FREEZING COLD INSIDE THE BUILDING. I don t know if the owner is trying to save money but everyone was wearing their winter coats INSIDE it was so cold. My gravy turned to thick soup within minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. Don t go there in the winter.

Popped into Social Eatery for the first time tonight after driving by it for months & I m glad I did! Great food & a such a cozy atmosphere! Shoutout to Olivia for the great service

2 weeks or so ago,my wife,my son and myself were at your establishment. Well let me tell you what a delightful deal it was.B4 we even got in,Michelle welcomed us in and directed us to perfect table.we were very impressed with her service at the bar and at the table........Pricing was favorable,food was very good & best of all the offerings at Happy Hour along with Michelles services,made a cloudy day into a nice Sunny Evening....Cheers!!!!Sheila,Eric &MATTHEW ..

They dont pay their bills, they dont replenish their alcohol in a timely fashion as they are frequently sold out. Its a failing business in its final days

This was actually the worse experience eating at a food establishment the food was horrendous I ordered fish n chips the fries were so hard like they had been refried the fish tasted disgusting we complained about the fries and they brought us new fries and it was a waste of time gravy was so lumpy and tasted terrible never again

I have never been to a restaurant where they served the food uncooked until last night. After waiting an hour they sent me a quesadilla that was stone cold with unmelted cheese. They had not cooked it! The server saw this and apologized but there was no type of compensation or anything offered after this disgusting experience and having to wait almost 2 hours to get cooked food. I was eating after everyone was done. I had to pack my food to go but they didnt even have proper to go containers. I will never return again. Everyone complained drinks were watered down and food was not edible. Go to Taps in the same plaza they have much better standards and food. I would like to address their response below which is a blatant lie. It was not a temperature issue the chicken was served right out of the freezer, stone cold and uncooked. Cheese was totally unmelted. I was not given a pizza box at all! Plastic containers for dips I was told you guys have no lids. Health inspector should be called to inspect kitchen and see what goes on there.

Came here to meet an old friend on a Friday evening. Not overly busy and didn t try to food but the service, atmosphere and drinks were good.

Food is always great, but during the recent visit found that the price has been increased a lot and the quantity has reduced.

Large, clean and welcoming We were greeted and seated upon arrival. Service was prompt and our server was friendly, kind and efficient. No complaints Vegetarian options: Good choices. Parking: Parking is not a problem because there are several parking spaces in the plaza. Wheelchair accessibility: Available.

The food was delicious and good value. The service was lacking. Other than taking our order, bringing our food, clearing the plates and bringing the bill, we never saw our server. Our server never came around to see how we were enjoying our food. We were done our drinks; we weren t offered refills or water. At the end of the meal we weren t even offered to look at the dessert menu. Truly poor service.

This is my 3rd time here! It s my top 5 favourite spots! Love the Big Leip Burger and of course the Loaded Nachos!! Servers are great too! Always serving with a smile on their faces! Great job!!

Placed an online order. Never got delivered. No one picks up their phone when called. Guests left hungry. Atrocious. Update: went to the restaurant to pick up the order. They were understanding and made a fresh order. Figured out the issue was with the specific item (American Cheese Burger) I ordered that didnt show it was a pickup only ordering system. Looks like a technical glitch. Only 3 stars because of this glitch that shouldnt have existed.

Awesome place, great burgers/drinks, fantastic service from Olivia who was attentive and meticulous with us during our evening. Will definitely go back when I return to Mississauga. +1 for Olivia!

Chicken wings were okay, sauces were nice, trivia night was plenty of fun!

It was my first time in the restaurant. Beautiful, cozy environment. Great food. And Sofia was an absolute delight!

Went for a late lunch with a friend. Tried to sit on the empty patio with my dog. A manager asked for proof that my dog is a service animal before allowing us to sit (which is technically not allowed). Server was quite nice and attentive. We got burgers and a pitcher of beer. They brought out a 2/3 full pitcher and apologized because it was the end of the keg. Did not offer additional beer or an alternative. The burger was probably the most mediocre burger I ve ever had. The bill was $80. Will not be going back.

Been wanting to check out Social for a while and was pretty disappointed. Food was okay, but the service was not good. The hostess gave us a bit of a hard time when we asked for a booth, asking if we were another group that had called in. When we said no, they reluctantly gave us a booth even though most of the other patrons were in the booth section. Then when I asked our server about the redemption code for the Facebook offers (which explicitly states to ask the staff for the redemption code) she told us we needed to give her the code not the other way around, so we couldn t end up using any of the offers. All in all, we did not have a good experience here.

Ordered online, they only gave 1 patty instead of 2 on my burger, had zero condiments added. They also got the side wrong. Used to be one of our favorite places, but after this it seems its going down the drain..

