Far from being Mexican food. The prices are also expensive for the amount of food they give you. Dont waste your time or money here. It s a rip off

I agree with other reviews listed I dont know where businesses are getting their prices it is insane inflation has gone too far and you wont retain customers nor keep them satisified. Especially operating as their food truck where prices are supposed be less this was when it was closing and couldnt have at least given us a free drink for $36 bowl and tacos with barely any taste I could make the same thing at home for cheaper in comparison to this mid cooking instead scammed on dishes that dont justify the amount given.......

Not a fan. Paid 20$ for tacos from the food truck. Paid extra for beef and the beef was like a paste. Hardly any protein for the up charge. Super dissatisfied. The flavor was good. Overall that s why I gave three stars. The other toppings were definitely tasty. But I was very disappointed with the protein and the cost.

I ordered from Alijandros Kitchen for a birthday party and it was a huge hit! We had over 30 people and ordered a few Alijandros platters (chicken and rice) and fattoush salads, and there was plenty of food to go around. Everyone kept raving about the food and how delicious it was. Samer was also very accommodating and happy to work around a tricky allergy in my family. Highly recommend Alijandros Kitchen for your catering needs, we had an amazing experience and will definitely be ordering again in the future.

Ordered veg Alejandros box which was totally dissappointing, it was just rice some beans, spoon of tomato chilly and a sauce!! Nothing else.. it was so bland and no taste at all .. this for 16$ + tip ..

Really enjoyed it. Took me a few bites cuz I kept thinking it didnt quite taste like shawarma, didnt quite taste like a taco...but them my stupid brain started to understand fusion cuisine. If you have a hankering for mexican or Mediterranean, this is not your best choice, but if you just want something tasty and different from what youve been eating lately then I highly recommend this place

I was very intrigued at the sight of fawaffle (waffle cone made with falafel) because I grew up in Middle East and this wasn t the way we did things. To my surprise, the fawaffle was DELICIOUS. The staff at the food truck were very kind and accommodating. Loved the entire experience.

Worst customer service. I asked for less ice in my drink and was denied (the cup was filled to the top with ice) the man I spoke to said the drink was warm, I replied I m okay with that, I just don t want all ice and he said I m not, this is a business When I tell you the cup was FILLED with ice, it was crazy.

We got to enjoy this DELICIOUS food at the Burlington Food Truck festival - oh my it was great! The flavour combinations are mouthwatering, not too spicy and had me ordering extras (even though the portions were fairly generous). We also appreciated the extra touch from the gentleman working out front. Upbeat, great with customers and truly made us feel important. Loved it! Well done!

AVOID THE TACO AT ALL COST The shell tasted bland and dry, a weird pita type shell. Drenched in sauce, which did not taste good, the chicken and ingredients were bland as well. It was so bad I wouldn t try the rest of the menu. Worst taco I ve ever eaten

Wildly disorganized. Kept forgetting orders, for some reason they were serving everything other than the Tacos immediately and made everyone wait 20+ minutes for the Tacos. Not sure why

This was my first time trying their menu and I tried their box and its really good! So many flavours and fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this place.

The girl working there was incredibly nice, very whole some and genuine.

We ordered the Alijandro box and the quantity was pretty good. It felt very healthy with the veggies and the chicken. However, I did feel that that the whole meal could have done with a bit more seasoning and spice for my palate. There was a BOGO offer on the box and for that, the meal we got was excellent. Without the offer, the box is quite expensive especially on uber eats and I would probably not have ordered it.

Amazing food . The original is a bunch of delicious vegatables In a waffle cone. The guy at the counter was very nice and explained what everything was and how it comes. Amazing experience will come back for sure 100%

This place needs to step it up and offer better tasting food. The Mississauga location does not taste fresh. The meals often take long to prepare and they sometimes get served cold which sucks. If they simplify their menu and stop trying to serve everything under the sun then maybe the food quality would be better. My family was disappointed with the takeout we got, and the portion sizes considering the prices for mains and the cost of all the extras. Probably won t go back but some stuff is okay.

Tonights meal, Alijandro Falafel, Taboos Tacos and Hummus... the only thing wrong was there was nothing left over for later. My apologies for not taking a before picture. I ordered for pickup via ubereats and had a special request to have one item be different than the BOGO promo. The restaurant absolutely did NOT have to honor that but they DID! I sincerely appreciate that and they also were kind enough to follow the special request I put in for some of the ingredients. The food is delicious and my parents are loving the marinated portobello mushrooms, I thought theyd be meh but theyre surprisingly good. Definitely good food and awesome customer service. Will be back!

Ordered from here using Uber eats since they had a bogo deal and didnt even receive the second meal. I guess my partner didnt need to eat... Thanks for the starvation diet. Reply: Thanks for replying to my review and trying to pass the blame on to the customer. Everything indicates that I ordered 2 meals. On the app/receipt quantity is shown as 2 and even on the order details taped onto the bag it showed 2x in front of the item/meal ordered. Even the discount was applied but when I opened the bag only one container was in the bag.

