Bright, warm & stylish venue in a strip mall offering Mediterranean-Middle Eastern fusion & drinks.
It was actually a great experience. The restaurant is located in the city center and their food is delicious, especially the cheese pies and tabbouleh. The service is good and the staff are friendly.🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤩
Roman Zaman is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the ambiance transports you to the heart of the Middle East with its beautiful décor and warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a fantastic variety of authentic dishes, each bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend their mixed grill and the fresh-baked bread—it's simply divine! The staff is attentive, friendly, and eager to make your dining experience memorable. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, Roman Zaman is a must-visit!
Roman Zaman is a beautifully designed restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Despite being relatively busy, the service was excellent—contrary to some other reviews. The staff was cordial, and the food was of high quality. I had the hummus, falafel, and chicken shawarma. The portions were generous, and the complimentary pita was hot and fresh. The chicken shawarma, which comes with molasses, was a bit too oily for my taste. If you're not a fan of molasses, be sure to opt out. Despite this, I enjoyed the meal and plan to return to try other dishes. However, the drinks on the menu were a bit pricey, with fresh juice costing around $9-10. Spent a total of 42$ which is a great price for the ambience, service and quality.
Delicious Syrian food. The Kibbeh Nayeh and the MUHAMMARA & CHEESE SAJ are a must have. We also ordered the shawarma platter, massive and rich. It was enough food for 2 and happy to have some leftover for lunch tomorrow. Dima (hopefully I got the spelling right) was very kind and thoughtful.
Absolutely loved the flavourful and juicy meats, dips, crispy fries and the bread was warm and complimentary. The hummus with beef and almonds is to die for. The ambience is so charming and peaceful. Perfect for a date or to catch up with friends and family. I want to try their shawarma, chicken escalope and falafel next so I’m definitely be going back…
First time trying Damascus Syrian cuisine, their chicken shawarma wrap was perfectly cooked and seasoned, wrapped in fresh tasty pita. I suggest trying their Muhammara appetizer, it is a delicious pepper blend served with lots of fresh hot pita to dip and topped with walnuts. Great looking restaurant, lots of parking and friendly staff.
We recently hit up Roman Zaman , a popular Middle Eastern spot, and had a great time We ordered shawarma plate kebba , soup, meat sheet, and tabbouleh. The vibe was nice, but heads up—we went during a slow time, so it wasn't crowded. You'll probably need a reservation during peak hours since walk-ins might struggle to get a seat. The portions were huge, which was awesome. Our bill was nearly $190, so it's not exactly a cheap eat, but the food was really tasty. Overall, we had a great experience and loved the flavors and atmosphere
Whatever I said, it will be lettel for this place The best food ,wonderful team, service so fast, The presentation is amazing, Staff are extremely kind level I never had such experience with other places. I have been there multiple times inviting my friends to give them syrian restaurant experience that I am proud of, Price is really affordable, quality of food , place is clean even they are busy or quiet, it's just WOW, I can't name all the staff , everyone there makes this place unique in his way. I love you all, guys
Its an amazing place and have good food me and my family loved it soo much
Best Middle Eastern Restaurant of Canada
Food was really good Service was really slow and no smile Music was so loud in the morning. Food : 5/5
Unfortunately, the shop is very bad in their treatment, from my experience. I was there on July 28, 2022, and the shop was empty. We sat at a table with two grilled plates. Out of stupidity and lack of appreciation, they refused to move us to a larger table, so that we could order appetizers, dishes, etc., and enjoy our sitting, but their method is disgusting. Very good in dealing, and my previous experience with them 3 years ago was also bad. They do not have any art in dealing. Anyone who wants to eat and be happy should go to a place that is elegant in dealing, he can be happy there.
Everything is nice, this place continued keeping its quality for years .... Always a beautiful experience
Stay away from this place. Service is absolute ly garbage. Ive had two company dinners here. Food came cold and half cooked. Owner and manager really don t care. Its going down hill, far better places elsewhere.
Good Arabian dishes
A sweet and quiet restaurant with delicious food
Excellent, may God bless them
I advise you to eat at Romman Zaman
I am absolutely disgusted with the food presented to us. Neither was the hummas or the kebabs were fresh. We took this concern with the waiter, however nothing was done about it. The meat was extremely chewey and hard. It seems the food was warmed up from yesterday since it took five minutes. I plead to the restaurant owner to correct this mistake immediately. And for it not to happen ever again!!! It was my first time at the restaurant and my last time
Hams was more than amazing
Was great dinner and our server Dema was great.