Went to this restaurant with my lady and we honestly enjoyed ourselves a lot ! Our server Effe was truthfully amazing. She was helpful, her recommendations were 10/10 and she was funny as well. Would very much recommend this place. Food was really good. Planning to come again soon!

Visited on 24/05/26 . The menus were dirty with some sticky stuff. As someone previously reviewed aswell, we had to clean them ourselves. We asked for an empty glass, well we got one with lipstick on it and the steak was the worst I ever had so far. We ate what we can and paid our bill and left. This is one place that we will never be returning too.

Sofia was a great host, she was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, fresh and served hot! Good place to catch up with friends and family.

Our server Michelle was very attentive. The service went above and beyond when we were informed they were out of orange pekoe tea bags because their delivery had yet to arrive the manager went out to the store and picked some up. Excellent experience. Would definitely dine there again.

Just had a lovely lunch with my parents. Michelle our waitress was attentative and super helpful. The portion size is very large - you definitely get your moneys worth!!! Very impressed with the prices and serving size. Was NOT expecting such large portions! We all ended up bringing some food home for dinner! :) The food was Super yummy. We had the Buffalo Cauliflower as an app, and then the Cajun tahini bowl, The chicken tenders, and the turkey burger. We all loved everything!!! With Pickle Barrel closing, we have officially found out new family spot!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

We (4 of us) dined in for an early supper. We where all starving. Taps in the same plaza had a 30 min wait time so Social Eatery it was. My daughter and I both orded the Fetuchini Carbonara, both where extremely oily, therefore it was split...if your unsure of what that means. It was loaded in butter, not sauce. Disappointing for sure. The good thing is that they did not charge me a penny for the dish. My daughter ate hers and was charged as she should have been. My Husband had a smash burger. No seasoning on the fries at all. No condiments other then 2 small cups of ketchup. No condiments: mustard, relish, vinager, Steaksauce....where brought to the table. The final meal order was the Salmon eggs Benedict and Amy said where fantastic. The very very crispy oily home fries no so great but edible.

Came on a Saturday night and the place wasn t too busy, we were served by Sofia and she was fantastic! She made great recommendations and the food was amazing. Definitely going to be coming back here.

The appetizers were good, the food was not. Pasta was somehow burnt and brown and swimming in oil or butter, everything was extremely salty, the staff took very long to return to the table for anything we needed. I would probably recommend you come here for a drink and apps and stay away from the entrees.

Food Ordered at Table: Rolled Cinnamon Pancake, Salmon Egg Benedict, Saucy Nugs, Buffalo Fried Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Cheese Burger, Sweet Potato Fries, and the Cheeseburger. Review: The food took a long time to come out. When it did come out, it was cold. The Saucy nugs were hard and flavorless. The Sweet Potato Fries were super salty (Ive never had a restaurant salt them before, this restaurant over salts their sweet potato fries so if you prefer them without salt be sure to ask while ordering). The rolled cinnamon pancake was cold when it came out and it was more along the lines of a crepe. It also had a grainy texture and wasnt cinnamon flavored at all. The sandwiches werent very good but were edible. My mother enjoyed her Salmon Egg Benedict (but my mother also doesnt believe in food waste) so that is the only positive. Server: Our server was kind and gracious so this review doesnt reflect the professional service she provided. Atmosphere: The restaurant and bathroom were both clean. The menus were dirty and sticky while the paper brunch menus were stained. Overall, I wont be coming back to this restaurant and would not recommend it to others.

Not the best experience unfortunately but I m assuming they had staffing issues in the kitchen. The food itself was very good - when it eventually arrived but it took an hour and forty minutes from sitting at the table to getting food and it was then staggered over 20 minutes from the first to last member of our party, so when I got mine I was the j on not one eating.

Terrible experience. While, the food was not bad. It came out to our group over the span of over 2 hours from the time first person got their food until the time the last. The kids got their food before the adults were even asked their orders. They got incredibly and understandably restless, because after they were done eating, it was almost 2 hours by the time the rest of us were done. we were a large group who made a reservation weeks in advance. Nobody checked on us. We would just get one to three meals at a time and then wait 20 minutes for the next one to three meals. One person got their meal after most people had finished and had to leave. After asking for our bills we waited further 45 minutes before they « got them sorted out » we were there as a team and ordered everything by kids jersey numbers and have done this numerous times at numerous restaurants and never experienced this level of disorganization. Our family s bill took three times to get correct. The servers were also passive, aggressive and rude to us, « yours is coming, love » Many meals were screwed up completely and one person got their food two hours after the first people. Nothing was comped. Truly the worst service and organization I have ever ever experienced.

My son and I stopped for supper. Great choices on their menu. At the waitress suggestion, ordered Fish Tacos and added a third. Boy were they delicious. My son heard about their hamburgers and he was not disappointed. He could barely get his hands around it.

