The roast duck is delicious and filling.

The dishes in this meal are truly exceptional. The Peking duck boasts golden, crispy skin and tender, juicy meat, perfectly paired with thin pancakes, scallions, and sweet bean sauce for a burst of authentic flavors. The stir-fried shredded pork in Beijing sauce is fragrant and flavorful, complemented by crunchy cucumber strips. The salt and pepper prawns are plump and crispy, with succulent meat and spot-on seasoning.

Overall it wasnt that bag just without the server. We ordered thru the self ordering QR. Food was brought out by food runner. There was no interaction. We packed our leftovers ourself. Basically you ask for whatever you need since they just give you the takeout containers.

I haven t been there for a while. When I went there a few days ago, there were only 3 or 4 people at the table. Some of the dishes were much smaller than before. The blueberry yam that my children liked in the past became a whole roast duck squeezed on the potato chips. There were only 10 pieces of cake, and the edges were all hard. I didn t know how long it had been there, but I had to use the microwave to turn it around. , the waiter kept chatting without any service except serving the food. When he finally paid the bill, he said that a 15% tip was good. Unexpectedly, after paying the bill, he found out that the tip was calculated directly after tax, although it was not much. , but this approach is really bad, I have never seen anything like this, bad review

The spicy chicken was overcooked, very numb and not tasty. The meat has risen, which is weird.

Been there many times just for the food, the service is usually missing. I would recommend take out if you can.

I was first introduced to Foodie North in 2019. It was very crowded then, right now it s less busy. Pandemic really hit hard for some businesses, especially restaurants. I personally found there is no change in the food quality and service. It s kinda sad to see some people complain about the food portion vs price, hence the bad rating. I think this is a good restaurant with a variety of different dishes. There are also big tables where you can bring your family or friends. Something to note though, I find the heat in dine in was insufficient during the winter time. It was cold, which led to gloomy atmosphere.

they have amazing staff! super welcoming and they always greet you happily. i took a point off for food because, while i really enjoy their dishes, there arent many veggie or meat free options. the portions are huge though!! my favorite meal ive had here is their broccoli and egg whites platter, its plated beautifully and everything is super hot and fresh. goes great with hot steamed rice, their rice at foodie north is the best steamed rice ever, perfectly cooked and somewhat chewy too.

Foods ok, not excellent and not bad, price is not cheap, but within reasonable range. Environnement is very spacious, excellent for families with kids.

Today my husband and I had dinner at Beidian. The restaurant environment is very clean, elegant and comfortable. The service staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The roast duck and Di San fresh eggplant we ordered were very delicious ! The millet porridge here has the taste of the porridge my mother made when I was a child, soft, glutinous, and sweet! The eating dinner at Foodie North made our weekend so enjoyable! Such a great date night !

FOOD SAFETY ALERT! We had Peking duck($66), crab meat and corn soup($22), fried rice($20). Both my fiance and I are still having a terrible stomachache and diarrhea, and vomiting from the food. We have never gotten sick from eating out before. The manager said I need to produce a doctors note. Irresponsible! Eat at this place knowing that they serve unsafe food and youre at risk of food poisoning. Overpriced, small portioned, greasy dishes

From the moment I crossed the threshold, I was greeted with genuine warmth and sophistication. North Eater Restaurant is a famous Chinese restaurant in Mississauga. It has been in business for many years, and the food and service are unique. worth tasting

We came here for my 50th birthday. The service was amazing! Some recommendations from us would be the 0002. Feature Beijing Roast Duck, 2003 Vermicelli in Sichuan Sauce, 6003 Sautéed potato; green pepper; and eggplant, and my personal favorite: Griddle Cooked Potato w Pork. Would totally recommend Foodie North, and I would say it is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Mississauga.

The service was top-notch, as it operated through an efficient online system. With just a simple scan of a barcode, I was able to effortlessly place my order without any need for staff interaction. The drinks were promptly delivered to my table within minutes. The establishment itself was impeccably clean, and the availability of a spacious parking area was an added convenience. We went for dim sum and the food was delicious. Portion sizes were slightly larger than average but the prices were much higher than expected and did not offset the portion size. Service was good and the location was clean. Location was not busy on a Thursday at lunch. Interesting washrooms. They have a large parking lot but parking is spread out. I think there are better options for dim sum at more reasonable prices. Parking: Large parking lot but you may need to walk a little.

Great food and good value. Ordered a supreme beijing duck and got the carcass with it too! So we made a soup. Their spicy fried lamb was a hit as well.

Sub-par dining experience, very limited selection of dim sum. Soup portions are huge. Clean and tidy place, though most of the staff had to defer to someone else to communicate with us in English. For the serving and quality, you can get better value for money elsewhere.

