We ordered a pork and shrimp fried rice but it look like peas fried rice, the flavour was ok but honestly I make better fried rice.. and there wasn t enough pork.

After an hour waiting for delivery, I called to get an update, they said the food was in the delivery car and on its way. An hour after that, I called, to be told that there is no record of our order at all. Ruined fathers day dinner. I wont be ordering again, what a joke, and now we are having breakfast for dinner.

I ordered a take out combination dinner and it was excellent. Fresh, generous portions and good flavor. This will be my go to.

Doordashed a meal for myself lastnight. It arrived fast, hot and fresh. Best Chinese in Mission. For some reason we have like 5 Chinese joints here. This place was recommended by a friend and Ill gladly order again.

It is never busy inside the restaurant whenever we go because most people order take out! The portion sizes are huge!!!!

Walked in with almost 50 minutes until closing not a soul in the restaurant, and the lady turns us away for dine in. Really lady? Wont be going back and will gladly give our money to the other Chinese establishments in town.

We got a takeout few days back and the food tasted like used oil. I still feel sick from having their food, also it seems like some paid reviewers are posting 5*s. The only reason for the 2* is because of the waitress doing a great job. I would try and avoid this place

Good side of average, for this style of Chinese food. Sometimes they screw up, usually they dont(an acceptable ratio). When they screw up, they fix it willingly. I believe they had a change of ownership recently? Either way, quality, and service, have gone up a tiny bit as of late. Reduced stars on food only because they are average - if it was an out of ten system, Id hive them a 6.5 or 7. Service loses a star just because some of those occasional mistakes are very basic(like missing substitutions, or cutlery/condiments/sauces that have been verbally confirmed two or more times). Otherwise its typical of a place of its type, in a good way.

We had dinner last night in Mission we have been in this restaurant many many times the food was absolutely disgusting I sent mine back and the second time was even worse then they excepted us to pay full price. My husband only ate have and felt sick. There was a table next to us and they left their dinners also. I understand they are new owners but that is no excuse. I felt so sorry for the pour waitress she was alone and run ragged, she was so apologetic over and over, she needs a medal. Mr. and Mrs. Knapp

None of the food was particularly good, Ordered the orange chicken and even asked them before hand if it was properly made and described what I meant. We get home to literally breaded chicken balls with overcooked green peppers in what was suppose to be the sauce that was leaking out the sides. The best way I could describe it was soup. I ve worked in the service industry for years. The server wouldn t even look at me when I came back with the return I wasn t angry until the manager came out and put his hand out and smacked his fingers to his palm and said give it here shameful.

We had BBQ pork chowmein good and not too many beansprouts, lemon chicken, ginger beef, and sweet and sour pork. Everything was great except for the pork. Will definitely order again.

There was 3 of us, dining inside. The food was delicious.I wish that I took a pic. The staff were friendly and courteous. Our server kept apologizing for an unhappy customer, that was yelling at staff. The customer was told to leave, and she did. Only to call the restaurant and harass one of the workers. Thank goodness she stopped calling. It was a pleasant experience otherwise. Parking: There is parking on side of restaurant, as well as behind the restaurant.

Food quality and taste has gone up greatly over the past year.

Tried this place for the first time today and the food, service, amd customer service were 5 star. When you ask for wor wonton noodle... you get wor wonton noodle Dont waste you time at That Yummy place up the road, when you ask for wor wonton noodle (everytime)... you get salty broth with wontons, not what you think your getting. Mandarin palace is my new go to place when craving soup. Thank you.

Love this place, Theres NO better lunch Specials in Mission then Mandarin Palaces. Its good and cheap like me.

Disappointed. Very bland, soggy and the prawn dish had overcooked frozen vegetable mix, I ve never seen Chinese food with frozen peas, corn, carrots and beans in it .the peas were grey not green, disgusting. Also the chili garlic prawns were in a sweet and sour sauce not chili garlic ..over half the container was filled with onions. Won t be ordering from here again.

This family of 6 enjoys the food, good quality, great prices but the only thing we miss is getting to stay inside for dinner and hand out with the staff. Theyve always killed it with their customer service.

I have mixed reviews on this place. Definitely need to order at the height of busy time or food can be dried out and not fresh. Freshly made its decent, pork isnt grisley and veggies are tasty

Ordered a #5, was a fair size, but not the tastiest, owner doesnt seem to be very community minded, kicked me out of his parking lot while working as Traffic control and told the construction workers working on the site across the street to move their cars or he would have their cars towed, sitting there for three days I can tell you he has plenty enough parking on the side of his building, I dont think I have seen one customer park in the lot behind the restaurant, he is either looking to get paid to allow the construction guys to park or just a selfish business owner with no community spirit. I will keep the original review, but add that it seems Tim the owner of the Mandarin Palace and the construction site have been able to talk and the disagreement over parking has resolved and all animosity removed, I talked to Tim and I will admit Tim does have community spirit, he just needed the community to talk to him, as for the food, my tastebuds may have been off that day.

