1090 Kamato Rd unit 17-19, Mississauga, ON L4W 2P3, Canada
Esteemed locale with a polished interior serving elevated Vietnamese specialties.
Hidden in an industrial park where you think no fine restaurant there will be is this superb Vietnamese place. The ambiance is great, the service is excellent, and the food is authentic and flavourful.
Follow @bredgyeats for more food pics! You may first come here for the popular Beef Rib Pho, but you stay for the fish sauce wings, and come back for the grilled chicken. The pho is Vietnamese parent-approved, enough said. Seriously though, a fragrant broth that's full of beefy umami flavours and a slight sweetness, with thinner rice noodles that soak up all the unctuous broth. The meat also slides right off the bone, seared for tons of flavour, and perfect with some oyster sauce. The fish sauce wings are an addicting mix of a sweet and savoury fish sauce that's slathered over the crispy chicken wings, with a ridiculously thin yet crisp skin that sheaths a juicy interior. Luckily the portions are big because these disappeared quickly. My personal favourite that tops any version I've had in Vietnam, the grilled chicken is cooked to perfect for a mouth-watering smoky char that compliments the fish sauce marinade that has completely penetrated through each bite. Dip it in the slightly sweet fish sauce that comes with a hint of funkiness to pair with the fried pandan sticky rice cake, with an addicting texture contrast of crisp and glutinous. Service was very friendly and helpful, ambiance was spacious and comforting.
Been here a few times. Our favourite Vietnamese restaurant. Authentic, generous in portion, and reasonably priced and always consistent. We are willing to travel 50 mins to this place since we live in different city but it worth the trip. Padthai, vermicelli with bbq chicken, beef salad and dessert, they’re all so good.
Unique interiors compared to most Vietnamese restaurants and the food was very authentic and well presented. You're paying a higher price but the service is splendid and every dish was perfectly made. They were also very knowledgeable about their kitchen allergens for our peanut allergy. The only comment I have would be that I was a bit disappointed that the Ca Phe Sua Nong (Hot Vietnamese Coffee with Condensed Milk) was served in a mug and all stirred before being brought to the table. I think for a restaurant like this, having the drip coffee filter and layered coffee and milk would be more suitable. Either way, we would return again as I want to try more of their dishes and nothing else disappointed!
This place was hyped up a lot from some friends of mine, and it's good, but it's not spectacular. The food is good, with large portions. I'd give it a solid 7.5/10. The service lacked a bit. It took much too long for them to take my table's order, but aside from that, the staff was friendly enough. Dining with other customers around is an interesting experience. If you are the type of person that can't stand the sound of other people eating, then this place isn't for you. Lots of loud slurping and chewing. Particularly the slurping. Crazy. Parking is a challenge. Not enough spots, free spots are blocked with pylons. There's signs up from other businesses stating that they'll tow you if you park there. This place overall is a 7/10, covering service level, food taste and quality, dining experience, cleanliness, parking.
The exterior of this place is simply breathtaking, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery setting the perfect tone. As soon as you step inside, you’re transported into a tranquil, blue-lit garden atmosphere that feels magical. The wait staff is impeccably dressed, polite, and efficient, adding to the classy vibe. The tables are beautifully set, and the complimentary tea they serve as soon as you’re seated is absolutely delicious. The menu is incredible, with a wide array of options and visuals that make choosing a dish both easy and exciting. I opted for the classic BBQ chicken vermicelli, substituting a vegetarian spring roll, and I was blown away. The portion size was enormous, and the flavors were out of this world. The unique ordering system adds to the charm—you write down your choice, and they deliver it right to your table. When you’re finished, you simply pay at the register. It’s such a fun and seamless experience. The music was also on point, creating the perfect ambiance. Overall, an amazing meal in a beautiful setting!
Had a fantastic weekend lunch here, menu had a lot of variety with several unique dishes. As appetizers we had the chicken with fried rice cake which was amazing, and the mango salad which was good but standard. The large pho came with a generous amount of meat, and the broth was flavourful. We had the banana trio dessert which had a very cool presentation and was fun to share. Definitely the dessert to get. Service was friendly and had great answers to our questions. We were fortunate enough to get a table outside in lovely weather. Prices were very reasonable.
