Very poor service ..Gyoza dumplings servered frozen twice. I have dine so many places but never being servered frozen food.

Always delicious. The service has been leaving a lot to be desired. The last 4 times we have ordered (3 online and 1 over phone) we have had to wait twice as long as quotes. The online orders, they forgot to print. Last night I called the order in. Was told it would be ready at 710pm. It was not ready until 745pm. Absolutely ridiculous!

Very expensive now. Used to get way more for same amount of money. Also the chefs change and you dont always get your food the way youre used to

Had to repeat myself 4 times over the phone, they called back to confirm a few mins later, then still get my order wrong. Called back after arriving home and realized wrong food, and they said I ordered this after repeating myself and getting a call back. They said to bad not their problem. Terrible service won t ever order from them again.

I have been a loyal customer of this place for 7 years always have I enjoyed the chef Charles he s a wonderful guy always puts a smile on my face. I have always gotten the sushi sashimi dinner combo religiously the whole 7 years plus sometimes food for others. I ve always been aloud to substitute the dynamite roll and tempura for to 14.95 each specialty rolls and they always charged the difference to me. At some point the price went up about 10 dollars from around 53.00 to about 63 dollars. The lady Olivia was always friendly but she said I was no longer aloud to change to a different roll no matter if it s even the same price. After about 8 months of the same rolls 2 to 3 times a week I ordered hoping to have something different as I was tired of the same rolls. Olivia said I would no longer be able to continue placing my regular order anymore after 7 long years of being a loyal customer and driving from Aldergrove to Mission religiously I am quite sad and upset. I have always been a creature of habit and this really hurts. I as well found out this evening my extra ginger and wasabi came to $9.00 of my bill which I found kind of shocking. I honestly have always been fine with the price and the raises and ya I don t know. I just feel after 7 years as a true loyal customer to Olivia it truly didn t matter. Again I rate the food high but what has happened tonight has really brought my thoughts of the owners appreciation to a one star rating. The numerous amounts of people I ve sent there and the multiple posts I ve shared about this place in Facebook groups I wish I could take back. If I owned a business and had loyal customers of this many years I d go above and beyond no matter what to keep them happy. I must add as well the 2 rolls that were different this evening were the exact same price as the 2 rolls she said I must have at all times because it may confuse her front staff to change them. I m really sorry but I was not able to eat spicy stuff anymore do to health problems!!

Mission Hills Sushi is becoming our go to spot for take out sushi in the area. Very tasty rolls, cones, and tempura and they load them up with plenty of toppings and fish. Prices are reasonable. The folks at the front counter and in the kitchen are always lovely.

Did not enjoy any of the food here. For the price the quality is poor. Service was subpar but mostly the sushi was below average. Would not recommend.

I love food and the service they gave. Ive tried different dinners combs,lunch, breakfast its so amazing. The best thing I like about is that they care about the customers service a lot. I saw the owner got up and delivered missing food for customers at their home. There is many things to mention but I dont wanna keep it to myself. Theyve got me extra foods on the house and even its really busy sometimes they are so sweet and kind to everyone Vegetarian options: We can easily add something or change in Menu in reasonable price, got a lot of veggies option .

We ordered a number of things and most were DELICIOUS. The rolls we ordered were phenomenal, first time I ve never used soy sauce because they didn t need it. The tofu dish and sunomono could use some more flavour but the sashimi was also incredible. Just moved to mission and first time there and we are THRILLED to have such a great sushi place nearby.

We usually order take out from Mission Hills Sushi . We decided to dine in because... thats what we normally did before The year everything was shut down. Great service, fresh fish , warm friendly service by the lady who is usually there. We will be back for sure!

Im a delivery driver the lady in evening time taking very rudly to me..and his every delivery order is 20-50 minutes late from pickup time....she has no sense how to talk a person Food

Amazing and delicious food made by the chefs. They also gave me on the house roll. I loved it. The staff at the counter are very kind and hardworking during busy times. Absolutely love the food and atmosphere here. Would recommend it 100%

Ordered Miso Soup, Dragon Roll, and a Dynamite roll. Everything was really yummy. I ordered for pickup and the lady that helped me dished out the Miso Soup when I arrived so it stayed warm which I really appreciated since I was running 10mins late. The Dragon Roll in particular is the bomb!

Food is really good however the chicken roll was already 7.50 and came to 7.88 with tax but when I picked up they upped it to 8.40 for one chicken roll.

Slim pickings for good sushi In Mission but this place is the best around. Great value and selection and service is real quick. And u dont have to tip your robot server at Lunch!

i usually would write an amazing review about this place but i m currently (warning) puking my guts out after eating here this hasn t happened before because i ve eaten here before so i m not completely sure but all i had today was tims in the morning and dinner there maybe something was cooked wrong? don t know if it s food poisoning the service is amazing but not sure on the food anymore

Takeout frequently late - today I had to prove I ordered by showing the confirmation - then they printed the sheet and said we found it! - will be 5 or 10 minutes - it s over 20 minutes now - I m not the only one sitting and waiting . Food is usually good at least - but be truthful! - I could have made other plans and not left an angry review if you told me you forgot - or at least run out and grabbed something at shoppers!

