We were overcharged for our meals. We were charged adult prices when there were lower prices for children but we were not informed of the lower prices.

During our week in Miramichi, we had lunch at Jungle Jim s Oh wow the decor is very different and nice The owner welcomed us with a wonderful smile The service was wonderful We ate well! Thank you really for this welcome

I got food poisoning the last time I was there. So I m gonna pass on this place for a while. The servers are always friendly though and the drinks are good.

Kids had a wonderful time in the playroom, food was pretty good and service was excellent. The owner chatted with us and gave me and my stepdaughter a t-shirt we really appreciated her kindness and the other servers as well.

Childs Mac and Cheese was so salty it couldnt be eaten. BBQ chicken nachos were horrible. Barely warm, hardly any cheese or chicken on them. Chips said made in house but we were told they werent. Home fries were over cooked to the point they tasted burnt and were rubbery. Philly cheese steak sandwich was edible but thats all. Very disappointed. When we complained we were given 15%off. Not impressed at all with this restaurant and definitely wont be returning! Nor recommending!

Went here to eat on Valentines Day . We were told we could not get a table unless we had reservations. This would have been my second time eating there, but I will never go back

I would give this a 0 star in all categories if possible. After ordering a Pepsi and Bathroom Sink, I then waited 40 minutes before getting my glass of Pepsi (which was warm and flat) and another 20 minutes after that before I got my actual food. The excuse of the waitresses was that the restaurant was experiencing a huge rush , which was a confusing reason after having a look around and seeing 75% of the tables empty. After all this absolutely terrible service and somehow worse food, we received no apology. If you are ever in the area and have nothing to eat, you are better off leaving it that way.

Perfect spot to bring your children in Miramichi we always make the best memories at the jungle. Iam a single mom and it was kids eat free today and were a regular at this establishment and the owner was our server and she gave both my babies free meals even though I just paid for 1 adult meal and it touched me. Then she offered the kids a toy from the tressure chest. Thank you so much!! We love having our birthday parties here too. There is private room as well as a play room and the kids meals included desert and a drink. Parents were able to stay for lunch too and there was cotton candy and popcorn. I also do my girls night out at the jungle when your kid less you can enjoy some amazing drinks and apps while you wait for your food always a great time. The food is always fire love the steak burgers toqitos nichos cheese steak i love the stir fry and I love the everything but the kitchen sink its great aswell as wings. The desert is yummy too. Hands down my familys favorite spot. Kid-friendliness: The kids are the number 1 priority I would say everything in the resturant is an experience they have special punches and a games room cotton candy machines and a tressure chest. My sister came to town to celebrate her birthday. Lots of room in extra large booths! Steak was great and the apple Carmel chime chungas came with a candle and the kids sang along! Good time had by all! Parking: Large mall parking lot right outside the door. Kid-friendliness: A jungle playroom with lots of toys! A good childrens menu!

EDIT AT BOTTOM. Not horrible... but the kitchen sink is a joke now. Servers cant keep orders straight either. EDIT: Went again and the fries were burnt and the ribs were tough like eating jerky. They were short staffed with only one server, the cook seems to be lazy and barely putting in any effort. EDIT: Third time I have gone since the first review and still lacking in quality. Fries are constantly dry and over cooked. Wings looked like they came off a quail or something.... smaller everytime I get them. Woman got the fish and chips and again fries are horrible and the fish was soggy. I have given three chances to correct issues and three times they have gotten worse. Will not come again and highly recommend you dont either.

Worst experience ever never going back we ordered it took 40min to get our food and it wasnt even busy and when we got it they forgot half our food and never came back with it and the food we got was gross and blend we only took two bits and left. At the end we paid 45$ for food that I wouldnt even give to my dog. And now we are feeling sick like we want to throw up

Last few times were bad today was one of the best meals iv actually had in this area and perfect service compared to other days and places new staff and cook makes all the difference. 5star for today great cook and service happy to spend and tip

Please read up on animal care, set ups for both crested geckos are completely wrong, as well as the fish tank. So many fish that do not belong with the other tank mates inhabited in the tank. If you are to have live animals in the restaurant please provide them with the proper care they deserve.

