Really tasty! The waitress and staff are nice, it comes relatively fast doesn t take too too long from what I recall, they also have a cute robot that delivers the food sometimes. Would recommend ^^.

Don t waste your money! Very bad service always, consistently. Ordered couple of items for dinner dine in. The salmon in salmon teriyaki dinner box was foul smelling and off. When told the lady/owner she rolled her eyes. No apology and offered 50 percent off salmon. This was not the first time. Never going back again.

Favourite sushi place in Mission, hands down!

Food is ok. Not very polite. They also package rolls with sauces with everything else. So you end up with spicy sauce over every roll you ordered. Makes it frustrating when one person enjoys spicy and the other does not. Food

Second time here and the lady that works here is so rude each time I go in. Atmosphere and first impressions is everything she kept asking me if I was doing take out she wouldnt stop asking me I answered her the first time she kept asking omg so rude and she asked again when I was going to pay like lady wth dont u understand I said yes for take out! Hope thr food is good I cant remember what it was like last time I was here. I just want the authentic chicken Karage uhg

This place use to be the best sushi in lower mainland. But in last couple years the service has gone way down. And food now is just average

Sushi is okay. But service is awful. If dine in is your plan it s okay. If your ordering however make sure to always give them 1 hour more time then they need. Iv ordered here personally more then a few times and every time they are way behind and it s always the same excuse. They just don t care to be straight up and tell people that there will be a wait. Totally cool to be busy but be straight up about your service time I don t mind the wait but I expect it to be ready when I show up if that s the time you give me.

Ordered and paid for food from their website and had our friend pick it up. When he picked it up they charged him again for the food and were very rude to him when he went back for a refund.

Robot server was the only one that wanted to be there. No one seats you, just take a table at random. Hope they notice you are in a seat. Over heard another patron state we are ready to order when you are ready. Other dine in customers were told to grab there own dishes. Once the meal was completed we were very quickly given the machine to pay for food. Had to ask to see the bill.

We ordered over the phone and picked up our food. Staff was very kind and friendly on the phone. The inside of the restaurant was clean and inviting. Plus there is a robot that delivers food to the tables. The food was amazing. Best sushi Ive ever had. Very authentic and delightful. Will be back! Just keep in mind that you need to order at the counter as there is no servers. The prices are good and reasonable. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options

Absolutely love this place the younger lady at the counter is so sweet and greets us every time we come in I love this place :)

This is more of an attraction than it is a place to eat and the robot was the best part but wasn t even in use, One of the worst sushi experiences I ve had, wouldn t come back out wouldn t even recommend to people I dislike. Owner does not care about the food they put out or the customers they serve

A nice little place at the Junction shopping centre. Good portions, some different style rolls, lots of variety, and decent quality. The service was great, smiles all the while, and things came out well timed. We will for sure be back again, gotta try some more of the rolls! Kid-friendliness: The two tables at the front had younger children - they sent out the robot server and it was a HIT :). Was good to see them enjoying their time too.

Normally we have a sorta ok dinner experience but tonight was just horrible. My family and I ended up buying dinner for ourselves ($140 worth of food) and ended up finding a long, white worm in our wild sockeye Nigiri. We all ended up throwing our food out in disgust and when we phoned to complain the lady manager / owner sorta just brushed it off and said to come back down. So I drove back down to talk to her. I told her what happened and explain how it is unexceptional to find this in my food so she tried to give me a refund and when I insisted on more then a $25 refund she refused because apparently the food was just fine and just ended up only giving me $25.15 in cash because her machine wasnt working. Vegetarian options: They say there is but is only like 3 things

Very mediocre sushi.. have had much better and have had worse. However, Terrible service and won t be back based on that. You have to pay and tip prior to sitting down and I left a good tip not knowing what to expect and still had an awful experience for dine in.

Best sushi I have ever had, anywhere. Best sushi in mission. So fresh & the rolls are beautifully done. We are regulars at this sushi bar and will be for a long time. Feb 2023 update: I am definitely a regular monthly customer (for years) & recently I have found the quality of my usual orders have gone way down hill. Yesterday the rice was terrible & the rolls therefore were mushy and measly. That s just one example, but I ve been disappointed the last 3 times. I am truly sad to update this review.