Hidden gem. The restaurant is a bit out of the way. In the area industrial area, but not far from a major roads and easy to get to. We arrived party of 5 on Sunday evening. Restaurant was full. We had to wait a bit to be seated, but restaurant staff very quickly and efficiently found us a table and we were seated very quickly. Food was delicious and unique. Many Vietnamese restaurants in out area serve same exact food, same menu, but this place and dishes I have not seen any where else, and even typical dishes had unique presentation. Staff was very helpful. Helped us to chose dishes best suited for us. We ordered too much and a lady show as taking the order (I thinks he was the owner) even recommended to remove one dish because we had more than enough. It's good to see a restaurant that prioritizes their customers and not trying to force you to buy for food to increase their profits. Overall very positive experience. Can't wait to go back.
What an amazing spot. The food is delicious and authentic, the service is attentive and quick and the atmosphere is unique. I took myself and 3 kids here and everyone enjoyed everything!
Delicious pho, warm atmosphere, friendly customer service. Wouldn t change a thing!
Ph Ng c Y n on Kamato Road is my favorite brunch spot on the weekend for me year-round. The comforting food and friendly service keep us coming back every weekend. Nested in an industrial area near the Dixie Road and 401, this hidden gem feels like a little escape, offering authentic Vietnamese cuisine flavors that remind me of home. I have tried a variety of the dishes, Speciel Ph , Bún Suông, Bún c, Bún Bò Hu - one standout dish we cant get enough of is the Fried Escagot Vermicelli, served with a fragant lemongrass and tomato broth - its absolutely delicious and unique. Thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and consistently exceptional service, it truly makes every visit is a delightful visit.
Best pho I ve ever had! This is such a great place! And amazing staff.
I visited this place on Saturday for the first time. It was a warm welcoming vibe upon entry with super friendly staff greeting us at the door. I love the atmosphere and the sparkling lights on the ceiling for decor. Our server, Brian, was incredibly personable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu. He answered all of our questions with ease and gave us some fantastic recommendations for food. The customer service was 10/10. The food arrived FAST after ordering. It was wild. I would absolutely recommend this place if youre looking for amazing food and outstanding customer service.
Parking: I was there on the weekend and in the evening. lots of parking at that time. Food
There was more meat than noodles in pho Just amazing, unbelievable Really good food Food : 5/5
10-10 would go back there in a heart beat. My one issue is that I wish I lived closer so I could frequent more often. Just incredible.
Compared to the Queensway location, this original location pho restaurant serves smaller portions. Also, when ordered 4 bowls of pho, we got 1 dish of bean sprouts to split. At the Queensway location, we would receive at least 2 plates of bean sprouts. Also, when we ordered a side dish of plain shrimp chips, 2 different waiters brought us 2 different sizes of shrimp chips. They have no consistency. The place is also too cramped and crowded with waiters walking into your chair.
Straightforward service, I really appreciated that they told us as soon as came in that their kitchen takes a break at 2:50 and they will not be serving until 3:30. (It was 3pm) Decorated beautifully and very classically Vietnamese. Food was pretty good!
This is a place I always visit whenever I come on a business trip. Definitely recommend.
You know that a vietnamese place is OG when it has Bun Bo Hue on its menu. Their version of it does not disappoint. Get past its odd location in an industrial part of town and youll be greeted with a festive tropical themed dining area. Its like youve stepped out of the cold into Asia. Prices are on the higher end relative to other Pho places but still reasonable. The broth in the soups have depth in flavour and has authenticity in them. The rice dishes are of a decent size. The spring rolls are tasty. One thing missing is the assortment of fruit shakes typically found in vietnamese places but they do have this wonderful chia seeds dessert topped off with ice cream that makes up for it. Good for family gatherings and groups. They accept credit cards now, 5% cash discount
Excellent soup beef rice noodles, little bit on the pricey side but still good
Best in town
Well-hidden spot with exceptional food and great service. Strong recommend!
The service was amazing but the food flavors were okayy not that great. The pad thai was too sweet. The appetizer was okay didn t quite like it.
Came here for lunch during the work week, and it was packed. Very large and busy for a Viet restaurant. I had the grilled pork and vermicelli and was great. Very tasty and a good portion.
I wouldn t say it s the cheapest Vietnamese restaurant but the food portion was HUGE. Great taste and the interior was amazing. The service was friendly enough to introduce us some of the recommended dishes. A lot of items may not be found elsewhere. Definitely will be back to try sth else.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. They dont disappoint.