We had eaten here and I had the taquitos with home fries, desert was the funnel cake fries and I mean this when I say I have NEVER had better tasting food especially the desert in my entire life. Quadruple A+ from me, highly recommended for a place with good food and great customer service

The waiters, the kitchen and the bar lack a lot of service and organization, they take a long time to take the order, they serve in parts, etc... However, the food is good.

It took us an hour and a half for fish and chips, and two dinner meals.

Food was good, felt like the meat needed more seasoning, maybe a side of gravy, didn t think to ask for one in the moment. I asked if the fried ice cream had cinnamon and they said only the chips did but when it was served to me it didn t come with any chips. Loved the decorations and the child playing area

I ve given this place a few chances, across several years, and it is simply bad. The food is bland, the service is mediocre at best, and the wait times are atrocious. Easily one of the worst places you can eat on the river.

Resteraunt was empty, waited over an hour for our food but ended up leaving because it was taking way to long.

Very disappointed this time! The food was cold and overcooked. The waitress had probably a bad day. She put the drinks and food very rough on the table and want to give us our bill even we were still eating. On top of all this the washroom was in very bad shape.

It was OK... The staff were lovely! But the food wasnt great, the fish in the fish and chips was soggy rather than crispy. The steak was over cooked. Nachos were good. The appetizers were perfect.

So I kind of expected more from a chain store (meaning that they uphold certain standards). I had a steak. I had asked for medium rare, but It came more medium well. My daughter had curly fries and was expecting them to have some spices but they were bare (not even any salt she said). My wife had nachos but it had too much ranch dressing. All in all the food was ok, just not great. Ill probably still go to jungle Jims in the future. They typically offer good food.

Service was mediocre. Apps came out at the same time as the mains. The food wasnt great. Not likely to return.

Overall very good. The server made us feel a bit rushed by continuously asking us if everything was ok. We were asked about 6 times in less than half an hour eating, when twice would have been sufficient.

Food was cold, service was slow, waitress never checked on us once to see how our food was or if we needed anything else, drink refills or napkins. I would not recommend. I had what they call the godfather ( chicken Alfredo) and it was cold to the touch the cheese wasnt even melted. Only good thing was spinach dip and pretty hard to screw that up. Will not be back Boyfriends meal was hot but came on a hot skilled so hard to screw that up. He was not impressed with the service either. Kid-friendliness: Play room for kids. Dont have kids but seen the playroom

Good but not wow.

The food is not the greatest. Ive tried several items off of the menu. Kids menu is not great either. Service is okay but no one seems to be happy to work there. The play area is a nice distraction for the kids. The place is just OK really. The price is a little bit high for what youre getting. I would recommend a different place if youre looking for something a little more above and beyond. Check out Namaste or Chatters.

Exelent services made me feel great for my birthday

Waited an hour for food which never even came. Just left, pretty sure they literally forgot about me cause everyone who came in after me got their food. Really dissapointed I understand theyre busy but it doesnt take an hour to make a wrap when everyone else got their food even after coming in after me.

I took all our kids to kick off the start of march break on a saturday afternoon, we waited an hour for our meals which was fine but the fries were over done, my rice bowl was cold and there was a fry in it and honestly for the money I spent I didnt feel it was very good. They brought out two of the kids meals, then served the table next to us that came in long after us, then they brought out the other kids stuff. My sons Dino nuggets only had 3 nuggets while the others had 4. Im not a complainer ever, but it was necessary to leave a review. The staff was nice.

The food was not as good as other Jungle Jim restaurants. Other then that the service was good.

