White Spot Mission in Mission

Historically the service here has always been poor. Constantly short-staffed it seems? When dining in, food commonly takes almost an hour to arrive, leading to a near hunger mutiny from the kids. Only reason we keep coming back is because our toddler loves pirate packs. If you re ordering take-out, always go through the entire bag before you leave. Guaranteed something will be missing.

Ordered the fish and chips and unfortunately the fish was mostly batter with absolutely little fish in it. I wouldnt recommend ordering their cod. Very disappointed I hope they read this and finally change it. They were the smallest cod pieces I have ever seen and they were overcooked! Bigger portions of fish are needed

I order via door dash, delivery went smooth but the sandwich was horrible and I would be embarrassed to serve what they send me. I ordered a club sandwich. Burnt bacon, no triple O sauce on it, barely any lettuce. I spent $30 total in it. This spot location should be torn down, it s terrible inside too smells dirty and old.

We had dinner tonight my husband ordered the steak, which says mashed potatoes (which he didnt get) he ordered the mushrooms as a side which he received. He asked for a salad as a side. We asked the waitress about the potatoes which she replied you got a salad so you dont get potatoes..to say this was a White Spot disappointment is an understatement. Worst food. I have been disappointed 2 times now. Food is so stale and flavourless. Couldn t take a second bite of the 3 dishes we ordered. Save your money and time and don t bother going here.

Service was very slow from our server Manisha.We waited a long time for our appies and zoo sticks were only slightly warm. The meal was wrong when it finally came. Our son ordered a chicken burger and got a beef burger. The fish was over cooked and very hard. We asked for several things that we never received, some vinegar refills on pop and coffee came after we were finished. Very disappointing for White Spot

I m not sure why they do not get there air conditioning fixed in their restaurant. I have been at the restaurant on 3 occasions this summer and the AC is not working. The temperature in the restaurant is 81 degree Fahrenheit ridiculous!

Waited for over 20 minutes to get served after sitting as a tow truck driver i am hard pressed for time it is very limited for me to break 3 waitress walking buy me I probably wont go back as Ive found with this location there is only one good waitress most the time Im choking on my food with an empty cup sad realy

Its ok. They had no ac, and the place was so hot. I dont understand why they didnt have the doors open . That would have helped so much. Their kitchen is so slow. Took an hour for food to come out. The food was just ok. Nothing special.

went with my boyfriend tonight and had Layla as our server. she was great! super friendly, on top of checking on us and kept our drinks full. she was awesome! update: was here tonight and the AC wasn t working inside so everyone was sitting outside. the two poor girls running the show in there. It was so hot inside the restaurant that we had to sit outside where it was just as hot. After waiting 45 minutes for our food to come, I went inside and asked a waitress about our order. The waitress came back about 5 minutes later with our food. My plate had clearly been sitting under the heat lamp for some time as my sides were cold and the lettuce on my wrapped burger was wilted and my coleslaw was very warm. They were nice enough to re wrap my burger and give me fresh coleslaw but by the time my plate came back my burger was cold and the patties were super dry. My husband also had to wait an extremely long time for his second drink so he ended up canceling the order. The manager was nice enough to take the food off of our bill and only charge us for our beverages so that was nice.

Ive had better food at the Costco cafeteria. Im not mad or even upset. This is only an observation.

Too HOT, broken A/C. The minute I sat down I looked at recent reviews for this location and saw others over a week ago complaining about the lack of A/C. If the A/C had just failed I could understand - but to see this has been ongoing for a while leads me to wonder what else isnt being maintained? Is the kitchen clean? Unacceptable.

Staff is very friendly, food is not so good. We got two burgers and both were very pink. $100 for food and we weren t even able to eat half of it due to it being take out.

We ordered a number of happy hour items and 2 pirate packs for the kids. All of the happy hour items were below average. Ribs and wings probably could have been cooked a few minutes longer. They werent crispy enough. The coconut shrimp was definitely undercooked - the batter was soggy/mushy. Just really unappetizing. I wouldnt recommend ordering any of these items. The pirate packs were their saving grace. The portions were very generous, and the sides are bottomless. They have a lot of different side options, not just fries. Kids can choose from fries, salad, apple slices, grapes, veggies and dip, or steamed veggies. Pirate packs come with drinks and ice cream for dessert. Wed come back as a fun dining experience for the kids, but it otherwise wouldnt be at the top of my list. Kid-friendliness: Highchairs and booster seats available. Extensive kids menu. Pirate packs are always a hit with the kids!

