We get take out regularly from here. Great friendly customer service! Piping hot and fresh each time!!! So hot that you have to wait to eat it! Always a great experience. Locally owned and operated. Always very clean in this restaurant as well. 🤗
I went to the Mission Brownies yesterday right at opening time. I have not been to a Brownies in 20 plus years. I ordered the big 16 chicken with fries gravy and added onion rings and coleslaw etc. The owner Gary was there and actually prepared my order. Gary and the front counter gal could not have been nicer. The establishment was clean and polished. But now on to the important stuff. I brought this cache of food to our family lunch get together. All 6 commented on how impressed they were with the chicken extras and order size. I have always been a KFC and Churches guy due to their close proximity to my house. That has all changed after my experience at Brownies. Now my go-to Chicken/Seafood establishment.
The 2 places i have visited is very clean and friendly staff. The food is awesome not like other chicken places. And they recycle all off their products there is NO garbage cans for disposal. They have 3 locations at present Maple Ridge, Mission and Abbotsford. They also have takeout service. The managers is very pleasant to talk too and you can order all white or dark meat for your meal. The prices are about the same as other places but you get more and not grease in the food. Also serve seafood.
This franchise owner is great. Down to earth family man who collaborates with his children to run the business. The menu has original home cooked flavor you won't taste anywhere else.
This is my fried chicken spot I always hit up with I come east. 2pc lunch special for $9.99! With fries and gravy. Sometimes they may hook you up with extra! You can feel the family feeling when you step into this joint. If your a regular they will know you. Chicken is seasoned right. I've been to the one in MR and I prefer this one more.
I have eaten at Brownies for the first time ever since it has opened. I ordered the Halibut Tenders & Chips and it was very enjoyable. The tenders were really scrumptious and crunchy in texture, although I would have liked them more in bigger portions. The chips (or fries) were very good on their own and can be enjoyed with sauce or salt. The service was good and found nothing to complain about. I would definitely come back to Brownies to try their other menu choices.
Update: 2nd order - in photos halibut tenders(?) and honey garlic chicken burger. Halibut tenders not worth the price wouldn't order again. The texture was very similar to a chicken tender and pieces very small. Mom had chicken burger and said the chicken was flavorful and moist although it was much smaller than it previously had been. Ordered last night and most of the food was amazing! Ordered the 6 piece meal with macaron salad and fries. Also ordered a side of gravy, coleslaw & the fried scallops. Chicken was super moist and crunchy with more than enough fries. Was half worried about portion sizes of gravy and salads but it seemed to be enough for the two of us so no complaints there. The scallops were tasty but verrrry small which is probably why they threw in an extra. I typically enjoy macaroni salad more than anything but I actually enjoyed the coleslaw more than the mac. Still both very tasty! Finished some cold chicken today and it was still just as good. Will be back to try more. Just realized I forgot to take a photo of the actual chicken.. Will get one next time!
Fantastic little place in Mission! Stopped here for lunch while driving through Mission. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was great 👍 The price was very good and everything was piping hot. Seating available inside and outside. The washroom was clean, which is always good to see. Staff stayed busy the whole time we were here. I never saw the staff on their phones, which is rare now a days. Good job 👏 👍 👌
We just ordered the 16-piece bucket pack. we get home, and it missing the gravy . It is supposed to be a part of the meal.

The largest pieces of chicken of any of the chains, and always well prepared, not greasy. Ive spoken with the owners who are very welcoming and proud to serve locally raised chicken. Its become our fried chicken go-to.

I have been coming here since I moved to mission food and portions are great all of a sudden it is impossible to order what I have always ordered when the server asked the cook about it he said its up to you, she comes back and says no it is impossible and calls me a liar about ordering it previously. Definitely not a positive experience. And in their response they cannot even take accountability for their behaviour but did prove the order I have order over a dozen times not on special wasnt impossible as I was told it was.

Recently this place got really good chicken out of nowhere, it was always decent but recently the food has improved a lot and is now pretty great and we ll be getting it a lot more often. Also I recommend the cajun chicken. To be honest It s not spicy but it does add a flavour that s better than the original.
Its the second time that I came to eat fried chicken here. Very tasty fried chicken & gravy. The fries were good too. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to visit. I will try the seafood next time.
Food especially the chicken tastes so good and fresh. Flavors are unique too and have big servings. Their facilities are clean and the staff especially the manager/owner is very nice.