Delicious Sushi rolls

Don t eat here. We literally couldn t eat here. We were ignored for over 30 minutes and never had a server. She walked past us several times, serving others. We asked if we should or at the counter and we re told no. Then was rudely told we have to order at the counter. It s too bad. I wanted to support local, but won t be here again. I should have believed the other reviewers.

Clean floors and toilet too - good. Bad sides are: 1- Small tables that have 4 chairs are not meant for 4 people. Max 3 people fit with one person on edge of table. So people who pass by your table can easily hit you or your chair or table if you move it out a bit. 2- Miso soup is always cold. And spoons are being placed on table. Not good practice for after covid period. Who knows if table was cleaned at all and how it was cleaned? 3- Last time of visit lady gave the glass of cold water. She did not ask what to bring tea or water. Cold water and sushi and other Asian food are not compatible at all. Only tea made of rice and green tea leaves is compatible with sushi and other Asian food. Or at least Asahi beer.... 4 - Green tea does not even taste like tea and always super hot. Cups are terrible. They dont have a ring. When tea is super hot, cup is thin and does not have a ring its insane to hold the cup and drink fake tea. 5 - Sushi and sashimi are too small, but prices are unreasonably high. So cannot afford to order too much or something special.

As far as sushi rolls go this place was my favourite. However the customer service is so bad I will never be back. The woman (owner) has had several interactions with me that were rude in nature. Once I was ignored for about 10 minutes after being seated and told to wait even though the restaurant was empty . Another time my card didn t go through the first time and she was so rude and started yelling to the others in her first language clearly talking abt me. On several occasions when getting Take out she very reluctantly gave me extra soy sauce and argued with me that I had enough because she had included two little packets for a $40 order. Just hands down negative vibe every time I ve went to the point the food was not worth the visit anymore

Sometimes this place can be really good But I have a huge complaint. Stop putting hot soup on raw fish dishes. Its so gross and it totally makes the raw fish warm I have complained about that so many times. Pls stop lol just put them in different bags!

Horrible service, unfriendly staff with very poor english skills. You have to check your food to make sure its all there and what you ordered. Twice we took our food home and items were missing. When you phone to tell them, they try to tell you its you who is making the mistake and then argue about it. They will not try to make it right by sending someone to deliver missing items. There is no remorse. One other thing we find offensive is their charge for take out bags, yet they will pay dearly to use food delivery services. You would think a take out order picked up by a customer would be more appreciated by them and rewarded with a small discount. Wont be going back even though the food is OK.

Your spicy salmon & tuna cone rolls gave my boyfriend food poisoning. Plus the customer service was very mediocre

We came for dinner. Our waitress Malia was super friendly. We ordered the dinner combo and was shocked with how much food was given. Expected a bento style dinner box but got a full order of beef teriyaki, a full dynamite roll, tempura, miso soup. Very good food. Definitely will go again.

I arrived to pick up my order. I follow the arrows on the floor to where Im greated by an empty restaurant with the only person cleaning a table with her cart blocking the isle. She was friendly and directed me to the counter , where I had to walk around the dish cart as she followed. I paid for my meal, she directed me to order #44, I asked if it was complete, she confirmed. I was glad to be in and out quickly, but sad to see when I got home I was missing the dynamite roll that was to be included in the teriyaki dinner. I was informed that there was an attempt to follow me out. I ask, if I was missed, why didnt you call???

Excellent sushi, on par with some of the best sushi shops in Vancouver; good-sized portions; decent service and about as much ambience as can be fit into its strip-mall location.

Went for lunch .They dont seat you or come and take your order i had to go to the counter and order myself ,I paid for my meal at that time.The girl there did actually bring me my food .I ate and left. Was half way across the parking lot and she comes out screaming that i didnt pay for my meal.In front of many people which was very embarassing .I had to walk back with her to prove i already paid.If they werent so cheap and hired a staff to seat you take your order and bring your bill this wouldnt happen.Also offered no compensation for the embarassment .Should be called Self checkout Sushi.Expect to be treated like a theif .

