Very quick service!

I had the Chicken Gyro, Its good but its not mindblowing, sorry i forgot a picture. I also wanted to grab a medium-size tsatziki to go and i felt some grief from the front counter about wanting it in a single container like it was displayed in the window... I decided anyway to also grab a small ( thumb size ) eclair and my total came out to roughly 22$. I was confused how a side tsaziki and tiny eclair cost 9 or so dollars ( on top of my 10$ gyro). Well at least the house made tsaziki ( am i spelling that right?) is absolutely amazing. I think the store needs an update aesthetically. Its a bit old and drab inside, its got tables but only like two of them.. just seems kind of outdated to me.

I liked the food and the ambience

The only Greek restaurant my family and I go to. Soft calamari, amazing lamb chops, flavourful solvaki, delicious Greek poutine and the portion size is amazing. Their consistency has made us life long customers. My family *3 people* had my dads 90th birthday dinner at the restaurant, just a cozy dinner. He always craves the Greek Salad and the amazing calamari dinner meal. Soft enough for him to chew but so tender and flavourful. The staff have been nothing but wonderful and kind. They even gave him a tiramisu as a birthday cake - he said he was full but he ate about 1/4 by himself before we could try. Recommend for everyone all the time!

The service was good the food was horrible I had a chicken on a pita and it felt like it s been on the hot table for hours the tzatziki wasn t even creamy hardly visible. Tables weren t clean and staff going on break had food on customer table. If the owner is Greek shame on you if not learn to cook Greek food especially with the money that we re paying for food nowadays.

First time here with my wife - food is absolutely excellent! Tried chicken/lamb/pork/beef skewers. Highly recommend the mix plate. Will definitely come back.

Some of the best Greek food I ve ever had, and the staff there are such angles. Such. Good atmosphere and you can tell they really care about their customers a lot. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

I came here with a handful of friends, and we had a great experience! The guy who took our order was really friendly and made us feel welcome. The chicken souvlaki was delicious juicy and full of flavor. Overall, a fantastic spot for a casual meal, and we ll definitely be back.

After a nice walk through Culham trail, we ate at a local Greek restaurant and tried their souvlaki beef plate it was fantastic! The beef was tender and flavorful, perfectly grilled with just the right amount of seasoning. The sides were fresh and complemented the dish well. While the interior was quite simple and nothing flashy, the food did not disappoint. Would definitely return for the great flavors

YUM! I got the beef gyro pita and it was juicy and tasteful. The sauce is everything. Simple ingredients executed in a traditional way. Would come here every week if there were a gluten free pita option :)

As someone who appreciates authentic Greek cuisine, I had high hopes for Stavro s Greek Restaurant, but unfortunately, it missed the mark on multiple fronts. Starting with the pork souvlaki dinner, the meat was tough, dry, and cut into small chunks each bite left me regretting that I trusted Stavro s with my meal. Real souvlaki should be tender, juicy, and flavorful, but this dish fell far short. The sides didn t fare much better. I chose fries and grilled vegetables. The fries were the batter-coated type you d find at Costco, and they were clearly over-fried oily and gooey, as if they d been cooked twice. The vegetables, while fresh, were bland and completely lacked seasoning, so I ended up adding a dash of soy sauce just to give them some taste. It was a good thing we were eating at home because the takeout bag had no napkins or cutlery, which was disappointing. The Greek salad that came with the meal was another letdown. It was almost entirely lettuce, with just two olives and two cherry tomatoes, topped with grated Canadian feta not the creamy, flavorful Greek feta I was expecting. While I did finish the salad, it was far from what an authentic Greek salad should be. I ended up throwing out the fries, half the pork, and picked at the chicken souvlaki from the other dinner we ordered. The chicken was fresher but still dry and overcooked, which is, sadly, all too common with chicken. The Greek potatoes were probably the highlight of the meal, but the rice was uninspired and lacked the distinct flavor of real Greek-style rice. Overall, I love true Greek food, but this experience was a 4/10. With Streetsville offering so many great options these days, Stavro s is not a place I ll be visiting again.

First time ordering from here, for pickup, unfortunately meats are dry and tough, lamb was grisly and dry, pork was dry also, being in the meat business 40 plus years , you need to marinate your meats to tenderize. Might give it a second chance but for close to $80 bucks , don t think so.

We had the chicken pita and falafel pita combo. We found both sandwiches to be okay but they could have had the option to add more toppings and sauces. The combo did not have many fries. Found the overall value and flavour to be just okay but likely would not return.

Ordered 2 gyro wraps for takeout. Asked for hot suave on the side and they were goi g to charge me $1.99. I asked her bluntly. If i were to ask for this in the wrap its free? She goes yes. But on the side its 1.99, for hot sauce? She goes yes. Ridiculous!

