HORRIBLE!!! THIS PLACE IS OVER HYPE WORST SOUVLAKI EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the restaurant was dirty a lot of tables had dishes on it from previous customers and before you say oh its always busy it wasnt that busy and a group of coworkers including the owner was just standing around talking It was my first and very last time going to this place dont waste your money here

Probably the best souvlaki dinner in the GTA. Nice portions, the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the tzatziki and salad dressing were phenomenal. Highly recommend

Zets is a legendary place. I remember when it was smaller. Always a great breakfast, but the Greek food is great, and huge portions! Please note that there is a propeller in the sign as you pull in.

Got to say their standards are back to normal. I think they reopened Under New Management but everything is really good once again really enjoyed the fish sandwich and the Greek fries.

Tried four different meals over 3 weeks. Huge portions, perfectly prepared. Glad they are serving from their food truck while restaurant renos are happening. Friendly and efficient staff. I had the loaded Chicken pita, Pork Souvlaki Dinner, Steak Sandwich and Pork souvlaki on a bun. The tzatziki is some of the best Ive had...lots of garlic! (sides are delish too.) Till next visit!

First time here and I m very impressed with the portion sizes! Whoever recommended to try the banquet burger, thank you, because it was delicious! Lots of toppings! I kinda feel bad I don t have any photos (because I and my friends ate everything so fast), but that means I have to come back, right? I also tried the chicken souvlaki, and while I appreciate how big the portion was, I didn t enjoy it taste-wise. Must be the spices or marinade of the chicken. I liked the salad though and again, portions were very generous. I was very full and full for a long time after my lunch at Zet s restaurant, which is a plus you know, in this economy. The dinner came with a Greek salad (dressing on a side), toasted bread bun (with some butter at the centre), tzatziki sauce on a side(generous amount of it), rice and potatoes (cooked well, not dry at all). The size of the chicken pieces were big! I d still recommend to try it because taste is subjective and everyone else in the restaurant ordered chicken souvlaki and they all seemed to enjoy it! Right now the restaurant is undergoing renovation so there s a tent outside equipped with lots of tables and chairs, each table had a ketchup bottle on it, there was also a station for napkins, utensils and salt and pepper sachets. Everything seemed clean, I saw a worker coming to check the tent and wipe some tables after guests would finish and leave. Good place to check out even during a renovation :)

On our way to the airport stopped to have a last dinner with friends we had not seen on a long long time. Location was under reno so we had to eat in the tent. Food was pretty good with large portions. A little expensive but as expected.

I purchased the Famous Chicken Souvlaki Dinner for $19.95 before tax - The chicken usually seems a little undercooked but seasoning is good - The potatoes are usually cooked well and are very big - The rice is nothing special but not bad - The salad is okay as well There is enough parking with there being extra at the back of the building. Location is easy to get to. Service is quite fast, they now take credit cards instead of just cash like the past. The reason I gave it such high marks, is because for the price, its amazing value that can last you two meals. All in all, I will continue to come back for a bang for your buck but wouldnt consider it the best taste in the city by any stretch of the imagination

Amazing food and food was delicious. The portions are enough for two instead of one (depending on what you order) My first time going to the one bye the airport had a long lineup but worth the wait. They are under renovations right now but that didn t stop me from ordering from the trailer. Food

They used to be open 24 hours. Large/generously portion of food always. Now only open until 10pm. Steaks, souvlaki, etc. All from the menu are good They are under the construction now, but still serving take out and eatin the tent. Food

I got food poisoning from the food here and I thought the food tasted off. Service was just okay. Wouldn t recommend and won t come back unfortunately.

Found this place on maps looking for where we would have dinner before flying out. They did not disappoint. We ordered chicken souvlaki, taziki, and the zets sauce. The chicken portion was large easily the best Ive ever had and the rice and potatoes were great. The salad is great, real good dressing and the taziki and zets sauce are great dips. Definitely will be going back and cant wait.

We had to order from the truck outside. Food was more salty than usual. Portions were big (like they used to be). you only have an option of takeout than you can go inside and eat . they did not have breakfast like they used to.

The meat was so salty it was basically inedible. Also, what the heck is with having to order outside in the food truck then having to go back and forth from your table to get your food? Prices are astronomical for what you get.

The restaurant is going through a makeover inside. You can still get awesome food from their mobile kitchen and sit in the heated tent. Always a go to when in the area.

One of the best spots to eat in the GTA the portions are huge and the food is delicious. The staff is so hard working and they do such a great job running the line they never disappoint.

The place is a gem as far as eateries go. The meal was portioned well for the price, and if I had a choice of where to get a burger, this would be it. Its an old diner atmosphere with a tightly run ship on the line. The lovely lady running the cash was cheerful, engaging and conversational, all while maintaining her efficiency. The cooks had my meal made and ready quickly, with great quality. The burger I got was phenomenal. If I lived in the area, I would be back to try their Gyro and steak. But the burger is always my first guage of quality. As far as swings go, The Zets Burger on the menu is a home run. The pressed beef patties, bacon, and cheese are topped with pickles, tomatos, lettuce, and chopped onions. Get - this - burger Also, I have an awesome Pic of my burger that google wont let me add Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger and salads on the menu. Parking: Um... you can park your car? Thats kinda how parking works. I dont know why Google wants me to inform you about it.

Always the freshest & tastiest foods served here!! I love their chicken caesar salads, its big enough for 2 people or 2 servings. The staff are welcoming, quick & make sure you are well fed. I wish they were open later though for those late night cravings. EDITED: They also just renovated! And theres so much more space with natural lighting Parking: Parking infront & out back. They definitely need a bigger lot for how busy they are.