Ordered 45 minutes before close on a Sunday for takeout and food was ready in 15 minutes. Food was delicious and as fresh as eating in the restaurant, friendly staff, super happy with the large cuts of sashimi and the fish tasted really fresh. Super delicious, will definitely order again!!!

The fact this place is still in business is awful honestly ive ordered from here on multiple occasions seeing as that its the only place that does delivery well thats a joke since every single time i have done it my food has always been wrong it takes way longer than they say it will take but waiting isnt the issue its the fact that i oder my food and have had food missing in my orders and they just say they forgot to make it but still charge me.

Slow got food poisoning stay away

My wife loves the tofu teriyaki dish. Its fairly cheap for the amount you get. Staff are always busy but nice.

I had asked nicely for two separate containers because I have a seafood allergy and my husband doesn t, but the food came in a single container all jumbled together. The mission roll was mulched up tuna, when it was supposed to be real crab meat, so my husband wasn t too impressed. When I went to let them know, the lady had a temper fit at me, complete with swearing at me in Korean. (Word to the wise: if you re going to have a fit at someone and swear at them, make sure they don t know what you re saying ) Count on the same response if you even have to tell them something is wrong with what you ordered from them. Never going back.

Definitely edible. Sockeye Sashimi was great. Nice and fresh. The rest tasted like it was day old. Better choices in town for sure. Despite being polite the staff seemed devoid of emotion. Unfortunately won t be returning here.

We went there to try it out because we were looking for a Japanese food place here in mission thats as good as the place on Burnaby & this place is almost as good, the food was fresh & very tasty. We ordered the teriyaki chicken & prawn tempura & it was delicious. 5 out 5, do recommend going here if youre in the mood for some really good Japanese food.

Worst customer service ever. They omitted our agedashi tofu. Lied and blamed the skip driver for missing a bag when they have always placed the agedashi tofu in the same bag. They also put the veg rolls in the same container as the meat when we specifically asked them to be separate. And somehow they felt this was the skip driver s fault too? They also wanted me to drive down there to pick up the corrected order when I paid for delivery.

A great lunch spot, happy their restaurant seating is open again. I enjoyed the agadeshi tofu and gomae.

Customer Service is not good. I phoned in my order, the woman repeated it back to me and it was correct. I drove 20 min to picked up my food and drove 20 min home. Only to find out that they missed 2 large rolls and gave us a random small role in its place. Then the 2 orders of deep fried tofu we ordered were packaged ontop of a bed of lettuce...for take out. Piping hot tofu and lettuce? It turned the tofu and lettuce into a mushy inedible greasy soup. I called the restaurant to explain the issue with the missing rolls and they just said oh sorry we missed it. Didnt offer replacements or any type of solution. I actually had to argue with the woman to get them to make the 2 rolls we needed. When i got back to the restaurant, the woman behind the till tried to get me to pay for the 2 missing rolls, AFTER the original bill charged my for the random roll i did not order. I explained that I would pay for 1 of the rolls, since i was already charged for food I didnt order. After a few mine she agreed. When i got home the 2 replacement rolls were full of fish bones!!! After this entire ordeal i was left with a $100 bill and 1/3rd of the food was inedible. Never again will I go there. If you want good sushi in mission go to Youngs Kitchen. Best in town. ...and why are all the positive reviews local guides only?

Ordered 2 rolls that were supposed to be spicy and they were not spicy what so ever... disappointing taste

Fist time here. Don t bother dining in. We are sitting amongst a stream of skip the dish drivers waiting for our food for 40 mins now. Just watched it go by to another table. They left it at the wrong table for five minutes, then retrieved it took it back to the kitchen. Can t tell if the dish that was delivered is the same one the other table had. Pretty sure it is because my crazy roll is cold. Still waiting for the other half of our order that they didn t ring in.

Ordered 4 dinner boxes from them. Was exactly as described. Tempura was great. Mixed suomono was great, and something different than the usual Ebi. My dynamite roll was iffy at best. Seems like they put teriyaki sauce on it. Sashimi tasted really fishy - worse than canned tuna/salmon. Normally thats a bad sign.