It was me and my familys first time here. The place was wonderful! The vibe, the music the FOOD!! Everything was delicious!
Great, courteous and polite people. Great atmosphere. Very clean and neat. Great food.
A wonderful restaurant, the food is delicious, and the restaurant staff are all courteous, polite and respectful I advise everyone to visit this restaurant
In the past, it was a good restaurant, but now I do not recommend it at all. It seems that it uses raw materials from cheap elites. Oils fill the food. Most of its meals are salty and sharp to hide the taste of the meat, especially the chicken shawarma, which I will never taste worse in my life. If it remains this bad, I do not recommend visiting it ever.
Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Thank you so much Najlaa for your great assistance and recommendations. This is our favourite place to eat! Food
Excellent service and great food especially the salad. Najla, thank you so much for the warm welcoming atmosphere and for helping us tonight
Najlaa and Julie were awesome! Food great, knafen the best!! Soooo much cheese it was our first time, and this is definitely the place to come back
I was there today with my friend, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food lacked freshness and had an unpleasant greasy aftertaste that made it hard to enjoy. Additionally, the service was subpar; the servers were unprofessional and inattentive, which only added to the frustration. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. There are certainly better restaurant options out there.
The place is great , price are high
I got some Saj Sandwiches for my family back in Vancouver. The team did the extra mile of ensuring to wrap it in a proper way for travel. Thank you Team!
I don t have enough words to express how amazing and tasty this food. It is definitely a must try and you won t regret it. It will definitely be your go-to middle eastern restaurant. Everything is super authentic and the staff is super friendly.
Excellent food and service
excellent food and service, big portions meal
Lovely staff
Great food; amazing service!! Highly recommend
Despite the long wait for food, the food was delicious. Dining area was nice and atmosphere was good for a monday night.
Service and hospitality is on the decline sadly. Flexibility and customer care is not considered at all.
Always a good option for Middle-Eastern cuisine. Very consistent throughout the years.
We just arrived in Toronto and decided to try Roman Zaman. Unfortunately, I only had US cash since my credit card was packed away in my luggage. I asked the waiter about converting currency, and he said they don t do that. When I asked if there would be fees for paying in US dollars, he assured me there wouldn t be.At checkout, the total was $138 Canadian, but I was charged $138 US, which ended up being around $185 Canadian. It was a bit frustrating because I expected to pay in the local currency, especially after being told they dont convert. That said, the food was exceptional, and the service was fantastic! Despite the confusion with currency, I d still recommend Roman Zaman to anyone visiting Toronto, especially if youre hungry right after landing. Great atmosphere and delicious dishes!
Late pickup of order
Great food and excellent service, the room was a bit too cold but that was just for my taste.
Worst place ever nasty food dirty place don t come here.
The food here is always good. But recently their service here is horrible. I came with my family, no other customers and the servers never came checked on us. Just handed the food and left. Most orders were wrong, and then they give an attitude when we tell them its wrong. service was so bad i gave 0 tip. Thats sad.
One of the best Arab breakfast places They have tasty breakfast with a lot of options such as fata, hot potato and different types of manakesh and so much more Highly Recommend for breakfast meal Food : 5/5
Nirmeen and Julie are so nice and helpful. Their smile is amazing. The food is also amazing and you need to try the Moskhan it s really good
Crazy quantities of food. Get the shawarma with hummus. Amazing
Everything was amazing! Fawaz took very good care of us
We went for a friends birthday and the food, service & staff were amazing. Some of the best Syrian food I ve ever had
The food was great! Very yummy! The fountain in the middle of the restaurant is very nice to look at.
Unfortunately over priced and doesnt raise into expectations. The meat was dry, and the chicken breast skewer was dry. The Fettouch has nothing to do with the real Fattouch. You can barely call it a salad. The Kabab is excellent as well as the baked bread.
The food is amazing. We ordered the mixed grill platter. Everything was cooked to perfection. The bread was fresh and just out of the oven. The staff is very caring and respectful.
