It is a good staple Chinese restaurant, with some added uniqueness in some of their dishes. As a family we tried their specialty spareribs, a popular item. I think we were just not expecting the difference in ribs per bone, the dry and the moist. The chunky, moist ribs were excellent but the dry were just not great, so the dish overall was just lacking. Flavour was good but depending on the rib it was either amazing or terrible. Otherwise everything else was good, you know that precision that almost every Chinese restaurant hits in terms of quality of their dishes. It was very busy when we went, it took a long time to get a table but we were able to get seated and they were helpful in providing a child seat for my nephew. Noting it as a taste-worthy spot in this part of Mississauga.
We heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and we decided to try it out. We got here a bit early around 4:30pm Saturday and it wasn’t too packed. We ordered the signature sweet ribs and the chicken pot, they are so good! Really feels like family style cooking - not overloaded with salt or MSG. We tried their dessert as well which are equally good. Highly recommend if you are looking for some authentic Cantonese food.
Went today with family, 6 of us. We ordered 1 soup plus 5 dishes, two of them were from “chef recommend”. And honestly, EVERYONE in my family (yes even my two small kids) said their food was bad! I think the only dish on par was the stir fried vermicelli 🫣 crazy. And of course, there was no service at all! We asked for tea ourselves and had to remind them twice for water and utensils… how did this place get 4.2??
Typical Chinese restaurant. Tofu dish not my fav. But the batter for the rib and the squid tentacle were really good. The squid appearances were not what I typically seem and surprisedly pretty good. That rib dish is my fav. The beans dish was really yummy too. I say about 4.5 stars but what the heck five stars it is.
Ordered a three dish combo takeout. Comes with soup (carrot, tofu, seaweed, pork). Really good meal overall the portions are more than sufficient. Soup was excellent and lots of ingredients. The fried pork chop was not fatty. Sweet and sour pork was delicious and not too much batter. Beef and broccoli had a lot of broccoli. Would come back again.
TL;DR: Yummy. We'll be back. I thought the Trithis name was a bit gimmicky ("try this") but we're very glad to have dined here. Our party of 5 was lucky to be seated quickly on a busy Sunday evening. The restaurant has a mix of booths and tables. We got a medium sized (could comfortably seat 7-8) round table that featured a combination of bench seating and chairs, and a big Lazy Susan. We ordered the Peking Duck (prepared 2 ways: pancakes and lettuce wrap) combo and a couple of additional dishes. The food was excellent. Highly recommend. We'll be back for more.
First time we went to this restaurant. The Taiwanese seafood noodle dish was tasty but the shrimps were chopped up so tiny and mixed with onions. The rice noodle with shrimps and eggs was very mushy. One of us had a digestion issue. They should not be charging .30c per container big or small. Service was super.
I visit quite often, almost monthly. Good quality food and friendly staff. The price is also not too expensive. This is the one of best Chinese restaurant in Mississauga that I visit regularly. Revisited after changing the owner. The quality is still the same.
Food not like before taste good,( I visited this restaurant over 4 years) may change other in charge, hopefully the boss more smile, improve the service and the food.
Today, I came with 8 people, and I our server James did a phenomenal, despite the busy crowd of people, we got sat down by James very quickly and the food very authentic and delicious. The restaurant looked spectacular. 100 percent coming back next time with my family, and bringing other new people to try. This experience was amazing I am happy to have tried this!!!!!!!!!:)
Lots of food but not a good quality food.
Bad reviews of Xiao Chao House: Went for dinner last night with 2 friends, 3 children, 6 adults, a total of 9 people. There were obviously two big tables empty, but the 9 of us were not allowed to sit down. We were asked to sit at the scattered table at the entrance. Every time someone came in, there was a gust of winter wind, and there was no consideration that 3 of us would catch colds . Lets eat some gas before we eat [Angry][Angry]
Fish maw sweet corn soup is excellent Egg tofu was also nice.
Try the Peking Duck...nice...good food, great value for money
Its just a little salty, but it still tastes good
Food was authentic and so good and kind service
Top food, pork belly and chicken are a must-eat in winter, a must-visit
The food is tasty and the service is also excellent! Clean environment and good food! Highly recommended!
Good service Good Food
Excellent Cantonese restaurant, authentic cuisine and cozy atmosphere. Legendary honey spareribs are truly LEGENDARY!