The owner is really nice and friendly and super helpful in recommendations!! He was even nice enough to include waffle chips with our order for free! We ordered the tacos in chicken and beef and they were great! Did I mention all the meat is halal! Which is amazing!!! Definetly would recommend!

I want to love this place because it s so convenient but I ve ordered from here about 6-7 times and there s nothing special about this place. It s mediocre food. I ve tried to fawaffle, tacos, salad and shawarma and it just doesn t hit the spot. Disappointed that this place did not live up to the hype.

I went to the food truck at STC Street Eats Market. Their service was very very slow. I was waiting in line for about 25 minutes and only 2 people received their orders. After standing in line for that long, the employees said they were cutting the line off at the people in front of me. I just wanted to order a mint drink and I let her know that s all I was waiting for but she rudely told me she can t make the drink .there was also 10 minutes left before the market closed :/

I was in picking up food for uber and the lady gave me a free meal that someone ordered but didnt come to pick up. Im so glad she did because when I got home I smashed that meal in 5min. We love this local place. At first thought the tacos sounded overpriced but they are VERY worth the money! The box is also lots of food and delicious. Definitely a local favourite!

I am not sure if its me, but the food failed at being good as either middle eastern or Mexican. I got the full meal with rice and it just kind of tasted bland. Ill just stick to full middle eastern shawarma.

Unfortunately, I was really excited to try the Fawaffle but it didn t measure up to the photo in the description on Ubereats. I was so confused and there was 0 avocado. It basically tasted like chicken salad. It still decent in taste as the seasoning was good but it was a wet /mushy mess. The waffle was a really cool concept too and I was pretty impressed even though it was kind of a dry texture. I don t think it was bad exactly but I can t say it was good and I really wanted the avocado:/

Take yourselves off of ritual if you can t fulfil ritual orders anymore. So unprofessional that restaurant was open till 10 PM in google maps and ritual and as soon as I placed order around 8 PM they cancelled it and changed status to closed in ritual. I have reported in ritual as well since I lost the 50% offer for the day. REMOVE YOURSELF FROM RITUAL, you are not fit to use ritual

Alijandro s box is delcious! Nice mix of salad rice meat and awesome crunchy chickpeas, the taboos taco was alright nothing special the bread that had a mini version of the box in it wasn t needed but still funky!

Hands down THE BEST food I have ever had. Having a gluten allergy, I tried the fawaffle cone and Alijandros Box at the food trucks by my building. I now order the Alijandros box weekly! For someone whos used to having gluten free meals Ive never had something gluten free taste as amazing as the Alijandros Box. Idk what they do but its just 1000x better than shwarma plates Ive had before. Highly recommend!!

WOW! Just ordered from Ubereats and im glad I did. Food was amazing. I ordered 4 Taboon tacos and all four tasting amazing. Nice flavours and very fresh.

Staff (who is both responsible for taking order and preparing food) kept taking off her mask while talking to us. She also kept touching her mask while preparing food. Food was ok but definitely won t go back again.

Having marked for a long time, finally made it here. On a Sunday afternoon the place almost deserted. The ones manager Ali is my guess was very helpful and welcoming. Explained what the menu was and suggested is vegan options for all three vegans. We were in for a light snack and hence (still) ordered a Original and Stuffed Spud with sweet potato as a choice. The Original waffle cone is the star. Made from chickpeas and this gluten free and it was vegan. The stuffing was ok. Nothing original about that, bunch of vegetables with a date and tamarind hummus ( but more like a dressing than a hummus). A unique flavour for sure. Sweet anD tangy. The stuffed potato was great. Huge size with lots of toppings and quit filling. The beans were spicy and were great for me. Also had a mango mint lemonade which reminded me of a (south western) Indian raw mango drink (Panna). Good flavour and refreshing.

Great service and the food was a wonderful middle easter + mexican fusion. We ordered Combo 2: shawarma-like kebab wrap, fawaffle chips with spicy hummus and a drink. Later we got the beef + chicken tacos with ghost pepper hot sauce - so hot but so good! Will definitely be back to try some more of the menu options.

Dropped in with my wife late saturday evening to try this place due to rave reviews. Sadly found out it wasnt busy at all..which worked out for us but also against us. Both the people ahead of our line for some reason got served after us. It was pretty clear that the server was new at work. The first shock came when I requested an Alijandros box. The server asked me if I wanted chicken when I had asked it with rice. Strange when I had asked for it at first itself. Next for the spicy Caesar cone.. He had to take a long look at whats being added from the menu and sniff open a bottle to figure out what sauce he had to put in. At this point both the server and me had to smile at whats going on. So we got our order after 15min when everything was premade and just needed to be mixed. He spicy Caesar waffle wasnt spicy and missed out a couple ingredients. It was still alright but clearly not worth the hype of a fawaffle. And the sever said no baklava crumble for the night. This might have been true or maybe he wasnt able to make it for us being clueless at what he was supposed to do. The couple ahead of us in the line got served after we finished up at the place. Thats how long they took them to be served. The ideas are alright.. Maybe on a busy day with people who know what they are doing would give out much better dishes. Maybe I might try it out again but to let the community know: you might be disappointed in spending money and time at this overhyped place on a Saturday evening.