Not greasy Fresh and delicious! I have recommended Mandarin Palace to my friends up north when they are down for a visit. They loved it ! Been an on again, off again patron not because of other places but just that I travel a lot

Its good food, but their prices have nearly doubled for most things on the menu over the past year, and they no longer offer free delivery for orders over a certain price (at one time it was orders over $15, then over $24... but no more). All in all, its so expensive to order from them now that its no longer cost effective and makes me wonder how they stay in business.

We ordered off the menu not the lunch specials. The food was very good and fresh. It came out nice and hot. The pan fried dumplings were really good. The service was amazing! We will definitely come back.

Normally i love the food and the service..today however i got my food cold..got told by the managet what do you want me to do..i asked to speak to the owner and got told the owner is too busy to speak to you.. Its gross to be over charged and served cold food and then to be treated by the manager in such a disrespectful manner..to be hung up on and to be well next time you order you get 10% off..no thanks i want my money back and to see that manager fired for poor customer service

Ordered a couple of combinations last night and was totally disappointed. Have order before and last night was the worst ever Chinese food we have had. Chicken didn t taste like chicken and the chow main was not the same as before. We initially order from here quite frequently and these dishes will be going to recycle bin. I guess we will have to order from somewhere else. Very disappointed!!

Chicken in black bean sauce was mostly green and red peppers and onions. There was probably six to seven pieces of chicken. $15.

excellent food but they sent us home with one wrong dish

First time ordering from here for myself. I ordered the Singapore Style Rice Noodles and Deep Fried Wontons. They had to ask to see if they still had the wontons available and they said yes. Then I get a call back 2 minutes later saying they actually didnt have the wontons, so I ended getting the wortip dumplings that they recommended. All in all, I was very pleased and satisfied with the noodles, the dumplings were something new, but good as well. Communication could be worked on and I found it to be a tad overpriced compared to other Chinese restaurants.

Sadly, I must leave a negative review. Very over-priced for poor quality food. I paid $100 for a dinner for 4 with a side order of prawns ($16!). The prawns, chicken and sweet and sour pork were overcooked and very dry. Beef and brocolli were ok, same with chow mein and rice. Definitely would not recommend.

Price is good but the food is hit and miss.

Craving Chinese? This is the place to go. There s nothing that isn t on their buffet menu, all good delicious food, eat in or take out .you won t be disappointed, plenty of parking, always busy, and that s a good sign! Go check it out, an Abbotsford favourite restaurant that s been there for, well almost, forever. You certainly won t leave hungry .. enjoy.!!!

We ordered our first ever takeout of Chinese food in Mission and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and we will definitely order again! When I called to place my order I asked if this was good food and I was told it was I agree!

Amazing customer service and can always count on great quality food. Our favorite is the mandarin chicken lunch special! I dont know what is going on with some of the reviews on here. This is my kiddos favorite place to go so weve gotten to know the staff and never had any issues.

I guess they have all new staff/owners. Ive ordered the same thing since I was a teenager and today went to place my order over the phone and was told they would not honor my substitution requests - yet they always have before!! We are a family who does not eat pork or beef so when we order we always get the Dinner for 3 combo and switch out the beef and pork options for chicken or veg. Today I was told they will only do 2 substitutions regardless if I was willing to pay extra to switch the items.. She told me to order elsewhere if I couldnt accept the two item rule.. their website says *substitutions extra charge* but doesnt say anywhere that it is a two substitute maximum... Pretty disappointed honestly as I love the food here and my family has been going since I was young. Other places dont taste the same so we always drive from Abbotsford for the Chinese in Mission. Lost a lifelong customer.. but seeing how the owner replied to another review about loosing a regular customer, tells me that they couldnt care less about peoples business. Makes me wonder how they pay their bills since Ive only ever seen two or three tables occupied within the restaurant.

Food was pretty good, but because theyve been so busy as of late they forgot our order and we had to wait for minutes even though we called 2 hours in advance.

Second time ordering from here and the second time they have made a mistake in the 3 dish order. When asked if they would compensate the 10 minute drive to return the item they said no, we have to run a business . So they have lost us as customers over two egg rolls. Front end staff were rude and didn t care.

Excellent restaurant with large menu. Take out or delivery only right now but quite busy. This is a very popular chinese restaurant. People drive from Abbotsford to get chinese food here. Highly recommend trying some of their spicy dishes. Well made and delicious! Reasonable prices as well.

