Wanted something other than a burger and fries. Had the Prosciutto Tortellini - they should drop this gummy and tasteless item from their menu. Service was friendly, prompt and thorough. Beer was cold. Atmosphere was inviting Just don t get the tortellini.

Terrible service. The restaurant is not busy at all when I was there. However, they forgot to place my order on their machine, making me wait for nothing. The staff don t express any apology.

Food was mediocre at best. Had a cob salad. The chicken was a flat tiny piece of chicken with no flavor. My friends ceasar salad had a tiny piece of chicken with what seemed like bbq sauce on it. $23 for a salad. Will never go back. Very poor quality of food and very poor value for money.

From the time we walked in until we walked out we were impressed. Upon entering, the host asked if we wanted a veg/gluten sensitive menu. Which I needed and was very appreciative of. She sat us at a table, then came over a min later to tell us a large group would be sitting behind us and perhaps wanted to change seats to somewhere more quiet. (That right there meant a lot to us as we had a long day and just wanted to relax and eat). Our server Victoria was amazing! Super friendly and gave some great suggestions. The food was beyond. I had the burger with the GF bun and I m telling you it lifted my spirits. My partner had the club with the cranberry bread and said it was the best they ve ever had. The only downfall to this restaurant is there isn t one in Halifax! You should all be proud of your restaurant.

Went here for a boys night out and had a great time. Veronica and Melissa really took care of us and left a great impression, will be coming back for sure.

This place is not only good if you come with someone but you experience wholesomeness even if you come alone. Staff is really good and food is top tier.

We came here all the way on a Tuesday afternoon to try their Blackened Salmon and Calamaries but were disappointed that both these were unavailable. Instead, we next settled for their Nachitos and their Chicken Wings. It did seem like a compensation to what we actually wanted, and really did taste too good. My family enjoyed it, dissecting every piece of the nachitos to get to the flavors. Wings were crispy enough. Their service is good and have had activity paper in hand to keep my baby busy on while we dined. was definitely worth the try though, good work!

This was our first time, Union Social came highly recommended because of their GF menu, which was a full menu and looked amazing; I was excited to try it!! Although the food was delicious, unfortunately our overall experience wasnt anything worth reccomending. They were out of 5 dishes on the GF menu on a Saturday night while more than half the restaurant was empty. Out of Bacon Salt Brussel Sprouts, Wings, all 3 of the Sushi Stacks and no GF Naan either; extremely frustrating everytime I picked something to be told they didnt have it. My husbands Stella on tap was sour and musty, they did replace it without issue. He ordered the Prochiutto Tortellini, only to receive 1 slice of Prochiutto as a garnish. We had to ask for cutlery after our meals were served, I only got a water refill when I had 2 bites of my dish left and had to ask for it, I ate my entire entrée without anything to drink because the server didnt come to check on us until we were nearly finished. While all the menu items seem appetizing and what we had was flavourful, I dont expect to go back.

Had dinner there on a Wednesday night. Our waitress Danielle was super friendly, personable, attentive and an absolute gem ! Appetizer, mains were all very good. I made an error when ordering my main and she happily offered to fix it. (sub in a salad for the white rice in my bowl.} It was my sons birthday so she brought and comped him an amazing chocolate mars brownie with ice cream, complete with candle. Food was good, service was stellar. Oh well be back !!!

Hi, tonight was our first experience at your restaurant and may I say it was delightful. My wife had the Brussel sprouts and the chicken vandoloo and she loved every bite of it. As for me I had the chicken tacos and the tortellinis and same result, every bite was well worth it. Our server Veronica was exceptional and no pressure throughout the entire dinner. Needless to say we were very happy and not to mention full when we left. We will definitely return and try other items on your excellent menu. Solid atmosphere and well priced food. Restaurant was slammed on a wintery Saturday night. A gem in the northern suburbs. Waitresses were stressed because they were so busy but still made a clear effort to show hospitality.