I ordered a single roll at 6:50 pm with a pickup time of 7:30 pm. When I arrived at 7:30 pm, I stood at the front and was completely ignored by the two employees working the counter. After about 15 minutes another customer arrived and was served after about 5 minutes. He pointed to me, indicating that I was next in line, but the employee just shook her head and asked him what he wanted instead. When I finally spoke up and said I was leaving, the employee still ignored me. The lack of service and attention was disappointing and frustrating. I have been a loyal customer for years, I will not return after this blatant disregard for service.

Some of the absolute best sushi Ive ever had, and Im not exaggerating one bit. Always so fresh and huge portions. Never once have I even had just okay sushi here. They aways knock it out of the park! Best in Mission by far, if not the best in the valley!!

Was overall an amazing evening with exceptional food! Nevertheless, I cannot specifically fault anything and believe the price was fair, especially when comparing to other sushi s places we visited. The customer service was 5/5 and everyone was so friendly and lovely. Would return again and recommend to others!

We have ordered here the past few years 4-5 times a month. Every time the food is late being ready from the provided time, sometimes they miss the order and we have had to wait as they make it from scratch. Never have I complained and then last time I was picking up I saw the owner yelling at a skip the dishes driver because they wouldn t deliver in the order she told him when he clearly said he had to follow the route set by the app. She wasn t having it and actually followed him to the parking lot to keep yelling at the poor guy. Today we are picking up, order at 5:05. Told 5:55 for pickup. Arrive at 6:10 knowing it will be delayed. The food showed ready on Foodly but we sat in the parking lot with a screaming baby until 6:30 when the food was finally packaged. The sushi is the best in Mission but the service is horrible and after seeing how the lady treated the driver but then wants you to be gracious when they are late I will never spend another dollar here even if it means driving to Abbotsford or getting something else.

Frickin Delicious!

Hands down the best sushi in Mission. Unfortunately sometimes you have to wait longer than they tell you over the phone. Which isnt a big deal unless youre in a hurry. Still giving 5 stars though as its worth the wait. Love love love the snow white roll. The service is good too.

Watched the lady fill a dirty bowl with miso soup to go then watched them serve another customer before finishing my order. Never coming back.

Decided to try this place for the first time and when I arrived for my food at the time they said it would be ready they told me to wait an additional 10 minutes wich turned into 30 minutes and the food wasnt that great.

I ordered off of the Foodly app at 4:28pm which I also paid for the food before hand and left a tip. The app told me my order would be ready at 4:58pm. We arrived at 5:02pm and it wasn t ready. In the time that we waited, 3 skip the dishes drivers came and went, and people walked in who had ordered only 20 minutes prior. We were never offered an explanation of why it was late, an apology. The staff was so unorganized and confused while trying to pack the order. Finally 50 minutes later we were out the door with our food. When we got home all of our hot food was cold and the karage was very soggy. The rolls we ordered were delicious though, especially the fried spicy Victoria roll!! The pork gyoza is incredible and has such a good taste. However our teriyakis that we ordered were not there instead we were give Katsus which no one ate. So basically 80% of our food went into the compost. We paid $175 to wait an hour past our pick up time to have wrong food provided along with soggy cold food. I wouldn t recommend or return to this restaurant.

Food was decent, price was good but service took a long time and was very awkward interacting with the staff. Didnt check up on us very often and had to go to front to pay out bill, despite being the only table of customers in there.

The lunch box is such a great deal. I always end up ordering more than I need, but it always gets eaten anyway. The food is fresh, the rice is perfect. The gal who runs the front of house is super friendly and really good at her job, she always seems to be killing it when I see her. Totally recommend this place

Ordered our food online with an estimated pick up time of 20-25 minutes. We didn t end up getting our food until an hour after we had placed our order. It seemed like the cooks didn t even start making our food until at least 20 minutes after we had been waiting, and our order wasn t complicated. Other customers also seemed very frustrated with the long wait times. I found it bizarre that they were still taking and prioritizing skip orders when their kitchen was clearly so behind.

Instant food poison. Spent 52$ on take out got home tried one peace from each roll then instantly was sick for the next 3 hours. Worst sushi I have ever had it even looked bad Food

Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Not only is the food amazing the customer service is spectacular. An item was missing from our order and the owner personally delivered it with a free roll. Mistakes happen but this service was above and beyond. Will be a returning customer!

We had a craving for sushi after a sushi-less holiday. Boy, did Mission Hills Sushi hit the spot. Crunchy tempura, huge salmon sashimi along with everything else ordered.