I used to really enjoy treating myself to Brownies. I wont be going back. Last two times the chicken has been soggy, and overall very terrible quality. Wishing the old owners never sold. Id compare this to KFC now. Lost a good customer.

Brownies is better than ever! I went to the Brownies Chicken & Seafood in Mission and it was the best. The original owner is back and Brownies is back too! The staff is welcoming & happy to help you. We had perfectly cooked crispy chicken & fries. I had crunchy fish & fresh hot chips and they were the best I have had in the past few months. And please try the new fried cauliflower...delicious. Like everyone right now I am watching my food costs and want the best quality for my money. I just had the best quality chicken and seafood at the best value for the price. A two piece fish & chips could easily feed 2 people. It has been a while since I have been to Brownies and I will be back. They are now top of my list in Mission for Chicken, Fish and Chips! Parking: Parking is easy access and lots of available spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: Location is easy to access for people with any mobility issues.
This is my wifes choice for chicken in town. I love their fries. The shrimp trio is my goto there. HUGE servings.

Just tried brownies for my first time ever. Experience was exceptional from the first step in the door. Blonde girl working the front was very helpful, informative and kind. The owner was there as well and they offered us a sample of their Cajun seasoning on a fry, I was very grateful because I am very sensitive to spice and didn t want to order my chicken with the seasoning if it was too much for me. They gave us a mini basket of fries to share and they were delicious! Ordered two Cajun chicken burgers (one with no hot sauce) with fries and jalapeño poppers. Everything was fresh, crispy and delicious. They both checked on us to see if we were satisfied. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to others. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal after a late birthday night out :)

I remember in the 90s getting brownies and a movie from blockbuster with my dad. This place took me right back to that. It is as good or better than remembered and the staff was incredible. I hope to make those same awesome memories of this with my boys.
Amazing popcorn chicken! A little sweet, a little salty, a little spicy, with an excellent house made sauce. The chicken was fantastic as well, but I could eat that shrimp all day, everyday.

Their chicken is to DIE for. It s soo tastes I recommend the Cajun chicken. it s super crunchy not too spicy but it will knock you off your feet. The batter is especially flavourful and the chicken is pretty evenly battered!
This establishment is by far the best chicken place around the ownership is amazing the cleanliness of the restaurants the quality of the food served. Theyre all a five star I cant say enough about how good this restaurant is we take our weekly drive from Abbotsford over to Mission for our chicken fix. He also has some amazing priceand the ability to request white or dark meat is a plus for me my wife loves dark meat I like white meat so its win-win situation. I am eagerly awaiting the day that a brownies chicken in Abbotsford arrives. That would be so awesome.

First time at this location and it was surprisingly nice and clean inside. The food is fresh and very good quality. My husband got the crab cakes and I got the fried chicken and deep fried pickles. So good! Definitely reccomend this place and any dish here. Oh and the staff was very friendly and genuine! Thanks Brownies!

Halal Chicken in Mission, as they say. Is tasty but a bit extra salty. Nice sizes and they don t charge extra for white meat either. They even took my order last minute order.
Very kind staff and clean and newly renovated restaurant. Their chicken is AMAZING! And their lunch deal is super reasonably priced. Pro tip: Make sure to ask for cajun style if you want a little extra flavour on your chicken/fries.

Excellent. Highly recommend. I got the chicken burger, calamari and a piece of chicken Cajun style. The tartar sauce seems to be homemade/made in house. Calamari could have been a little more golden. It was a little on the darker side. The seating area is really clean. I ll be coming back.

Today was moving day to mission, and I got fried chicken as is tradition. Ordered a 50/50 Cajun and regular 6 pack, fries, biscuits, gravy and mac salad. Everything was great. Streets ahead of KFC. Chicken was almost perfectly cooked, fries were great, gravy was delicious, macaroni salad was well above expectations. Biscuit was good, not great. Staff was friendly and quick. Cant wait to try the fish!
The food was fresh and very tasty. The employees were very friendly and asked us how we liked the food. So excited to hear that the owner is looking for a place to open up, in Abbotsford. We wont have to drive to Mission for it.