Please be aware: Takeout time is always like 1 hour long. Every time I order online, they do not start cooking after 30 mins. Today I ordered at 6:30pm, and I also called them saying I will be there in 20 mins like 6:50 to pick my order, please start cooking right away. They said in the phone call no problem. When I arrived they did not start cooking until 7:10pm. Which I ended up getting my order again at 7:30pm. What is wrong with this takeout management?? The parking is extremely hard in the plaza as well which makes me very angry.
discrimination/discrimination. As a customer for 20+ years, I just found out this restaurant became discriminating to Mandarin Speakers after recent ownership change. The waitress or manager would give priorities and greetings to Cantonese Speaker in its favorite, although our family came first in queue much earlier around 2PM Sat, 2024/11/09. When questioned about this offensive, the waitress responded with it does not matter/no big deal and the Manager Lee or Li chose no response. My family will never come back. Thank you for your discrimination! David As a customer for over 20 years, I just discovered that this restaurant discriminates against Mandarin speakers after a recent change of ownership. Even though our family was at the front of the line at around 2pm on Saturday 2024/11/09, the waitress or manager would give priority to Cantonese speakers and say hello to them. When asked about this offense the waitress The answer was It doesnt matter (its not a big deal), but Manager Li chose not to respond. My family will never come back. Thank you for your discrimination!
Food waiting time is short. Foods are fresh and delicious. Price is acceptable. Parking: Park your car in the Golden Square area. There are a lot of parking spots at the back, in front of the Btrust grocery store. Food : 5/5 |
I don t usually write restaurant comment. But last meal with this restaurant was bad. We ordered a set dinner. One of the dishes was stirred fried beef. The meat were small both in size and quantity. There were at least 3 times more onion than beef. We also ordered sweet and sour pork. The meat were so small that after coated with batter, could not even feel them in mouth. I will not recommend this. Totally not worth to try.
Very recommended Chinese food restaurant. Especially the honey garlic rib
It s amazing that there is such a delicious restaurant in Mississauga. It beats all the surrounding restaurants instantly. The waiter Olivias service attitude is super good. Will come again
Came so many times, really love the food here!
Awesome Chinese food here! Will be back again.
My go-to chinese restaurant!! :) I love that they have a lot of options to choose from, quick service and their food is good! Food
we ordered 4 pax combo for 6 pax plus 2 ala carte and we could barely finish it.
The food here is really delicious. My specific go to is the sweet and sour chicken. Its still crispy when served at the restaurant which offers a pleasant experience for the palate. Portions are big and the price is right!
I walk by this place at least hundred times for the past so many years but never went .Finally decide to check it out.Surprise quality of food is not bad .off course depend on what you order but in general fair n acceptable... Come again today..ok....I went to this place again today..order a beef vegetable fry noodle...
This is bar one of the best Chinese restaurants. Come here all the time and the staff are amazing. I even bring my black friends who s love it Parking: Parking in front
Fabulous
The food is always delicious here! Prepared with care and attentive/accommodating to preferences. The staff is great, always polite and friendly. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Also, they serve huge portions! We always have food to take home for a whole other meal
Went here during Lunch with Family and got the bittermelon and grouper Chow Mein, a Wonton rice noodle soup, a Fried Vermicelli Noodle in Guilin Style, and a sweet and sour pork. The Sweet and Sour Pork was cooked perfectly and the fruits and vegetables were great I had part of the chow mein and the noodles were crispy and were very good. There was so much food that I had to take the Vermicelli noodle as take out. I had it the next day for lunch and it took was perfect. If I am in the area again, I will be back!
fair price with good foods
There are good chefs here for sure. All the food that we have tried are met our expectations.
Very friendly staff, food and service was fast Everything was very tasty Food
Excellent service food is very delicious. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. Food
We have been coming here for 4 years now and the food and service never disappoint. Very clean place and the service is amazing. Super friendly staff.
Great food. Excellent value.
Clean. Great prices. Very delicious dishes. Good service. More dinner combos. Recengly the restaurant has a new owner
good enough Vegetarian options: good Dietary restrictions: more than good
This is my third time ordering their general tso chicken take out. I was very disappointed with my latest order. The dish was 95% steam rice and only 5% chicken. I paid $17.00 essentially for a carton of plain white rice. The portion size was not worth the price. Would not recommend and won t be returning.
Good price and good service
Horrible service. Waitress was grumpy cause she wanted us to order more. Said if you make reservations that you have to order a certain amount. Maybe if you told us in advance I would understand. Waitress rushed us in our order, which got us flustered and messed up our order. What a horrible experience. Never coming back.
