Great service and excellent food. One problem we were charged for a condiment. My wife had a pasta dish and asked for grated cheese to put on the pasta, normal in any restaurant I have been in. She was charged $2 not a lot but not good service.

Went on a weekday evening, with maybe 4 tables inside and 5 tables outside. Service was slow for the fact they had 4 servers and who I assume was the manager. Both myself and another diner at the table had the same drink order. Both drinks were not made the same way. The spinach and artichoke dip had zero flavor.

Was greated and seated immediately, waitress was very friendly Our appatizers and food came out quickly, drinks were on point, Experience was great!! Highly recommend you try them! Food

We are from out of town and was down for one of our boys weddings. Stayed at the Best Western there (another story). Took our three boys for lunch before the wedding. Was seated and ordered our drinks, then food. Seemed to take some time for the food to arrive even though I wasnt sure if anyone else was even in the restaurant. 3 meals came and the waitress said the other 2 would be here shortly. Then one other meal came. We were all at that time getting into a time crunch as everyone needed to get ready for the wedding. My sons meal STILL had not come and we were all almost finished our meals. He got to the point we went to the waitress to cancel his order as he didnt have anymore time. She said it was almost ready but he declined. He had to go and it wasnt something he could eat driving. Never once did the waitress give us an update on the meal or that they were sorry for the delay. As we where almost done our meals, the fire alarm went off. Waitress came over and said they had to usher us outside where she followed us with the bill and the debit machine. I paid (they didnt charge for my sons meals which never came) but had explained to her that I was very upset that this was the worst experience ever. She seemed shocked. Since we were all standing outside and could not go back into the restaurant (hotel was connected), the cook came up and tried to explain that the waffle machine was broken and wouldnt properly cook a waffle. I told him I wasnt upset with that, issues happen, but not once did the waitress come to us and apologize nor offer something else to order. We chose this restaurant as it seemed the reviews were good and they were connected with the hotel we were staying at and my wife was wheelchair bound. This day was suppose to be magical as one of my sons were getting married but this put a real sour taste in our mouths Communication is key and the restaurant needs to instill this into the wait staff. Wheelchair accessibility: From parking lot (thats quite slanted) or the hotel, you can get in via wheelchair

Rajun was one of the best waiters we ve had! Informative and confident and very attentive. The food was great and at a good price and the atmosphere was lovely! More people need to eat here

The meals we had both nights were fabulous but on the third night we just went in for dessert. It took 20 minutes to get brownie and ice cream. By the time we got it the ice cream was basically cream when mentioned that to server she said they were sorry but were so busy at which time I said when we came in the place was basically empty. 2 different times the male server walked away muttering who knows what cause you couldnt hear a word. Very disappointed. Will not be back even though we stay at the best Western in the same building

So this was my 1st time here and their cauliflower bites were by far, the best Ive ever had! The yam fries were also amazing, though I wish they had filled the cup of aoli to the top. (I wouldnt have had to buy an extra 1 if they did) I was honestly quite shocked that the bartender didnt know that pineapple juice (and OJ) always need to be shaken before poured! (My juice was transparent) I just assumed he was new, and I was glad to teach him something that every bartender should know! I was also not aware that there was an extra charge for pineapple juice (I had asked for it instead of pop, but wasnt told it was an upcharge) I usually hate surprise charges on my bill, but the food and service was so good, that Ill definitely be back! (I dont live around here) I just happened to be in the area, and thought Id come in for a bite. Im really glad I did!

Had dinner here while visiting for work. Convenient to Best Western hotel; it took a minute to find the correct door for entry. Menu had some variety. Food came quickly, and tasted great. Friendly staff.

woww we really enjoyed our meal, the service was great, Brittany our server was wonderful! The meals had so much flavour, great size portions! My daughter loved her butter chicken!! The chicken lettuce wraps had the perfect zip of spice/ sweet and the soup of the day was delicious. I am so glad this place has transformed with the new ownership/new name and menu, so excited to come back!

Mission Hospice Society has been hosting their Annual Gala in there banquet center for 18 years and this year by far was the best service and food ever! Thank you to the entire team.

Had lovely first date on their patio . Ordered nachos and they were HUGE and DELICIOUSLY cheesy . Service was amazing. Can t wait to go back and try more of their menu.