July 17 2024 ... visited ... store does not appear to have functional air conditioning ... so ... its hotter than comfortable ... know before u go.

Our young waitress was not to blame for the long wait (90min) to get our birthday dinner on the table. Understaffed and dated franchise. $20 for a bowl of lettuce???@&

The service was excellent! And their milkshakes are one of my favorites, My compliments go to the waiter and chef. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten friendly options As well as vegetarian options

So I got a poutine and those cheese curds were so dry and the gravy looked like gelatin and it tasted weird and, my mom got these chicken tacos and got food poisoning from it and her friend got a drink and threw up a few hours later. I only recommend this place if your like dying of starvation and have no where else to go.

My daughter and I came here for mommy daughter date night. Our server was absolutely wonderful She had chicken strips in the on Frys pirate pack and ordered the brownie dessert for an extra dollar.50 and we were blown away by the portion! That dessert was enough for both of us and there was still some left over The BC chicken burger with yamum fries and coleslaw and it was so delicious! My last few times here were not great but this one has won me over. Definitely will come back

I have gone to different white spots before . This was the worst by far . We had ordered our food and about 15 min later was told they were out of Brussels sprouts and had to re order something else and took 45 min for our food to come out and it was so stale and not fresh.

EDIT After the owner of the mission White Spot reached out to me through this Google review I emailed them as per their request and never heard back from them Family of 6 server sat us at 7 finally got our food at 815 it was dead in here maybe 3 tables my daughters fries were missing from her meal everyone elses were Luke warm My other child was missing one of her chicken strips The tomatoes in our burger / sandwich were so soggy it was truly disgusting we pulled them out real quick The fries were so salty we could barely eat them Probably never going back Here maybe another location

Well trained staff. Seems like they have upped their game in the kitchen. The food has really improved over the last few months. Definitely recommend.

The last two times we went our food took over an hour to make and we had to go to the server to request drink refills and fixes to our food. It took 30 minutes just to get our kids drinks! The restaurant wasnt even busy

Terrible service. Waitress was absolutely horrible. Took an hour for food and only had 1 other table didn t bring us waters till we asked. Currently waiting for forks right now to eat my food and still haven t gotten them. Garbage!

I have had the legendary burger many times but at this location it was smaller than normal and the bun was cold. The waitress was awesome but I am not impressed with the cook. I wont be eating at this location again.

Absolutely horrible. Rude staff, walking away as you are trying to talk. Giving half orders of the full order you asked for and not even listening fully to what we ordered and got it wrong. Manager came out to speak to us but was arguing and speaking over us. She was very rude and unprofessional and definitely not how a manager should act towards upset customers. Definitely wont be back. Not worth our time and the prices are through the roof for what you get.

We just had another wonderful dining experience at your restaurant. Curtis was our server and took fantastic care or us. In our group of five, three of us had complex dietary restrictions, and two were hearing impaired. Curtis was endlessly patient, attentive and caring. The food was delicious and Curtis great service has definitely impacted our Christmas weekend in a very positive way. We will be back and will definitely be recommending your restaurant to friends Thank you! Our only concern, was that your restaurant was very cold and we needed to keep our jackets and hats on.

White Spot Mission is a family tradition for us. Weve gotten to know the servers who are efficient and friendly. The food is great! Our Sundays would not be the same without breakfast at White Spot. Thanks, Emily. A wonderful Christmas to all of you!

This is one of my favourite places to go for Men s Breakfast on Saturday s! The staff here are amazing, Curtis always takes care of gents and I. They have always been able to accommodate our needs and it s nice having people that take time to remember their customers. The food is also good, the food for price is fair and it is always brought out promptly. One personal 5 star experience is when I recently had toothaches and Whitespot accommodated my toothache with changing items in my order to help with the toothache - felt well cared for.

