great food and great friendly atmosphere i highly recommend everything on the menu my personal favorites are the ravioli in a rosé and the italian burger and the lasagna is so good i always order seconds i tried the italian mac and cheese and it is out of this world amazing

Wonderful experience! Enjoyed penne pesto, chicken parm, veal sandwiches with delicious fries, and house made ravioli. The latter was especially outstanding. If youre looking for an upscale, elegant, Italian meal, this is not the place for you. If youre looking for delicious, old school food in a simple family setting, you definitely need to come. Ive never seen such large servings of pasta in my life! Tony was warm, enthusiastic and incredibly welcoming - he truly makes the experience. Simply WOW.. Chef Tony and his wife are amazing host and the food is so tasty. Get their Bruschetta, Pastas (mind you it s humongous portions) haha and don t forget to put some of their homemade roasted red pepper dip on your food. A place you don t wanna miss. Definitely will be coming back.

Sorannos was a dream discovery as we were from out of town. The food and experience was divine! The homemade pasta was fresh and delicious... and huge! We had the days special of ravioli, chicken Parmigiana and broccoli cheddar soup. Tony and Nadia were friendly and down-to-earth and made us feel at home. We are definitely going back!

Having known Chef Tony for years, and having been so excited to try dining at Sorannos, I was saving it for a date night; it did not disappoint! My date was completely dumbfounded (but not displeased) at the massive portion size of her Spaghetti and Meatballs. Though I made a valiant effort, neither of us could finish our meals. Expect leftovers! In fact, I almost wish Id had the foresight to bring my own tupperware container. I had the homemade gnocchi, which was delightful; we both enjoyed our food thoroughly. The world is a better place for having Chef Tony cooking Italian. The space is a small one, but charming. It was a perfectly intimate setting for dinner for two, but Chef Tony really makes the atmosphere, too. He has a very warm personality, and more than just caring about his customers, he takes sincere pleasure in speaking with them. Sorry to write this review so late after the fact, Tony. Procrastinator, here!

Had the opportunity to dine here for my dad and brothers birthday. Chef Tony and his wife Nadia were very welcoming and it felt like we went to their home and treated us like we were part of their family. We had a group of 9 adults and 2 children. The portions were more than generous. We ordered 4 types of pasta, had a bit of everything, and all of us still had doggie bags by the end of it. Pasta was delicious and so were the apps. But the best of all, were the homemade cannolis! This is a hidden gem in Port Credit. Thanks for having us Chef Tony and Nadia!

This place is an absolute gem in port credit and the owner chef Tony is a great chef but also a very nice person. Me and my girlfriend got greeted warmly by chef Tony. His food is to die for and his portions are huge as you can see by the picture Im posting. I had the penne alla vodka and my girlfriend had a special request that chef Tony was eager to accommodate without esitation even tough it wasnt a dish on his menu. Spaghetti allo scoglio in a Rose sauce was a dish that left my girlfriend still talking about it from our latest trip to the Amalfi coast. Chef Tony made it for her and it was just as good if not better than the one she had in Italy with lots of seafood. Chef Tony also asked us how we heard about the restaurant wich my girlfriend answered right away by letting him know that she saw the posting on instagram about the USA Olympic team that placed an order last weekend and was so blown away by it that she told me we have to go check this place out. Im glad we did and now we totally understand why those Olympic girls decided to order from chef Tony. Chef Tony you just earned 2 more Custumers for life. From our initial phone reservation to his attentive and warm interactions throughout the evening, everybody at our table was thoroughly impressed. The portions were incredibly generous, the homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, and the service was top-notch. The cozy ambience added to the charm, with just a few tables creating an intimate dining experience something rare and refreshing in a city like Mississauga, where many restaurants try to maximize seating at the expense of comfort. In a region abundant with Italian cuisine, Sorannos truly stands out in the crowd. Ill definitely be returning and have already started recommending it to anyone who will listen. Hidden gem in port credit! It was are first time going to Sorannos, we ordered the mac and cheese which was definitely not what we expected but good none the less. Chef Tony was so kind, gave us free cannolis and garlic bread. Food is fresh, portions are huge(one dish is enough to feed 3). Will definitely be coming back!

The place is very authentic and, thats the reason why it is very busy. Make sure you reserve the spot. And, there portion is HUGE!!! When I say huge you have to believe me that a plate is enough for 2 people with a great appetite. The chef is so welcoming. Love the way he puts in all his love in his dishes. Thanks Chef Tony. One more thing, they have multiple ingredients which comes directly from Italy from Chefs farm itself which makes it Cherry on the top. Vegetarian options: Gnocchi.

