Our mouth-watering Signature Chicken is made from whole, fresh, local Canada Grade A chicken, hand cut and hand breaded in every store. Our Taters are cut and prepared by hand too, starting with real, whole potatoes grown by Canadian farmers. Even MB’s Coleslaw is handcrafted in-store from fresh cabbage and fresh carrots!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mary Brown's Chicken Mission, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, seasoned just right to satisfy any craving. I tried their signature Big Mary sandwich, and it was delicious—generous portions and fresh ingredients made it a standout. The sides were just as impressive. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, and the coleslaw added a refreshing crunch that balanced the meal perfectly. I also appreciated the fast and friendly service; the staff was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance was casual and inviting, making it a great spot for families or a quick meal. Overall, Mary Brown's Chicken exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return for more! Highly recommend to anyone who loves great fried chicken!
Here's a brief of what happened to me and my 4-year-old daughter, and I'm sharing it with you to make sure everybody in the neighborhood knows about this selfish staff at Merry Brown Chicken. While I was getting out of FreshCo today, my 4-year-old daughter started jumping around and asking for the restroom, so I ran back to the cashiers at FreshCo with my daughter and asked to use the restrooms, but they said it is out of service and they recommended me to go to Mary Brown Chicken next door. So we ran there, politely asking if my toddler can use the bathroom, and the cashier (appearing to be a Southeast Asian young lady, in mid-twenties, 5 ft 6 tall) at Mary Brown Chicken, clearly seeing my daughter jumping out of desperateness to use the restroom, comes to my face and says, "Restrooms are for customers only," and I replied, "Even when my toddler is really desperate?" Then she replied, "Every day, people come and say that," and she turns around and walks out of the cashier table back to the kitchen. Out of desperateness of my daughter, I ignored what just happened and I just ran out to Shoppers Drug Mart, 100 m away, to not let my daughter suffer more than that. A very kind lady at Shoppers Drug Mart, by the name of Hannah, just absorbing the situation, immediately came out of the cashier table, opens the bathroom for my daughter, kind enough to not even ask if I was shopping here or anything else. I'm telling you this story for you all to understand a very recently opened business treating people in the neighborhood like this, while seeing a toddler desperate to use their bathroom, but refuses to use a tiny bit of courtesy and kindness. Needs to be singled out and asked to apologize. I will make sure everybody in the neighborhood knows about them. I will make sure they will never do that to anybody else.
Tried this place for the first time yesterday, and while the chicken tender combo with regular fries was good, the price was ridiculous! It came to over $19 for a 5 piece, which I thought was reasonable until I saw the size of the chicken strips. They are half the size of pretty much any chicken strip I’ve ever seen anywhere else. The portion size was crazy for the amount of money. Not sure I would be visiting again after that, not without coupons.
I went here with my friend for the first time and the customer service was excellent. the girl name jasmeen was very friendly and helpful and food was super fresh and tasty. i highly recommend this place!! definetly worth the price.
The first time I went to Mary Brown's Chicken, I went with my father to buy him lunch. I had the Chicken Tenders with Potato Wedges while my father had the Chicken Pieces with regular fries. I thought the tenders were subpar; they were somewhat dry and bland in taste without dipping sauce. The wedges were basically tasteless. My father thought the chicken pieces were greasy and bland but did enjoy the fries. The service was good and have nothing against it. Mary Brown's is basically an alternative to KFC with limited choices and so-so food and I have no intention of coming back soon.
My first Mary Browns Buffalo Chicken sandwich. A squashed and soggy brioche bun with seriously dry chicken meat. Definitely not worth $10.49 plus tax. Go across the street to Brownies Chicken and Seafood for a much better sandwich. Response to Owner...You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
Strongly recommends and services and food splendid. Essentially - Jasmine & Erica - they are tremendously helpful and care for customers. They greet and smile as soon as you walk-in. As well - it's halal and it's indeed ➕️! Pls keep - up the great job!
Went there for the first time yesterday, the people were super friendly, I ordered takeout and it was fast. The chicken was amazing, same with the coleslaw. I wasn't impressed with the fries. They were dry and flavorless. It was kind of pricier than expected, but overall, I will be returning to try more.
Gave it a few chances but it just keeps disappointing me. Always either over or under seasoned and the weggies are never cooked enough so they re hard in the middle. Just go to brownies across the street wayyy more consistent
Good and service is amazing, Imanjot is very friendly

Just tried the Big Mary. Delicious!!! And if you go on Monday, you get 5 bucks off the combo - good deal! Also, the staff is delightful.