Just had a family lunch for 20 people today. We changed our reservation a couple of times - and the staff were very accommodating. The food was good and the service great - friendly, competent, but unobtrusive. We had a great time!

Ordered online for pickup 2 Cajun tahini bowls with chicken add on for both. When I arrived, I followed the instructions from the confirmation email to pull up in the parking lot, and call upon arrival. I did that, but was told to move from a parking space and park right outside the door. Communication could have been better from the get go. Then get back to my destination to find what I ordered doesnt really match what Ive received. Had 2 what I would describe as salads rather than bowls, with a tiny sprinkling of quinoa on top, but mostly just a generic shredded cabbage mix. When I see something listed as a bowl, I expect the base to be a grain, or at least more equal parts grain and greens. Also got one side of tofu, one side of chicken, not 2 chicken as ordered. Too far away to go back to correct/complain. Chicken was incredibly dry, so didnt miss out on too much anyway. Tofu was ok, but not my personal preference. Tahini dressing didnt taste very tahini-y, more garlic creamy dressing than I was expecting. All in all, not sure if the order simply wasnt mine, or descriptions in website menu dont match the product. All in all, expensive for what it was, and Im still hungry as I wasnt expecting a salad.

Overall a great option for good pub food. The highlight of the night was the service. Olivia was very friendly and attentive. We also got our food quick (which was good because we were hungry and had a 2 year old!). Will definitely come back again.

I went there for a birthday dinner. They have a promo on their website if you sign up, you can get a free burger via Facebook Messenger. There was no problem redeeming the coupon. The server was great and checked on us a few times. I went on a Thursday night and it wasnt too busy. I ordered the bacon and cheese burger which was comped. It tasted good. Vegetables in my burger tasted fresh. I think they are known for their burgers. I enjoyed it. My guest ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo. It was ok, not great. Definitely not worth the price. The restaurant is pricier than average.

It was a nice place to hang out and unwind after an exhausting week with my friends. The food was delicious, and portions were generous. We came here on a Friday night. It wasnt busy at all. The hostess sat us at a table. We waited for 15 minutes (counted), and no one came to even offer us water. We got up and left. There were waiters walking past us and ignoring us. Would not go here.

The boys stopped in for an afternoon visit. Numerous beer on tap, some fresher than others. The wings were awesome, the nachos didnt need near as much of the fake portable cheese sauce. Service was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Sadly chose this spot to celebrate a birthday - Had one server come up to us and take our order then they never came back again. Had to flag down multiple staff to get items like cutlery, napkins, etc. Place is spacious and you can see the corner where all the staff congregate to chat instead of serving tables who are looking for service. If that wasn t bad enough had to wait close to twenty minutes to get the bill! You might have to pay a bit more but at least you ll actually get service at Taps located in the same plaza

Generous portions. Nice atmosphere, not very friendly staff. But the taste was below average. Soggy fish with uncooked from inside and over cooked from outside. Chicken tenders were also over cooked. Burgers were ok.

I took my 12yr old son for lunch today. We had a seat so we could both see the World Jrs game and Michelle took care of us. They have their own beers - lager and IPA that were both great and the American Cheeseburgers were as good as Ive ever had (and Ive had a lot....)

This is one of our go to bar. Never disappoint. Food is awesome. Drinks are reasonably priced. Main star is the service which is impeccable. Big shout out to Sofia, Sofia was very attentive and was spot on with recommendations. Big thumbs up!!

I love this place! Been a few times in the past few years but started coming weekly after discovering they have trivia nights on Wednesdays! Host is always fun, food is very good, I recommend the BBQ Chicken Burrito Bowl and the cookies and ice cream dessert!

MacKenzie was our waitress, she provided excellent service. The food was excellent. We had fish and a smokey burger. Value was amazing as portion sizes are huge. Atmosphere is open concept, very clean and not too loud. So we could hold a conversation without having to yell. Will definitely be back.

I had dinner with my friend today and had an exceptional server named Denielle. She was fabulous, from style to service. Food and drinks were great, I ordered the wings and sweet potato fries with the pimm s and ginger. Highly recommend trying it if you re in the area!

Our server Denielle was amazing, she was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. I got the lobster mac and cheese that was a great portion size and tasted great, and the sour Apple cocktail was also really good!

Was greatly looking forward to being treated to dinner at Social Eatery for my 60th birthday. Tuesday evening and it was not busy, but no one came to seat us so we sat ourselves at a bar area table. Bartender dropped menus on table and left. Then.....nothing. We sat for 15 minutes with just the menus but no came. So we left and went to Taps a few doors down for a great meal with awesome service even though the place was packed. So thanks to Social Eatery for almost totally spoiling my birthday dinner evening and sincere thanks to Taps for instead making it a special occasion.