Food is very bland and service isnt the best either. Wouldnt recommend. Definitely wont be back. The photo is a vegetable chow mein. That was all the vegetables I received on it. The rest was noodles and no flavor sauce.

Asked for the #6 lunch special but no Chicken Wings. When I picked up my order they informed me that they would be charging me an extra dollar for making a substitution! When I asked them why I had to pay more for removing an item, which essentially made the lunch less expensive, they told me that it was just their policy and that they had to fill the space left by the wings with more rice. Yikes.

Went 2 weeks ago for an early dinner on a Friday. Service was fast and efficient. Restaurant was clean, and best of all the food was great. Plentiful and hot. Lots to take home. Good old fashioned chinese food.

Average food. Service isnt that great. Its hit or miss with the food. Some times its awesome, some times it isnt edible. We decided to stop eating here because we didnt like those odds. The meat is always really gnarly and full of fat. I spit out more than I swallow. We live 45 minutes away, this is the closest place to us. Last time i was there I ordered dinner for 6 people and when I picked it up the hostess handed me one bag. I asked if that was everything. She said yes. The bag was only half full and it didnt seem like much food so I asked again if she was sure that was everything. She insisted it was. I went out to my vehicle and pulled everything out of the bag. Half of it was missing. I went back in and she said oh, I guess there was a second bag. I explained that it was an hour and a half round trip to get that food for my family and her error couldve cost me another HOUR AND A HALF trip. She didnt seem to care at all. The restaurant is old and run down. There arent usually very many people there so theres no wait to be seated. Ive never sat down in the restaurant to eat, Ive always gotten take out. I guess Id still recommend it if you want Chinese. We dont have many options in Mission and the others are even worse.

First visit, Ordered some chicken chow mien to go. After eating about half of it I found a staple in my food. Thankful I didnt Bite into it but definitely dont trust this place now

I just received excellent food from Mandarin Palace. The almond chicken was crispy and delicious, sweet and sour was lean and the sauce was as I remember it always to be like. The beef chop suey was fresh and the beef was soft and good quality. I also ordered deep fried prawns and chicken chow mein. Everything was really good, but I was scared when I read some other reviews. They gave very generous quantities of all the dishes especially the almond chicken. The entire box was full. Very fast service, I drove from Abbotsford to pick it up because the quality, quantity and price made it worth it. I rather get the round metal containers from here, than the small oblong containers filled with less food and cost more from the options in Abbotsford. Thank you, we really enjoyed our meal.

Ordered here for the first time tonight, since the other guys only accept cash for delivery (they should really speak to their bank and get a mobile payment device! Giving any excuse for people to try the competition is a bad move). We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We had a 75 minute wait for delivery (cant be that terrible, if theyre that busy!) but it was worth it.

Wow 40 bucks for small wanton and soggy deap fried seafood that was mostly imataition crab... Horrible, never again!!!!

We had a large order delivered and one item was beef and broccoli, well when we opened it, the beef was blotchy red and severely uncooked so we called to have another one delivered and we were given nothing but ridiculous answers, remarks, and if we wanted another one we had to go get it, then it got into them just being downright rude. What a terrible way to run a business. We will never buy food from there again.

Kung Pow chicken dish had no chicken. All veggies and no meat. If you like celery and carrot, and other Asian vegetables you d be fine. I could count less than five pieces of chicken smaller than my thumbnail. I ordered to go and I asked on the phone I want an old chicken dish that was boneless. I opened it in the car, walked back in and said there was no chicken in the dish and the lady at the counter started to . At that little chunks of chicken. I would say it was less than 3% of the dish. I ended up leaving it with them having to pay for vegetables that I didn t want and just walked out the door completely unsatisfied customer.

Food is great but was let down a bit about service. It was a large order for a lot of people and the meal portions came out one at a time with large gaps of time in between. Food was still great, but when you want to mix sweet and sour sauce with chow mein, it didnt really work.

Rather disappointing experience. Decor was very drab, our server really seemed like she didnt want to be there. The Chow mein was bland, the ginger beef tasted like cheap frozen grocery store ginger beef and the sweet and sour pork was mushy. Wouldnt chose to eat here again.

I find this place to be the best chinese-food anywhere. The food served the fastest and with the largest amount of food on your plate. It is an excellent place to eat I would recommend this place to everyone.

I was shocked when my order arrived. I paid $63 after tax and it didnt even feed myself and my parents. My husband had to eat a bagel afterwards... I called thinking it was packed up in lunch sized containers. Nope thats what you get, they wouldnt budge, so would probably cost $80 to feed four adults.