My partner and I recently had dinner being our first time at this newly named restaurant. We had ordered two appetizers, onion rings and crispy pork dumplings which were steamed on request. The main entrees ordered were the lemon garlic butter lamb chops and roasted garlic salmon. All the food tasted great along with our paired VQA bottle of wine. Our waiter, Madelynn, was very attentive to our dining needs and kudos to her for a job well done! Best of luck to seeing this restaurant stick around.

Fish and chips was tiny, maybe a fish stick in dry batter no organization of staff, no one knew who ordered what and then a 18 mandatory tip next time we go to Burger King! Vegetarian options: 2/10 for food, no imagination for veggies

The menu (in writing) seems like it could be good, but the service, quality of food and overall effort are some of the worst Ive personally experienced. A table of 4 adults and 2 kids left very disappointed and will never return.

Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation and wonderful dessert. Atmosphere is chill and cool n staff is very friendly. Such a great place, I recommend to everyone.I would like to come back here again and again.

Seated at 7, didn t get our food till 8:30. I had to get up four times to get drinks ordered , napkins etc. Cook brought appetizer and the spicy mayo was falling over the size about to drip on the ground. I caught half of it in my hand. Then he tried to hand me the tray. Didn t give us napkins or get us a new sauce side. Had to get up and ask for that too. Service was not good but we were a larger group so auto gratituity was added when all of us would have rather not tipped that much after our experience. No one asked how the food was - one friend took two bites and didn t eat any more because her food wasn t good. We are for about 45 mins but didn t get out of thier untill 10 pm. Super slow service and just overall won t be coming back.

We found this place a few months ago. In the three times we ve been here the food and service have been amazing. A true gem in the middle of Mission!

Came here for St.Patricks day and was served by the bartender Anythony. The service was so quick and it tasted amazing, felt like he made each drink with love. He was so kind and sweet and not to mention attractive . He was making us laugh all night and we didnt wanna leave. Last Monday, I reached there with my friends from Maple Ridge . We ordered our meal and I saw restaurant was very busy but still they made my meal in 15 minutes. The service was wonderful

Excellent facility, we used the banquet facility to accommodate 5 weeks of corporate training with catering. The food and drink were excellent and the staff were able to accommodate changes in our needs through out the training a special thanks to Arsh and the lovely Julie for going above and beyond.

The server was great and took my allergies ( parsley cilantro) , seriously, so none was used to garnish my food, but, they used them to decorate the plate!! If you are allergic it shouldn t be on the plate!! This breaks trust for those of us with allergies , please don t put your ego ahead of customer safety!! This was a Sunday brunch experience. I will say that our server was a sweet guy who was trying really hard. First, their brunch menu only includes 2 breakfast-type items, both relatively similar (full egg breakfast and omelettes), then 2 sandwich options and soup. Took a long time to come and there were only 3-4 parties in the whole restaurant. One person in our party asked for her eggs to be poached and was told they don t poach eggs, which is odd. My sandwich was decent (not the best bread) as was the salad, until I got a mouthful of something gritty like sand in the salad. I wasn t offered any other item or compensation. Another person in our party had rancid peanut butter. She was offered more toast and peanut butter from a bin source in the kitchen. Overall we will not be returning to 5 Forks which we are sad about - we were rooting for this place to make it.

Not impressed.! Got chicken tenders , take out I asked specifically did u include the dipping sauce . They said yes absolutely . Got home No sauce ! Very small portion size as well . Upgraded to yam fries . They gave me ketchup and not chipotle mayo. When you re spending 25$ you expect a little bit of effort into the order .

The service was alright, definitely think they need more training. The food was not great. We got a burger and a crispy chicken sandwich and the patties on both looked and tasted like they were bought from the freezer section in Costco. Super disappointing and we left not wanting to come back.

Our first time there last night , it was apparent right away that the dismal service of previous owners was a thing of the past. We were greeted right away , water served immediately and then met our server Ashley. She was terrific , friendly , attentive at just the right times throughout our meal . We chose the dumplings to start , however we found them ,over fried and dry. we shared the mango curry and it was fantastic ! We arrived at 10:30PM and the restaurant states online that it closes at midnight. (We tried calling at 10:00PM to confirm, and were greeted by a voicemail) Immediately after walking in, we were informed that they were shutting down the kitchen. We asked about the bar, the waitress said the bar would be open until late or close. We ordered food quickly as to not inconvenience the kitchen. At this point we were informed that the bar was doing last call around 11:00PM approx 15 minutes after ordering our first drink. We found this extremely annoying as we were hoping to enjoy our current drinks before ordering another and being cut off because the staff were trying to close. We ordered three appies, and they were all mediocre at best. Drinks were also mediocre. The GM or possibly assistant GM was pleasant as was our waitress. Although our waitress seemed to be catering to the wants/needs of the kitchen and bar to shut down. On the plus side, the layout and the design of the restaurant is quite pleasant.