Sat for 35 minutes in a nearly empty resturant. When I asked if we were forgotten about as the table beside us got their meal, the waitress states well it takes 12 minutes to make the burger....no apology. Terrible attitude and service. Good food though.

I am updating my review from a 3 to 5 star experience having recently returned to find new owners have taken over since late 2019 and service has definitely improved. I have been to Jungle Jims twice in the last two weeks and both visits have been delicious, affordable, and filled with friendly employees. Nachos, burgers, bowls, and desserts are great! Will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Vegan bowl on the menu and many lacto-ovo vegetarian options. Had the one piece fish and chips but it was soggy. Like it was baked instead of deep fried. Of course some people like it that way but not me. Everything else was great

Worst food I have been given at a restraunt in a very long time. The waitress was incredible and the only reason for the 2 stars. She was quick friendly and attentive. But the food was atrocious.

This was the worst food I had in the area to date. Wings taste like fish and the rest of the kitchen sink platter was pure grease.

Not good! 15$ for 6wings and nothing else for side! Not worth it charged for a 10wings platter! And only ordered 6 totaly not impress! Wasnt good! Poutine wasnt good neither was the cesard salad!

15$ for 6 wing is unbelievable, they forget our poutine and only ask 25 minutes after if we still wanted, and if you have a table where customers can see in the kitchen make sure the cook don t lick the mayo of the spoon and figuers

I would not even recommend a 1 Was visiting from Fredericton and stopped in with family, ordered 2 kitchen sinks, was horrified at it. The chicken wings or tenders wernt cooked through, the onion rings were doughy and fries were hard not cooked.. I told the server she said well that iant appealing is it and walked aw, never took it off bill or offered a replacement. Messaged the restaurant directly through messenger and now there giving me the run around asking a million questions. Thats ok Im thinking about calling a health inspector maybe because the table down from ua also had food complaints

Went multiple occasions and we keep having the same issues. Food takes forever to come to the table and not everyone gets their food at the same time... Waited over an hour for a basic meal. Even takes long to get drinks. 2 out 3 toilet stalls were disgusting and the third one had no locks.

I went here for a family dinner, we had to wait 10 minutes to order anything, and we waited 40 minutes for an appetizer. Food was okay, and servers are polite but very frustrated with the slow kitchen. Never mind just got food, fries are burnt, steak is hard and extremely thin, alfredo is just cheese, and vegetables are disgusting. Not recommended

The food was not good, they dont have spaghetti sauce neither. It was on my birthday that I was there last and the waitress said that they dont offer anything whatsoever when I had asked and it was my boyfriends birthday the day before. I wasnt expecting a free meal but even a candle on a piece of pie or something that I wanted to pay for was rejected.

myself My wife and daughter are there today...1hr to get our meal. Mine was very bland luke warm.God father...wife and daughters meal.. honey garlic chicken bowl was cold..took 20 Minutes to get our waitresses attention...she took the 2 bowls back and could hear the chef refer to our reasoning why it went back.. went to pay .and no discount or anything..I questioned our waitress and she apologized but said we agreed that our meal was fine...so we probably wont be back any time soon.

The food was good, the service was slow, even though there was hardly no one there. We went on a Wednesday, which is wing night, and it was not full and we still waiting a long time to be served and 2 of us received our meals and we almost done before the 3rd person hot theirs. Also, I ordered the Chocolate Monkey and it was practically still milkshake thick and hard to get through a straw. At least the food was good I guess.

Very long wait for drinks and food. Our order was inaccurate. Because we were a group of more than 8 people, they forced us to pay the 15% gratuity as it was added on our billed by the manager. We will not return.

The place was freezing. Waitress brought food and no utensils so by the time we received utensils the food was cold. Had to ask for our appetizers after we received our lunch even though she wrote down she forgot to order. There was no offer to replace or reheat my order. She did discount my bill but I still paid $33 for two appetizers we had to ask for twice after our supper order arrived. Will never go back.