I had eggs Benedict. And I asked for the yolks to be runny and they were sort of but they didnt toast the english muffin which was odd

We went to take our grandkids for dinner before taking them to archery. We waited an hour to get our food and my husbands rare steak was well done so he had to wait another 20 mins. By the time we left it was to late to go anywhere else but home.

For a suppose, at 5 to 10 minute wait, we waited 50 minutes for a table and to just get our drink! Couldn t stand the thought of waiting another hour and a half for dinner!

The burger was burnt tasting and hard. I looked at it and it was a thin piece of hamburger broken up, that was black around the edges. The lettuce was white and soggy. My fries were cold and overcooked and hardened. There was only one other person eating in the restaurant, so it wasn t busy. Our power went out so we were starved. Neither of us could eat the entire meal. I wished I stayed home. I have never given a negative restaurant review before, but this food was not fit for human consumption. I will never go back there!

Went in and took advantage of their Happy Hour menu. Zucchini sticks were fresh and crispy. The cheesy perogies came a little on the cool side, they could have been hotter. The poutine was disappointing. The French fries were not fresh. They were somewhat hard. Service by the server was good.

Restaurant not very busy. Service very slow. Went during happy hour. Took 35 minutes to get 4 appies. Server brought tea, but didnt return during the 35 minutes for refills. A male member of our group used the washroom. Said it was disgusting. Price of tea outrageous. Over $4.29. I could understand if you got a fresh teabag with each refill, but 1 teabag and hot water.... robbery. Floor not clean. Will not be going back Food tasteless. And soggy

Service took ONE HOUR after being sat to even get our appetizer. the one server had 10+ tables all on her own( manger issue) Never saw one manager present in helping the busy rush. Does this manager exist?Poor server was running all the table alone. We were told they were waiting on our hash browns, once our food was delivered, everything including the hashbrowns were cold. Food came and they said they d be back with the toast, by the end of finishing the entire meal they finally brought the toast. I did not leave a tip and will not be returning to mission whitespot. xx

My family and I usually enjoy dining at White Spot, which is our favourite restaurant. However, during our recent visit to this particular location, we had an unpleasant experience. Despite informing the server about our cold food and mediocre service, we did not receive any attention from the manager. Regrettably, we spent $127.28 on this disappointing experience, which may have been influenced by the fact that it was a Saturday between 3-5 pm.

Fries were cold, and the dregs of the French fry bag. My double burger was cold, and soggy. Also, was told Id get more zoo sticks in exchange for no caesar salad on the side order. Have had the side order before, and it came with four or five zoo sticks, and the salad. I get my order, and all I had was five in total. Questioned it with the waitress, and she did give me five more. I had mentioned before dinner arrived, that it was my grandsons birthday. Waitress said she would bring a brownie for him. We sat around after dinner expecting it to arrive for him. After waiting a good fifteen minutes, she comes by and asks me if I still wanted the brownie. Like, come on man. What kind of service is that? Ten minutes later it arrived. I normally like to tip well, but after this performance she was lucky to get $10 on my $130 order for my five guests and i. It was very obvious this waitress that served us did not enjoy her job, or at least wasnt cut out to do the job. Ive had poor meals in the past at Mission, but this was by far the worst. I went to White Spot in Abbotsford last summer. Everything about it was far superior to Mission. I wont likely be back.

I give it a a star because of ther server lol. Mediocre food, the floors are so dirty, it smelling like pee. If they are not clean when the guest walk in imagine what s going on in the kitchen. Will probably not return.

The most flavorful part of the breakfast was the hp sauce and I was half done my meal by the time I got it. Everything was swimming in grease. I had to ask to get my coffee refilled and it wasnt busy.

Great place to enjoy a meal with your family. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. I had the chicken brocolli and cheese which is always delightful, the milkshakes here are also amazing.

