Hi i was at this restaurant for my take out order and i was waited for more than 45 minutes, their service was very poor and they are very rude also. Every-time they don t make orders on time and their restaurant was not too busy.

We ordered the dinner for eight and we get an order of Ginger Beef and an order of the spicy chicken instead of the spicy pork its delicious the service could be a little bit better the one woman with blonde hair working the front is very rude not only to customers but the way she was talking to the staff member from the back was absolutely appalling hopefully she was just having a bad day and isnt like this constantly

The food is OK and reaonably priced. The owner is pretty harsh with his staff to the point of being abusive. The staff are mostly young people who he berates in front of customers.

Go to MANDARIN PALACE 30 seconds away from this joke of a restaurant. Absolutely NO MORE trying at this not so yummy place. Its not hard to fix a such a simple issue with the attention to detail of the cooks, but seems like it is for some reason. Ordered War Wonton noodle soup and again... just like clock work, 9 out of 10 times, no pork, chicken, shrimps, ONLY wontons and noodles. How many times do you try before saying not trying anymore? Also... the quality of the broth is definitely changed, it salty and very comparable to Mr. Noodle seasoning packets, not so home made flavor anymore. Taking a look at the attached photo... Nothing special for $20

Good standard Chinese take out, place was clean inside, staff was friendly, large portions.

All though this is only the 3rd time ordering for delivery .. it was once again REALLY GOOD. They went out of their way to do a couple dishes the way I asked. The food was hot and not plastered in sauce and you could find the meat under the breading. Every thing on the dinner for 6 was great. This will now be our go to Chinese Restaurant.

I would give ZERO stars if I could I ordered a single item that was supposedly made fresh.... not an hr after eating my stomach was in massive cramps I started puking and liquid out the rear.... almost positive I got food poisoning as I hadnt had anything else to eat that day....... BEWARE.....

The food was amazing the portions are huge and absolutely splendid. The service was so food the people are so nice all seem like family. the pork was delicious and the noodles were amazing. i couldn t eat it all but when i heated it up it was so so good.

Thank you to all the front end and kitchen staff at Yummy House for another great dinner. I have a fantastic variety of items that are hot and fresh with generous portions for 2 people with leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The ladies and gentleman at the front counter are hard working and happy to serve you while the kitchen staff constantly send out quality food so you can enjoy a night out of your kitchen. There are reasons why the Yummy House in Mission is so busy. Try it for yourself and Enjoy! Parking: Easy access for all.

Overall OKAY food , can either be really good or really poor. Been here four times two were A+ and two were hardly edible. Really big portions.

We ordered this for pick up and were disappointed to walk in and see everything being dished up from steam tables. Took it home hoping for the best (we arent super picky with Chinese--my kids even love the stuff from mall foodcourts), but we were disappointed. It just wasnt good. Very bland and we ended up throwing it out, which is a first for our family with Chinese food.

Excellent for quick take out. Fresh food is ready to go when you walk in. Only a couple tables for dine in. Food is quite good, definitely one of the better Chinese fast food offerings in mission. For quick take out I highly recommend you give this place a go.

Waited for delivery almost 2 hrs, had I known it wouldve taken so long I wouldve ordered from somewhere else not to mention I have a hand written charge for 8.92 with no description of what this charge is for. Will not go here again!!!

Food is good but they don t have a good system of getting orders ready. They put yours aside when out of item and forget about your order and put together other peoples orders before yours

We ordered take out on Christmas eve. The restaurant was very busy with people lined up outside the door. The restaurant was very well staffed and everyone was working quickly to fill all the orders. I really appreciated how hard everyone worked to make our delicious meal. The food was hot and very tasty when we got home. Thank you Yummy House for contributing to our familys wonderful Christmas eve!

I came in to pick up a takeout order on new years eve. The order was a bit late, but I didnt care AT ALL. They were incredibly busy. Lined up out the door. What I witnessed was INCREDIBLE teamwork from the staff. One person would leave a station, and someone else would take over immediately. The restaurant runs like a well oiled machine! The staff are WONDERFUL. Everyone was friendly and smiling. The food was exactly what I expected. Hot and delicious! Needless to say I was very impressed!

Went in to order takeout, placed order based off their menu on their website $10.95 for a large Hot and Sour Soup, the price came up at $15.95 and the lady said oh yeah, we haven t updated our website menu in a while, oh well guess you didn t want my business then, no value at $15.95, poor customer service and no apology , won t be spending my dollars here

Great friendly service. Pleasant people, felt welcome. Clean and tidy. Food is Canadian Chinese and was well executed. The noodles were good, veg not overcooked and the ginger beef was appropriately seasoned. All food was fresh, tons of people doing take out. I will eat here again.

is the best bang for your buck, decent amount of food for what you pay and they are always fast and friendly and that place is easy to access.

