Rocko's 24 Hour Diner in Mission

Do you want to re-live the 19th or early 2000s Dining time line? Well isn t it your luckiest day, Rocko s Diner is the perfect match! It was my first time there and believe me I was very happy indeed. The food was awesome and the service was amazing. However, you can t forget about the atmosphere. Words can t describe the scenery, it felt like I was really back in time. Thank you for the great experience.

Very cool place to visit! Not many oldies dinners exist like this anymore. Facilities are clean and there is plenty of parking. There are plenty of great and interesting food items to choose from on the menu with some of the best mike shakes I have had. Food serving sizes are very fair as well as pricing. Love that this place is 24 hours as well! Definitely a must visit if you are in Mission.

this is probably one of, if not the best restaurant in the fraser valley. food is always fantastic, service is great, the waiters are always friendly, and the atmosphere is very nice, makes you feel like you re in a diner from the 50s. Definitely a recommended if you re in the area

Can never go wrong with Rockos! Always satisfied with delicious and filling diner food, the milkshakes are amazing and the atmosphere puts you right back in a retro era, as if Luke Perry RIP or James Dean were going to walk through the front door!

Its a popular place so theirs usually a bit of a wait. But totally worth it. Especially their milkshakes .

Food was great! But the service was not that great! I found the server not that friendly! She asked my partner to refill his ice tea but she ignored me! She didnt looked at me while taking order and even smile. My glass was empty. Didnt bother to ask her for water coz I felt her vibes. Sorry but I think she is not that friendly.

A great place to grab a burger and milkshake! A blast from the past- diner style! If you re going to check it out, you need to get a milkshake! They have a great greasy diner breakfast too!

Small, claustrophobic dining space. The food was mediocre at best. Two of the 4 meals arrived incorrectly and had to go back. Whatever they use as mayo is disgusting, the relish is even worse. The patties are frozen generic hamburger patties. The toppings on the chicken club were non existent and the sweet flavors from the mayo and relish were terrible. The poutine was just some shredded cheese thrown on with gravy on top. The milkshakes were ok. I wont go back, its too expensive for the mediocrity that was served on our plates.

Rocco s never disappoints.

Chicken Tenders with waffles. Everything out of a box, chicken and waffles were both overcooked and were just dumped in the fryer or popped in the toaster. I would not reorder but my buddy goth a breakfast bowl, corned beef with hollandaise sauce that was excellent, fresh and good tasting. Wish I could have said the same about the waffles and chicken tenders.

Havent been to Rockos in 20 years since I was a kid but upon entering i was instantly transported back in time to simpler days and banana milk shakes. My girlfriend was estatic about all the varieties of milk shake and we had a great breakfast on our way through. 10/10 stop. Thankyou Rockos keep being awesome!! Hope to bring kids of my own in one day!

Really long wait..I got breakfast i liked it but the bacon seemed like it was microwave style.( really thin) My girlfriend ordered the waffle which was only half of a very small waffle plus she ordered it with strawberries and no whip cream but it came with way too much whipped cream on it... I might go again but I would have to really think about it and would have to convince my girlfriend to go back..the Coquitlam Grill is way way better.. Parking: Small parking lot. Some parking in the back. When its really busy u might have to park next door or somewhere else.(very shady neighborhood)

Out of the 5 meals we ordered, two were enjoyed. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere is fun.

Is spectacular experience. I had the disco fries and my wife had a burger and we both enjoyed our respective meals immensely. Good service, cool atmosphere, highly recommended.