Me and one of my friend was visiting a place for an appointment near this place. We came early so had some time for lunch. We went to this restaurant and we asked for a table of two. They took us in to the end, almost at the kitchen entrance at a table of 6. So I politely asked the guy to move us to other table. More than Half of the restaurant was empty. He said we can not sit there. I asked why?, he replied because that is table of four. So I told him that you are making us sit at table of 6, but not at 4. He added that it is lunch time and more people may come in. I politely told him that sorry I am not comfortable sitting at this dark spot, I am paying extra for a premium experience so I should at-least like where I sit. He said if you can not sit here we can not serve you. So we left to another restaurant just beside this. The Indian place, amazing food, great sitting, polite staff and liked everything. I don t know this is my personal opinion, but maybe high end restaurants are allowed to be rude to young males. Good interior and lighting are the highlights for me in a fine dines, but for food it s rarely a good experience. Food is average and they charge you too much for small portions. Same is the case with this Roman Zaman. Can t comment on food, but if you like being treated well, don t go here.
Genuinely one of the worst shawerma Ive ever had. The food is expensive for no reason, the chicken is super dry with little to no flavor, it contained at most 3 slices of pickles. They gave me the food in what seemed to be a dog food bowl as I wasnt worthy of their service. Why does anyone come to this place? I have no clue but anyone who does is wasting their money. Save 13 dollars for a single skewer and buy your food elsewhere. This place deserves 0 support.
Bad service !! Food was very disappointing and quality went down to zero Waitress have bad attitude and zero customer service ..never going back after being a customer for the last 2 years. Took forever to get the food !!!! Never going back
Love their food
Worst host/manager ever , somebody needs to teach them some manners. She was so mean and awful to us
Very good food Parking: Free packing lots Food : 4/5 |
Nice restaurant and worth the experience Dietary restrictions: Nice Lebanese food
Honestly this place is underwhelming, they act pricey but the food is nowhere near amazing. The service is very bad ; our host never came back to the table to even check on us after the world was put down on the table. Lol after our meal was over they asked us if we wanted something else. The kebabs were undesirable and dry, the hummus lacked salt though the fact that they put pine nuts in it was nice, the chicken on the shawarma platter was really good and thats about it. Not worth the hype or the price tag at all and I know Lebanese and Syrian food extremely well. This is below par. Crappy.
Just way overpriced for what you get. Food is OK. Service is good. Food : 3/5
The food is good but the portions for most dishes do not match the prices. The shish tawook skewer dish was quite small and did not have a lot of fries with it either.
A charming place with wonderful staff and delicious, home-style food. #free_palestine Food : 5/5
Today was our first visit to Roman Zaman, and unfortunately, it will be our last. My wife and I enjoy trying restaurants based on Google Maps ratings, and we chose Roman Zaman for its high ratings and appealing menu. We drove 1.5 hours from Kitchener to Mississauga and were initially impressed by the staff wearing Kofiah much respect! After a bit of a long drive, we needed to use the restroom, but it was disappointing. My wife found a baby diaper in the women s bathroom, and it was smelly. The men s bathroom wasn t much better. Still, we were excited for the food. We usually start small when trying a new place. We ordered Yalanji first it was good, but not something to go out of your way for. As a soup lover, I then ordered the mushroom soup, which tasted like it used canned mushrooms (I might be wrong here) and the soup was just fine (Always Alhamdulillah). We decided to give it one more shot by ordering the overpriced Arayes, hoping it was worth it, but it was a letdown. It was oily and lacked the authentic Arayes taste. After that, we left feeling a bit disappointed. The atmosphere was nice, with a homey vibe, a fountain, and pleasant décor, but honestly, we came for good food worth the trip. LUCKILY, there was a bakery next door where we enjoyed croissants, dessert, and complimentary lemon water drinks. In the end, the place has great vibes and you might enjoy it. Maybe there are some great dishes that we didnt try but it was our bad luck. However, the rating is for our experience not for the restaurant.
Good Place Food is average Location is Good Plenty of free parking space Staff are Friendly
Authentic and really good Arabic food. Fantastic service. I definitely come back here.