Super rude waitress working here. Had a table of 6 adults and 4 kids. After we ordered our dishes, this waitress said you should order more cus we made reservations with an angry and rude face. She walked away and didnt even take our drink orders. As we are telling her, she said she will get it later while walking off. What?!? She seem like shes so busy with the entire restaurant, even thought there were 3 other waitresses there. If youre so grumpy, you shoudnt come into work. This is unfortunate as we came here before and the food was good but with this service, Ill go else where. It only takes one bad apple to ruined the batch and this will be our last time eating here....
The portions are generous and prices are decent. Highly recommend the honey garlic oysters
The waitress was quite friendly but a little patronizing, something I often get at Asian restaurants when I order food they dont think I, a white guy, will like. Alas, my order of intestines seemed more like an order of peppers and onions with a few intestines hidden in between. Very spicy and flavorful, but such a small portion for a pretty hefty price relative to other restaurants Ive been to. In the end, since they do load you up with tea and soup, you may leave feeling satisfied.
When packing up leftover food, I found a hair in the plate under food, and informed the owner. She said, I dont know if thats your own hair that fell in..., my hair is much longer and tied, my son is short hair. Will never go back to this restaurant.
Trithis Chinese Restaurant offers delicious food in a cozy atmosphere.Excellent service made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Have their signature pineapple sweet and sour pork with rice lunch special that came with a coffee/tea. Decent portion and tasty.
Great place for greasy Cantonese food. Friends who live in the area recommended it so we decided to give it a try. We got the Peking duck combo, two orders of turnip cake, green beans and Cantonese chow mein. We also got assorted desserts. Total came out to about $200 for 6 people. Would probably come again but try some of the other stuff. They ran out of the rice noodles while we were there unfortunately.
One server had extremely bad manner
The waitress wouldn t take the bill until there was tip in it. I was paying for the food and was going to tip. Now I don t even want to tip anymore. Awful
I have eaten here countless times! Went here for both lunch and dinner...because the price and taste quality are acceptable! They have a variety of delicious side dishes, so there are so many to choose from! This is my first visit... I especially like to eat some of their stir-fried beef dishes! But for more than half a year... I havent called it Niuhe anymore, because I have felt that the beef is very salty many times... and it no longer has the moist and lubricating texture before! The other mentioned side dish, Mei Cai Braised Pork, tastes good...but every time there is always a lack of prunes...I even doubt whether the important role of plumbs really exists on the plate? To be honest... the amount of pickled vegetables may be in Hong Kong restaurants... it seems to be about one-fifth portion or less, but this problem of missing pickled vegetables... has been the same in other restaurants in Toronto in the past! Every waiter is nice, but the store still has other minor problems for diners... For example, it happened to me several times that I got the wrong order... Maybe it was because of the noisy environment, or I made the wrong side dishes... I always followed They accepted it with a few pleasantries! Since every diner s experience is different, I won t go into details here! Help here...from three or four times a week at the beginning...to now maybe once a week or two weeks! But I will still continue to come here to help! 20240416 I haven t been to this store for eight months! Today I ordered stir-fried beef and sweet and sour pork with rice. The beef and sweet and sour pork were just average...and half of the sweet and sour pork was powdered. The taste and quality of this restaurant is no longer the same as when it was a new store in the early days! Hope they can improve the quality of food! I don t know how long it will be before I visit again next time!
The food is very good and taste l would recommend this place to go to and the prices and quality is excellent
Lunch specials are great value. Valid seven days a week until 4pm. Vegetarian options: No meat in the dishes but may not be vegan Food : 5/5 |
I m telling y all now the sweet and sour pork will change your life. The sizzling peppercorn beef tenderloin, spare ribs, green beans, egg fried rice and Taiwanese noodles are bangers. I m sure my mom and I eat here once a week lol. Amazing food
Food court quality . Portion is small. Customer service is the worst. The lady looked like the owner no manner at all.
Their Legend Honey Pork Spareribs is excellent as well as their sweet and sour pork. Other dishes are very good too.
Very fresh and tasty food!
Great authentic Chinese food at reasonable prices. Take-out combo dishes are the best. They also have dishes the kids enjoy which is a plus.
Good family run Chinese restaurant
Staff is friendly but the manager not so much. Took our order, didnt write it down or repeat what we ordered to us. Ended up bringing something we didnt order and pushed it onto us. Had a bad attitude, insisting that we ordered it, but there was no record of that.