Not a great experience overall experience. I ordered with their online platform; it never updated to being completed so I just went in. I ordered a dynamite roll, salmon maki and tuna maki. The dynamic roll was covered in what can only be described as fried saw dust. The topping absorbed the sauce and it was gross. The roll had zero taste. The tuna and salmon maki were ok but they were blah and lacked flavour. Soya sauce helped. I won t be going back here EVER!!!

Shocked to find shards of PLASTIC in my salmon avocado roll tonight, normally no issues here but this is terrible. The pieces of plastic are thick and sharp too.

Ive been going here since I moved to mission 12 years ago. Not sure whats happened but in the last few years their quality has become a disappointment. Its like they had a meeting and decided to cut out 50% of the flavour and go with cheaper ingredients. I can get better yaki soba from Costco. The California rolls are meally and pasty. Not quite the combo you want in your sushi. Had to ask my wife to remind me to not order from them again.

Food is pretty good but you have to know what to order. I usually get spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls and theyre simple but great. Some other items are really bland like the yakisoba Ive had in the past.

We called about four times trying to order sushi a few weeks ago. They would pick up the phone and hang up. We drove down and went to order thinking something was wrong with the phone. They seemed like they were too busy and didnt want to range our order at all. We left and went somewhere else.

Everyone is wearing masks except chefs and chefs eating or touch nose ,eyes woth same gloves. Not recommend in panademic specially.

The portion here are REALLY REALLY good. My husband and i usually share one dinner box with a few other appetizers. The quality is decent enough.

Terrible experience every time I ve been here. This most recent visit was April 1 2021. Pickup order was 45 minutes late, food was also incorrect. No wasabi or ginger supplied with $70 order of food. To top it off, hair was found in chicken teriyaki. I called restaurant to speak to them about my order and they hung up on me. Avoid this place.

Waited over a hour for my rolls and when they were finally ready none of them were what I ordered and found copious amounts of hair in them. They won t answer the phone so thought I would leave this here.

These guys are horrible. They screw up every single order and when you phone to tell them that they screwed up they hang up on you.

I pre ordered takeout. Was told it will be 5o minutes. I waited 5o minutes.. got there to pick up my order and they had forgotten my order, didnt seem apologenic, didnt offer to rush my meal, didnt offer any compensation. Very unimpressed.

I ve never had such rude service in my life, I watched the lady who owns the place yell at customers. My order got messed up and I didn t notice till I got home, I called and was very polite and told her it was wrong and if I could come back, she yelled at me on the phone the entire time. So awkward and rude. Foods good though lol

I was really disappointed with the service. I placed my order and paid.When I returned to pick up my order. They couldnt find it. Only to see them direct me to the food I had ordered placed on a table inside the restaurant right up close to where customers were lined up. I found this unkind and unsafe during this time of COVID

Best sushi in town!

First time we ordered here, we picked up our food and noticed we were missing half our order, went back and they accused us of taking the items were missing and wouldn t replace them, even though we paid. Gave them another chance today and placed an order. Waited 45 mins and went in to check on our order and they told us we never called. Told us we called the wrong number and even showed them our call history that we called the correct number as listed. Absolutely terrible service! Will never order from them again.

One of the worst sushi places Ive ever been to vegi tempura sauce had no flavor salmon roll was brutal could barely eat it and they didnt give us any soy sauce so when we went back in to get some she said she put it in the bag and only gave us one pack Ill never eat at this place again

I just had the same meal I have ordered many times delivered and it was not edible, rang and got told to take it up with skip the dish that the food is not cooked. Never again

I ve been frequenting this restaurant since it opened. Over the years they have continuously improved, adding innovative and interesting items to their menu. My cousin and I went for my birthday lunch yesterday, and I tried some of the newer items for the first time. We ordered four specialty rolls total. I ve got to say, each one was fantastic! I couldn t decide which was my favourite, they were all so good. They were accommodating to my food sensitivity and changed some of the sauces for me, which I appreciated. They brought the rolls all out at the same time, which I really loved. Most sushi places bring things out piece by piece, and I way prefer having them all served at once. So that was great too! Not sure if this is a regular thing for them though. All in all, I ve loved this restaurant for years, and it appears as though I will love it for years to come!