I am extremely picky about the type of chow mein noodles that I like and Yummy House is the only place in town that does them right! That to me really say something in a town of this size with many Chinese restaurants to choose from, and I have tried them all! I also really like there yellow curry sauce for there curry chicken vegetables, another item that I am extremely picky about. The only place that I like better is several hundreds of km away and that is because it was a childhood favorite.

Amazing portions and quick service.

The food is good, price is decent but they are never on time for pick up orders (regularly wait an extra 20-30+mins for my food, even with ordering well in advance) and staff, while apologetic, always seem rushed and overwhelmed. Come if youre not too hungry and can afford to wait, but if you have a family at home waiting for dinner, find another option in town.

The food was decent. Similar to Panda Express in the States. Its a bit too sweet for my liking, but its not terrible. The portions are huge and the price is reasonable. The service from Mya was excellent. She did a great job communicating with customers and the kitchen. She was pleasant and helpful. Stella, however, has an attitude problem. She is rude to her coworkers, the customers and even to one older gentleman working with her who, I assume, is a manager or owner. This was my first time here, so Ill give it another shot and see if anything improves or if locals are correct when they say, If you want good Chinese food, leave Mission.

I had there 4 pc meal with a small wonton soup at about 7pm on April 9th and woke up at 11pm Worst food poisoning ever!!! Almost choking on the vomit too.

I honestly can t say enough good things about the yummy house staff. It s always my go to for a quick cheap meal and the price is always good for such a huge portion. The staff though are always super kind, quick friendly service and if there isn t something out they usually offer to make it for you. Tonight was no exception. I wasn t paying attention when I ordered online and showed up half an hour early to pick up my order. I of course said I would come back later but they insisted they would quickly pack it up no problem and were super nice about my mixup. The food is really good but the staff make it just that much better! Parking: Lots of parking around the restaurant, I ve never had an issue finding a parking spot.

Absolutely clueless staff, waited 45 minutes for a simple dinner for 2. Didnt even get my food after wasting so much time. Asked for my money back and even just that was a nightmare. Very poorly trained staff, only person that had any idea what they were doing looked so stressed out. Terrible system of making some people wait while serving single orders no problem. The amount of time I watched half a large order just sit and wait for the other half was pretty ridiculous as well.

We ve loved yummy house for years and have been going here way back since old location. We re currently living in chilliwack and have made the trip just to come here for food cause it s our favourite place for Chinese we have ever found. Everytime we re in town it s a must stop for us. Busy times are pretty hectic and kinda a pain to order but still tastes good

Probably the worst westernized Chinese food I ve ever had . Under cooked rice and terribly flavoured . Sweet and sour pork and a stale after taste and stale tasting egg rolls/spring rolls . Incredibly over priced for its poor quality .

Got food poisoning here twice in a row. Thought Id give it a second chance because I figured the first time i had a couple to many to drink but it happened again to me after not drinking at all. Absolutely disgusting how the owner treats someone with a complaint found toothpick in my food took a picture went in to talk to him he claimed I m a liar in front of many customers I m sorry worked in customer service many years that is and was not how a owner should handle the situation he expressed there s no toothpicks around the food area and claimed that was not a possibly I was right .as I look above there is container on the top of the food area labeled toothpicks with toothpicks in it ummm okay

Unless you pre-order and walk in, dont bother waiting in line. Theyre more concerned about online orders than they are the customers standing right in front of them. Those that have been waiting for well over half an hour while standing right at the front of the service counter. Tables are filthy, clearly no systems in place.

The Shiite s place ever

Will edit next time we order; below was our first try. Waited an hour for our order to get picked up by doordash; come to find out this restaurant gave our entire order to someone else and wouldnt remake it to send to us. Order got cancelled instead and then the restaurant closed on doordash (hours before closing time) so that we couldnt try to reorder.

