I order today chilly chicken and garlic chicken, i am very disappointed the dishes served today the taste was horrible. I used to come here occasionally but not anymore. The garlic chicken there is no flavor at all. I wont recommend anybody to this place.

We were a fan of this place have been going for years now. This is by far the best hakka restaurant in GTA. Awesome food, amazing friendly staff, great portions and awesome taste. Edited: This was my favorite go to, however tried their Cantonese noodles today and it was sweet as hell...we requested the server to change it as per our preference and they denied it. I dont think we will be going back anymore to this place all the way from Brampton. They lost a loyal customer.

The food at this Halal Chinese restaurant is undeniably good especially the chili chicken. However, it s incredibly frustrating that they don t accept credit cards in this day and age. For a restaurant with such great food, refusing to offer basic payment options is unprofessional and inconvenient. It s a huge drawback that takes away from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Yesterday evening, we visited to the place, it was a great experience. We ordered chicken Manchurian along with chicken chowmein, It was delicious. The soup was also very healthy and tasty. Must visit.

Decent hakka food. Not particularly spicy, overly oily (but I think that comes with the territory for hakka food) but very tasty!

Every restaurant these days provide disposable glasses. Specially after covid many people prefer to drink water in disposable cups. I was refused by lady on counter who looked like Indian by appearance. I really felt bad since last time I visited I was given disposable glass. I am asking restaurant owner to look into this matter if it was restaurant policy or just an individual act.

This is my favorite Hakka place. The food is absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are very generous. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant but could be decorated better. Its more of a semi casual vibe. The service is good, accommodating, and friendly.

Our go-to Hakka restaurant in Mississauga. Always order the Chili Chicken (both dry and gravy), Shrimp Pakora, and my favorite Chicken and Shrimp Hakka Chow Mein. The protein main comes with rice. Good price and portion overall.

The best chili beef dry!!! Went again, and the food was still good. This time, I tried crispy beef, which was really good and different. The manchurian version seemed like added food color or too much red sauce. Didnt like it as much. Overall, it was great customer service and a very clean restaurant.

The chilli chicken was good, the crispy beef was mediocre the beef wasnt crispy the seasonings they used wasnt gokd, and we got a shrimp dish I cannot remember the name right now it wasnt too bad but it was a deep fried dish that was soggy it was crispy, and Manchurian rice was okay. It was disappointing for a place thats supposed to be one of the better hakka spots in Mississauga.

RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. To save 2.5% they inconvenience their customers and dont accept Credit. They also did not want to give me my receipt, and when I insisted, they did not put the right amount of cash I gave them ($40) on my receipt, along with my change. Sketchy business. GARBAGE SERVICE = GARBAGE RESTAURANT, SO STAY AWAY!!!

Got take out for ginger chicken, fish pakora, chicken chow mein and chicken fried rice. Ginger chicken was average; pakoda taste was alright but there was less fish and more batter hence rubbery; 1 star for chow mein taste; fried rice had barely any chicken and we could taste and smell the burnt rice. Very less quantity as one-fourth box was empty for fried rice and chowmein. I would not eat from here again.

The owner is discriminatory against people who walk in with service animals. They refused to provide me service even though I showed the owner the government mandated requirements.i am visiting from the states and I checked the Ontario laws about service animals specifically dogs. Service Canada states that you cannot deny someone with a disability service especially if they have the proof of their disability. The owner of this restaurant refused to read the medical documentation I provided to him stating I need to have a tag officiated by a Canadian federal organization. When I asked him what happens to out of towners with service animals? He had no response for me. He completely dehumanized me and said i was not welcome. All the while ignoring my medical documentation and refusing to read it. I also asked him to speak to my doctor and he said no. He has something against disability or probably my dog. But this is not only immoral it is also illegal. It makes me sad for a country that embraces diversity and inclusivity that I am still being discriminated in 2024. There is a 100k fine for anyone refusing service to a person with a disability and not to mention media publications that would be very interested in this story. Its sad we were loyal customers of this place and the food was decent but they dont know how to accommodate people with disabilities. This person humiliated, dehumanized, and discriminated me... he also said I did not know the law and that he has the right to deny me service even when I had proof. Shame on him, he almost made me cry because everyone was staring at me and my family as if we were faking it. Its hard enough having issues and needing a service animal let alone when you are kicked out of a place and made to feel absolutely worthless by someone who clearly does not respect their community members and vulnerable populations. I told him to learn the law as I walked out. Not worth my time but if you have a service animal save yourself the trauma and humiliation in arguing with someone who clearly doesnt want an animal in their business. I hope this person gets the necessary training and someone reads this review and takes action to put an end to this discriminatory and illegal practice

Dont judge by the appearance from outside. Its a busy restaurant. First time when we went there, we waited more than an hour to get a table! But the wait was worth it. The food is great, price is reasonable and the staff is really friendly. They dont take reservations over phone so if its houseful, you need to register your name at the counter with your contact and theyll call you when they have a table ready for you. Halal certified.