Wonderful!!! Everything was great, delicious and beautiful
Normally, when you order appetizers, they come out before the main courses. At Pho Ngoc Yen, the main courses come out before the appetizers. The food was meh at best. In other words, the taste and quality of the food was like any other generic Vietnamese restaurant. Nothing really stood out. The only thing that stood out was the price. Overpriced for peasant food. Was this a Vietnamese restaurant or not? You have Vietnamese food served by people in traditional Vietnamese dresses but playing Western music in the background. No wonder 90 percent of the patrons were ethnic Europeans. Not very authentic but very pretentious.
Chicken pho was delicious and the fresh passionfruit juice hits the spot!
Pho Ngoc Yen is a family-owned hidden gem that offers a delightful escape from the surrounding industrial area. The decor is both amazing and inviting, which feels warm and welcoming. We were are greeted by swift, detailed, and friendly staff! Cant wait to try more items on the menu! The menu features large food portions that include a variety of options such as noodle soups, vermicelli dishes, numerous vegetarian selections, appetizers, a bar menu, and desserts. During our visit, we enjoyed the Ph Tái (Rare Beef), Bún Th t N ng (Vermicelli with BBQ Pork), and Bún bò Hu . All of them were delicious and of great value! On the drinks menu, we ordered the Cold Roasted Milk Tea Latte, Cà Phê S a á (Vietnamese Coffee with Condensed Milk) and Passion Fruit Juice. They accept credit cards and has a straightforward ordering system where customers can fill out their orders on paper and pay at the register once they are finished. While parking spots are shared within the industrial plaza and can be difficult at first, there are ample seating available to dine inside or outside. During busy times, the restaurant may choose to manage waitlists through Yelp or via reservations for 5 or more people. Parking: Parking lot is shared within the industrial plaza and could pose difficulty in finding spots during working hours as some units block off their spots. Evening/dinner hours are easier to find spots.
HIDDEN GEM! Love this Vietnamese spot for some wonderful Pho, the ambience is beautiful!! Service was great. Brought my mom here for some rare beef and rice noodles soup and pork & shrimp fried spring rolls, the medium size really fills you up. Great spot!
Not enough parking lot but food is amazing
Transport yourself to Vietnam in this cute and cozy restaurant what a beautiful setting! And the menu is enticing with so so many choices. Vegetarians will fall in love with over a dozen choices of some unique dishes that are quite good (a bit on sweet side for our taste but flavourful!) the matcha with chia seeds and grass jelly was a delicious venture! This place is quite busy for a reason despite its location amongst the warehouses but sure attract lots of people! Lots of parking around the building. Vegetarian options: Awesome selection of at least 12 choices. The fish soup was surprisingly very tasty! You would love it!
Amazing food. A taste of home and what you would get in Vietnam
super impressive place nice food and service !
My firat time to come to this place. I was amazed on the set up of the reataurant. Very nice and appealing and great service
Fantastic chicken&pork vermicelli, as well as raw beef pho
Pho is an amazing restaurant offering authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine. The service is also excellent and the decor is very beautiful. My family and I always love eating here.
Really good food, wonderful atmosphere. The only down side is that they don t take Amex credit card, which makes company expenses difficult! Please consider taking Amex credit card, even if it costs more, I m ok with paying more to swipe Amex card and they won t budge.
Revisited after 6 years. My previous experience is just normal. Just came here again on a busy Saturday, and it did surprise me. Some people needed to wait outside of the restaurant. But surprisingly I could get a table quickly. Food is very good, and it is served very efficiently. Pad Thai probably is one of the best in Mississauga. Waitresses dress in Vietnamese dress. They are very polite. The restaurant is artistic and Vietnam style. Recommended.
The host at the front was great, service was quick and attentive. Great food
Great atmosphere with good food. Good quality food, hence a bit pricier than typical pho.
The food and service were amazing! This was my first time actually having pho, so this really set the bar. To order, you just write what you want on a slip, and the server then takes it. We were a little confused initially, but the server was patient and explained the process and also offered helpful suggestions (like adding less noodles). We ordered the mango salad, BBQ chicken with rice cake, seafood pho and beef ribs pho. The seafood was my favorite but the beef ribs were fall off the bone soft. Both were delicious. Definitely a must try restaurant. They do get quite busy! We got in before the dinner rush.
The host was cocky to my parents. My parents spoke in Vietnamese to him but he responded in English even if he knew how to speak the language. I thought that was rude of him since my senior parents do not understand English.