If you re debating if you should come here, just do it, you will not be disappointed. The food is delicious, the portion sizes are awesome (be prepared to take home leftovers that you can have more than once) and Chef Tony is the sweetest. Chef Tony makes soul food and the care he puts into each dish is very evident. His assistant Kaydin is also wonderful - kind, professional and helpful. We ordered: Calamari (with chipotle mayo) - Super crispy thick batter, perfectly golden and the squid was tender and not chewy at all. The dip was creamy, not too heavy and not smokey. 5/5 Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli (in Rose sauce) - Came with many large shrimp, proper lobster meat (a claw and some tail meat). We also added extra Parmesan and chilli flakes which was a good call as the chilli flakes actually were spicy and gave it a nice kick. 5/5 Lamb Shank (with fries and veggies) - Tender, juicy, fall off the bone meat. 5/5 We will be back and will order everything again! We went to Sorrano s last night. Wasn t expecting much from a port credit restaurant. These days it all tastes the same (frozen food, dishwasher taste, generic and bland). But this place oh my goodness I was pleasantly surprised. We got a calamari, arancini, meatballs, and the lamb which came with garlic bread and a Cesar salad. First came the calamari and while it wasn t great it also wasn t bad, just a little too big for my preference but nice flavour. Then the salad came, which was gigantic btw, and it tasted like a salad I could make at home so it was good. Then the garlic bread, this was fantastic. Then the arancini, amazing. Then the meatballs, superb. And finally the lamb, and I don t like lamb, but this one was delicious and so tender. It just kept getting better and better with each dish that was brought out. The flavours weren t that of a store bought sauce or a generic Costco frozen food thrown in the deep fryer. Everything pretty much tasted home made. We even got cannolis on the house and I was expecting them to be out of some box but they even tasted home made. THIS is the spot to go in port credit if you want good food. The atmosphere could do with some sprucing up but the food will always keep me coming back!

Place had a small seating inside and some outdoor seating with live music in summer. Homey vibe, friendly chef, and delicious home cooked food. We had the bruschetta and the spaghetti and meatballs. The bruschetta was topped with really juicy tomatoes complimented well by feta. The meatballs were tiny and limited but the bowl of pasta was humongous. We also had complimentary homemade eggplant roasted pepper dip as an appetizer and cannoli for dessert. *Chefs kiss* Service could have been faster but the place was short-staffed, but I kinda liked it that way because you dont feel rushed and the experience was a bit more intimate. We came feom out of town to catch the GO. Loved this place from start to finish. Even before we went in a local was outside with some friendly banter for us about the owner Chef Tony. When we went in we met him and his staff, and they were great and very friendly. The food is the star of the show, besides Chef Tony of course amazing taste, quality and portions. Sorrano s is the definition of a bang for your buck restauraunt. I usually never leave Google reviews, but you are compelled to with Sorrano s. The restauraunt is a little hole in the wall that gives you a true homey feeling. We came in without a reservation, and luckily it wasn t busy, but I would suggest making a reservation in advance. Chef Tony is the best host and really topped the experience off. We talked to him as we were leaving and he even gave us a tip on how to make good meatballs! Unsurprisingly, what takes the cake is the portion sizes. We got the pesto pasta and the spaghetti with meatballs, and a single plate is enough to feed a family of four! Not to mention the complimentary pieces of cannoli at the end. The meatballs were packed with flavour and the pesto was super fresh. We also got the nutella gelato to share, and it was absolutely delicious. If you are: 1. craving Italian food, and 2. want your breath taken away, head to Sorrano s!

Id love to give this place 5 stars because the chef is amazing and knows how to treat people. We were given complimentary cannolis at the end of our meal too! The portion sizes are HUGE. You can literally share 1 pasta with 3-4 people. Its a very small place which is nice because you end up talking to the people around you. It wont be so great if youre looking for a very intimate date though. We were happy with the group sitting next to us and talked to them all night. The only reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we ordered grilled chicken with our pasta and it was extremely dry. I couldnt even cut into it. It was extremely chewy/tough and lost all its moisture. Besides that, the Penne Alla Vodka and Bolognese were great. Once again, the portions are massive. The garlic bread was really good too. Will visit again and will bump this up to 5 stars if all is well next time.