One of the best chili chicken and garlic fries. More curry based than crispy based.

Ordered takeout and when we opened the containers, they were half empty. We called the restaurant and refuse to acknowledge any error, they said it was normal. We order from this restaurant every month, not any more. Their attitude was cheap and not in line with customer friendly service.

I have to say it is disappointing. It is one of the worst food I have ever tried in GTA. Ginger chicken with gravy and curry beef taste awful. I am wondering how could they have quite high ratings on Google.

A very good Hakka spot with very reasonable prices. The only reason why it is getting a 4 star is because it is very similar to many Hakka places I have been to in the GTA and does not offer anything new to seperate itself from the rest.

Yummy foodies, specially soup and fried rice. Amazing service, I had a little problem in my pick up order and they took care of it very nicely. I highly recommend this place for dine in or take out. Will be going there soon.

Been going to chilli chicken house for over 10 years, food has always been amazing. However the last 3-4 times I ve gotten food from here has been a completely different experience. Quality has gone down a lot. Tastes like they re reheating old chicken and serving to customers. It s a shame a local spot with such a good reputation has fallen off. Would not recommend

Best Eat in Chinese Hakka Restaurant.

This restaurant I think is one of the longest standing restaurants in this plaza. We have been coming here for years . Fantastic food. We always call ahead of time. Food ready on 20 - 30 min We get the Manchurian chicken with gravy and also dry. Also get the pakora chicken with extra lime.

Chilli chicken is very good. Service is excellent. Cash and debit only. Gets very crowded at dinner time and during weekends. Definitely recommend.

I have been a loyal customer for more than 7 years but last night I was extremely disappointed with the food. The rice and noodles looked and tasted stale. The sweet and sour chicken lacked flavour and their specialty chilli chicken was not at all how it used to be, it just tasted like soya sauce. I was extremely disappointed with the quantity as well. I don t know if the management changed but after last night s experience I don t think I will be ordering food from them again. Very disappointed.

My family and I only ever get Hakka food from here. Their service is efficient and their staff is friendly. If you spend over $35 and pay in cash, you get a discount of 10% I believe. I like their Manchurian fried rice and the chicken pakora. Another favourite is their crispy beef. Although it can be dry, the flavour is never lacking.

Aweful customer service, refused dine in by the waitresses on May19th arrived at 9:05 pm with closing time at 9:30pm. Staff seemed to be enjoying, refusing to let customers dine in and recommending to take out instead. Travelled from Maple with kids just to be refused entry and laughed at while waiting to be seated never experienced this at a restaurent before.Wanted to alert others as there timings are in-accurate and a note to owners to kindly correct timings.

It s my favourite place ever even though it s a little different now than before but it s still amazing! My favs are Bombay chicken, Szechuan noodles and sweet and sour chicken!

Recently dined at Chilli Chicken House in Mississauga and had a mixed experience. The Tom Yum soup was great, bursting with flavor, and the Hakka Chowmein and Manchurian Chicken were delicious highlights. However, the Chicken Pakora wasnt as impressive. The ambiance could have been better, but the staff were incredibly friendly and prompt, enhancing the overall dining experience. Looking forward to seeing improvements next time!

Chilli Chicken House in Mississauga fell far below the lofty expectations set by MarcelloEats and their claim of being the top Chinese place in GTA. The chopsuey was not just bad, but downright offensive with its off-putting smell and unappetizing taste. The chilli chicken lacked any discernible flavor, leaving me wondering what all the hype was about. The manchurian gobhi was equally disappointing, lacking any redeeming qualities in taste. Even the hot and sour soup and chilli fries failed to salvage the experience, falling squarely into the realm of mediocrity. Save your time and money this place is a total waste.

We were not happy with the service we got. The food was okay but not up to our expectations. Price was high compare to the food quality. Specially the chicken pakora tasted like nothing.