Used to love this place so much that whenever I go to sauga I ll come to this place BUT TODAY, while we were eating, there was a BIG crock ache on the wall beside me. That was big NONO. Not going back because of poor sanitation.
Always best no matter food or service. Always my No One choice!
Absolutely incredible food & service.
A little pricey but the food is great. I d recommend avoiding the braised beef pho as it was expensive and the broth wasn t as good as the regular rare beef pho.
This is often mentioned as one of the best pho restaurants in the GTA. Obviously the food is delicious but to me there are two things that put it above and beyond. 1 - Good value. The beef pho comes with a generous amount of meat. Even the medium bowl is hard to finish. $20 to $30 per person depending on if you get drinks or apps. 2 - The service is spectacular. Drinks come out immediately after ordering. Apps and pho came out maybe 3 minutes later. This was at a time when they appeared to be at or near full capacity. Our servers did not bother us while we ate. There are always several staff walking around so if you need anything you can just ask.
A very good menu with some great tasting Pho! I must say, the service was excellent. The server was welcoming and very knowledgeable; rare these days. Overall, good food and good service
the BEST pho i ve ever had in my whole life - i refuse to go anywhere else but here and gladly make the 1.5 hour drive. service is amazing, you can tell everyone enjoys working there :) their rare beef is truly chefs kiss
Became one of my fav restaurant. The food is amazing! Recommended dishes
Not recommend this restaurant, I just had really bad experiences there. The receptionist named Hieu is very rude and disrespectful. We didn t come there for free food but they treated us like we was there begging for free food lol
Anytime I feel like having Vietnamese food this is my go to restaurant. I enjoy everything about this place. The food is delicious, people are friendly and place is kept clean. I would say this is the best pho restaurant in all of Mississauga. I especially love the sugar cane drink here.
Restaurant, clean, delicious food, attentive service staff
The restaurant is clean, the food is delicious. As soon as I walked in, I met the staff and the owner who smiled and welcomed me enthusiastically, very satisfied.
The food is extremely delicious, plenty of it, and the staff is enthusiastic and friendly. Very beautiful space, restaurant standard 5
Best restaurant ever
The food is verry good and the service staff is extremely lovely and likable
The special pho is amazing, lots of meat with a medium size. Also ordered the bbq chicken with coconut sticky rice, great taste.
The short rib pho and grill mussle were amazing!!! I have a good experience with my bros at this restaurant Food
Get this place on your must go to hidden gems. The service was stellar, food fresh and amazing. Had the vermicelli pork and fresh rice rolls and could not finish it all. Go early as was a line up after 630pm on a Thursday night. Worth the wait, but they take reservations.
Very authentic, I was in Vietnam several years ago. This is as good as it gets. Will definitely stop again Food
***!!! STAY AWAY - BUGS IN FOOD !!!*** We have been loyal customers of this place for YEARS but today our pho came with a COCKROACH floating right in the middle of the soup! The server quickly snatched away the bowl before we could take a photo, but just check other 1 star reviews on Google reporting the same issue of BUGS AND HAIR in the food and cockroaches on the walls! The server didnt say anything or bat an eye, like this is a regular occurrence!! They didnt even comp our meal! This disgusting place should be reported to the food safety department! ***!!! STAY AWAY - BUGS IN FOOD !!!***
Very nice place, came here after visiting the second location. Both are amazing.
Consistently best Viet food!!!
Honestly this place is in a random area, but it is what you want it to be. Service is friendly sometimes fast sometimes slow, food is always delicious and they add some new items here and there but if you are looking for a great home cooked Vietnamese meal this is your spot. I don t live in the area but whenever I am I make it a destination. It never disappoints.
This is one of those places thats always busy because it is loved by so many. The food is fantastic and if youre not familiar with Vietnamese food beyond pho it is a great place to explore. The green shell muscles are a particular favorite but I dont think Ive had a bad bite of food there ever. Its got a busy, bustling atmosphere but thats just part of its charm.
Had lunch the other day at pho gnoc yen, the food was delicious and very fresh. We had great service from our waiter Bryan who always checked up on the table and was incredible with me and my food allergy. Will recommend this place to friends and family.
Yum!