Me and my girlfriend go here every time were in the area for chef Tonys cooking. Truly nothing beats a nice veal sandwich after a long day. Between the incredible hospitality from chef Tony and the mouth watering food I cant recommend this place enough.

When you walk in you just know from the smell its authentic Italian food, it reminded me of my grandma and Zias when they would cook. Portions are huge, way more than any other restaurant for the price. Im a huge fan of the Sopranos. This reminds me of Satriales Pork Store without the impending violence. Owner is nice and passionate about his baby (the store). I had the Banquet Burger and a Brio. The patty was nice. The bacon was good quality, which makes a world of difference. I couldnt tell what kind of cheese. It was (possibly) better than a Kraft slice, but still tasted like it. The buns were grilled and crispy. Pickles were different. Good quality. Not the time to dominate the burger taste. White onions are a nice touch. I, for one, love the BK style dragon onion breath. Romaine lettuce - better than ol Iceberg. Thank you!

Absolute gem!!! I am so glad I couldnt find the place we were looking for. Chef Tonys personality and charisma was the start to a beautiful afternoon. We started with homemade garlic bread and red pepper eggplant spread and a little parmesan cheese. Then I ordered the mac-n-cheese and My Beautiful Woman ordered the lasagna!! The Mac-n-cheese could have fed a family of 5!! It was so tasty with the sun dried tomato. The lasagna was amazing as well. We finished it off with homemade caramel cheesecake, espresso and a coffee. This was by far the worst Italian restaurant I ve been to. The so called owner was very disrespectful and unprofessional, the pasta wasn t cooked at ALL. The meat smelt raw and pink Inside I couldn t believe my eyes. When I was done with my food I ordered ice cream thinking it would be better than my meal, and it tasted like the store bought Neapolitan ice cream, HORRIBLE, for an Italian restaurant this restaurant brings shame on the Italian name I do not recommend it at all.

This restaurant was an absolute nightmare. The staff was unbelievably rude, acting like they were doing us a favor by serving us. The food was atrocious bland, cold, and clearly not fresh. The pasta was mushy, and the sauce tasted like it came straight from a can. To top it off, the place was filthy, with dirty tables and a foul smell lingering in the air. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay far away!

Everything was amazing, minus the fact that my mom got food poisoning from the shrimp. But the experience was wonderful and I m sure it was a freak accident. My husband and I came upon Soranno s by accident driving through Port Credit. It is a very casual spot, suitable for families. Chef Tony is a great guy and knows how to cook! He checked in on us a couple of times. As others have mentioned, pasta portions are HUGE! I had ricotta ravioli (you choose what sauce you want) and had enough leftover for my husband and I to eat it for lunch the next day! My husband ordered lasagna, and he said it was great. Pasta is homemade. Chef Tony sent homemade cannoli s for dessert, which was a lovely touch, and ending to our meal.

TURN THE MUSIC DOWN. Blasting consistent music at that volume ,every single day, is wild so near houses. The disrespect you show the families in your neighborhood is top tier.

Incredibly inconsiderate establishment. They are located in a residential area and blast live music all night long at absolutely unreasonable volumes. Appropriate level of noise for perhaps further West on Lakeshore where the bar scene is. But there are only houses and residential buildings in this particular area where they chose to open a restaurant. I live two streets down facing the opposite way and because of the way sound travels down Lakeshore and funnels into narrow neighborhoods, their live music enters everyones units and sounds as clear as though it was live in our own parking lot. Up until 10:30pm every single night, they are blasting their Wish-tier rock music. I gave them a call to ask them to turn it down and all I got was a really aggressive YEAH, ITS *LIVE* MUSIC, CANT TURN IT DOWN - sir, live music is reliant on amps and speakers which have volume adjustments the last time I checked. I think the biggest insult to injury is that the live music isnt even good. If youre this bent on disturbing the peace, at least hire real musicians.

