfast poutine). Typical bar, nicely laid out and a full basement with full service as well. Its a must try.

It was all about the service. Pleasant young girl served us. Made great specialty Ceasars. Food was ok, would have like to have seen more meat on the Montreal Smoked meat. Atmosphere was classic bar/pub style. Might be fun on a busy night. We were I Monday June 27 8pm,...whoever our young server was, give hee more shifts, she made the dinner worth while. Will stop in again, next time in town.

Best steak Ive ever eaten. My family and a couple of friends stopped here while visiting Moncton from NS and what an experience. Our waitress was very kind and helpful, even had some gravy made so we can try it to see if its good. All but 2 of us got the steak and we were all impressed with how perfectly it was made, just the grilled steak we were looking for. The price (regular, not steak night) was also surprisingly low compared to other places, the quality and taste. It did take a little bit of time to get the food but it was all worth it, and the baked potato I had was also great. Although they didnt have dessert, the waitress went above and beyond to see if there was any place that sold locally-made pastries we could try, with no success, but I really appreciated the effort, thank you for everything!

Delicious food for an afforable price. The fish tacos was good but the fries were the mvp, they taste so good that i almost forgot My fish tacos. The service and waitresses are Nice, polite and kindly. The ambiente si as good as well. I recommend it if You visit new castle. The only downside i found is they doesnt sell desserts, keep in mind that (You can ask for a good coffee instead).

Got the hot turkey.....which they claim i s their house special. It is severved with beef gravy! How wierd is that? Portions good. Prices descent. Service ok. Please please please make some turkey or chicken gravy for your hot sandwich. Beef gravy doesnt work for a turkey sandwich. If they fix this i would give a solid 4. Other than that the servers are young and dont quite have the drive like the old days. Very nice girls though

Low part of the day. We are a senior couple and left feeling violated. Wife ordered the Wings which included carrots and celery, as described in the menu. It came without.. Asked why and waitress replied you have to ask seperate so we asked then to see a menu and the wings did indeed come with veg as described. They never arrived. End of meal asked why..She said it was busy and most times didnt come with veg. We suggested the menu should be changed. Machine was presented with no itemized bill. I asked for one and she asked what I was looking for. I replied a reduction for the missing menu items. Her reply thats not going to happen

I get take out from here pretty regularly. Order the same thing every time. For a meal that consists of nothing more than rice, veggies, sauce and meat their prices to portions are getting aweful. Ordered with shrimp and beef and got 4 small pieces of shrimp (4$+tax) and 9 bite sized pieces of beef (another 4$+tax. The takeout dish was only half full.

I visited Mikes with my wife on a visit to NB from Ontario. The menu is on 1 page, back to back. This is great and makes it easy to choose what you would like. We were there on steak night and the place was packed. The staff were fantastic and our order was placed and delivered quickly considering it was steak night. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was friendly and casual. We had a great evening.