I did uber eats from this spot and I got hooked!!! Portions are big, prices are fair and the quality and taste make you wanting more! I love spicy food and I asked for the hot sauce and it made me sweat but flavorful at the same time. I got the chicken bowl. My picture says it all!

This place is epic. The food is amazing. The platter and the tacos are superb! They use fresh and top quality ingredients and its healthy! Didnt expect it to be this good, i never post reviews, but this place deserves the extea effort.

It was bad but it wasnt as much as to date it 4.8. The food was ok. But very bland in taste. Being Mexican they have flavors which lacked in the food. Overall if u dont find anything else to you can eat it if ur really hungry. Or else avoid. There are better places.

Just received two Taboon Tacos from Uber Eats. Probably the best thing Ive ever ordered online. Arrived warm and tasted spectacular. Could use a tiny bit more spice (ordered spicy variation) but it was still absolutely delicious. Will order again for sure!

The service, the quality of food, the portion sizes and the abundance of choices just makes this place soooo unique. The girl at cash (sorry I m not sure of her name but she wears glasses and has long hair) was very accommodating and so so so friendly! If this place ever shuts down I think I may cry. A bit expensive but really delicious food with large servings. If you are walking past their shop, you cannot help but smell the great food. This is what drove us in to try them out and we are glad we did. We tried the Alijandros Box which you can get with rice or salad or half/half. It is quite a lot of food; plenty of tender meat blended with their unique spices, tons of salad, beans, salsa & a bit of garlic, tahini & hot sauce! And it all tastes great together. If you work near square one or just visiting, try them out. We are definitely going again to try more of the menu items.

Decided to go here because of the ritual app. They seem to be EXTREMELY SHORT STAFFED. They did not prepare well for this. My order was ready 40 mins ago and Ill still waiting for it. They should have scheduled more people to work for their lunch rush on a Friday

Ordered a salad box which was good; but we felt that it was overpriced for what we paid . Seemed like the salad was just rice 6 bean medley corn and some tomatoes. Also I found it difficult to eat the salad with a spork

Not sure of the non-vegetarian food here but the falafel waffle for vegetarians is a horrible excuse for marinated lettuce as the filling. I also added avocado in mine and it came with its peel. Delightful. Save your money and just buy a falafel wrap elsewhere.

Very interesting and good concept. We both got the bowls, which contained salad, crunchy chick peas, rice and mushroom as the protein. The sauces were very flavorful, I loved the garlic sauce. The portions were decent and the price wasnt too expensive. The person who took our order was friendly and food came quick. Its a small place but I recommend you give them a try!

The food here was exceptional. It wasnt that bad. But the price is overpriced in regards to the food quantity. Extremely overpriced. The staff is extremely slow and seems to be confused. Also, please make the music family friendly because I dined in with my family today and it consists flawed language and there are young kids around. Had an original Fawaffle cone at the CNE food truck area. The staff is patient, knowledgeable, and helpful when fielding questions about their products. The food was flavourful, and I didn t feel gross after eating it. Overall this food truck experience exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly be a return customer. Would recommend.

I got a alijandro bowl, the lettuce was brown, and the chicken was so dry.i took 2 bites and threw it out. I was beyond surprised because I went from the high reviews. Won t be returning.

The food here is very interesting and the fusion of Mexican and Mediterranean goes together so well! Recently felt like the quality went down a bit but I cant get enough of those taboon tacos. So good!

Their bowl was not worth the price at all. Paid $15 for a bed of rice in a smaller than average container, layered with cold clumpy chicken and some salsa. Super unimpressed by the quality and taste.

The fawaffle cone (made with chickpea flour) is delicious! Such a great idea for anyone that wants to enjoy a falafel wrap but can t have gluten or wants to cut down on carbs. Loved it so much that I even got some fawaffle chips to go.

Food is really good! Their Fawaffle is a unique creation - something your must try if you decide to come here. Their Alijandros Box is pretty good too. A small sample of their waffle cones with their chipotle hummus was also available at the front of the line to try before ordering. Theres free 30 min. roadside parking and you gotta go up a small set of staircase to get to the entrance. There should be a ramp around here too because they have wheelchair accessible buttons. Its a small restaurant with limited amount of seats available to dine it. Service is nice and friendly. They unfortunately dont accept SPC anymore even though its still pasted on their door and available on the SPC app. However they use Ritual as a platform to place orders from your phone - if you sign up with Alijandros Kitchen, youll get $10 to use. Overall, I would come back for their food.

Fawaffle was good however missing vegetarian protein. It was a salad in a Waffle. I asked if I could add protein and pay for it, the person said no. I wasnt really full after the meal and had to eat something at home as well.