The owner brought us dish we never ordered and messed up our order. She did by purpose to charge us additional dish and for sure that she planned for it. I regret we didn t reject and just accepted it. As my hubby s birthday that I didn t wanna argue with her. The owner gave us attitude. Rude people , Sold out everything we asked for. Dishes are small size and food court quality. Won t be back again and not recommended. So unhappy with their dishonest.
Me and my family dined in here for Lunch as we saw some posts about this restaurant on Facebook and The staff were very nice and made us feel like home. We ordered multiple dishes and enjoyed all of them, and we ordered takeout as well as the food was delicious. I decided to leave a review after visiting here multiple times with family. The only thing is that they charge 30 cents per plastic takeout box or cup. The atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant. Everything was written in Chinese (almost) which made us feel like we were back in China.
We used to go here when they were called Golden Moon and everything is the same with some new dishes added to the menu. Thanks Queenie for maintaining your family s business with delicious general Taos chicken & broccoli, Ginger beef, calamari and can t wait to try your husbands ribs!!!
Family favourite dinner spot! Love their food. Highly recommend.
Just a heads up you have to pay for your takeout containers!!!
Simply the best Chinese restaurant in West GTA. Like all food we ordered.
Food and prices are excellent. Everything came out hot and fresh. If the place is busy, you may be waiting.
Great food, great people, great service! Must try the Honey Olive Spare Ribs.
Had the claypot and fried oysters for dinner along with a sesame paste dessert. Claypot was flavourful and fried oysters was well seasoned with some powder seasoning. Sesame paste had the perfect consistency, was served hot, and wasn t too sweet, exactly the way I like it. Service by the staff was great too!!
Went today, January 1st, at 5pm, it was already packed and got our first dish 45 minutes later, but I understand. Food was great. But one staff was pretty rude from the start. When we ordered a combo, the rude lady suddenly asked if we will pay cash, so we thought we could get some discounts, so we asked if we will get some benefits (otherwise no staff would ask such question), but she replied: today we are too busy, there are no discounts. We also asked for a mango slush, then the lady was super impolite we are too busy to make this drink so dont order it now; however I still insisted to order that drink right away. Since Im pretty sure the staffs sharing their tips, and other staffs were pretty polite, I still decided to tip 19%. When we were about to leave, wearing coats, I went into the washroom, in the meantime the rude lady almost threw my family out just because of other clients were waiting for our table. My sister in-law almost yell at her you dont treat your customers like that. If I knew it earlier, I would have asked my tips back.
Bad service, very slow
Very good food and service
The food here is amazing. The service is also amazing. My family and I eat here a lot. Better than congee Queen by far!!!!!
Taste is ok+. Very busy. Little service. (The first time of my visit:) They miscalculated our bills (overcharging) and also forgot to serve our soups. Anyway it s a good place. I ve come many times for The bill was miscalculated, I was almost overcharged, and the order was not fully paid... very frustrating...
Good place, good food and good price
Large variety on menu, good food, good service, can be very busy during special holidays, lots of free parking.
I dined in for the first time here recently, and had a good experience. I thought I would try out their take out. Especially in this post pandemic era of inflation of prices and shrinkflation of portion sizes, I ve had to change out a lot of my go-to places. Sweet corn and fish maw soup - I ordered a large, which came as 2 small containers. Great, subtle flavour, and lots of fish maw. Legendary honey olive pork spareribs - ok, it lives up to the name. Lightly crispy and not overwhelmingly olive-y in flavour, it strikes the right balance of sweet, salty, and savoury. King oyster mushroom and snow pea leaves - very good flavour and texture. Portion size also quite reasonable. Beef tenderloin in HP sauce - it s the same sauce as Peking pork chops, but just with beef. The meat was nicely tender and the dish isn t filled with onions. Very good. Dry fried beef rice noodle - just like how I know this dish (it s a staple). It was good that they didn t overload this dish with onions. Good portion size. Could use a little more wok hei. BBQ pork fried rice - very good portion size. Flavour is a little more subtle than I like. It also could use a little more wok hei. Overall, I would come back for both dine in and take out. Their menu is comprehensive, so there s a lot to try.
Great taste and high quality food
Best Cantonese / Chinese Restaurant ever! Everything is so flavorful. Perfect texture for anything breaded and fried. Meat is fresh and tender.
This is an average and small Chinese restaurant. Tables are too close to one another. When you are in the restaurant, you will feel so noisy as all the surfaces (ceiling, wall & floor) are hard surfaces that sounds are bouncing back and forth inside the space. It is acoustically poor. The food quality is average, and the service is acceptable. I was there on Saturday night when there were 3 tables holding a birthday dinner. The restaurant was full, but food serving time and general services are acceptable.