If I could leave zero stars for the service on this establishment I would. My family and I were so beyond excited to eat here we had a larger group and asked for two tables which they did have and instead made us cram into a booth all together and despite trying to explain we didn t want it they made us sit there, drinks took forever to get , all of us ate at completely separate times , due to how crammed we were in this booth my plate ended up falling on me to which I didn t even get to eat any of it, we explained it to 3 different people and not one of them did anything expect say oh I m sorry I didn t seat you , or I m Sorry you were unhappy, like literally no one tried to help us or take accountability for anything that occurred. We are more then happy to pay for things and leave tips but the service in here by everyone left us speechless and the snottiess, along with staff who shouldn t even be working in the service industry was disgusting especially when 3 of us tried to explain nicely what was occurring and why were not happy. Clearly this place is more about the money than they are customer service. I ll be sure to let everyone I know who planned on eating here to not bother

Classic diner that is definitely worth the visit! Classic menu full of shakes, floats, burgers and appys. The quality and size of the portions compared to the menu price reminded me of 2019, a double patty burger with cheese and bacon for under $20! Definitely coming back to get more shakes, onion rings and the biggest burgers you ever seen! Staff were great and checked in regularly. If youre a fan of Riverdale its a bonus :) Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming and friendly. There is a sign near the front saying all patrons must be respectful with no bad language, vaping/drugs/alcohol allowed inside. Bad customers are banned to keep the place safe/nice.

Wayback time machine - step into nostalgia. Great milkshakes, cannot say about any other food, because thats the only thing I ever order.

Really disappointed, drove all the way from Langley to get milkshakes. We paid and waited outside for 20mins before someone told us the machine was broken and that we have to get refunded. Would ve preferred a heads up sooner rather than waiting for 20minutes with nothing said to us about what was going on. I recommend phoning them ahead of time to see if their machine is working if you want a milkshake to avoid being disappointed like when McDonald s tells you their ice cream machine is broken

Came here on vacation because its the film location for Riverdales Pops diner. It was cool to see inside the diner for a fan of the show, but the food fell short of expectation. I got Waffles which were cold, and served with Strawberry sauce. I was expecting fresh strawberries considering they grow abundantly in BC. The bacon was super thin, no better than Tim Hortons. And then I got a milk shake which was too sweet. I think it was made with chocolate sauce instead of chocolate ice cream. Everything was kind if a disappointment.

It is our first time at Rockos and we went there coz its famous. But the food is not good at all! The hotdog is too salty, the beef patty?!?! Its just a frozen patty like a sausage patty. Its no good at all!!! We were very disappointed with the food! The only thing is good is the potato on the eggs benny and thats it. The caramel milk shake doesnt even taste caramel. And thats not funny at all! We drove 1 hour just to try what they offer and we were all just disappointed. The washroom is stinky and the forks were dirty. The food is not cheap at all! So it is liter and not worth it to go there.

Very unique spot to enjoy a milkshake, burger, and fries. We all had different milkshakes, and they all had amazing flavors. The decor reminds you of the 50s, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did not have to wait to be seated. However, it was quite busy shortly after we arrived. Everything we ordered arrived quickly, and the fries were very tasty. Will come back on our next visit to the area.

The food here was great! Cozy, ambient 50 s Diner atmosphere and the staff are friendly. I ordered the Gladiator Burger, removed the lettuce and tomato then added a few of their delicious onion rings on top. My girlfriend ordered the Reuben sandwich which was also delicious. Can t wait to return and sample the rest of their menu!

I swear everytime I decide to come here with new people, I remember why I should have just went somewhere else. Last two times I went, the service left much to be desired with no refills on coffee and dirty plates left at the table despite our server passing back and forth multiple times without it being busy. And when we went today I ordered a side of hashbrowns, poutined with hollaindaise and cheese and it was rung in as a Breakfast Poutine without eggs or meat which was double the price when that was not what I ordered and ended up paying $17 for hashbrowns, hollandaise, and some cheese that would have costed me $7.75 normally. To ring in a customers order as something they did not order is unacceptable.

We stopped in for a milkshake and fries around 7pm. I ordered a black licorice milkshake...do not make the same mistake! It tasted like chemical. My son had the maple walnut and was very happy. The poutine was okay, made with what appeared to be McCains fries with packaged gravy with grated cheddar. The young ladies serving were fantastic. Fun ambiance!

Was there for two hours, but should ve only been there for one. Waited a long time for service, food, and getting two boxes for to-go. Staff is busy, will forget about your requests and their attitude is just not it. Food is nothing special. Wouldn t go back.