I don t normally leave reviews but I felt like this was justified. White spot is normally a go-to for a decent meal for me but my experience this afternoon was absolutely disgusting. Immediately off-putting was the booth we were sat at which included a vibrating table and a constant humming from some unknown machinery on the other side of the wall. This was mildly irritating but ignorable because we were just happy to be inside from the heat. The place was not very busy so when we ordered we expected to get our food relatively soon. 1 hour and 30 minutes of a vibrating table later our food arrived and we were greeted with a disappointing brunch menu meal. Keep in mind during this 1 hour and 30 minute wait we received no refills on our waters or anything. No interaction with our table besides when we ordered and even that was a somewhat rude experience. Then when we had finished our meals and we were regretting our choice in restaurant already we started to smell this outrageously disgusting stench. My girlfriend started visibly feeling sick because of the smell. it was that bad. It got so bad that we had to tell our waitress we were going to wait at the front of the restaurant for the bill cause we couldn t stay there. Turns out the smell was caused by the genius design of putting the garbage for the serving station right behind the half-wall next to our booth. That garbage had clearly not been taken out in a long time and the heat wasn t helping. Overall I m extremely disappointed how me and my girlfriend wanted a nice meal to start a off a fun day and we ended the meal disgusted and sick. I will not be returning.

They added extra fries and ice cream for my pregnant wife on a takeout order, and the service was great for the online order pickup.

No complaints on the food. Service wasnt great. Attitudes from the servers were fine, just really slow. She forgot to come back with water refills, 2/3 of the way through my meal I asked for a soda refill and was done with my meal by the time I got it. The check had to be asked for three times. Im understand when its busy but I didnt feel like it was.

It was a very long lunch waiting for a gluten free stir-fry and an onion allergy salad. I think the chef was inexperienced but a manager shouldve stepped up before that long so, I guess its a management situation.

Upon arrival the host greets me and explains that there is at least a 10mon wait...I point out that half the restaurant is empty, as Im walking out the door shes explaining that they dont use half of the restaurant at lunchtime or something as the door closes behind me, if you cant be bothered to staff/clean half of your restaurant , but expect people to wait on a table, your business model is way off.

I almost gave it 2 stars strictly cause our server was really good, but unfortunately the rest was not, 1st I want to thank Natalya I believe was her name, for being a wonderful server and doing your best..... Now the rest, I went with my wife and 3 kids Saturday night (November 18th) the time we went was around 7pm, the restaurant wasnt to busy, yet our food took almost an hour to get served, our waitress apologized and brought most our food stating chicken strips were why it was taking so long, chicken strips are extremely easy and fast to cook so clearly kitchen is struggling, next my wife ordered a turkey, bacon and brie sandwich, the bacon on it was absolutely scorched, extremely burnt, we didnt want a new sandwich just new bacon to save time, money and cause my wife was hungry just wanted to eat, the bread was slightly burnt as well, we didnt complain or make a big deal about it, our waitress was extremely rattled apologizing like crazy, it wasnt her fault the kitchen doesnt know how to cook, or serve eatable food, they even messed up on our kids ice cream flavors!!!! When it came time to pay I started thinking, hmmmm I wonder if they feel bad for messing up, thinking they might give us the cheesecake free or milkshake etc yet nothing, the manager didnt even apologize or approach is despite how terrible the food quality was and the time it took, instead you leave it all on your server who did her absolute best, not happy

Well, have to be honest. Not very good. We were there for almost 1 1/2 hours and service was just..... poor. We were seated and some of our drinks came within 10 minutes. My drink came at 20 minutes and that was after reminding the server several times. Burgers were OK, but my daughter ordered the Chicken Broccoli cheese. 1st time it came cold and the Broccoli was raw, this after her getting it 15 min after everyone elses. They took it back and the new dish came out the same way. The zoo sticks were hard as well. Not a good experience. Oh and refills werent offered. Not going back to Mission White Spot.

Ok, super freaking awesome visit today. My son and I had an amazing time. Servers were so nice!

I decided to take my friend out for our birthdays! Her meal was the fish and chips and it was great, the coleslaw had no flavor. Fries meh! I order the infamous legendary burger, but asked for lettuce wrap. My meal had no sauce, the lettuce in pieces and was just thrown on top of cold burger, (tasteless) I asked for a bun instead, had to ask for the sauce. I wasted my money on my meal it was tasteless. I am not sure what happened to Whitespot, I will never go there again. So disapointed.