Their sushi is alright. Though sometimes the wait is outrageous. They tell me 30 minutes so i come 40 minutes later and then i sometimes have to wait another 10-20 minutes. Doesnt happen all the time though and there is quite friendly service

Not sure what s happened but perhaps new ownership or new employees? Ordered takeaway and part of the order was not included (luckily not charged) but the agedashi tofu was included, but without sauce. The whole point of agedashi tofu is the combination of the sauce and the tofu called to advise of the error with no accomodations provided for the inconvenience.

Take out only, I ordered their Beef Ramen. I have never been so disappointed in a meal. I have had instant ramen that is better. The noodles were severely overcook, the beef was tough and chewy, and the entire meal lacked flavor.

Dont get the spicy beef ramen. Chewy fatty beef. Barely any flavor. Tasted like frozen vegetables. Found a baby carrot in it. Noodles too soft. Would have been better off with a pack of mr noodles for a fraction of the price.

Been ordering here for awhile now. I loved this place for a long time, but recently the last 3 orders Ive had either was missing something or added something. The first one I asked for 2 yam rolls, it was an online order but paid in store and I had the email of how much it would cost, when I got to the store I paid the right amount that I saw on my email but once I got home I didnt get the 2nd roll, nor did I get a receipt. I called them and they assured me that I only paid for the 1 roll and that I would not be getting a refund or anything and because I didnt have a receipt there was nothing I could do about it. They were very argumentative so I just left it there as Im not a very confrontational person, still super annoying though. The 2nd time they forgot my miso soups, I had the receipt and so I went back and got them. But they didnt seem to ask or anything to make sure I was telling the truth, seemed a little sus. The 3rd time they added a miso soup without actually ordering it. When we told them about it they didnt seem to care about it at all. It must be a new owner because Ive never had a problem before. But the food is now sub par and Im kinda sick of my order always being wrong.

Ordered a couple times now. We had rolls and chicken yaki udon the first time. The rolls were great. A good size. Loaded well! The rolls were great the second time as well. Chicken yaki udon, was a bit lack luster. Not very much flavor or veggies. No where to sit inside to eat. More of an order and go kinda place..

I m not from mission and decided on here based on reviews. They were quick, food was delicious and well packaged, and appreciated the complimentary miso, it was also one of the best I ve had! Thanks!

Used to be the best place to go lately hasnt been very good. They removed the 10% discount they would give at the door. They are also now closed on Tuesdays which was my night to get sushi. Thinking maybe new owners but am not a happy customer

If your going to place a timed order be 15 mins late minimum. I placed an order for 730pm at 640pm. I arrived 630 and not ready. I had to wait 20 extra minutes. Just ridiculous.

I m been very happy with the sushi we ve had from here for the last few visits.it s always fresh and tastes amazing. The staff have been very kind. Highly recommend them since the new ownership.

If you order from here on a Sunday, be ready to wait 2 hours for your order.. If they say theyre 40 minutes behind, just know its more like an hour and a half. Dont get me wrong, the ladies up front handled it well, and the food was great. But the wait times are insane on sundays

The Best Sushi in Mission ba a landslide!

This is one of the only sushi places that I leave full. Lots of tasty fish - not cheap, but not outrageous!

Best Sushi in BC hands down...my wife and I are from Toronto and not sure if anyone has been to August 8 here but they have their own standards to their sushi and food. Mission Hills comes close to and if not is almost better than August 8 which is a huge compliment. Considering this restaurant is located in Mission, one of the most *EDITED* BEST sushi restaurants in Canada. Hands down.

Best sushi had in awhile

Our order took longer then was stated and the food was mediocre at best. Well definitely go back to Youngs next time, much better food and better prices.

Super delicious sushi at a fair price! Second time we ordered takeout from them and weve been thoroughly happy with what we get. The best deal is to order a party tray and share it with your family and cut the cost. You get a huge amount of sushi for about $50.

Fantastic as ususal

We tried Mission Hills Sushi for the first time the other night and ordered takeout online through Foodly. I arrived at the time given and ended up waiting another half an hour for the meal to be ready. The food was good but for the most part no different than most sushi restaurants. Id rather go somewhere else and not unexpectedly wait an extra half hour when everyone is hungry at home.

Great value and taste. Very friendly. They have the best nigiri!