Amazing establishment! Great food at good prices, I live in the area and have been here a few times and it s a great place for you and the family to have a really nice meal and time in the Pc area. My partner and I drove my sister and bro-in-law from Toronto to take out my other sister and her hubby to celebrate their anniversary. Chef Tony greeted us effusively. We were immediately seated and within minutes we placed our orders with Chef Tony. Shortly afterwards our yummy garlic bread arrived. It took another 1/2 hour for one pasta dish to arrive and we all gasped !! The bowl of delicious, steaming hot penne was cartoonish in its extreme size. There was enough for at least 4 generous servings yet there were FOUR MORE pasta dishes to arrive !!! We were NOT advised that we had ordered ridiculous amounts of food by Chef Tony. One order of salmon arrived 15-20 minutes after that first pasta..it was hot and delicious and was the only sensible sized portion provided. The Caesar salad provided would have been plenty for all 6 of us yet was meant for two. When I confronted Chef Tony that we should have been cautioned about our ordering he replied.. Didn t you read the reviews everyone talks about portion size. Nobody ever finishes their food, they take home leftovers . I have lived over 73 years and have travelled abroad and I have NEVER had portions this huge. The food was delicious but the grotesque amounts were somewhat off putting. Everything s about this place was so wholesome! Immaculate vibes from chef Tony and our host! This experience was spectacular! Food was so delicious, every dish was made with love and joy! We had gotten the calamari, penne all vodka, ravioli and my absolute favourite Homemade Potato Gnocchi! They were all delicious. The homemade cannolis was the perfect dessert to end this amazing dinner. Overall I would give this place 10/10 and recommend it to all my friend and family who want great vibes, energy and delicious food!

It was such a delight to dine at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, Ive never had better lasagna. Chef Tony is so friendly and takes pride in the food he prepares. Ill definitely be coming back.

Veal meatball appetizer and garlic bread out of this world.

My new favourite Italian restaurant! I don t really like meatballs but ordered spaghetti with meatballs because they are made with veal, and I have to say they were top notch. The spicy pepper sauce was perfectly flavoured. The owner was super nice and comes around often to check on everyone. Cannoli made in house was delicious and complimentary! Looking forward to trying many more menu options.

Chef tony greeted us with enthusiasm, at us down. Gave us a run down of the history of the restuarant. Garlic bread with the egg parm spread 10/10. Ceasar salad. 6/10. Wouldve been a 10 if the dressing was homemade. Salad was fresh tho. Chicken Alfredo Pasta was good. Sauce was phenomenal. Viking portions across the board. Portions are too huge to finish in one go, try a day intermittent fasting day before you decide :P . This Restaurant/Bar is a neighborhood gem! Great food, and very friendly service. Possibly, the most attractive aspect of this establishment is the live music that you can hear free of charge on Thursdays, and often Sunday as well. I live only one building over so I feel very fortunate to have easy access to this extremely fun, and entertaining environment. If you want to spice up your Thursdays, I strongly suggest checking out Sorrano s you won t be disappointed:-)!

This is a hidden gem on the east side of Port Credit. Amazing value. Tony now has bands outside his restaurant early on Thursday evenings which is attracting new guests. If you haven t tried his veal sandwich you are missing a mouth watering treat. Make sure you drop by on a Thursday to support Tony.

First time here. Chef & Owner as well as staff were super friendly. I ordered take out: Shrimp & Lobster Ravioli. It was really good except that shrimp & lobster still had full shell on and was hard to remove whilst eating a very tasty saucy pasta, so had to get my fingers all dirty. If it were not for that hassle I would of given 5 stars. Its a small restaurant with very limted parking, but Ill be back. Note: I got complimentary small cannoli, those were superb. Thank you Parking: Unfortunately not wheelchair accessible if dining in unless you eat outside on the porch

Went here on a random afternoon for a lunch and I was so happy I went here. From the atmosphere to the food to the service everything was excellent. The chef is really friendly. Portion sizes are very big so 2 people can definitely share 1 portion

We were greeted by the owner/chef. He was very friendly and cheerful. Easy going atmosphere. Limited seating, but that was fine for us... we didnt want a busy place. The food was so delicious and the portions were huge!! Ordered the ravioli with ricotta cheese and spinach, and that could have fed us three easily. The red wine was very nice. The chef came out a few times to chat with us which was lovely. Well be going back !!

I ordered food through a delivery app and the owner called me to let me know that the driver had forgotten half of my order and was refusing to come back for it. I thought that warm family friendly restaurants were from a bygone era. Chef Tony and Soranno s brought it back. We had gelato in the past and recently, had their food. Wow. Delicious and the portions are as big as the big heart at Soranno s. Amazing place. The only regret is that we had it delivered. We will go back for in-person for sure.