This is my favourite spot to get pho in Mississauga. The food is amazing, huge portions (me and my friend couldn t finish it) they play very soft classical music, the dim warm lighting from the string lights; and the beautiful decor make the ambience perfect. If you come here I reccomend the beef pho + the milk tea
Food tastes delicious. Great service. recommended!
I had the rare beef pho and it was absolutely delicious. One of the best pho Ive had in the GTA. The broth is flavourful and has a light sweetness. I had all the fixings and chili oil which made the pho complete.
This place is definitely a must! Delicious food and great staff!
Feels like my grandma is feeding me
Wow price is very reasonable, taste really good and so much flavour - Best Pad Thai. I ve really enjoy the food, relaxing music & atmosphere, most importantly excellent service, For sure will be back here again. Food
Good food! Great service and great location. Their Pho and Pad Thai is great.
Best pho I ve had outside of Vietnam. The portion sizes are good. They don t skimp on the noodles or meat.
Great atmosphere, service was quick and the food tasted amazing as well, my friend recommended this place to me and I would extend the recommendation to anyone considering eating here!
I love this place! I had a tasty vermicelli bowl with BBQ chicken...so good! Service was great too, the staff are very friendly and accommodating!
If you are looking for an Authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine then this is the right place. The right atmosphere and the service makes me feeling like back home restaurant and the quality of the cuisine is very good. The only downside to this place is the price a little more the $$ ranging a little higher than other Vietnamese restaurants. If you re looking for great taste in flavour you may have to pay a little more for it. Overall I would like to recommend this place to fellow foodie to try.
We dine in many times here and usually order many dishes and didnt really care about the price. Today I start notice the spring rolls always too oily and the oil very old as spring rolls colour looks very dark. The price too high for certain dishes for example the mango salad. its not worth to paid $ 20.75 before tax for a portion of mango salad cuz its Nothing Special than just Green mango Shredded. some fried onion and crush peanut. (The crush peanut too old by the tastes very bitter and stale), It says With DRY SHRIMPS but I barely see any dry shrimps in it. Dont think will come back here again for the deep fried (reusing oil) and any DISHES contain crush peanut AS always taste bitter and stale.
Some dishes are special that you can t find outside
Ordered the fish soup with snapper and fish balls and veggies. You need to go right now and order that. Don t ask questions, just get it. Beautiful atmosphere, from the moment you walk in. Cozy and warm, very welcoming. Comfortable seating and clean washrooms. Food
Authentic viet food presented beautifully. The owner tries their best to accommodate as much customers as possible while making sure everyone has ample space to enjoy their food. Even so, youre going to expect line-ups because of how popular this place now is. My recommendations: Pho, broken rice dishes, their bar foods and hu tieu.
4.8 / 5.0. This is the BEST of the BEST out of hundreds Vietnamese restaurant Ive ever visited. There is no other Vietnamese restaurant comparable to this one. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Disappointed would be an understatement. Came to this restaurant on the recommendation of a few friends, as well as the really high average rating. But our experience was nowhere close to what we were expecting coming in. Of the dishes we ordered, the bun bo hue was decent. The house special pho was very heavy on the MSG, and the noodles were not that good. Meat portions in the dishes were decent, but thats about all that felt positive about our experience. The fresh rolls were presented nicely, but were pretty small and mostly filled with vermicelli. While we were greeted very formally, the service was okay at best. One thing we didnt appreciate was the server took our empty teapot away, and never brought it back. Im guessing this was a sign to us to not overstay, which is pretty unfair considering we were all thirsty from all the MSG. Then the real kicker, right above our table there was very clearly black mold on the ceiling in plain sight. SERIOUS health and safety concern. Dont know if this place just gets high ratings because this is the best Mississauga has to offer, or if the restaurant was just having a bad day, but dont think we will be coming back.
The food is awesome, big bowl of pho with huge quantity beef, will go back again soon.
Very delicious food with a great variety. The spring rolls are delicious and fried to perfection, and I can t even get started with the Pad Thai. Definitely a must try if you live in Mississauga.
Excellent restaurant for celebrating, good atmosphere, tasty fresh food
Really good restaurant with amazing decor and the food was even better. We are vegetarian and we highly recommend some of the vegetarian dishes that were so tasty. DC13 - Crispy Fried Noodles With Vegetables And Tofu was really good and the spicy vegetarian lemongrass soup is also a must try as well. Finally the dessert is highly recommended, I forgot the name, but it was the coconut balls with ice cream with mango sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back.
