I had a fantastic meal at Edo Japan. The food was standard Edo, but it was the service that really sets this branch apart. The server went above and beyond, bringing my meal to me and collecting my tray when I was done. If you want real customer service at a fast food place, come here.
So disappointing, the only thing good was the mango bubble tea. My beef yakasoba was dry ,only had broccoli (no cabbage no beansprouts nothing) and beef was so over cooked it was hard to chew. The Yam tempura was so over battered you couldn't tell it was tempura and you could taste dirty oil. Not to mention it was served with maybe a 1/4 of a tea of fish sauce not even proper tempura sauce.... will never waste my money again
I mean it's fast food Japanese style so don't expect it to be authentic. I would prefer a local Japanese joint but in a hurry it's decent food. Sadly on my last visit I noticed my food sat for a long time before being wrapped up and handed to me.
The worst. Their tempura shrimp is the same as the torpedo shrimp you buy at real canadian superstore. Except the Edo tempura prawns were soggy. The California rolls were stale. And the beef, it's that pre packaged stuff everyone is trying to pass off as beef or steak. Grisly little pieces just heated up. A real waste of 30 bucks. Dogs liked it, but they are dogs. Never again
We got 2 beef teriyaki bowls and prawn tempura. This is the BEST Japanese food in Mission!! I remember working in downtown Vancouver and eating Japanese food there. This is BETTER! Beyond delicious 🤤! EVERYTHING is cooked to perfection and with the right amount of sauce and seasonings. The broccoli is brilliant green and still crisp and delicious. The sauce is so unbelievably delicious. The battered tempura prawns are light and crispy. Simply AMAZING 🤩!!! This is our new, favourite Japanese restaurant. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you 🙏 for such a beautiful 😍 food experience!❤️
The food is delicious. There are deals Monday through Friday and the staff are always so pleasant and kind when you walk through the door and when you leave. My husband and I both had big plates of sushi and shared a pop and it was around $23. There's no way that you can even come close to that at a sushi restaurant. Went on a Sunday with my family and got the family deal. My kids insisted on getting bubble tea which they hated and did not drink. Wasn't really child flavors I would say. Was a waste of $12.. Also thought I would post what a California roll cost for $5 here. Wasn't pleased with that... The four of us to eat on a Sunday was $65 which was outrageous and I definitely wouldn't go back with my kids. We have gone back several times and will continue to do so.
To my surprise, I really enjoyed the food from Edo Japan. When I heard about this restaurant appearing everywhere, I was afraid it was going to be like Hana Sushi, where the food and service was so-and-so at best. But everything I ordered tasted great, even for take-out. I had the Chop Chop Beef Teriyaki Bowl and the Surf'n'Turf roll. The Beef Teriyaki was flavourful, while the rice was moist and savoury. The rolls were great as well. I even had their bubble tea, which was fantastic as well.The service was decent too. I will definitely be coming back.
The food is excellent. Everything is cooked PERFECTLY. They asked me how much sauce I wanted on My Teriyaki which was great so it wasn't drowned. I got the teriyaki chicken turned into a Bento, so I got two pieces of tempura shrimp and two spring rolls. Excellent flavor on everything. The vegetables are tender crisp. Which is awesome! And even the sushi rice is perfectly seasoned. Will definitely return! Also still in training, the cashier was really nice and the man training her was exceptionally nice also. 100%

I had the sukiyaki beef (my go to Edo meal ) I asked for 2 times the sauce and I believe it was forgotten. Still yummy but I missed the extra sauce

I found the food to be somewhat bland and unremarkable, at least the chicken teriyaki that I had was lacking veggies and sauce and was not very flavourful, to be fair the girl asked when ordering if I wanted more sauce saying they add 2 table spoons as standard i never having eaten there before didnt know what to expect so left it as is, it turns out 3 or 4 table spoons would have been better, the sushi was ok with the rolls being rather small, price seemed on the high side for noodles and rice mostly, but these days with inflated food cost it was what was expected, all in all it was not a positively memorable food experience and am not sure if Id go back it wasnt bad just ok.
Love This Place I usually get the chicken Ramen soup its delicious and on Thursday I like to get the sushilicous special its so Delicious..Really good customer service and very short wait time if any .So Glad Mission got a edo japan
This is most likely the best quality for price in mission, always clean inside the restaurant itself too. Nothing but postive words for this place so far and Ive personally eaten their over 7 times now.
Excellent staff, the food is fresh and great value for the price. Lots of options, we have had lunch and dinners. The staff recognize us when we go in.
Went here a few days ago, all I have to say is I tend to be picky on food quality and I enjoyed every last bite. Amazing service and food!!

Delicious! I got sushi and bubble tea and they were both fresh and tasty. The owner was super kind and even brought my food out to me as I was waiting at the table. Great price and waited only a few minutes for my food in a rush is impressive! I ll definitely be back to try more :)
Had the Sukiyaki Beef (Take out), rice was lukewarm, veggies were 80% cabbage, Beef was big clumps of thinly sliced beef so the sauce only covered the outside of the beef. I have only had Edos on my occsional trip to Calgary, but the food there was much better than this.

I went with my son and the staff was so helpful with suggestion what we would like they also showed us the daily deals. Which makes feeding a family much more affordable. Will definitely be going back the food was so good!!! And the teriyaki sauce is delicious! My son got the edamame and cucumber roll, and I got the chicken teriyaki bento box and a bubble tea and we had 0 complaints everything tasted great! Vegetarian options: There was vegetarian options! Parking: Lots of parking, easy to access the restaurant Kid-friendliness: They had kid meals and options my son loved it. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheel chair accessible