Went here with friends for Peking Duck, but they were sold out (best to call ahead to check stock). We decided to order a bunch of dishes from the menu; spare ribs, chicken fried rice, tilapia in black bean sauce, garlic vegetables and Singapore noodles. Everything was served quickly and was excellent quality and taste. This restaurant is busy, with lots of families enjoying dinner here. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Parking in the plaza was busy. Overall, well be coming back.
Delicious!
Great food.
Went there on weekend for lunch with some friends. They were very busy during lunch time. Had to wait for maybe 10-15 mins to get table. We ordered the three dish set and added on their signature chicken + pork intestine soup. Though I don t eat any pork intestine, but the soup was really good. I saw quite a few tables ordered the soup, some literally just ordered a pot of soup for share among two persons, without any other dishes. Staff isn t the most helpful/friendly, not that surprised to be honest. I do recommend that soup dish, and probably would go back to try their lunch set, and their huge selection of Asian desserts
The food is pretty good; price is reasonable; but service is non-existent (PUA and rude).
This restaurant has been going there one after another over the years since it was not renamed Xiao Chao House. But the experience today was very bad. Five of us entered the restaurant at early 2 oclock in the afternoon. A middle-aged female waiter with tied hair asked me what I wanted to order. I said I havent thought about it yet. After a while, I asked if there was a set meal with sliced duck? She pointed me to where it was on the menu. Then I said thank you and I will take a look. She just walked away. I mainly wanted to ask my son if he wanted to eat this set meal. I confirmed that I was ordering food and asked her to come over. The first thing she said was, hurry up and order food. We need to eat at three oclock. I can understand that they need to eat at three oclock, but this time is only around 2:15. I dont think we spent a lot of time ordering before or after. I asked her if she chose the duck lettuce wrap for this sliced duck, would there be a duck rack? She said no. Just choose the pieces. After she finished speaking, she asked me rudely, Have you never eaten it? I replied to her that I have never eaten from your place. And she left. (Because every restaurant is different, when I ate at Manjianghong next door, in addition to lettuce wraps, the duck rack was also made into duck rack soup). We ordered a single order of fried rice, which was very bland when we ate it. I want to say re-fry it. As a result, this eldest lady asked me while holding this fried rice, how do you want to add it, salt or something else? I said, just fry it however you want. But what I want to say in my heart is that this rice is too bland. You asked me what to add. You are a restaurant owner. Do you want me to tell you to add sugar? Its really rare to see such a cool waiter. I also feel very strange and eye-opening today. Another short-haired waiter in the store was very nice. When he brought the fried rice to me again, he joked with us with a smile, Oh, if its salty, theres nothing you can do about it, but if its bland, you can add seasonings.
The foods were delicious but the portion kind of small compare with others.
The food is good and the staff is very polite
Incredible food
Our new favourite Chinese restaurant! The service was amazing, food came out fast and piping hot. We sat down 8pm and left at 9pm with a full stomach lol servings huge!
Friendly staff, good food and quick service.
Sunday lunch. . Signature Sweet and Sour Pork Rice High level. The sweet and sour juice is well balanced, the sweetness and sourness are just right, the color is beautiful, and the thickness is moderate. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is indeed a signature dish. If you want to be picky about the eggs, I can only suggest cutting the meat into larger pieces to enhance the texture and flavor of the meat. Signature beef brisket noodle soup There is a standard. The beef brisket is flavorful enough, with peeling peel adding to the flavor, and soft enough but not loose. If you can add a piece of white radish, it would be perfect. Dry Fried Beef River Average level. The beef is delicious and soft. There is gas in the wok, but not enough green onions and a little more dark soy sauce should be added. Color is also important. 2 cups of hot milk tea I didnt drink it, but I could tell from the color that it was thick, so it should be good, but I havent tasted it, so its hard to comment. The service is polite and the place is clean. Overall its pretty good, I like it. Its good to be able to maintain the standard Lianggua beef rice, very good Very good, but the standard has dropped a bit Smooth egg beef rice, delicious kind
Not bad, average good chinese food.
I ordered 3 dish-special for with a soup for $44. Delicious, and big enough, definitely will come often!
The presentation is average but it s really delicious! ! !
Amazing food !!! Best I ve had in a while
Food was really good... Hot, fresh and tasty
Great food. Good service. Excellent value!