Glad that others have had a good evening here, but reading some of the rather negative comments, can very much relate to some poor experiences. We were seated quickly as the bar and grill was not full at all. Beers were ordered for our group of four, and for a not busy pub, it took a good fifteen minutes before they arrived. We were excited about trying out this, a new bar and grill, and ordered two whiskey smoked burgers and a Forks rice bowl. From our table we could see at least six cooks scrambling to fill the order, obviously in training. The meal took well over half an hour to arrive, and aside from the rice bowl, was very minimal and poor. All three burgers were thin and barely cooked, each served with one onion ring under the bun and cold fries....no garnish, lettuce, tomato...anything! When I finally was able to get the waitresss attention to complain of how basic the $9.50 burgers were, the manager was called over and explained that yep, the cooks were all in training. I complained about the bill, we left the food half eaten, and ended up across the hwy at the pub where we finally had dinner... To the credit of the manager, she understood and charged us only for the beers and rice bowl. We all agreed that this place was far from ready to open! Great looking interior, but lets get the cooks and waiters up to speed serving GOOD food, good service at a good price.

First and last time here. There were only a few other tables when I was there and service was less than subpar. Took 13 minutes to get a bottle of beer and a mimosa we had to pour ourselves. Ordered the fish tacos and veggie stir fry. There were no more than 8 small pieces of vegetables on a mountain of noodles. Fish tacos sat under the lamp for a few minutes (i could see them) and came to the table cold and tasteless. The manager was walking around and didn t stop to talk to a single table. Server didn t check up on us, brought the bill and silently watched me pay and then walked away. No have a nice day nothing. Just as bad as the restaurant there before (scratch). I didn t have much high hopes but they certainly won t be getting my business again.

Beautiful atmosphere with an amazing patio view, cherry on the top was our server with sleeve tattoos (couldnt catch his name but I think he had an accent), who was charming and made our group laugh! Definitely will be coming back here again!

Went tonight for the first time. Service was great.... The gal was in training but did a great job. Sadly that was the best part.... Food was okay. Smash burger was just a burger... Not much flavour. The chicken veggie stir fry was slightly better. What they call sangria.....should maybe be called a sangria inspired cocktail. I have never seen sangria with no fruit in it....that is part of sangria. I put the garnish in just to have something.

Great service, horrendous food. Ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and they were overcooked and tasted horrendous. Possibly the worst food I have ever tasted. Service staff asked to talk to the chef on it. Not needed as the chef seems to lack any type of culinary skills. The term chef should not be used when putting out this quality of food.

My partner and I went for dinner on a Friday. The hostess was nice and friendly, she sat us down with our menus, and gave us water right away. The restaurant wasn t very busy. Our reservation was for 5:45. When 6:05 rolled around no waitress came to take our order, not even ask if we wanted anything else to drink. We unfortunately walked out, and won t be back.

Everything thing so far good ,except the indian(punjabi) cook. He keep staring us all the time and feel us uncomfortable. So two stars are down because of that. So please advise your kitchen staff specially punjabi staff to concentrate on there business rather then staring there customers and make them feel uncomfortable.

Stopped by here during a road trip just for something easy, Upon being seated we watched each server talk for 15+ Minutes before coming to even take our drink order, keep in mind there was only 1 other filled table at this restaurant. Fast forward to getting our drinks I ordered the easiest thing on the menu, chicken tenders & fries, simple yet delicious. There meal consists of 4 chicken strips & a side of fries for $19.99 or so, I asked about the price of adding 2 chicken tenders & after our server talking to the chef or whomever, they came up with the absurd price of $10 addition, $5 per strip! HALF of what my whole meal costs. Just to make matters worse after 55 minutes of waiting for our food, the chicken strips were half the size of what you get at A&W. The other plate portions at my table were quite embarrassing for the price aswell. You are much better off driving down the street to Rockos diner or Boston Pizza if you are looking for great Portions/service.