Ok since Brownies finally came to Mission it has been our go to when we dont feel like cooking after a two hour commute home. Churchs just opened in Mission, thought wed try it. Mistake! Greasy and over priced. There is no comparison, Brownies all the way. What I really like about Brownies is they are constantly putting new items on the menu to try and have it on the big sign outside so we can see it. Btw, the staff are always so nice and for that I thank you.

I have been here for the chicken and have always loved it. Went for the fish and chips today and it was greasy and terrible. 2 triangle pieces of captain highliner type greasy fish. The fantail shrimp was supposed to be a dozen and there were 8 and they were over cooked. I will stick with their chicken but never have the fish and chips again. Sorry .
Best fried chicken in Mission, period. Always fresh and perfectly seasoned, serving sizes are generous. Puts the other chicken places in town to shame without any doubt.

I cant believe it took me 2 years to try this place. Im a Fried Chicken connoseur, and I was pleasantly surprised. Had a 3 piece dinner (Cajun) with a poutine. First off they gave me 4 pieces of chicken (the homeless guy at Hy 7 and 11 thanks you!). The chicken came out of one of those heater things but it was hot and crispy and the chicken juicy.... A little salty but cant complain was certianly yum.... The fries were amazing real cut fries freshly Fried, they dont use cheese curd but rather a mozza Cheddar shred but the gravy Mmmmmm probably the best gravy Ive ever had. They dont overload it with gravy so many of the fries very crisp and fresh. I cant wait to try the crab cakes halibut etc. Finally what takes the cake is the price. Amazing value. My only concern is cod is priced the same as halibut so Im a little skeptical but Ill be back 100% maybe even tomorrow. Must try if you like Fried Chicken

The employee by the name echo has a staring problem we went in for a meal and all she did was star with dirty looks and when we glanced back up she was looking at us while laughing with another brown haired employee. No one wants to wait for food and get stared at and I will not eat here due to the lack of professionalism

Best burger and poutine I have ever had in my life! 10/10 would highly recommend! The honey Garlic chicken burger was amazing and the poutine was on point. The poutine had real shredded cheese on it rather than cheese curds which made all the difference. Definitely will be getting poutine from here from now on!

This place is pretty good! I was a fan of the old restaurant that was here for years. I was really surprised to find the interior completely re-done and very clean! The lunch special was a good deal and was ready for take-out in only 15 minutes. I had 1 piece cod and 4 jumbo shrimp, the fries were the best part! There is a couple of tables but this is more of a take-out pick-up place.
Amazing fried chicken and very professional and courteous staff. I have had proper southern fried chicken and this place could stand shoulder to shoulder with any place down south. If you order a dinner, you get an extra piece. Same with the oysters!

Best place in Mission BC to get fried chicken. You can have Cajun if you like it hot. Fries are very crispy. Downsides are their gravy, it could be more flavorful and the price is quite a bit higher than other fried chicken places.
The most delicious and fresh chicken around. This family owned and run fried chicken restaurant. Great service and even better chicken. The skinless boneless is a family favourite, along with the onion rings are to die for. I highly recommend this place if you have a craving for fried chicken or some fish and chips and don t forget a large onion ring, you won t be disappointed.

I tried the Cajun chicken its very delicious. I like their specials where you get the fries two pieces of chicken in the meat that you want dark or white at no extra cost and gravy at a really good price.

Not sure if people remember but there used to be a brownies Chicken in Abbotsford. And a few other towns as well many years ago. Its nice to see that they have a couple of them back here again. One in Maple Ridge and one in Mission. The chicken is locally sourced from a farm in Maple Ridge. Which is nice to know how fresh it is.
The food was tasty, I was surprised they had popcorn shrimp but not popcorn chicken. If you order their chicken wings dont expect little wings theyre huge!

Incredible fried chicken. Chicken is super crispy and juicy, and it melts in you re mouth. Fries are really good, too. Just as good as the Maple Ridge location.

I remember Brownies chicken in the eighties When I was a child and we would go there because we lived in Mission. They were wonderful then. But now as an adult I come to Mission on business and I rediscovered them! It is even better then I remember. The chicken is juicy and flavourful and the prices reasonable, but the fries and the gravy are plum out of this world. You should go just for that! The fries and gravy alone will make you change stores. A+ Brownies

Terrible!!! That they don t have more than two locations. Best chicken and chicken burgers hands down as they put Popeyes to shame.