Such great Greek food and hospitality! This place was an unexpected gem and we landed here after having a very rude experience in a local overpriced pizza place nearby. The lady/owner was so nice and treated us like she knew us for years! We had the chicken souvlaki pita/gyros, the chicken souvlaki platter and calamari. Wow! The seasoning and flavors were on point! Loved it all! Definitely will return again.

Food was subpar. Lacking flavour overall. Not enough salt or spices. No lemon flavour (and no flavour at all) on potatoes, just felt like boiled potatoes without salt. Chicken was good quantity wise but missing flavour. Pita just tastes like a packaged one cut up lol. Only things that were good/decent were the Greek salad, sautéed veggies and tzatziki. Unfortunate experience, was really looking forward to a good meal.

They have given me dry old gyros after making me wait extra because they prioritize the catering first multiple times. They have given me the wrong order more then once through skip the dishes which I usually only order when im sick. I will never eat here or recommend this place again.

I ordered a beef gyro and the meat was stale and dry. Bland overall. And the cheesecake I ordered had green mould. I wanted to like this place but sad about the visit overall. The staff seemed nice enough, on the bright side.

I m a sucker for great Greek food. Especially gyros. I was sceptical to try this place just because I felt it might be similar to other Greek franchise named after a Sir from a Mediterranean country. I thought to myself how bad could it be. So I ordered beef and lamb gyro with added hot sauce. Kitchen looked busy with lots of pickup orders so I was impressed. I received my gyro decided to sit outside and enjoy my gyro. I loved it, it was not like generic gyros it tasted very good the hot sauce was not like Frank s red hot (sorry Jacob Frank). It seems like it was home made sauce. I was satisfied. The only thing that I did not like that some of my gyro meats had dry edges, some was dry and overcooked. So I thought it was good not great. Today July 4th (after a week) I was craving the gyro once again, I ordered my gyro with hot sauce and I was warned that the sauce was very hot. This time I enjoyed the gyro more it was well made and delicious. No dry edges and soft. I don t know what their souvlaki or other menu items tastes like but I m sure they are great, my new mission is to try most of the dishes here.

First time trying authentic Greek cuisine. The lady serving and making the food is very friendly and helpful. The chicken is cooked fresh with a crisp charred finish, and the potatoes and sautéed vegetables were cooked to perfection.

This will be our new go-to for Greek food. We ordered the mixed grill plate and the beef/lamb gyro plate. Everything was well cooked and very good. The lemon potatoes in both dishes were especially tasty. Staff were super friendly too.

First time visiting this location, nice little patio on the outside very few tables on the inside, needs a little bit of updating. Food was absolutely amazing, large portions and very delicious. Staff is friendly and courteous would definitely come back here and this time sit outside and enjoy the views of Streetsville.

Very nice Greek restaurant with a wide variety of greek food on their menu. They have good sized portions, and are flexible with side customizations for their dinner plates. Their tzatziki sauce is absolutely delicious, however their Greek salad is very lacklustre, just mostly lettuce. But, overall, highly recommend.

Unfortunately this place has gone down. it used to be 5 star when it first opened...but sadly change of management has run this place down. Food is no longer of good quality or even tasty. highly disappointed. Prices are a bit steep as well. Not as good as it used to be. I wont be back

Went to stavros because was feeling to hav some greek food, and im so glad i found this hidden gem! Their food was amazing everything tasted so great. The portions were big me n my friend both were really filled after. We had to also go for some dessert, they had a cute lil selection of fresh desserts and the eclair was so yummy! Id 10/10 recommend

To come across authentic Greek food anywhere NEAR Brampton?? Omg I m so happy. I was about to drive to the Danforth in Toronto and go to the Greek bakery there but instead I found this place. The souvlaki is on point. Everything is fresh even the baklava! Last time I had a Greek souvlaki by some Greek place in Brampton . Instead of real Greek they put some kind of weird Indian hot sauce on my chicken souvlaki pita instead of tzatziki and the chicken was really bad quality dry and tiny. So if you want proper Greek food, which is probably made by an actual greek person, (or at least trained by Greek person) STAVROS is the place to go. All the other fast food Greek chains of clearly been bought out by non-Greek people, and the flavors are just not the same. So thank you for this you ve saved me a trip to Toronto on a Sunday.

Im sure theres other great options but stay away from the Beef / Lamb. Processed, cheap and unseasoned. It was 14 Dollars for what looked like Spam on Rice drenched in sauce. This is not the Greek way.

Not the best chicken souvlaki unfortunately. Lots of meat which was good but there was little else in it like vegetables. The pita tasted like it was whole wheat to me too.

Stavros is a great place for authentic Greek dishes. Their chicken souvlaki plate is really good. Food is delicious, I regularly get food from here and havent been disappointed yet.

The best Greek food ever! When we came in we thought this is a fast food place. We were about to leave but decided to stay. Service was friendly, quick and the place smelled fantastic. Never judge a place by the eat in section! I will be back.