Ordered the butter chicken because I had read a good review, the portion was small and the sauce was very runny and thin. For the price it was disappointing. Waitress was pleasant but it took almost an hour for our food, whole place seemed a bit unorganized, they are trying.. it s just missing the mark. The draft old Yale ipa taste was a bit off and it was the first time we visited as well not sure if they clean the lines? Will keep trying as we live close and we would like to have a good neighbourhood place for food and drinks.

Nice looking place inside, but having to go to the back of the hotel to get inside, while all the front doors are blacked out and kept locked, is a bit sketchy at night. The salmon taco was pretty good but the salmon had little to no seasoning to it. There were only a handful of other customers but the service was painfully slow (half an hour to bring my drink, immediately walked away, another half hour before she returned to ask if I would like to order food. Decent place but could be better.

Ashley, our waitress was the best! Happy and friendly and efficient! Food was great! Cesar salad dressing is clearly made in house and had such an amazing fresh garlic flavor. Fish and chips were good. Battered well, cooked to perfection. And the yam fries!! Yum! Absolutely cooked perfectly! Their cauliflower bites may be worth your first born son! Crispy and covered in a sweet Thai (not too spicy), will have you literally drooling!! And to top it all off, they have HubCo. Beer not tap!!!

Food, atmosphere, and service was all top-notch! Have been several times, and will continue to go and actually hosting my wedding rehearsal dinner here

Awful service and mid food at best

Excellent food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Had lamb excellent . But if you just want a burger they are comparable to pub prices

No surprise every restaurant in this location fails. $25 fettuccini Alfredo with no flavor and barely any chicken. Had to go find the waitress 10mins after the food was dropped to get cutlery and pepper and a refill on our drinks. She was busy talking to the bartender in the nearly empty restaurant. 4-5 wait staff working, all chilling inside talking to each other. I just got back from Vegas and went to a high end Italian restaurant with homemade pasta with prosciutto and sauce from scratch and it was unreal, $19. And vegas is one of the most expensive places to go eat out on the strip. Get better management to hold people accountable, can t have kids running your business with no leadership. If you re going to charge premium prices, have decent food, my fiancés burger looked straight from the Costco frozen section. Sangria was decent. Hopefully original joes opens soon so we have another option besides browns.

Brought my staff of 13 in for a celebratory dinner. Waitress was great with all of us (didn t catch her name) and we all were very pleased with our drinks and meals and we all tried something different. Patio was the perfect atmosphere. Thanks for a great evening.

Came here for the first time with my girlfriend we had loaded nachos and pastas..probably the beat ive ever had we couldnt even finish them. The server was friendly and very helpful, very clean and the washrooms also clean and great atmosphere and had a window seat!

The waiter /bartender in training Anthony I think his name was . Was very professional an a polite would have never guest he was in training !! Me an my partner just got the chicken Alfredo to share as our late night snack an it was absolutely horrible for 25$ it was frozen garbage I literally would been better off going to get a microwaveable pasta for 8$ across the street from super store . When I complained about I was not happy a sent it back all they did was just take 25$ just off the pasta when I only ate two bites . Other then the amazing service do not recommend

Quality of the food was disappointing for the price point. My wife s Butter Chicken was processed, cubed chicken loaf and sauce that tasted like it came from a can. My Seafood Linguine had a few previously frozen, chewy shrimp and scallops accompanied by what I can only assume was pen raised fish that tasted vaguely like salmon and my garlic bread was only toasted on one side. Service was acceptable and the decor is nice but in my opinion this restaurant is nothing more than a fancy, expensive burger joint.

A group of eight of us went here for diner. There were very few tables occupied in the restaurant. Our server Jordan was amazing but unfortunately the kitchen was not. We all ordered appetizers and they were all coming out at different times. Not a big deal really. Dinner on the other hand was very disappointing. Three of the mains came out almost 15 minutes after the others and when they did come they were inedible. The three were lamb shanks and were so salty it was impossible to eat. To top it off, one of our friends ended up sick, throwing up all night after eating the fish tacos. I would not recommend this place at all.