I ordered a delivery few days ago for the first time from this restaurant and the food is horrible, I was in a hurry so I didnt take pictures unfortunately, there were a lot of burnt pieces, specifically burnt onion pieces that covered all the rice and all the fries in the food, and I had to pick it up it piece by piece, I had to throw some rice and fries because it was all covered with burnt pieces, it was gross and horrible, and the food is very hard to eat, it seems like it was about to burn because its not edible, it feels like eating a piece of tire instead of beef kabab grills or shish tawook or kibbeh, its too expensive too, and it tastes bad as well. Me and my friends who ordered this food didnt like it, we regretted actually. There are a lot of other restaurants that has much better quality and much cheaper food than the food I received from this restaurant, I dont know how this restaurant is still open while they are selling horrible and expensive food like that. I advise everyone not to go or buy from this restaurant.
Took them an hour to make our food and half the orders were wrong. Not worth the wait.
This is one my favorite places to go out and eat at im a very introverted person overall but i gotta say this one waiter Ammar s customer service is fantastic he s always got a happy face even though im a very picky eater I enjoy the food here a lot been eating here since i live in mississauga I highly recommend.
Very dirty place
the food doesnt taste good at all, restaurant is often dirty and the prices are too high for the quality of food they are preparing here. I wouldnt recommend this food to anyone not even my worst enemy.
We came from USA based on the recommendation They deserve 5 stars Very good food, clean, and amazing atmosphere Food : 5/5
Dema and Hams are amazing! Highly recommend this place!
Very good Syrian food. I would recommend it but a little bit pricey compared to the portion of the food you re getting.
The food was delicious.the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere takes u to Damascus. I Highly recommend this place!
If you want to experience one of the best quality food and service then this is the best place to visit. Our service supervised by Mr Hassan was cheery on the top.
We ordered Muhammara and Hummus Fattatna.
The food was very flavourful, especially the beef. The workers there were incredibly kind and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
This restaurant is amazing! The service, food, and overall atmosphere was exceptional. We were served by Hassan and he helped us a lot with picking our food choices, their beef skewers being some of the best we ve ever had. Would definitely recommend this place!
One of the best restaurants serving authentic Syrian food. Loved the vibe of this place Exceptional service, our server Dema was the kindest soul. She was friendly and very professional; consistently checking in to ensure everything was to our liking. Kudos to all the staff for their amazing hospitality.
Went with family and tried the Mix Grill, Chicken Shawarma Platter, and the Hummus/Chicken Fattet. The food was absolutely amazing, and served fresh. Their pita especially was delicious, and piping hot. A special shoutout to our server, Hasan, who made the experience all the better with his wonderfully friendly attitude and recommendations! Highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again!
Loved our first experience of Syrian cuisine. Staff, food, ambiance was perfect we would definitely recommand this place Bread was so fresh, amazing Mutabal WOW!! An experience Portions were generous You will not regret Vegetarians options (very yummy)
one of the best places to visit with families and friends
Great place for Arabic food , and great service !!!!
The manager, Hassan, has no ethics. His dealings with customers are very poor. He does not deserve to be on this site, and he does not know how to manage the business. A very bad manager. He doesn t know how to take care of business also have bad attitude to the customer. They should keep one waitress, take care of one table every five minutes and we have different waitresses
very rude management
Honestly, I don t know how many times I ve eaten in this more than wonderful restaurant, from the variety of food, the quality of the service, and the respectful reception of the staff. I advise you to try it.
Best food best experience best ambience
Manager hasan .he so rude guy and he didnt respect customers..some waters they dont have any experience iam regular customer but from now never comes again
Amazing food and service, especially the bread. Special thanks to fawaz too.
Food was really good and service was excellent. Deema and Hams were fantastic
A very elegant restaurant, very quiet seating, wonderful service, and the food is delicious. The restaurant is a luxury in itself.
Food is amazing! Exceptional service Fawwaz has been really great! Made us feel super welcoming Food
DISAPPOINTED!!! Had a friend fly in from Tampa, flight was delayed and I wanted to take him to a nice middle eastern cuisine, as we were fasting. Two person dinner. Googled Roman Zaman, and arrived at 9:17 pm. I was so disappointed when I arrived at this restaurant, and embarrassed with my friend. The hostess didnt even welcome us and it is Ramadan. I normally dont share reviews, however, I was extremely disappointed by the words used to push us out and not greet customers accordingly... sorry we are all booked (but there are open tables).... sorry we close soon (but its 9:17). Honestly...customer service is a key to success and a common sense practice 3 Essential Tips; how to greet customers 1.Own it with a Smile. 2.Respect. 3.Act quickly, But be Polite. Unfortunately this wasnt the case for us, we never tried the food, but the front door experience was horrible. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Horrible prices, 5 skewers for 45?? And just for them to turn out dry and chewy. Also you could tell the hummus was old bcs of the taste and how cold it came out. Only redeeming food was the bread. Another part is the service, I asked the waiter to swap out some of the chicken skewers for meat, and he refused. I even offered to pay more and he snapped back at me. God forbid I make a common request. This place has so much potential with the nice decor and nostalgic ambiance. Too bad it doesn t come with nice food and service.