It s been a long time since I went to eat at Beishike. I ve always liked their roast duck, but I haven t been there recently and I miss it a bit. I just went there today when I had time. I was very disappointed. I wonder if the chef has been changed? The roast duck was cold, and the meat in the pot was so thick that you couldnt find the meat. A small bowl of rice cost $4. In the end, we couldnt eat it and took away the roast duck. The waiter used a small round box to help us scrape the remaining roast duck sauce. When I went in, I asked if I could give him another sauce, and I was told that it would cost more. Oh my God, the business was so bad that I couldn t afford even a small box of sweet noodle sauce? , okay, the original good impression is gone once and for all, and I will never go there again

The service is terrible and the cashier/waitress at the cash register is extraordinarily rude. It is not just slow and not answering questions that type of rude. That waitress literally just tell us to F off because we tried to ask when we can receive our order. We were patient for the whole time. I am not sure why they keep such a disrespectful waitress at this restaurant but after reviewing the comments I think she may be the owner/manager so this all makes sense. I would never go to foodie north again

Delicious Peking duck!

I have been eating it for 8 years, and I suddenly thought about it today. I ordered the salt and pepper pork ribs, which I would not normally order, and found that it tasted much better than before. It was very boring before. The seasoning of the lions head has also improved, the steamed pork is fat but not greasy and melts in your mouth, and the spicy and sour potato shreds have the flavor of a domestic doorstep store.

Great spot for regional Chinese food. Love the quick service and very nice staff. Truly. Most Chinese restaurants bless their hearts are a bit off putting but these guys were nice and efficient. Food was fantastic and the aesthetic of the restaurant too was really nice. Had the Beijing roast duck and it was perfect.

The quality of the food is getting worse and worse. I just visited during the 2024 Spring Festival. I ordered squirrel fish, and the fish was fried like a leather belt, not crispy at all. But the price is 1.5 times what it was five years ago.

The food here was mediocre but service is unbelievably slow. We waited an hour for our first dish and then each dish took another hour to come. Ended up eating only the first two dishes and gave up. Would not recommend coming on any day that may be busy, it s not worth waiting 3 hours for food. On top of that, the fish was half cold after waiting 3 hours for it, and the server tried to tell us that it sat underneath a fan before coming to the table. Do not eat here unless you want to waste your money.

The food is authentic. It is very flavourful and has strong chinese spices. Its definitely a must try. Love the vibe inside the restaurant. One thing, it is on a pricier side compared to other Chinese restaurants. I would definitely come back again and try other dishes.

BBQ Duck is the best

It tastes good, but the waiter is a little outrageous. It turns out that tipping is compulsory in Canada. All I can say is that it tastes ugly.

The squirrel fish was handled very poorly and the fishy smell was not removed at all. The sauce was poorly prepared and the sourness was too strong to taste the sweetness. The pork ribs, kelp and tofu soup was too bland, just like water, the pork ribs also had a fishy smell and was completely inedible. Terrible food and mediocre service

It was a good experience here at Foodie North. The staffs welcome you with smile including their manager, Tina. One of my very good friends recommended foods in the menu that they are definitely a MUST to try. Will recommend this place to my friends and try the lobster, spare ribs zhenjiang style, the jelly cold dish and dumpling chinese chives. We will look forward to try the peking duck soon. Tried this restaurant for the first time and I was happy about it. The food was good, above average I would say. A bit pricey if you pay original price, consider becoming a member if you will return and have the discount instantly. Recommend the roast duck. // Returned 10 days after my first visit and the quality of the food completely changed, not sure if it s due to the holiday season all the dishes we ordered tasted a bit cold and felt like being prepared in advance. The roast duck was cold as well. The fried beef was covered with too much cumin and chilli pepper and didn t taste like beef at all. I was very disappointed for the second visit.

Just visited Foodie North tonight and was very disappointed about the food. All dishes were super salty and the speed was slow. The quality of all our familar menu itms declined signicantly compared with years ago and even last year. The pricing however was significantly highrr than before the CPVID-19.

Dont order General Tsos fish (squirrel fish). I went to McDonalds and lost the bread in the fish burger. Its better to eat fish dry than this. The food is slow and expensive. The fish has a dull taste. The food is expensive and the portion is less salivary. I can only say that it is passable, but the ingredients are obviously not fresh.

The red date steamed buns are quite delicious, but the squirrel fish is not as good as the left chicken. It also has a fishy smell from deep-fried food, and the saliva chicken is so salty that I cant stop salivating. The most important thing is Panggui 6/10

As someone who came from China and lives in downtown Toronto, I can confidently say that the food here is very authentic and definitely worth the travel out to Mississauga. 100% recommend! Our server Tina was very helpful and patient in assisting us with our order, making the dining experience a true pleasure.

The quality of the food have been good in the past. But recently, they did a promotion on Fantuan, a food delivery platform offering $100 restaurant credit for $85. I purchased it and arrived at the restaurant only to be told rudely by the waitresses that I cant use the credit because they never offered the promotion. I dont think the platform will sell this restaurant credit without consent from the restaurant, but theyve clearly backed up on the offer. Is this some kind of sketchy tactic to get customers without honoring the promotional offer?

I ordered roast duck and it was served very quickly, but the duck meat was not served. The cumin duck rack was served first, which I couldnt understand.

Food is all very oily and salty. Would not come here even if it was the only option. We spent just over $50 per person here.

Ate Peking Duck, but served with duck meat. Skin is not separated. Beef with Broccoli is delicious and the beef is so tender. We also ate the shrimps with king mushrooms. The shrimp were prawns and lastly we ate Hargow, 4 big sized with shrimps. Will surely go back for the Lamb cooked in hotpot.