I was staying at the hotel next door this weekend and decided to pop over for lunch today. I was greeted by one of the most friendly attentive waitstaff I have encountered in a good long time. She was above and beyond and I m only sorry that I didn t tip her more. The experience was so good in fact that I decided to go back for dinner. The evening staff including the bartender with the exception of one young man with glasses and one older gentleman were the exact opposite of my earlier encounter. I ordered and ate dinner which was as delicious as my earlier meal. However, if I owned this restaurant I would fire the majority of that floor crew on the spot for what I witnessed tonight. More concerned with their interpersonal relationships and their cell phones than their jobs. 4 times before and during my meal I emptied my glass and it sat empty for several minutes each time. My waitress and the others were constantly look over at me but obviously not to check on my drink but to see if I was watching their unprofessional behaviour. There were only 5 tables dining in the whole place at the time. I watched them pass phones back and forth and show more interest in one another than their customers. I do not recommend the Sunday evening wait staff to anyone. The food was great both times! The empty glass in the photo says it all.

Last week I came to the restaurant, I was seated by a very polite hostess and had an amazing experince at five forks! I believe my servers name was Casey and she came over and chatted with me and my partner while waiting for food and was an absolute delight to talk to, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested the butter chicken, which was tasty and looked very aesthetically pleasing. The food was a little expensive but I think well worth for the quality and quantity. My partner and I will definitely be back !

Evening of October 15, 2023 Upon entry was greeted and seated by a nice young lady promptly. Within a few minutes menus were brought and waitress took our drink order. I said I will have water to start. Food took a while. I ordered a spicy hoagey and hotwings. They were dropped off by a host or someone. Within a minute my water was empty. Was hoping my waitress would eventually come back. Half way through my meal she did. As we both had mouthfuls of food. Asked how are meals were walking away before I could even swallow and ask for something to drink. I had to stop her. I ordered a coke which never came nore did she fill my water or even return. We finished our meals and waited and waited. I had to get up and get napkins myself and ask someone to bring to go container for my gf leftover pasta and bill. Noticed a few guys cooking in kitchen with beards not netted. One of wich repeatedly rubbed his nose with his hand as he was handling food. A woman which appeared to be the manager actually leaned into where finished meals are put...like the warmer or whatever had her elbows and hair long curly hair hanging there talking to kitchen staff. Same lady as I walked by kitchen entrance to use restroom was speaking with waitress using fowl language. No big deal just not professional. Overall food tasted ok although was kinda grossed out by kitchen practice and manager. Service was worst Ive ever had besides nice host that seated us. I have never in as long as I can remember not left a tip. I did not leave a tip here and will not be returning.

Food was great. Wonderful server Keanna even on her own.

Very dead for any restaurant, the server was nice, the bartender funny and the food meh ! Can t say the staff was bad, or the food was bad. But the prices were high for the food served, I got the Fish & Chips and the two tiny pieces barely amounted to one piece of White Spot F&C for the same price as a two piece White Spot F&C plus a $2.00 charge for extra tartar sauce and $2.00 for mayo instead of ketchup was a bit ridiculous. We ve been wanting to try this place, but not sure now if we ll return. Three different establishments in less than two years, I m not a restauranteur but just changing the name & menu is not the ONLY solution. A live band or show wouldn t hurt, there s plenty of space and you d probably get clientele from the Best Western (attached). Not a lot of live anything at local restaurants in the area. Parking: Lots of parking available, because the restaurant was EMPTY !!

On Thursday a group of us went to The Five Forks for lunch. We received a friendly greeting from Jessica, and were seated in a round alcove, with a big circular table and banquette. Our food arrived hot, (as appropriate) nicely presented, and best of all, delicious. My smashed burger with bacon was juicy and flavourful, with crispy fries. The service was courteous and professional, while still being friendly. There was more than enough room for the five of us in the alcove, and, by adding a couple of chairs in the opening, you could seat 8 easily. This would be a great place for a family gathering, birthday meal or the like, and likely good for someone with hearing challenges as its a little private, yet part of the room. Directly across theres another big round table, next to the windows, so they are prepared for larger groups. Im looking forward to returning.

Best new spot in Mission. Lots of variety on menu and great staff.

Travel for work and this place is above average for a hotel-attached-resto. Came here maybe 10 times over 4 weeks. Befriended a couple of the staff, good people. Soup de jour was always tops. Especially the cream of mushroom, shout out to the kitchen for that one. Compare the $$$ to delivery and you can get a meal AND a drink (or two?) for the same price. -Burt Reynolds

We had reservations for a Christmas lunch. Our server Jess was very attentive and friendly. Our food came quickly, the portions were generous and everything was delicious. Everything was wonderful. Great meaning with something for every taste. The drink menu had lots of great choices too. Thanks for an amazing time.