Great place, great food, very authentic. Would highly recommend!
Only thing refreshing about our experience is seeing that other customers feel the same way. Management has 0 customer service skills. They aren t grateful for their visitors whatsoever. Not sure if they know but there s plenty of other, much better, places to eat that will treat us well. Our food came out completely wrong and management took no responsibility and did nothing to rectify the situation. Get off your high horse. We paid and left without eating, which in retrospect, we absolutely should not have done. Keep this up and you won t be in business long.
I had a wonderful experience at Roman Zaman . The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to dine. Overall, it is great value for the quality. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!
Good food and service.
Clean, small,Mediterranean food.mainly 6appetizers.
Very good customer service food very good too
Delicious authentic Syrian food with great presentation. Friendly staff. Awesome atmosphere.
The food here is excellent. The decor is beautiful.
The worst restaurant and the worst service I have ever been very bad
Excellent Food and Service
Pretty good middle eastern eatery. I grew up in the Middle East and this place brought back more memory than any others. I would recommend the cheese samosa (a must have) and pretty much anything else is good choice- I loved the RZ special shawarma plate and the chicken escalope. Had four cans of Laban too.
Had heard great reviews about Roman Zaman and finally got a chance to visit with family. Despite being a busy Saturday night, we were greeted and seated hospitably. The customer service was great. We tried manaeesh, mutabbal and mixed grill. Food quality was good overall. The only suggestion might be to make the beef kebab more juicy. Otherwise the experience lived upto the expectations. Special callout to their fresh oven baked bread!
Amazing authentic middle eastern food, absolutely loved the Hummus, Cheese Saj, great freshly made falafel & Kunafa thats almost perfect, not too sweet or drenched in syrup. Great service by Dimah & Mohammed who both took great care of us and brought out the food quickly!
I just had a couple of minutes to kill in the area (July 29th around 7:45 pm) so I visited Roman Zaman in Woodbridge. Amazing food, atmosphere but most importantly there were two younger guys who greeted me, helped me understand their menu and served the food. Initially I asked to take the sandwich to go but I decided to stay. They happily accepted that and on top of it brought cold water and a glass. Well done guys !
The worst restaurant ever Bad service and we found a hair in our food and there attitude was very rude
July 31: Returning to Roman Zaman Damascene Cuisine (2 persons) was a delightful experience! The Fool, Fattah, Muhammara, and Cheese Saj were absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that transported us straight to Damascus. The atmosphere was just as impressive, providing a cozy and inviting ambiance. A special thanks to Ashraf, Najla, and Dareen for their exceptional service that made our visit even more memorable. Its clear that Roman Zaman continues to uphold its high standards of culinary excellence and warm hospitality. --- Highly recommend, shouldnt be missed. The wonderful Damascene atmosphere was awesome, outstanding uniform and the staff was so friendly. The best was the friendly staff especially Leen and Dima who took really great care of us. We always go to this restaurant!
Sadly going down than years ago,
Prices are reasonable But the food has no taste, I do not recommend it
This is my second visit to them, the food used to be excellent, this visit the food was okay, I tried the musakan, wasn t that good, I remember they used to have more dishes. Still the appetizers are great. Service was a pit cold. Sure will visit them again.
Beautiful place, excellent service, delicious food
Great food loved the kibbe neyeh, service was kinda slow but they were busy. Definitely still worth coming to.
We had an amazing experience; the food was great, especially the tabouleh and hummus. The bread was the best, as it was made fresh and tasted fantastic. Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs for the kids
We went to the new location in Vaughan and were very pleased. The atmosphere was great. The choice in music was just perfect. And the food was absolutely delicious - many thanks to the chef and to all staff.
the greatest food in the world. not one thing that s not good. Also there drinks are to die for.