Went for appy hour. Selection of applies was good and amount of portions was great. Everything was very fresh and came out swiftly. My server was very attentive.

Excellent customer service and food... Oh its to die for... Waitresses go out of there way to make your dining experience a most pleasurable one... Koodos to the cooks and chefs.. I would like to personally invite everyone to experience the White Spot at the Junction in Mission... You wont be disapointed, I promise you.

My wife and I love sharing the White Spot Chicken Chipotle sandwich which is not on the menu. Two disappointments: where we were seated which was between two very large noisy parties in a large dining room area. Forgivable. Except when you see half the restaurant unused and they made us wait for 20 minutes to get a table. The worst part was the chicken Chipotle had one *very* small piece of chicken that had the consistency of soggy flaked tuna. It was really a Chipotle lettuce sandwich. The Chipotle sauce was discolored as well. Really unfortunate. Wont be back to this location.

Ive been to this white spot in mission a few times. Ive always had the seafood fettuccine this time and I was here. It was the worst Ive ever gotten. When the waitress asked me how everything was tasting I said its not very good. Ive had it before and this is terrible. She just walked away

We didnt mind having to wait 20 minutes for a table. Once seated we placed our order and waited and waited. The waitress came over at some point and said that it would be ready in 5 minutes. We then waited a further 25 minutes. When the food came she said that there was a new cook in the kitchen implying that was the reason for the delay. No apology. My food was missing the fries, she thought I was just having coleslaw with my burger. I then had to wait another 7-8 minutes for my fries (it felt like longer than that). My husbands food, spaghetti bolognaise wasnt the hottest, a bit luke warm in the middle and stodgy. Very disappointing meal experience at White Spot, food mediocre and customer service non existent. Needless to say no tip was left.

Worst experience I ve ever had. Don t serve proper portions . Laugh at you when ordering food, overpriced to the max , 17$ for a party with a blob of sauce on it . No veggies, nothing and they call that the legendary burger do not recommend for anyone, not even a mouse

Nice place and good service but, unfortunately i didnt like the Cesar salad that i asked for it , it was swimming on dressing and extremely salty, I was so disappointed because i was expecting a simple regular cesar salad !

I was working the late shift and came in to the Mission white spot on my lunch break. I had an hour lunch break so I thought I d have loads of time to spare. After my order was taken the waitress did not come back to check in on me. I had to flag her down and ask her how long it would take for my food and she didn t give me a time just said it usually takes this long. Half an hour is way too long too wait. However while I was waiting for my food, I did see many Door Dash orders being packed up and sent off. So this means that the customer that comes in to dine of is of less value now and priority is given to the online customers? When my food did arrive, my fries were completely burnt. I was so frustrated by this time. I had no time to waste and wait for fresh times as I was getting late and oh by the way I m 8 months pregnant so I was starving. How can restaurants get away with service like this and then expect a tip? I will not be dining in at this location again

Dinner was tasty. During dinner rush with families. Service was good (not their fault that they are short staffed).

Don t known what s happening with the quality of food or if they ve changed the ingredients but the fettuccini Alfredo used to be very good the sauce was creamy but now the last few times I have gotten the Alfredo, it s dry with barely any sauce, like a watery brown sauce now. Anyways it s horrible

Horrible service waited for around 40 minutes for a cold waffle. Asked for a new one while the manager snatched the plate from my hand. As a mission resident I will not be returning to this establishment . If you like good service and great food I would suggest another restaurant

Even when super busy they made sure we were seated, had a drink, and were comfortable. Food is good, came out piping hot. Restaurant itself is getting a little old. Wood needs a good scrub. Carpet is looking pretty dirty. Not a huge fan of all the waste with the meal either: pirate boat, plastic kids cup, throw away paper bowls, ect. Seems like if youre eating dine in, you could just bring food on a reusable plate for a kid? Will definitely request less plastic/paper on our next visit.

Worst dining experience I have had in years. It was freezing cold in the restaurant. Food tasted like bad cafeteria food. Service slow. I usually like White Spot but this one was horrible waste of money.