I usually meet my sister halfway *ends up being miramichi* when we see each other. I might take up that offer on our next visit.

Service is very slow took 20 minutes to take our order, got ice tea for a drink tasted like water. Very dirty there was food and a dirty fork under our table. Walls look sticky really gross

We waited a while to even be noticed by a waitress to be seated, and once we were seated, they took forever to come bring us water and take our order. Our waitress was so confused, didn t know what our orders were, and had to wait for a meal because they kept forgetting. Not a pleasant experience, food was mediocre, service wasn t great, I don t recommend.

All our food was burnt, and tasteless. And was over $50 for 2 meals even after we sent pretty well all of our food back. There was crumbs on our table and everything felt sticky, place was empty and staff was loud while eating their own food.. 1/10 won t go again.

Our table had food crumbs and was sticky. The food was highly burnt, to the point where thats all you could taste. The place was quiet until employees were having their lunch and were extremely loud, they didnt even bother to push their own chairs in, one of the employees was the owner. Barely ate our food and still paid $53 for it, waiter didnt care about that fact and didnt ask about our meal.

Yesterday I was at the Miramichi location, I was on a trip and driving by Miramichi, I always had good experience at other locations before, so I thought I could bring my kids(3) there to relax and have a snack before we hit the road again. It was 20h15 when we got there, 45min before closing time, I ordered a appetizer combo to share between each other, not the most complicated meal, it took 45minutes to get the plate. It was almost closing time when we started eating. The meal was probably left out in the deep frier for too long and got forgotten, because it was so overcooked and dry. Taquitos were missing and there was a lot of crumbs taken from the bottom of the deep frier in our plate. Kids didnt like it at all, my son couldnt sleep after that and had painful stomach. I got 25% off my bill, the waitress was kind, but I had to complain to her that the food wasnt coming after 45min, which she shouldve known because we were the last customers of the day. The reason why it took so long, she said: there was only one cook in the kitchen...we were the only customer left in the restaurant, you dont need 10 cooks to serve a deep fried meal. Im really disappointed and I dont recommand this location to anybody.

More clients there than I expected on a snowy Monday night...many kids. Then, quiet during tea and delicious white chocolate mousse, gluten-free brownie based dessert. Good friend sealed the deal!!

A few years ago I gave this location a one star review, but I am happy to change that after my most recent visit. There have been some changes to the presentation of the food that I found appealing. We received great customer service and our food was delicious.

I had an absolutely fabulous burger at this location. Meat was cooked perfectly, veggies were crisp, bacon was crispy and the bun was super fresh! Clean bathrooms, good parking and a fantastic staff. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

Waited 20 mins after being seated and nobody served me. Left and went to Boston pizza and had good within 20 mins.

While waiting for our food, a pan was brought to a table sizzling and smoking and the table had said last time we ordered this, it did not come this way Had been here before and the food was amazing, seams to be going a little downhill...

Normally I love this restaurant we live 1h30 from this restaurant its not saying that I dont like going to eat there.. but despite the 15% discount I received my order cost a good $150 with the drinks..la last visit was a real disaster on the culinary side which means that we will no longer go to this restaurant the steaks were more than burning not to mention the half-cooked ribs sorry but swiss chalet serves a nicer plate for less money... we are hear you know next time thats where were going to go

We went for wing night. Staff was very courteous and attentive. Prices are reasonable. their menu is fun and different from the same old burgers and fries. There are places where a bit of upkeep is needed, our booth had last customers utensils and crayons on the floor. But its understandable when servers get busy and dont notice these things right away.

Atmosphere top notch, very nice waitress as well as yummy food. Got to try the fried apple cheesecake.

We just had the most delicious meal at Jungle Jims in Miramichi.. ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, steak was perfectly cooked and tender , wings were delicious as were the fries and baked potato!

Best food in town hands down, there drink menu and desserts are also killer. The staff are super friendly and nice. I love this place. Its my favourite restaurant.