I ve visited this place about five times, but today the pho broth was way too salty. Thinking the extra broth might not be seasoned, I politely asked if I could get some extra broth. The lady at the register, wearing a pink dress, suddenly had a stern expression and said, You put too many bean sprouts in it. Then, she quickly turned around. Even she didn t asked the reason why we wanted extra broth. So I explained that it was really just too salty, and another male server overheard me and said I ll get you some hot water. And he brought it over for us. She did not even apologize. Later, while I was still eating, another female server came to clear the dishes and took away my side plate even though I was still holding my chopsticks and eating The male servers have always been friendly, but my experience with the female staff today left me feeling disappointed.
Really loved the food at this place. The decorations and whole design of the restaurant were also very nice and made the experience better. The customer service was really great as well, I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend coming here.
Tried 3 different phos (short rib, chicken, seafood) all unique and all exceptional. Service was great. This is as good as it gets for pho.
Great service, disappointing food. Ordered wings with fish sauce, mango salad, and house special fried rice for two people. Wings had a good flavour, but dry inside. The mango salad was okay - best part about it was the shrimp chips. Worst of it all was the house special fried rice. Canteen food at best. Had to force myself to eat it because I was so hungry and still couldn t finish it. Maybe I should ve ordered something else on the menu? Either way, it s not food worth coming back to.
One the best Vietnamese restaurants in gta for sure the food was great, the service was friendly and willing to help I went with my family the atmosphere was excellent
Ordered pork chop rice and pho. Service is ok, food is good. Atmosphere is awesome, never been to such fancy Pho place. Definitely recommend.
Toronto is not known for having the best Vietnamese food in Canada. This restaurant is an exception. Very delicious fresh/salad rolls and peanut sauce, incredible pho and very fast/attentive service. One of the absolute best in the GTA.
We decided to check this place out because of the great reviews, and we re glad we did! Even though the restaurant was pretty crowded, the service was super quick. Vietnamese food never disappoints, and they definitely did it justice . The only downside is the odd location it s kind of in the middle of nowhere, so we can t visit as often as we d like.
My new go-to for Pho, probably the best spot in Mississauga.
Pho soup tastes great.
This place is soo good! Everyone is so friendly, food comes out super quick and its all delicious. I love that they also have unique dishes that arent on every other pho restaurants menu. The BBH and short rib phos were incredible. highly recommend
Garbage food, used to be very high quality and delicious, now it s extremely stale, low quality awful food.
Very Good restaurant.
Best pad Thai I ve ever had hands down!
This place is a true blessing. Food quality, service, atmosphere, price are all excellent.
Great spring rolls! Wonderful broth for noodles as well. Atmosphere wise, too much AC and was very cold, overall music choice is slightly questionable but a nice ambiance overall.
Love this place! The soups are so flavourful and the service is always friendly! Everything is good here! Wheelchair accessibility: Its not the easiest place to maneuver a wheelchair. My mom has a walker and the areas are quite small to move around.
Place was nice thats about it. Even prices was more expensive than Markham(higher end) and for less ingredients. I did find the meatballs to be handmade you could taste the difference. No tripe or Perilla leaves or Mint leaves with the special Pho only Thai Basil. I know covid and inflation did a toll on the food industry but if you are going to charge $20 for a special pho especially in an industrial area then make it worthwhile for the customers.
The foods so delicious Jackie serves us very kindly and gently, helpful . Thanks the chef
Very nice Vietnamese place, with many food options beyond pho (and pho too). Very large portions, good quality and value. We got pho (the most beef I ve ever seen in them!) and a rice/pork dish (tasty too). Would definitely come again.
The man in the vest (I think his name is Brian) is an absolute joy. He provides attentive service and wonderful entertainment. He will ensure your visit is a good one. I m not sure if the vest is his uniform but I think he should continue to wear it as he looks rather dashing. Don t hesitate to come here if you re looking for a warm environment and good food.