Food was good , server did not bring any, or offer any water.

We arrived before the rush and we were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and helpful. It has good energy and we could have a conversation without shouting Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options on the menu.

Bang bang chicken had so much flavour. The blackened salmon may have been one of the tastiest salmon dishes I have ever had.

Came here to meet up with some friends. Had the pleasure of having Stephanie as our waiter. She was attentive, kind, respectful and knowledgeable about the menu and gluten free options. The food was great, fair portions, good quality and presentation was there also. Only improvements I would suggest are to create a patio for the summer months and change up the colour and atmosphere inside, it s outdated to me, however these are just opinions.

Had the Nachitos and the steak frites. Nachitos looked sad and didn t taste good. Had the steak frites for the main. The steak was well cooked but the compound butter on top tasted bitter. Fries also looked sad and didn t taste good. The TVs are off colour with major dark spots and burn in on some. Overall wouldn t go back. There are much better options nearby.

It could get a bit busy at rush hour, all 3 times that I tried were really good. The candy salad was amazing and the almond crusted chicken was super tender and crispy!

The service is not the greatest, the restaurant was empty and it still took 30 minutes just for my table to order food. The staffs attitude was also bad, it was as if we were interrupting them. The staff were talking amongst themselves while their backs were toward us. even though we were the only people in the restaurant it was almost impossible to get their attention. The staff ignored me everytime I tried to ask for water or napkins. The food was tasty but the portions were small leaving me still hungry after the meal.

We arrived for a group meal with a reservation, tables were dirty. We had to go get menus, 30 min no drinks. Then they forgot the drinks . Slow service. Really disappointed.

Union Social Eatery is one of my favourite places to eat! Ive had more than one birthday dinner here, chill night out with the girls, or just grabbing a drink. I am celiac so have to eat gluten free and I love how many options they have and cater to any food accommodations! Most honourable mention goes out to their creme brulee ... to die for ... and shout out to our server Reni, what a cool guy

I love coming here, the food and service never disappoint. It s never rowdy, the quality is always top tier, and the vibes are always good. I have never had a meal I didn t enjoy and always have to end off with the always flavour changing creme brûlée! Our server Reni tonight was absolutely fantastic!

Tonight We had an awesome Waitress her name dani, we had great conversations with her, very friendly and sweet, always has a smile on her face, Had great Recommendations for us to try, and she wasnt wrong. The food was so good. We definitely will be back. If you go order theyre bang bang chicken!!

Absolutely the worst service. We asked for a gluten free menu and never got it from our waitress, had to ask someone else. Ordered a burger and fries asked for Chipotle sauce and guess what never got it. Hostess and other staff seemed friendly but our server couldn t be bothered. Food and ambience was good. Unfortunately not going to return back, better places out there.

Dark and dingy like their food. Their parm cheese wasn t even melted on the fries, no salt, and some of the fries were black. The bang bang chicken was over cooked and I think there was seasoning on the plate used for presentation and a Blob of sauce in the corner under some seared rice square LOL definitely made both me and my friend s stomach hurt. Our family celebrated the Mothers Day of 12 May 24 by booking a table for lunch. Right from the first greeting to the billing, the experience made our day. Our server Ms. Amanda D was very professional and courteous, giving advice for the menu selections, serving food, listening and promptly responding to any additional requests. The manager also visited our table twice to check on us. Excellent experience.

I went here with my family on Mothers day and it shows online on google they opened till 12AM.So I reserved the table for our family for 10PM.When we reached here,they said we opened only till 10PM.Sorry,we cant keep you here.You can go try Taps or other social eatery.Our family was so disappointed going here.I said its not our fault if it shows wrong hours,you guys did not update it accordingly.They did not even apologize properly.Not going here again ever.Better place is next door Boston Pizza.