If its busy, it can take a bit to get your food. Its a bit of a tourist trap lately with Riverdale so if youre a local you might want to skip it. Food is decent diner fare.

My family and I (7of us) went here for breakfast today. My mom has severe allergies to pork. Due to this we made a request if we could get the eggs made separately or far from the bacon and the waitress bluntly said it s not possible. We asked if we could get the eggs done on different pan but she said something that didn t even make sense. She said we use the same pans over and over. What does that even mean? Can you not wash it? For a customer ?? Who is extremely allergic?? I even asked her if they can wash it .. she said something that just didn t make sense. Overall people with allergies don t go to Rocko s because they don t care about your allergies whatsoever. The server who I talked to wasn t polite at all.

I came here today with my wife and children, my wife has an extreme allergy to pork and when we asked the cooks to not cook her food in the same pan they cook the pork they said they couldn t do that. We even explained that she could go to the hospital but they refused to go out of their way to wash a pan separately for my wife. This is horrible customer service and I am deeply disappointed in the way they handled this

Wanted to go for breakfast since I have pork allergies so I always have to ask and make sure things aren t fried near pork and I kindly asked if they could be considered of my allergies and all I received was a straight no, I kindly asked if they could maybe just wash one pan and I still was a straight no I m very disappointed since I heard so much about this place.

Best Eggs Benny Ive had in a long time!!

We just came in for a couple of shakes. The shakes were delicious, very frosty and large. Perhaps they could consider having a smaller size for those who cant enjoy the full-size version. The price, $20 for two shakes, is definitely on the high side.

We arrived with lots of customers at noon today. I ordered take-out meals. Maybe the waitresses are too busy. I just got boxes. So I went back for forks and napkins. Later. When I ate the fries, I just found we have no ketchup. I paid some tips when I made our order.

The place is neat, 50 s diner vibe. Unfortunately the service is confusing. We got placed at a table right away, we gave our drink requests. Then within 3-5 min of reading the menu we had 3 different waitresses ask us what we d like to order. Sorry but our faces are still buried in the menues, not ready yet. Our drinks never showed up. We then placed our menues down and we had to make eye contact with a waitress in order for us to place our order, which included a reminder of the drinks we ordered. Once our milk shakes arrived there was no whipped cream and a spoon. My 6 year old saw the other tables milk shakes so she of course set her hopes up for the same experience. The waitress definitely could have asked if we wanted whipped cream if it s optional. Our food arrived and that was the last time we had a waitress visit our table. No water refills either. The food was meh, the burger patties are bear paw stamped formed frozen western family quality patties. Quite disappointed. For 2 adults and 1 child it was a $80+ bill. Oh, and they don t have AC, the waitresses were wearing neck fans to help cool them. They were all sweaty as were all the guests. Definitely will not be giving this place another try. Very unfortunate

Shakes are never served always machines are not working, went specially to eat from Vancouver but food quality was very poor and took half hour to serve water and food was almost another 30 minutes.

Bit pricey for the food tbh, but theyre open at 2am so given the competition is drive thru fast food, still a win really Service was a bit slow due to late night staffing but not unreasonable, and once they were focused on you, service was prompt and friendly. Kitchen was surprisingly efficient even at 2am

This place has a really unique, old-fashioned feeling to it, it reminds me of what Red Robins used to be. The food, though not bad, was nothing to write home about. Very heavy on the carbs, very light on the protein. However, the atmosphere is really special, and I would recommend this place almost exclusively because of that. It almost felt like a tourist attraction to me, and if I lived closer I would frequent this place!

Went to this diner because of Riverdale, much awaited dining experience and the service was excellent.

My husband, children and I had a great time. It was a super low key and relaxed environment. The food was great, the fries were so so. The milkshake was SO DELICIOUS. My fish burger was delicious but fell apart in my hands, I ate the rest with a fork! It was quite expensive.. but a fun experience.