Probably my new favorite pho spot. Broth is rich in flavor and beef is good quality. Use thin dry noodles. The coconut sticky rice is very nice and the chicken wings with that sauce is so tasty. The porkchop with egg on rice dish is a terrible choice. The porkchop is drier then the Sahara desert. Mango salad is nothing special. The Pad Thai i found a lil to sweet for my liking. I didnt try the fresh spring rolls, but they look super basic. Decor is beautifully done, I felt like I was in a small village in Vietnam. Service is excellent. Washrooms are clean
Fantastic service. Wholesome yummy food. Every dish is delicious. The portion is big. They can get very real busy. Their team all staff was excellent. The special pho is top grade. Delish broth and side egg rolls was good. I would def come back again well worth the wait. We only waited 5 minutes. The line moves fast. The moment i order the pho it came out within minutes. It was fantástica cant say enough good things. Keep up the goodness Pho Ngoc Yen. A +++++
Ive been to many Vietnamese restaurants, but this one feels the most authentic. Highly recommend!
Amazing food at a mostly industrial area of Mississauga! Would highly recommend this eatery as the portions are generous and fresh.
If it s located here and is still this popular, you know it has to be good! Best Pho restaurant in the city, best in price, best in taste, best in service, best overall. You wont visit just once, I promise you that. Food : 5/5
Oh boy! I finally got to try this restaurant that has been so highly recommended and it surely did not disappoint! As soon as we entered, the decor is very charming and inviting. It brings you back to the tropical orient. Although the restaurant was very full and near capacity, they were able to get us a table with minimal delay. We started with appetizers of fried fish cakes and spring rolls which were both delicious! The fish cakes were lightly fried and not oily and beautifully perfumed with kaffir lime leaf and accompanied by a sweet dipping sauce. The spring rolls were very flavorful and crispy with a peppery filling and fish sauce for dipping. For our main courses, we ordered their special signature beef noodle, Bún bò Hu and their signature braised beef short rib pho. Portion sizes are extremely generous and you always finish the noodles before you finish all of the meat! The braised beef short rib is an absolutely massive portion so you better have friends to help or come hungry! I was only barely able to crawl over the finish line but I savored every last bite! Make sure you remember to order a dish of their homemade hot sauce which is comprised of minced Scotch bonnet chilies and vinegar! It is the perfect accompaniment to the noodles To wash it all down, their fresh passion fruit juice and lime soda were very flavorful and refreshing. They were the perfect drinks to cut through the rich meat, broth and noodles. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience and is now my number one pick for Vietnamese cuisine here in Mississauga! Cant wait to come back!
Humungo portions, delightful ambience. Such a happy place! I loved the tofu fishcakes and the broth was yummy. Spring rolls were OK, slightly heavy. I would come back here to celebrate something without breaking the bank. There are several veggie options so dont hesitate to try this place if you don t eat meat!
Incredible pho and even better service
This is one of my favourite restaurants and they have great service. Food is delicious and you will enjoy eating here. There is plenty of parking next to the restaurant but the restaurant itself is in a kind of industrial area. They have cash discount if you pay cash. Overall a great experience and this was my second visit. Would definitely recommend. Thanks and don t forget to like this review :)
My fav Vietnamese restaurant ever honestly! I would always go here if im in the Sauga area. Get the bone pho, amazinggg. I ve also had their Vietnamese coffee before and it s so good!!
Love the servers. Food is amazing. Highly recommend!
I love this place! The food is delicious and fresh and the service is awesome. Also the vibes is honestly my favourite. Today I tried the short rib pho and the chicken wings and I was blown away by the large portion sizes. I ll be coming back more and more
This is my first time i ever seen in whole Canada for the restraunt charges 15$ service fee for the birthday cake we brought. I can understand open bottle fee in bar but never saw any such service fee for the birthday cake. What kind of service you provided for my birthday cake Food is good but once I start cash out i only seen there were 18% 20% tip options. I have no idea what kind of service you re so confidence for make tip options start at 18% Cake service charge is unreasonable. Would not recommond anyone here for birthday party. Other restraunt usually help their client for birthday party and birthday special. They only knows charge $ before everything. Very disappointed for this time.
We were visiting Toronto and wanted to try a Pho place, glad we picked this place! The restaurant is big and clean, easy to park and the staff is friendly and responsive. Most importantly, the pho and cafe sua da are really good! We were there at 14:30 and the place was almost full, so thats always a good sign.
Felt like I was back in Vietnam.
What an amazing restaurant
Overall food is good, but their service is a lot to be desired. Waiters and waitresses aren t attentive.
Apparently you have to write down your order yourself and no one told us and you go up to cashier to pay. Wanted a bowl and 4-5 waiters/cashiers saw and passed by us. Food was ok.