My friend and I wanted casual dining but delicious, and we got just that. We really enjoyed our appetizers and meals. Our server was attentive but also understood we were friends who were catching up and let us be in our social bubble. I would definitely return!

I havent been here for a while but it was disappointing to read that it received citations from Peel Public Health inspections. Very surprising and I do hope they get their house in order. This review is to get the general public aware of their infractions.

This place used to be amazing but to hear theyve not complied with basic things like sanitation and pest control is truly disappointing. I will refrain from recommending this place till I hear they pass their next health inspection.

Great food and great service. My husband got the epic cheese burger and I got the tuna bowl. Well definitely be back! The host and server were delightful. The manager recommended the Mars bar brownie and it we amazing.

We have eaten here twice with friends from Brampton, both times it was very nice. Food was good although our friend had the candy chicken salad and this time it was very dry compared to last time. Overall its a relatively relaxed atmosphere, enjoyed the evening

It was a great experience, one of my colleagues has given me a welcome dinner here. Although, it was a month of Ramadan and I was fasting. We arrived after Iftari time. I am not sure if they offer Halal Food or not but quite good vegetarian and fish options were available. I ordered Tuna Fish dishes suggested by the waitress. The portion was fulfilling and delicious. I will definitely try it again. Parking: I am not sure about normal days it was a rainy day and we could find a parking lot in front of the hotel door.

Met a friend for a drink and some food. A very nice place. Great sevice, and hospitality. There will be a next time!

I came to Union Social Eatery with my wife for the first time and haded an amazing experience.Are waitress Dani was awesome, all her recommendations were perfect they all tasted amazing. She was friendly and knew her stuff. I will definitely be coming back cause of her. Overall awesome food and great workers.

Firstly, i have been to the plaza where this location is many times and never noticed this restaurant but saw it on google maps and saw the reviews were good so wanted to try it out. upon arriving to this location me and my husband thought the place was closed down because from the outside it looked dark and closed, we couldnt see inside at all.... plus the sign is not good visibility.... but WOW was it a great experience, my server Dani was amazing!!!! So friendly and so sweet, all her recommendations were amazing!!! She was great and my food was great, I loved the candy house salad WOW.... and bang bang chicken and the wings.... yummy. I cant wait to try the other things on the menu....The pumpkin chai flavored creme Brule OMG!!!!! I must go again...and the ambiance was really good too, cozy place. LOVED IT!!!!

Ate here with some friends, the service was decent, a tad slow at times however the food came out quickly. The steak and frites were delish, would recommend that dish. They were out of several others foods at the time. The seat had some food on it which I had to brush off before sitting. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

Terrible service and poor staff attitude

Very slow service, they keep forgetting order. Additionally we specifically said that we want vegetarian menu and they ended up giving us pasta which had chicken. Just NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Very slow service.Despite requesting water after waiting for nearly 15 minutes,the server would bring it all together.Nachos were below average with hardly any cheese or any other toppings.Very disappointed with the place.Simply unacceptable.

Went twice. The first night I was there was disappointing at best. Service was terrible. Food not so good. Had the prosciutto tortellini. Wasnt pleasant. Second night went as part of business group. Veronica was outstanding. The reason the review was improved. Food was still mediocre at best.

We had a large family birthday get-together. Menu was a bit limited, but the food we ordered was good. Our server Veronica did a great job serving our large group.

The manager greeted us and the hostess was very pleasant. Veronica was our waitress and she was fantastic. The food and atmosphere were great. Everyone working there seemed genuinely interested in making our experience great.

We ate at Union Social recently with another couple. It was our first time there. As young seniors we were very happy with the food, service & ambiance, but also and most important the fact that we could have good conversation without yelling to be heard. Tired of those loud restaurants with music blaring which makes it difficult to hear each other. Our server was a gem. I m sorry that I don t remember her name. She had a great sense of humour while doing her job professionally and efficiently. We will definitely be back soon!