I do enjoy this place and have eaten there many times. Unfortunately the last time I went things were a little off and didnt taste right. If I had not ordered it to go I probably would have asked to have my order redone. I would not discourage you to eat there though.

I purchased a order for pickup, they showed me my reciept and I confirmed. Upon coming home I realized that the order wasnt mine at all. I drove all the way just to show them that the order was wrong and my order was on the counter infront of the cashier the whole 35 mins it took me to get back to the junction. They asked me if I took the food that I got wrong back. I confirmed it because I wanted to show it was the wrong order. To my surprise they legitimatly took back the food and took it to the back of the kitchen. I hope with this Corona thing they arent giving it to that customer it actually belonged to.

If I could give NO stars, I would. Horrible customer service. We decided to try another sushi place & support our local restaurants. It was a special day, my sons grad & thought we would celebrate with their favourite, Sushi! BAD Idea!!!! Portions were sad, tasteless, & honestly felt like I went to the grocery store for lunch hour to grab a quick lunch sushi in a box!!! There definitely was no love in the takeout boxes! Actually the grocery store sushi box had more character than these takeout boxes! After I asked about a of a sushi dish & I got a expressionless & annoyed answer, I should ve went with my gut instinct & went to our usual sushi place! Save your money, don t go!!

Placed a large order for take out. Enough to feed 8. Price was reasonable and everyone loved it. The tempura was not greasy, the sushi was fresh, teriyaki, excellent. Thanks Junction Sushi!

I ordered 2 tamago rolls for $7.40 but they gave me 2 tamago nigiri which wouldve costed me $3.50. So I didnt have enough food, and I paid about $4 for less food. Tasted good though!

Spicy salmon roll is the best that I have had. Unfortunately, after having had multiple incidents of unfriendly service, as well as incorrect orders for takeout food, we have taken our business elsewhere.

Awesome lunch menus

They forgot the miso soup and then tried to charge us. Had to ask twice for spicy mayo, had to ask for water and tea refills. Food is decent.

Love the food

I called in about 20 minutes before arriving because I was on my lunch break, I told them that I was going to eat in once at the beginning of the call and the second time at the end of the call. When I got there, they had all of my food packed up in to go containers and didnt want me to eat in at the restaurant. Unagi roll was falling apart because it was soaking in the BBQ sauce. My gyoza was bone dry. The prices are different online then what they charge in store. I love sushi but this was a disappointing lunch!

Impressive quality & quantity for your dollar. Personally the tempura would would be more to my liking cooked at a higher temperature I would have spoken up if our server had asked or for that matter came by our table after our order was taken she was mia....not impressed

We love it here! We usually get take out. They are always fast and friendly. Tonight our dinner was so good! I love the yakiudon and I requested fried tofu as a meat alternative with it and it was soooooooo amazing! Highly recommend!

Horrible customer service from one of the younger servers. She got my order wrong, served me a roll that was double the price. I felt like it would ve been a waste for her to throw it out, so I told her don t worry about throwing it out, however asked if she could charge me for the roll i originally ordered (when it was time to pay) and she argued with me about it, telling me I should have just sent it back. I thought i was being considerate not asking them to throw out and waste such a big roll, but apparently not. I didn t even finish it, only had two pieces of it. I told her I thought it was better for me not to throw it out rather than ask her to remake me the new one, she scoffs at me and rudely said it doesn t matter , continuing to argue. Not going back there again

Customer service very underwhelming. The Korean waitress is cold, and unaccommodating. We were 15 minutes after 3pm and asked if we could still order the lunch special. No was the answer. Other places that know how to make customers happy have no issue with this. We walked out and went to their competitor who appreciates our business.

Great sushi and a decent sized menu with a lot of options. The service is always wonderful when we have gone here and we have never been disappointed in the food. The prices are very reasonable for what you get as well!

Mixed Sunomono was excellent. Fresh seafood, good flavour. Good vinegar broth as well. Not too sweet and sour enough for my taste. Prawn Tempura was fresh, hot, and crispy. No wonder my friend who took me here spoke highly of Junction Sushi. I would recommend this place to visitors of Mission looking for nice food. Service was a little inattentive, but fast regardless. We were in for a bite then off on our way quickly.