Very bad experience, poor service attitude. The waiter will speak ill of you in Cantonese to colleagues in front of you. I understood and went to argue with her manager, who is also a den of snakes and rats. Let s not talk about the food. Just look at the pictures, it s burnt, and the manager said that s just how it is. I was speechless I vowed never to go there again, I was very angry! A place to spend money and suffer. Im so angry! Very bad experience, poor service attitude. The waiter was said bad things about us in Cantonese to her colleagues in front of you. I told her manager. The manager is also bad attitude too! Lets talk about the food, just look at the picture below, its all burnt, and the manager said thats how it is. Big speechless vowed never to go again, very angry! A place to spend money and suffer. Eat full of anger!
Great service attitude! Not long after we arrived and sat down in the store, the waiter asked us our order in Cantonese. When he heard that we couldnt speak Cantonese, he immediately became embarrassed and kept urging us to hurry up. Later, because we were not full, we were going to add an extra dish. When ordering, the waiter was chatting with others in Cantonese while ordering. As a result, the extra dishes we ordered for dine-in food were put directly in the take-out box and let us go, saying that they were ours. I didnt explain the problem clearly to her It was just a waste of money and I will never go there again.
The duck is out of the WORLD.
Such a bad attitude from the waitress tonight. We arrived at 5:24pm, ordered the food and 6 30 pm the waitress brought us the bill without asking and we paid without questioning. 6:37pm,the waitress told us directly to go to Tim Horton to chat. I was shocked if you need the table, let me know and asked nicely. There is nowhere in the restaurant says 1 hour limited. The worst service I ever had in this country.
This is my family s go to restaurant. We have tried almost every single one of their lunch dishes and enjoyed all of them. Highly recommend.
Shredded chicken, Jinsha series is amazing! Like
Beans were good but the ribs were not cooked well (a bit raw inside).
Reasonably priced chinese restaurant with Cantonese style food. There is a special menu you can order three plates for $31.99. Rice is $1.75 / bowl. They have a second menu with different variety of rice and noodle dishes. Plenty of free parking at the Golden Square Plaza.
Yummy food! Will be back!
Everything I ordered was delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again.
Food was great but service was very poor there were several things wrong with the meal and when we brought them up they didn t handle it properly and put the problem back on us - we didn t feel like we were customers. Service used to be a lot better, they need to work on it a lot.
The owner s attitude is not friendly, rude, and very poor mannered. We found a fruit fly in the vinegar bottle and when we told her about it, she told us all the vinegar bottles have it, there s nothing to be done, and if we put it in our food, it s on us & she won t give us a new dish. Also, we were given few quantity for our food and when we told her about it, she accused us of eating it and that s why it s little. We were frequent customers and won t be coming here again. Finding a new restaurant to spend my time and money.
Lively Chinese restaurant with friendly and fast service, great tasty food and perfect Chinese restaurant atmosphere. First time trying and will come back again for sure. We ordered the deep fried Taiwanese popcorn chicken, the children loved it. Green bean with minced pork, it was okay. The meat was kinda salty. Green beans were deep fried to perfection. Grouper fish with beancurd on rice was a top notch. The beancurd soft and chewy, the way I like it. Beef tenderloin, yes it was so tender, with black pepper sauce was also good. The black pepper sauce was not overwhelming and the beef is not to big. They also provided us with knife in case we need to cut it into smaller bite size.
Great selections , food is tasty, fast service, casual dining
Their curry brisket and beef with bok Choy noodle dishes were good. These are lunch hour dishes that come with hk milk tea. The sweet and sour pork is a do not order. There is no meat and ends up being just fried batter.
Have been going there on a weekly basis for the past couple years, always great food at great value.
Foods are amazing, well seasoned, and arrive at perfect temperature. Recommend trying their beef curry , it have great kick, and so flavorful.
Always delicious food and fast service. I havent tasted a dish that I dont liked and we come here once every few months.
Great food and you get huge discount if you order the combo but you need cash for that menu. The rest you can pay by card or debit but you will miss out on the discounted rates.
The service attitude was particularly bad. Because the service was poor, I only gave a 5% tip. As a result, a waiter came directly and said that I was uneducated. He didnt even bother to ask for my tip and told me not to give it. Please don t eat it, otherwise you will be insulted!
Typical cantonese dishes. Worth to try.
Stir-fried wok gas, delicious
The food is good no doubt. But the service is absolutely terrible. You will wait and wait for your order only to realise that the server forgot to punch in your order. And only then would they start to cook. Communication is almost nil at this restaurant. If you don t speak their language, prepare to be not treated equally.