Total rip off. Worst food and service that I have ever experienced Servers have poor attitude. We had reservations for 12 but when we showed up we were told there was no reservation even though we showed them the confirmation. The manager was unapologetic and had no remorse - wow, some poor managerial trait. Perfect place if you want to destroy your restaurant experience and get disappointed. Charged 20% gratuity and didn t even tell us the gratuity was already included in the bill - again ready to rip off.

Great food and excellent service. The quantity and quality of the food is exceptional as well. Place is a bit noisy though and this makes it difficult to have a conversation with others at the table.

I recently visited Union Social Eatery and had a okay dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made for a very pleasant atmosphere. However, the food was a bit of a letdown. The nachos were the highlight of the meal, delicious and well-prepared. But, unfortunately, the other dishes like the burgers and poke didn t quite hit the mark for me. They lacked the flavor and quality I was hoping for. It s a great place if you re going for the vibe and some light snacks, but might not be the best choice if you re in the mood for a standout meal.

Always friendly servers, the ambience is great and the food is DELICIOUS! A lot of different options, Id suggest the chicken vidaloo or ace high club. My only critic is its a little hard to see when they turn the lights down at night. The candles are a nice touch though.

We had our friends surprise 30th birthday and had the best experience! We had a large group of almost 35 people but the experience was smooth and beat all expectations! Our wait staff and bar staff were beyond amazing! We absolutely cannot wait to celebrate more occasions with them!

I was a guest at a birthday gathering tonight and I was BLOWN AWAY by the service here. I really wish I got our servers names but they were incredible. A group of over 30 people, usually takes some time and mistakes are bound to happen. It s totally acceptable but I didn t even experience that Service was quick, no mix-ups/mistakes and I didn t hear anyone else have any issues either. They were accommodating and kind with No attitude (which is sadly rare lately). I was bummed that on the initial menu I only saw one vegetarian option but when I mentioned it to the server, she brought me a whole veg menu and had no problems reciting the top dishes since I had no idea what I wanted. If I needed more time she gave me a few minutes and returned. To boot, no min. spend for such a large group, no set menu, no Service charge, no extra fees whatsoever. It was truly refreshing dining here. At most other places, dining with 6 or more tends to be an issue but this was 30+ and it was seamless. I had the veg buffalo tofu tacos and they were delish and filling! This was a fabulous experience for me. Vegetarian options: Lovely menu. Lots of variety

We have been coming here for a very long time. Like the place. Like the vibe. Like the food. I wasn t sure how the Chicken Vindaloo would be!!! But turned out it was delicious. Perfect. Keep it up guys. Last but not the least- thank you Melissa.

Went there for dinner, waited about forty minutes for our food order to be taken. I ordered the prosciutto tortellini, it came out way too quick, and sure enough it was cold within the first couple of bites. Also noticed another table sending back two plates as well, which definitely is not a good look for the place. Definitely do not recommend, and definitely not returning here.

First time at this location and service was very poor. We asked for wine and 2 of the selections were unavailable. Sangria tasted like fruit juice. Salad was ok. When we decided to order dinner around 9 pm we were told that they were too busy catering to a group and even though they are taking our order, there is no guarantee it will be prepared. No last calls?? We had to leave hungry. Will not come back to this location again!!!!

The worst experience ever. I went to the Mississauga location thinking it was as good as the Toronto Union Social, which I visit on weekly bases. But, I was so wrong. The food was bad, flat taste, cold, and obviously left for a long time. When n the manager was notified, all what he could say: You dont want the food, okay, then removed the plate without any apology or suggestion, and left in rush. Then even worse sending me a $0.00 invoice for a food that was practically garbage. Unforgettable bad memory, and wouldnt advise any one to go there.

Food was absolutely fantastic. Their fries are shoestring style, similar to McDonalds fries which I absolutely love. Service was amazing as well. Veronica was awesome and super pleasant. Truly appreciate her attentiveness! Thanks so much!