Was really excited and eager to give this place a try after reading all the positive reviews online. Had gone last evening for dinner and ordered a Chilli Chicken with gravy along with a Manchurian Chowman (Chicken and Shrimp), both of which were not good at all in my opinion. The Chilli Chicken Gravy was watery, bland, lacked flavour and had a bitter taste to it, with the portion size also being smaller then what I was expecting. The Chowman was the same, it lacked flavour, was bland and also had a bitter taste to it along with that there was hardly any chicken or shrimp in it. Overall I am highly dissatisfied with my experience here and regret coming here. Waste of my money.

Very good food. Avoid the gobbi Manchurian its very salty.

Ask plenty of questions to make sure youre actually getting what youre hoping to get. The machurian rice and noodles are dark red in color and thats coz they add coloring to the dish. Compared to that, the schezwan rice and noodles are without coloring and just flavoured with schezwan pepper flakes. Apart from that, the manchurian pakora is awesome! So close to the indo-chinese in India - veggie balls with brown manchurian gravy (no coloring). My two favourite and repeat dishes here - veggie chowmein and manchurian pakora (with gravy).

Went there yesterday for the first time as this place was on my list to try for a while now and I can assure you it was definitely worth it. We were greeted right away and provided seating. The staff were quick to take the order and bring refreshments. Our order also arrived quickly. The food was really good and sufficient for one person as we ordered from the lunch menu. We will definitely go back again.

Food is very tasty and delicious, friendly staff and atmosphere is great I love the fact that you always get white rice with your food order. Menu is reasonably priced and verity of food choices!

I hate their customer service. Just asked them to put noodles in separate box so it doesn t mix with the gravy. Even i was ready to pay for separate box but they didnt agree.

Portion sizes are huge. 10/10 value for your money, probably the best hakka spot in the entire GTA. They have good spicy options, but also plenty of other mild but tasty items on the menu. A few must tries here are definitely the sweet and spicy crispy chicken, spice and pepper wings and manchurian chowmein. Hot and sour soup is also a super nice option if you re dining in, especially in the winters. The atmosphere inside is a little tight but it s cozy, the staff are extremely nice and accommodating. This place is one of the very few places where I see the owner working just as hard as the other staff and makes sure that everyone is happy with their meal. 100% would recommend for anyone who is looking for Hakka in the GTA.

Best chili chicken Ive ever had, properly spicy with green chillies. The noodles and rice are good, not too oily. The paneer Manchurian was okay though, not much flavour or spice.

Came here for dinner with my family. Great food and service. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The food is superb. You have to try the chili chicken. Indo chinese fusion is the best of both worlds.

Authentic chili chicken with the proper amount of gravy. Which is alot . Only pet peeve I had were that the Chilis themselves werent really cut and were whole basically. I can handle spicy...but whole green chilies are a big oof. 10/10 would burn my mouth and stomach again. For 11.20$ lunch special that includes not one but 2 spring rolls? Definitely worth it.

A great option for those of you who love Hakka food. As the name suggests their specialty is Chilli Chicken which is spiced to perfection. The service was superb and for those of you that need halal food, they are halal certified. Highly recommend this place for eats in sauga.

Another gem in the GTA! I saw a lot of reviews about this place, so this had to be tried. We ordered the following in our visit: - Chilli Chicken (Less Gravy but normal gravy would be also good) - Crispy Beef - Prawn Pakora (10 pieces) - Hakka Chowmein - Steam Rice (Comes with the gravy) Everything that we ordered was 10/10 and super fresh! The portion sizes were sufficient for at least 2-3 people per dish. Their spice level was a bit on the higher side for chilli chicken, so if you can t tolerate it, keep a note of that, but it was really tasty. Crispy beef is slightly sweet in taste and crunchy, as the names suggest. This is a must order item on the menu! Prawn pakoras are just pakoras with prawns in them so you can literally have any meat, and they ll taste the same. For those who have had prawn balls from other places, these are different in taste from them, but they re really tasty. We arrived around 6 pm on the weekend, and it was already packed to the top! So if you plan to visit this place for dinner, arrive early to avoid disappointment. Their staff is really nice and helpful. They took the guest s number to call them once they had space available. The food is seasoned and has a great kick to it. This place is perfect for anyone that likes both spicy and seasoned.

Got chilly chicken from them it was really oily and not good in test.

Quantity is so poor that we had to cook something later at night. We ordered 1 rice one noodle and chili fish for two adults and one kid (3 yrs). Its generally way enough When we eat in other restaurants because we dont eat much. But here their boxes are half filled when we received it. I wont suggest to go or takeout from them. When i called their manager they said what we gave was enough.