Wow the food is very tasty. I would not recommend the beef and broccoli though it is over cooked and very bland. The chowmain is the best. They use a delivery service that is not familiar to me and charges a high delivery charge. Next time I will definitely pick up. Just to add to this review. We ordered again tonight and the young lady on the phone took down my phone number and address done wrong when I called back she admitted that it was her fault but told me if I wanted my food I would be charged double for the delivery we live in Ruskin and it already costs $11.00 for delivery. The food is great but not worth $22.00

A delicious dinner option in Mission we were (2 persons) and chose a three item and a four item combo and shared, for variety. Generous portions, hot, fresh, tasty, reasonably priced. It was busy but staff were providing great service! definitely will be back

Really upset I USE to come here 2 times a week until last night ..we had a family gathering for my sisters 39th birthday witch including 9 kids so we thought ordering take out at 5pm eat by 6 we ordered dinner for 8 they told us it would be here at 6:30 latest at 6:45 we called to see where the food was they said it was on its way we called at 7 they now said they were waiting for 1 more item after they had already said it was on its way .. we then called at 7:15 asking where our food was kids are getting super hungry and it was almost there bed time we asked for discount they said they would give us 10% off finally at 7:30 food showed up with the total amount of $135 and no discount we called them and they said the 10% will be off our next bill no thats not right it should have been off this one that we waited for 2 1/2 hrs for and payed $135 not when I go for my lunch for $20 .....so disappointed this happend ......

Tonight we ordered for the first time, we are new to Mission and wanted Chinese food. This is the best Chinese food I have ever had, my husband agrees. It was absolutely delicious.

I really like the food unfortunately when I tried to order tonight there was no online menu anywhere as I wanted to order for pick up wich was to bad I wanted to order for 7 of us and couldnt get an idea of what I could order then couldnt get through the busy signal for 30 minutes I had to give up and move on definitely need an online option for ordering

Definitely the only decent Chinese food place in town. At times it gets very busy, half hour and more waits are common to get to order when its extra busy. The place is often understaffed at the serving counter, creating huge delays if phone orders are stacking up. My suggestion is to use another area of the restaurant for filling phone orders and to always have a server taking care of the walk in customers. The food is always fresh and tastes great, the waiting time is annoying but staff is friendly and are trying their best.

A new quick and delicious Chinese restaurant that opened up in Mission! Service is great and everyone there was so friendly. I highly recommend stopping by for some really nice food. Would totally visit again!

Best place in mission for Chinese food. Fast, food Court style set up, huge portions, reasonable prices. Ive had the food taste bad once (burned plastic, couldnt/ wouldnt eat it) but think it was just the batch, as I went again a few weeks later and it was back to normal. My go to on nights I need a quick meal.

First timer went in for lunch today with my Mom. We were pleased with the selection of items, the quality and freshness was excellent. This is very good Americanized, ready to serve fare. I prefer more spice and depth of flavour but for ready to eat, it will not disappoint. Price should be a bit less, imo. Back in the day, you used to get 2 items plus rice or noodles for $5. Now it is $13. I think $8-9 would be better. Super friendly staff. Clean, small seating area. We will return.

weve had take out from here a number of times and have never been disappointed BUT last night we got 3 dinners to go and while the food was great, I was extremely disappointed that they were serving customers who were unmasked and did not even mention the mask mandate to these customers. Makes me wonder what other health department requirements are not enforced as well leading me to question the safety of the food that was prepared. I wont be back until mask mandates are officially lifted. It is not the business decision eliminate masking it is a public health issue. 3 stars for food taste buttony one overall for this health issue.

I had to change my review from 4 star to 2 star. The first time I had Yummy House it was delicious and fresh. Last night my co-workers and I had Yummy House again and it was, in a word gross . We ordered chicken balls and I bit into one and spit it out. It was chewy and I question if it was even chicken. The spring roll ingredients were completely different ingredients than the first time we ordered, not good at all. The lemon chicken was also chewy. Very disappointing as we looked forward to this all week, and it was so good the first time. Won t be ordering from here again anytime soon.

Small location but with lots of food variety and great service

Ordered at Yummy house today for the lunch special of $10.95 and was charged $13.49. I called to let them know of the mistake and they said they are not having the lunch special anymore due to cost of prices. I let them know that the special is still on there website. She spoke to someone and came back and said the prices on the website are subject to change and refuse to match the displayed price or even a discount. I like the food. But not happy about the service.

Better than any other Chinese food place in mission. And its great when you want to pick up food and not have to wait. With 2 younger kids, this is the main Chinese food place we go to because of its convenience. Been here a good dozen times and weve not had a bad dish. Weve not eaten out in years due to my mask exemption, even when showing my Dr note, many restaurants wont let you take out food. Because they dont discriminate they will continue to get our business.