So tasty and beautiful! This place was a wrong turn for us, literally. We missed our turn and ended up in Mission Hills Shopping area. No regrets! The food is stunningly displayed like art on the plates and everything we had was full of flavour and awesome. We both got the teriyaki chicken dinner which comes with tempura, miso, dynamite roll and salad/sunomono. On its own, the meal was great and could have easily been filling enough. Teriyaki chicken is served on sauteed cabbage and came to the table still sizzling. Red Dragon Roll - This was amazing. Spicy and stunning. A literal work of art but also delicious. Snow White Roll - I know what youre thinking, this coconut roll sounds kind of odd right. Its delicious. The coconut is a creamy cool accompaniment to my spicy roll. Crazy Guy Roll- The sauce was sweet and the crunch bits were bomb. Will absolutely be back! Thanks for the lovely service and great food. Oh, and yes there is a TON OF TAKEOUT. But the in house service is also nice. Busy little place that fulfilled easily 15 Skip the Dishes orders while we were there. Not surprising considering how good the food was.

Sushi was quite good. Love that they offer soy paper. Beef teriyaki was HORRIBLE. Ordered over $80 worth of take out, forgot 2 rolls and extra ginger which was paid for :(

Come in 2 times a week at least, great lunch box, has lots in for great price. Best dinner deal for two is the Sushi Sashimi Combo with extras. Staff starting to remember me so getting to know them gets great service. Always busy so check your order if something missing remind them. They wont do you wrong.

Ordered for take out last night which was a Friday night of a long weekend and they were incredibly busy. They gave ample warning of wait times (was told an hour, took an hour and 10mins) so be prepared to either wait or order extra early. As I was waiting, one of the servers even called a customer to inform them that their order would be an even longer wait so they didn t waste their time coming in. The food was delicious!! The rolls were so fresh and although our gyozas and tempura were done earlier, they didn t lose any crispiness at all! I know what it s like to be a cook in an under staffed kitchen so I give huge credit to the 2 men working relentlessly to get a plethora of orders out in a reasonable amount of time.

The portions are huge! The gyoza is some of the most flavorful that Ive had. Definitely give them a try

I dont ever leave bad reviews, but this was the worst experience Ive had and even worse that they didnt follow up as promised. I ordered sushi for my husband and I, upon ordering it said it would be ready in 45 minutes. we thought no problem, its a Friday evening so 45 minutes isnt too bad. My husband went down to pick it up for the 45 minute pick up time. Long store short, he ended up waiting an entire hour for our order to be ready (on top of the 45 minutes). almost 2 hours from ordering to leaving the restaurant with our order. We were so hungry it wasnt even enjoyable. We would have ordered something else from another restaurant had we been given a more realistic finish time for pick up. He saw people come and go from delivery businesses. Our order kept being put off, I called and spoke to the hostess and she told me a manager would call me the next day. Nobody did, so I emailed them the following day and still no reply (this is now weeks ago). There are other sushi places in Mission, like Junction sushi and Sushi Te that more reliable and have never given such poor customer service. I wont be ordering here again!

The food is above average, its a little on the pricey side 6 dollars for a large roll where most places are 4-4.5. The service is absolutely atrocious. If you have two hours to kill, go ahead and order from here. Last two orders have taken well over an hour for 7 rolls. Maybe theyre understaffed but dont order here unless you plan in advance.

Exclent quality good prices. Blows lost other placese in mission out of the water in regards to color and freshness and presentation.

I have to give it 1 star only based on the food. The service is unbelievably terrible. Ordered through the website. I show up for a 650 pickup. I just walked out with my food at 725. I was one of five waiting longer than was promised. I should have received an email saying they were late, did not receive. No communication when it will be ready. Also you have to wear a mask upon entry, no problem however my maks slipped below my nose and wow, were they on me however one of the cooks had his below his nose for a good 5 minutes,. Before you bother your customers with petty things, please look in the mirror. I am not against wearing masks at all. You just need to know how to handle a situation with a customer you let down

Just got my food delivered and Im amazed how good it looks and tastes. Unbeatable price too.

I like to treat myself to a chicken box. You get miso soup, a little salad, tempura veggies & prawns, california roll, spring roll, yummy chicken on rice all for around $11. Enough food for 2 people and so tasty!

Little bit expensive

We ordered a tray of rolls and they were super awesome. Just a suggestion though..... pickled asparagus is not good. Use tempura asparagus in the rolls and Ill be back for more LOL!!!

Stopped in to get a lunch. 255 I asked if its ok to order lunch special which ends at 3. Server asked a man sitting at the table if its ok or to late. He told her it is ok but it will be 20 -25 mins because he is eating his lunch. I ended up walking out.

Ordered from Skip the Dishes. Absolutely delicious and beautiful. UPDATE : Dinner at the restaurant. My new favourite sushi place!

I have Just tried this Restaurant through Skip the dishes, and this place is amazing!! I love love loved all of it we had UDon Chicken and Beef Udon, Sudomoto (plain), California rolls, deep fried California rolls and Gioza! Everything was great! The price was awesome we usually go to the Junction Sushi place cause they know us and kinda skeptical of new places but you really do a great job neck and neck with Junction in my books! Will definitely order through Skip again!

Under new management, best tasting California roll and dynamite I have had in a long time. The miso was great as well.