MASSIVE portions at a reasonable price makes for a price / value experience which is amazing and more so rare in the GTA. Tony is exceptionally friendly and the service is excellent. Tony is a real one. I ordered takeout and while I waited he even brought over some water. The lasagna was delicious. Even the oregeno which came form his garden in Italy was so fresh. I thought he was exaggerating at first but when I tasted everything I couldnt believe the quality and flavour. Highly recommend coming here if you are close by. Definitely a hidden gem

I never do restaurant reviews, but I m still shocked at how amazing this place is. Never in all my years have I seen something so fantastic. When we arrived, I went to pay parking and the owner / chef Tony stopped me and said he had already paid my parking. He gave us the biggest, warmest welcome and served us on plates from his grandma s house in Italy - in use since WWII! The food was amazing and the plate of pasta he brought my wife was - no joke - the diameter of an 18 wheel! I m still in shock and incapable of moving. No one was able to finish their food .the owner - Tony - is a gem .they don t make folks like that anymore. We ll definitely be back!

BEST CHEF AND HOST! SO MUCH WARMTH AND HOSPITALITY. YOU CAN TELL THAT TONY REALLY LOVES HIS WORK. EXPERIENCE : This place gave me authentic vibes, we booked the table for Friday evening and I d recommend doing that since the restaurant has limited seating. This was the only place where the chef actually greeted and welcomed us. PARKING : There are 4-5 spots to park right in front of the restaurant and since we had made our reservation, Chef came out and mentioned that the parking is taken care of! (Believe it would be applicable to those few spots in front of the restaurants) There is enough street parking options just close to the restaurant. FOOD : We ordered lobsters and shrimp ravioli and penne vodka (just as is without any additions) from the Pasta section of the menu. Both are great choices but keep in mind that the portion sizes are huge (never seen before). When I visit this place next time, I might order just one dish and share with my husband. Ravioli was fantastic, came along with a huge chunk of lobster. The penne was really nice as well, ordering it with mushroom would have been nice as well. Both came with garlic bread, Parmesan cheese, and roasted eggplant and red pepper dip on the side. Garlic bread here is delicious and really how it should be served everywhere, an 11/10!!! DRINKS : we ordered the white and red wine they had on the menu and loved it DESSERT : The chef was kind enough to give us complimentary cannolis. I ve have had cannolis before but these ones were truly home made. Perfect in terms of sweetness. Highlight of the dinner for sure.

Was looking for quality Italian food and decided to visit this place with my girlfriend based off of the good reviews! Did not disappoint! The portions are huge and well worth the price. The service by Chef Tony was also excellent and super friendly- would visit again

Tiny little Bistro with AUTHENTIC Italian food! Chef Tonys parents are from Puglia and his dishes are delicious. Portions are HUGE (we took home two takeout containers from each appetizer). And the canno lonis were fabulous (I promptly ordered 6 more to take home). Also loved the Caesar salad and garlic bread, which was included in the meal. We will definitely be back!

Quaint little Italian place with a BIG heart. We had some amazing spaghetti and meatballs, Pesto Ravioli, and lasagna. Everything was perfect, and we were served with a smile by the chef himself. We stuffed ourselves silly, and then the Canoli, in the end, was cherry on the top. Will be back for more soon !

Great place, Tony was such a lovely guy where it makes me want to stay longer. Pretty cheap,.considering portion size and how good the food tastes. Its somewhat far for me, but I would still go here often. Vegetarian options: Veggie burger or sandwich are pretty good.

Not only are the portions very very very generous (picture is what I brought home), but the food itself is so delicious. Garlic bread and cannoli were oh so yummy. A regular recommended the Veal for next time (which I ll be trying). Warm and cozy ambiance, Chef Tony is one-of-a-kind. You can tell he takes pride in his art. Truly feels like you ve known him for years. 10/10 experience all the way around! I am genuinely impressed!

Tony is the chef and owner of Sorannos. He was extremely welcoming and friendly. Generous does not even begin to describe the portion sizes of the food. Sorannos takes the crown for THE largest portions of pasta, thats very well made and tastes wonderful. Easily the best Italian restaurant in Port Credit area. I ordered delivery from here without checking the reviews; I mainly just ordered since I liked their menu. Boy, was I not prepared for how amazing it would be! I thought I was just ordering from your run-of-the-mill local Italian place, but this is so much more than that. The food was delicious, so flavourful and the portion sizes were fair. They wrote the loveliest message along with the food, and most surprisingly (and welcomingly), they gave me extra dessert!! I will 100% be ordering from here again, and hopefully I can drag someone to visit the restaurant in person. Even though I didnt speak to the staff directly, I can say this place is 100% deserving of 5 stars.