The absolute BEST Chinese food I ve ever had in worldwide travels the food is incredible. Honey garlic pork has always been my favorite and it is high quality with lots of meat - not a whole bunch of fat that you can t eat like other places. The flavor is fantastic. Establishment is clean and modern. The owner John is a one of a kind amazing human that takes great care in both his food and his customers - the kind of local you want to support. I came back and deleted my last review, and using my other profile. Just finished a 2400 km trip over the last 5 days and I didnt feel like cooking at all. I came in to try it again and it was so much better it was hot and fresh, even when I got home. Thank you John I definitely will be back.

My new chinese food restaurant, always good and huge portions

Yummy house is the go to for a quick and decent size meal. Sure youre not get the authentic Chinese food you may of had in Burnaby, Richmond Vancouver but theres some hints of that authenticity with the beef and broccoli and black bean chicken. The hot and sour soup has a perfect consistency. John is a legend hustling and running his own business, Infact John Legend got his name from John.

Got a 4 item combo and it was half full. No napkins or sauces in any of the bags. It is not a good place at all

There was a minor error made to one of our dishes. We did not notice the error until we got home. We called them back and we were instantly given a replacement at no charge with a great big apology. The food is always amazing and the staff is always friendly! The portions are huge! Ordering three or four individual dishes feeds the two of us for about 3 days. Me and my sisters 1st time here and it was awesome.

Parents ordered over 20yrs, so on occasion I need to pick up, the last time ordered $60 plus tip, brought the order home, complety wrong order, called yummy house asked if we could get our order, or at least the $40 extra as I was unaware of the order taken on pick up... They flat out said there is nothing we can do for you, really?? They lost a customer.... Or customers on this..

Went on a friday night, lineup out the door and people waiting for pickup orders. Everyone was served fast i think i was there all of 15minutes. Food was really fresh and tasty, and the people working are so nice

Yummy is an understatement! Went here after a round of golf and was treated to an amazing meal! I ordered the four item combo and got at least two delicious meals out of it! Awesome service too. Cant say enough about this place, Ill be coming back often.

Usually like the food here, ordered the family meal for three plus hot and sour soup as well as wor wonton soup. Chow mein was soggy and the meat was extremely chewy and grisly. I wasnt a fan of the wonton soup but my hubby loved his hot and sour. Wish they had smaller options for soup.

Tried to order from Yummy House, issues started with their website which does not load, regardless of my internet and cell service being fine. I began my order without issue, but tried to grab some chicken strips and fries and was laughed at by the woman taking my order. We don t have chicken strips and fries here, we re a Chinese restaurant she laughed at me. Well, it s on your menu. No it s not Yes it is, I am looking at it right now She yells to someone else who says it s old I ask, well where can I find the up to date menu, am laughed at again. I proceed to ask about their combo dinners, since the menu is the great unknown. Order a combo, and then she says I should have my order ready next time. Told her to go ahead and cancel that order, there won t be a next time. Incredibly rude, completely unaware. You ll see I don t leave reviews, but this was atrocious service and I won t ever give this place my money Edit: Total time of call was 4 minutes. I did know what I wanted but was incredibly thrown by being laughed at. Menu and website say 2022.

Ive eaten at Yummy House since they were in Superstore. Ive order since theyve opened at the new location aswell. Container went from being the metal to plastic and the size change is a big difference. Wish I would have known before ordering. Guess Ill start ordering from Abby again! .

For mission this is the best location. The mall style takeout setup is nice for a quick meal without waiting but quality seems to not suffer with food fresh and hot. Leftovers heat up and taste great which often isnt the same with other Chinese food places. Staff is friendly. Restaurant is clean. Improvements for owner to consider: -Make takeout menu easy and accessable both in store and online. - pricing for individual dishes should be advertised on the wall as it is a little pricey (not outrageous) ordering individual dishes. - more family combo choices

Food isn t bad for mission but I feel like I was either overcharged or the menu prices are wrong. I ordered one 3 item combo and one 4 item combo and 2 extra sides of rice and chow mein and it was just under $60. We also weren t given any utensils/chopsticks. Definitely worth it to drive to Abbotsford

I ordered a 3 item combo. New staff was friendly but didnt fill up the container as full as necessary. At checkout a regular lady felt that the weight was too little and she filled up the container. Very thoughtfull. Will be back. And i loved the food. Good job. 2nd visit was also very much appreciated for the good staff snd great food.

Food was good, but ordered food over the phone and had to wait an additional 30 minutes after predicted pickup time. Food was still good, just had to wait an unexpectedly long time.

Awesome place for chinese one of the best in the valley great selection always fresh,great staff,great atmosphere i would recommend this place to all my friends