The wrong dish was served and the customer was asked to pay for it. Very bad experience and will never go there again. Additionally, I ordered many best sellers, but no one can express me.
Great food, super fast service.
Really good food, probably the best I had in Mississauaga. Portion is big tho, we ordered 3 dishes for 2 people, couldn t finish all. Will visit back!
Very tasty noodles.....reasonable price too....but might have to wait for seat during weekend. No reservations can be made as well
Tasty food at reasonable prices. Will definitely go back.
Very good Cantonese chinese food ... very friendly staff. Our family go to spot for Chinese food
Great selection on chinese dishes and prices
I bought more than 200 yuan of takeaway from their store a few days ago. I picked it up myself. When I got home, I saw that the portion was much smaller than what I had eaten in their store! ! ! ! ! The boss is dishonest! ! ! !
I gave only one star due to the food sanitation. This is the first time I saw the cockroach in a restaurant. How can I miss it when packing the food? In addition, you have to pay 0.3 for each container if you want to pack your food. Will never come back.
Had the Peaking Duck, Ho Fun noodles, S&S pork and salt and pepper squid all of which were delicious. Their Peaking Duck is really really good, served with the wraps for the skin side and then lettuce leaf for the stir fried portion. Will definitely go back!
Food is good and staff are friendly.
I went to Trithis chinese restaurant last week with my family and we had a great time. The restaurant is spacious and cozy, with a nice decor and friendly staff. We ordered young chow fried rice and radish cake in curry sauce, along with some dim sum and soup. The food was delicious and fresh, with generous portions and authentic flavors. The young chow fried rice was fluffy and had a variety of ingredients, such as shrimp, chicken, eggs, and vegetables. The radish cake in curry sauce was soft and crispy, with a rich and spicy sauce that complemented the radish cake well. The dim sum and soup were also tasty and satisfying, especially the shrimp dumplings and the wonton soup. The service was fast and attentive, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful experience at Trithis chinese restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves chinese food and wants to try something different.
Delicious! The pork belly chicken has a strong peppery flavor, the chicken has a chicken flavor and is very smooth, the soup does not have a lot of MSG, the pork belly is very soft, the yuba is just the right amount of softness, and the wolfberry is sweet. The cabbage sum is not oily. The carrot cake has a hot pot flavor, fried with onions, shallots, xo sauce, and eggs. It s so fragrant!
Great food. Great service
Went with friends who chose it based on good reviews. Restaurant dark and run down. Saw kitchen and got scared due to uncleanliness. Food tastes fairly good but too much salt and likely MSG
Food was amazing and the staff was super nice. Highly recommend getting their legendary honey ribs! Portions are generous and great for sharing.
+1 star for pandemic Service: as expected from typical mom&pop Chinese store (slightly rude/sloppy, but authentic) Food: quality is above its price point When the sweet & sour pork is tender inside, its pretty good. But when its also crispy on the outside, you hit a gem. This place is a gem. The quality was great even on a full house Father days night. I had lunch there a few times, its lunch menu is nice. Very good beef brisket, on curry and wonton noodle. Their dishes are well done. Their fried noodle, whether its Canton chow mein or other kinds, I remember praising it everytime, on how the crispy-to-sauce ratio has always been on spot. These small details illustrate the extra miles the kitchen and owners have been going. Cons: took 5 requests to get our water on busy fathers day. Main waitress complained to herself outloud in front of us about how messy we made the floor damn kids... Its an authentication experience though from the culture
Food is so yummy and excellent quality. Service is great. Parents are very picky when it comes to Chinese food but they think this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Mississauga.
The taste is average and the quantity has been reduced.
All the food in this restaurant is delicious, my favourite place for dinner or take out. Price is reasonable, service is good. They are busy all the time so remember to call ahead to book a table if you want to dine in. Even their dessert is so good.
Love!!! The curry beef and potato so good Mmmmm
I had been here once. The food was good. But when I came today, one of the waitresses asked me to have quickly and left so that they could treat others. I understand they are busy during dinner time but I felt uncomfortable when I had dinner and they tried to kick people out.
Honey Olive Spareribs 10/10, Great service, Clean environment
Wouldn t recommend. Very small portion for each dish, price is expensive.
First time try. Waiting for 55 minutes for just two dishes, the veggie in the picture (really small size) is $19.99 tax not included. Overpriced and messy service.
One of the top 3 Chinese restaurants in Mississauga - if you compare between others in Mississauga only. Great combo deals delicious beef brisket, stir fry and basil eggplant. Delicious dessert drinks as well. There s a reason why it s always busy during lunch and dinner times!