Food was good. Not as great as it was few years back. Service was a bit slow however they were very polite.
Awesome Syrian cuisine. Shawarma and Arayes are their specialities. Kebabs are also an honourable mention
Delicious kebbeh neyyeh , and Falafel but the hummus is thick , not tasty and not creamy.
Great prices (only $45 for two people) & food is very filling. However.... Unlike what some reviews said, there were no explicit vegan options... (They did have vegetarian.) They had to make some of ours vegan. Nonetheless the servers were super nice and they gave us extra bread on our way out with no additional cost.
Poor experience, we do order online based on menu posted on google by the restaurant then we was surprise that prices totally different once we pick up the food, owner was not helpful at all he choose to save few dollars and lose customer, feel really bad experience
I loved it. The quality of the food and the atmosphere inside is the best.
Decent food for the pri And nice staff
Loaded food, great shawarma & hummus
The food here is so good, I have been here many times and always get the cheese samboosak, Taboola, and the hummus. They are cooked properly, and the food comes so fast making sure u dont have to wait, the prices are affordable for a family coming to eat, dont eat at MacDonalds, that place has very bad food, this place is better. The staff here are very nice and make sure u are seated immediately. This place will make u never want to go to any fast food restaurants.
Hi, overall, it was a good experience here with decent vibes and great taste. However, the experience was marred by the servers rude and insulting behavior. She threw the food on our table with a grim face and rolled the sauces down, which ended up upside down, without any apology. I didnt want to create a scene because thats not my nature or upbringing. I had dinner around 8 pm on July 29th. The server was wearing a light-colored scarf, and my bill was $105. Despite everything, I still paid a $15 tip because the staff at the front door greeted us nicely. We had plans to visit again, but this rude and arrogant behavior, which my entire family, including my kids, noticed, will make me think twice.
The food was delicious and the ambience is lively and lovely.
Awesome food even better staff
Food is amazing and very big portions. I got the shawarma platter and it was very tasty. I love the service and how fast they are. Hems and Dema are very kind and helpful people. They kept checking up on us and help us with anything we needed. All the servers are ver kind and respectful. You should definitely try this place!!!
This has been a great introduction to middle eastern food for me. The staff was so friendly and the food exceeded my expectations!! 10/10 recommend coming here with family or friends for some really lovely affordable middle eastern food. Keen to explore more Syrian food now
Amazing food, very friendly service. Roman Zaman platter is a huge amount of food for cheap.
Today, we had our first visit to Roman Zaman, and it was an amazing experience. From the delicious food to the charming ambiance and excellent service, everything was perfect. A special thank you to Dema, Hams, and Narmeen for their outstanding assistance, which made our experience even better.
Great food and service the waiters tended to us efficiently and the food was good Loved the fakhaar cheese and egg and sausage were both really good
One of the most disgusting places I ve been! My friend used to work there and she s a Muslim, the owner told her to show more skin! Such a terrible person! If you support basic human rights do NOT eat there.
Great food!! Really they have an amazing menu, the have many items you can try and each on of them they will be perfect. The only issue is the price is really expensive , I understand the location and the rent will be higher than different places , but still they can lower it down a bit. Parking: They are in part of big plaza so it s very easy to find parking spots.
Excellent restaurant
Nice place
We love the whole experience , 10/10 the food was amazing, the service great, the atmosphere awesome! Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for great Middle Eastern/ Syrian food. I really recommend the mint lemon drink! We also enjoyed the tea service and the knafeh!
This used to be one of my favorite places to enjoy delicious Middle Eastern food. I always recommended it to all my friends and family for the excellent service and exquisite dishes. Recently, I went back with my friends and, to my surprise, unfortunate I had a terrible experience with customer service. From the person who greeted us to the waitresses, The person at the door was so unprofessional and rude. They waitresses seemed disinterested in serving us, and they cleared our plates before we had even finished eating. The waitress spoke very little English, makes the communication very difficult. The food quality has declined as well. One of my favourite dishes, the hummus with chicken, had very dry chicken, and the hummus was neither creamy or fresh. Other dishes were equally disappointing; the Yalangi tasted like it came from a can. They really need to start by improving their customer service!! Unfortunately for me and my friends, this was our last visit to Román Zaman.