The food was very good and so was the service I was very surprised at how busy was on a Sunday afternoon it was my first time there and I enjoyed it very much
Very cute restaurant and the food was so good! Inconsistent saltiness. The portions are quite large (you ve been warned). I got pho with rare beef and I would have liked a small option but it was still very tasty and I managed to finish all of the fixings. I also wish they had bigger tables to accommodate larger groups. Hidden gem and I love the décore. Music was very good and the waiter was funny. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Very good but skip the fake meat and add another veggie as a personal preference.
We got diarrhea and vomit after eat the snail soup.We are really extreme disappointed about this.No kidding
My first time here today, it will be my favorite one from now on.
Love this place. Food is so good, amazing portions, and its so cozy
Best Vietnamese food I have ever eaten!!
The place was nicely decorated and the food was delicious, in a very nice presentation. This is a nice place to bring my non-local guests to dine. The food comes in a generous portion. Table wa a little small for two people who order more than two dishes :)
Great family run restaurant tucked away in a plaza where youd never suspect. The service was incredible, the servers are fantastic while they check in on you and ensure everything is great. Really enjoyed the dialogue with the owners nephew who came to check in on how we liked one of their new items (Red Snapper with Chimichurri Sauce) and boy was it good! Pad Thai was excellent as well. Mango salad was amazing. Will be back to try more food with more friends!
Don t miss! We ordered the same food as last time and didn t realize it: 1 Pho Ngoc Yen Dac Biet = NY Special: rare beef, beef balls, boneless beef shank with rice noodles and H2 Hu Tieu Do Bien = clear noodles with seafood and papaya salad. We would have ordered more to try other dishes but the portions are so generous that we have a hard time finishing what we ordered. Packaged to go the broth is separate from the noodles beef balls and seafood were in the broth but the rare beef and beef shank were packaged separately with a large bag of mung beans and basil and 2 lime slices. NY Special is full of tons of tasty meat and wonderful broth. Clear noodles with seafood was great with a good amount of medium size shrimp and scored squid but the crab meat was disintegrating. The papaya salad had the fermented crab in shell there was a lot of small crab but we were able to eat around it as the pieces were bigger than last time wish they d make it without the fermented crab because it s an excellent dish otherwise. Can t wait to eat here again!
Lady at the counter demanded we tip, very rude way to ask, before I even paid. Tip is earned thorough good Customer service, the server kept forgetting our order, and gave wrong order to everyone. Food is good but service can be better.
Today, we went for lunch and the restaurant was packed and people were eating in the yard. Food was excellent . Truly is a delight to the eyes for the way they presented each dish. We hope that they maintain the quality and quantity of each dish. We will try their evening menus on a different day. Parking: Only a small number of parking available. If we come on a weekday, it would be a challenge to find a space.
The taste of the rice noodles was excellent. I hope I have the chance to try other dishes as well.
This is a hot spot ! The food is amazing, the service is lovely, and the food hits the spot! We arrived 30min before closing and folks were very accommodating to get our order of Beef Pho and BBQ chicken & pork! The space beautifully decorated with hanging lights which makes it feel like upscale Vietnamese food. Its a lovely experience - you should definitely go!
I am absolutely delighted for the 2nd time with the quality of food. The Chicken Pho we had was simply the best.
Great vegan options!
My new favourite Pho place! Probably the best pork BBQ vermicelli dish I ever had! The only thing, it does get busy and parking is very limited! - 5 stars because the food was really good!
This place is amazing! Located in an industrial area near highways 401 and 403, dining here is like you re being transported to another world. Portions are huge and the food is fresh. Considering the size of this restaurant, it did not take long to get served. The pho and vermicelli were equally as good
The dishes my sis and I had were absolutely delicious! We ordered the pho, the fresh prepare it yourself rolls and these mussels! Service was lacking. The restaurant was nice and clean! Must try and have to go again!!!
Food was amazing with top notch service
Great Food. Service could have been better.
Honestly the BEST Pad Thai I have ever had!!! I have a severe peanut allergy and the staff were so accommodating! Great food, great service and amazing ambiance. Highly recommend!
Really authentic Vietnamese cuisine served here. We had the bun bo hue and bun thit nuong. Really good portions and incredibly delicious. The restaurant is nice and has great aesthetic. The service was prompt and good. Only downside is that this is quite far away! Would come back more often to try other things if I could
Elevated Vietnamese cuisine! Reasonably priced dishes considering the serving sizes. Best for sharing with a group or a date!