We had chosen Stavros Greek Restaurant for our monthly dinner. I like moderate spicy food, whereas the Stavros food is good for those who love to eat light spicy food. Those who love to eat at Shawarma Flavors, Lazeez Shawarma, Osmows or Villa Madina type wraps/shawarma then they will get a totally different taste here. One should try this place as well. Parking: Paid parking is available parking lot just behind the restaurant. 2-3 street parkings are available in front of the restaurant as well.

Disappointing unfortunately. This is not the place to get authentic Greek food. Rice was basmatti, lemon potatos were meh, chicken was tender but way too salty, salad was limp, flavourless and had lots of brown lettuce. I had to throw it away. It was just awful.

This was such a great place to be! I dont like Greek food but Stavros converted me. Their slogan is heaven on a fork, and that slogan definitely has 100% merited.

Came here a few weeks back and there was a nice beautiful patio. This place is crazy expensive compared to other places and the food isnt even that good. It didnt pop out but it wasnt like trash. The thing that makes it a 2 star experience for me was the service. I stood there, waiting 7 minutes for them to take my order and all they told me was sorry, just give me a minute. They werent even that busy. Even more, it took another 15 minutes to get my food out. I tried contacting them online but they never respond as well. Disappointed.

Stavros Streetsville always never disappoints. Been there a couple of times and the amazing experience is still the same. Aside from good food all with huge serving, the service is superb; shoutout to ASH!

I tried this place while walking by randomly as they had Halal options and tried the Chicken Gyro Wrap. It was authentic greek taste, economical and all ingredients felt fresh! Will recommend everyone to try it and will be back to try more things on the menu!

The oldw lady at the register is the best scammer available. Overcharged by 40% then when i asked for a reciept to go over the charges she claimed that there is no reciept available. Funny thing is i woulda tipped 50% but now i will never come back.

Great food

I ordered for delivery and none of the pitas had tzatziki and when I called, instead of delivering it, they simply told me to contact Uber Eats customer service for a refund. Its not about money, is about eating.

I really wanted a Greek Salad but how foolish of me to think that a Greek Restaurant would have a great Greek Salad. Hmmmmm! Boy was I disappointed. First you never put Lettuce in a foil take out container. That just helps to turn your Lettuce yellow faster. $10 for a regular size Salad. Have you completely lost your minds?? And it was cheap Iceberg Lettuce. I would understand if it was Romaine where for some strange reason people are paying $12 for a head. The Salad taste like it was soaking in water for about 5 days. I got a whopping 3 cherry tomatoes, some soggy cucumber slices and about 5 Kalama olives. What a shame. Oh so disappointed in this awful pretend Greek Salad. If I could give a Zero Star I would have. Dont waste your money like I did on this overpriced rabbit food.

Honestly the best place imaginable

The rather sad portion of calamari was hardly fried and more pale and saugy, meat was tough(even some of the chicken!), order was incorrect and the house made hot sauce was nothing more than Chipotle mayo. Underwhelming is putting it kindly.

We only had two appetizers, the tzatziki and Greek poutine. OMG, we will be back. The tzatziki is very flavorful and fresh, while the pita served with it is excellent. The pita is perfect, not too dense nor too light, and has a perfect texture, very rich taste. The Greek poutine was the star for me. The fries are similar to waffle-cut fries, yet very light with a crisp crust. The gravy is a light Greek dressing, the cheese is feta. Absolutely delicious! Both portions were easily enough for two people each. As I said at the beginning, we will absolutely be back. One of their signs says Heaven on the fork. I can assure you, no lies detected! Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options are available

Awesome, authentic Greek food! Service was great, food came out fast, and we dined in for the complete experience. We ordered Saganaki, Dolmadakia, a Fish Plate and the Stavros Lamb Gyro on rice. Everything tasted so damn good, and our kids really enjoyed the food too. For atmosphere, the seating and tables were great, but there was a TV with nothing displayed, a random single chair at some other table, and overall a diner vibe that could be very nice with a few changes. 100% coming back here for the things that count the most: food & service Parking: Could be quite busy, depending on the time of day, but street parking is available l. Kid-friendliness: Easy to see pictures of their plates, and great seating. Patio is also available.

I ate here twice and never again. And please don t call that souvlaki, it offensive to every Greek person.

I had a great experience at Stavro s on 12/11/23. The staff was amazing and caring when I was ordering, and they made the food really well.

Ordered my food about 1 hour ahead of time & it was not ready when I got there although I received a notification to pick up. I was told they would give me someone else s order instead so I would not have to wait. The food was not the best. Honestly disappointing.

Food is fresh made to order, service is great, they treat you like family. We will be back!

RIP OFF. We paid $17 for calamari. We ordered for pick up and when we got home we opened the box to 10 small pieces of calamari that were soggy and under-fried.