I went to dinner with my husband and 1year old baby and had an amazing night. Our server Kylie was absolutely amazing, from answering my never ending questions about the menu and ensuring our table had everything for a comfortable dining experience with a toddler. To top it all the food was amazing! lWould definitely go back and love to sit in Kylie sections. 10/10 recommended! Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to children. Tables are low and highchairs fit very comfortably at the table to allow everyone to enjoy their meal.

We decided to visit this place for drinks and snacks because the nearby spot had a long waiting list. I must say, the service and hospitality at this establishment were truly outstanding. The servers were exceptionally friendly and offered excellent recommendations for both drinks and snacks. Their cocktails were wonderfully unique, while my friends opted for Stella, a beverage that remains consistent no matter where you order it. Youll have to see the photos to appreciate it fully.

came here with a couple of former co-workers. our server was quite patient taking our orders as we took a bit of a time making our choices. after our food was served, she did her customary rounds but, never felt intrusive. good food and superb service! the place seemed darker compared to similar bar/resto settings.

Social Eatery offers a very diverse menu and the food is absolutely delicious! Great value as well. The bowls are amazing, and their home-made fries are definitely worth the try! Came in on Saturday, 5pm. Place was fairly empty & we were seated right away. Took quite a while to get a server, the people behind us gave up and left. I think this got the staffs attention. Prices are very fair in comparison to the competition (e.g., taps public house). We were very worried that the food would not be good but we very pleasantly surprised. The truffle mushroom pasta was just as good as Taps, the pizza was good but I d say Taps has better pizza. I feel the prices for the cocktails/alcohol are really competitive and would definitely come here for a pre-drink or after party vibe. The layout of the place is fairly large and empty, does not give an intimate feel. I think the layout affects the servers ability to efficiently serve its patrons especially if you re seated in the back corner. The experience/ambience as a whole didn t leave me wanting to come back despite the 25% off my next visit coupon.

Menu was dirty and very limited. Waitress was also the bartender and the bar was clearly her priority. Our bill came to $72. Waitress tipped herself $14 and passed me the Interac machine. This place has gone wayyyy downhill. Looking forward to whatever replaces it soon though!

My wife and I stumbled upon this place after shopping. We were thrilled with the service, speed and quality of food! Great menu selection, I wanted to order several dinners for myself (wife said no) But I still managed to polish off 2 appetizers, my Mushroom Truffle Ravioli and my wife s taco !! Everything was delish. Drew out server was amazing too. I can t wait to come back and get my hands on more!

This is my 2nd time at this restaurant, and truffle mushroom pasta is amazing with a great glass of white wine. I asked for garlic bread, and it is not an option. I have to say that I would have given a 5 star if that was available.

Its amazing what can happen with a little redirection! I generally frequent Taps and went there to kill a few hours while I got my winter tires installed. As it would be a few hours, I wanted to find a comfy spot to hunker down. Unfortunately, they could not accommodate me despite having plenty room. I ended up walking over to Social Eatery and it was the best decision ever! The hostess and waitress were amazing, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect. I was done my food and drink ($40 after tax and tip) and was still allowed to stay another hour after until my car was done! Spoke to the manager personally to communicate my satisfaction and it became clear the establishment was reflective of his vision for customer satisfaction in every manner. This is definitely my new go to spot this winter after a long day at work and drive home! I ve been here a couple of times and each time is amazing! The food is great and comes in such large portions which is great for the price you re paying. The service from the waitresses are exceptional and the manager (Nick) is so lovely, welcoming and hospitable! Would definitely recommend coming here :)

Went for a work holiday party. I have food allergies and the team there were so accomadating, getting me alternatives to make sure I had a meal. Great team there we had an amazing time.

Gin martini was undrinkable. They were out of 1st 2 wines we ordered. Food was pretty good.

This is a 5+ star restaurant! Our first time back since covid and what a treat! Lively night, food was AMAZING and our server Olivia T, was phenomenal! I have gluten and dairy allergies and she took the time to double check things for me and made excellent recommendations, not making me feel like I was annoying her like other places do . . . So much more for me to try each time we come back! She was very attentive, energetic, happy and very pleasant!! My husband had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and said it was incredible!! (a bit of heat with the jalapeños). Enjoyed every bite! Said the best Mac & Cheese hes had! I Had the Cajun Tahini Bowl with grilled chicken and a few modifications, and it was fabulous, I would totally have it again! You should try both of these dishes, you will not be disappointed!! Oh, and the presentation . . . Wow, not what I expected given the casual feel, everything was plated beautifully. We will totally be back weekly for sure! Thank you Olivia for all your efforts and enthusiasm! I should have taken a picture but it looked so good and we were starving so we started eating right away.