We ordered Peking duck, it was very small in portion. And we have had Peking ducks in other restaurants in Canada and in China. The portion was very minimum followed by one course. The duck was not even cut in front us! For just the duck and 10 pancakes we paid 64.99. The dish with leftover was 8.99. Very expensive. Service was sub-par.
We love this place! The food is fresh and tasty everytime!
3 mixed pick combo for $38.00 Parking: Free
Food food , great portion, fair price.
Fast, and they do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions, which I really appreciate.
Yes very good food. This place used to be Golden Moon. Menu looks the same.
Good Chinese food and service. Always a great time here.
Went to Trithis Restaurant that serves Chinese dishes. There are so many choices but we ordered their lunch special. I ordered sweet and sour pork on rice which is one of my favourites. The pork was crispy and tender and so delicious with the sauce. My sister ordered bitter melon with chicken on rice and my brother in law ordered the beef brisket noodle in soup which was a sizeable portion. The price was very reasonable and affordable. The food tasted good. We will surely go back to this place to try other items in the menu, there is so much variety to choose from.
Second time here, horrible service, waited 20 mins for our desert and told us they didn t have time to make it. Food is good and cheap. - First time ordered takeout Pretty good but a bit overpriced for the lobster dish
Great delicious food . My most favoured are the deep fried pork ribs and sweet&sour pork. Great services even though theyve very busy.
Very bad waiter services , should have all waiters fired
Customer service needs a lot of work. Would not recommend.
The food and service was surprisingly great. Many Cantonese restaurants these days are only adaptations of its former glory but Trithis Restaurant truly reminds me of the authentic tastes of Hong Kong culinary mastery! Ive been there twice in a week and looking forward to my next visit!
Really delicious with good price. The amount is super sufficient for two people.
This is a great place for Chinese/Cantonese dishes. We have tried many of their menu items and they are all beyond expectation.
Tastes good and reasonably priced. The food supply is fresh and the environment is OK. The service is diligent.
FINALLY! An authentic tasting Chinese restaurant. With all of the original restaurant owners retiring out of the business, it s been hard finding consistent, authentic, good value Chinese cuisine. We ordered the 3 dishes for $37 cash combo - rare to see a good deal like this these days! Fried rice, clams, and turnip with brisket. I was pleasantly surprised!! Loved the turnip and brisket dish. The clams and rice were good and typical Chinese fare so don t expect fancy. For the cost, portion and quality, it s truly a hidden gem. Staff were also very attentive and nice. This will now be my go-to Chinese spot in the west end!
My go-to canto restaurant in Mississauga. The dishes never disappoint.
My friend and I tried a set menu. Shrimp, eggplant and mushroom dish as well as curry pork. Food was good.
Did you agree to order takeout for 20 minutes? Has the boss gone fishing? It takes more than 1 hour to pick up a meal. Support those who have experienced the same situation
Great value for quality of food! We arrived around 6pm and place quickly filled up. We ordered their choose-3-dishes + free soup for $37.99, the portion size is smaller than standard but more than enough for 2-3 people with regular appetite, we were 2 and had leftover for lunch the next day.The waitress didnt just give the takeout box and left but actually packed the food for us, thats something I havent seen in a looong time. The dishes were flavourful without being too salty and service was prompt and friendly. A lot of combo options for different party size are available too. There are several other cantonese style restaurants in the same plaza that offer similar combo and dishes but they are pricier or they are heavy handed with the salt. This place will be my go-to from now on.
The Chinese food was okay, the chicken was a bit frozen. The staff was very polite.
It tastes good and is economical. It gets busier on weekends and you have to wait for half an hour.
Nice surprise in Mississauga! Lunch was tasty and portions were great. Definitely will go back.
Came here for lunch, generous portion sizes and the food is delicious! Also came with a free drink (milk tea or lemon tea) and they serve tea. Will definitely be back
I came here with my Cantonese / Hong Kong friend and she said that this is food that she would eat in Hong Kong when she wa younger and that it is apart of Hong Kong cuisine (although it is good made mostly in China). This food was so delicious and tasty despite the and being composed of pork, they don t taste like pork at all because of the rich seasonings and freshness. The was also very flavourful and I could taste a depth in the taste of the tea! was not too oily but still crispy and tasty! I would come here again. The atmosphere was comforting and the customer service was okay. It was honestly just a bit too pricy cuz they charged you for extra just to get a drink cold rather than hot ?