Too busy for a good dine in experience, however current renovations may change this. Parking: Zets has a very small parking footprint given the volume of their take out business. Park in the adjacent parking lot.

Visited Zets Mid week after picking up my husband from the airport. SO DISAPPOINTING! First off there was ZERO on their website about renovations and working out of a food truck. I also went for Calamari and NO calamari. I ended up getting the Gyro dinner which was so so so extremely salty. my son got chicken fingers and fries which was good but the girl at the cash was very unfriendly. Did not ask if we wanted drinks so i have to pay separate for drinks and also did not ask if we needed any dipping sauce for the chicken fingers. On an extremely hot and sunny day after driving 2 hours to the airport in a vehicle with broken AC then having to sit outside in a hot tent with flies buzzing around my ears then another 2 hours home was not my idea of enjoyable dining.

The potions are enough for two people. The food is fresh and great value

Beware, currently a trailer and tent not a restaurant. Went around 8pm today. Staff on break were wasting our time, chatting endlessly with the cashier while customers were waiting for their orders to be taken. Cashier was smug, ignoring the customers and acting like we were bothering her for wanting our orders taken. Portion size seems much much smaller than dine in a year ago not really worth $21 for a souvlaki dinner anymore. At least the indoor restroom was still open and clean enough to squat and poop in? Won t be coming back. two stars is for the functional washroom.

I love Zets! Ive been going here since the early 2000s and the quality never changes. Decadence pure and simple, everything taken to the extreme. Just do it!

Pork souvlaki dinner was still like I remembered it. Their taziki is the best you ll ever have. Got some to go with their perfect greek dressing and their spinach pie I highly recommend. Fast service and great food. The customer service is always great, especially the lady at the counter, so sweet!! The only thing that s disappointing is that it s no longer open 24-7 but that s not their fault, big brother ruined a lot of great things.

Friendly service and the portions are huge the platters always last for 2 meals. The meat is tender. The Greek salad is just THE BEST - their dressing is delicious. First time the the food was great....Big portions, delicious food, and fast service. Second visit my Fries were cold oily and soggy. I was slightly disappointed. Will give it a try again as soon their renos are done and hopefully my experience will be as great as my first was.

Have been getting take out dinner plates here for some time. Was there picking up 3 dinner plates yesterday and was disappointed to see that their white square take out containers are now smaller than before. Too bad as customers have always appreciated the large portions...

Went there on October 19th 2024 based on reviews. Restaurant not open due to refurbishment by the look. Instead there is a temporary food van outside and a temporary marquee which appeared popular. System doesnt allow blank rating so rating based on disappointment of not having full facility available. Consequently we went to the restaurant next to the Quality Inn and had two nice steak meals.

I heard about this place a couple of times, said Id try it out. I wasnt completely satisfied. I was expecting better flavors, considering its been around for years; I obviously missed out. Apart from that, the food was definitely filling, Tzatziki sauce was bomb, but the chicken was tough, not tender 2 salad options: Greek or Ceasar; I opted for a Greek salad(no olives) with my chicken souvlaki, I think its appropriate for this meal. However, I was served a garden salad with red cabbage and carrots . That ruined it for me, as I love the flavor and freshness red onion and cucumbers add to a Greek salad. Im in no rush to return.

The food quality matched the quantity, which isn t always the case in many places. There s something for everyone on the menu. Today, something was off with the fish. Wife ordered a 1 pc. with fries, the coating wasnt as crispy like her previous time. We could see the doughiness of the batter. Didnt have that fluffy, golden, crispy look either. Sorry not the best today.

Drove all the way here to find the place closed for renovation. When searched on google maps a notification wasn t present! Extremely disappointed as I know this is a really good restaurant and it s difficult for me to give this one star review people are driving from far to come to this location.

We got Chicken Souvlaki dinner and New York Strip Steak! The food talks itself!! So tasty, juicy and tender. They have a generous portion of the food and it comes with green salad, potatoes and rice! The chicken souvlaki was so delicious, it was so juicy and worth a try for sure. The steak was delicious, I asked for medium but it came almost well done. However, it was still juicy enough. Their Poutine is HUGE! Small one is enough for 2! There was a long line in the restaurant, so be ready for that. They do have Uber deliveries apparently cause I saw bunches of take out orders.. They do have another branch close to Pearson Airport, that branch has a bigger dining salon, FYI. They also have Greek stuff like olives, yogurt, feta cheese so you could buy if you wanted..

Considering we hit the food truck while the place was under renovation a solid 4/5 is just. I got the chicken on a pita. Chicken was generous and it tasted great. A bit of a mess but the flavors were there. Service 4/5 almost no greeting and the atmosphere must have been a bit down that day. Overhyped on TicToc. Fish on a bun was tasteless, and the batter was wet. Zets fries, and the poutine was sub-par. I will NOT return. Drive from Scarborough was more enjoyable than the food

ZETS is currently undergoing renovations so they are cooking out of their food truck and have tents set up to eat in. Despite that, service was very friendly and the food was fresh! My burger was very tasty. The poutine was pretty soggy and used shredded cheese instead of curds so I probably wouldn t recommend that. It s a longtime institution in Mississauga I d recommend checking it out before the airport!

They are currently renovating their restaurant so their food truck was on-site. Food on point- so delicious a bit on the pricey side but good quality and quantity, so its worth it. Parking: Parking is available, at the front, side and back of place- its not a ton of spots though. During lunch hour it does get busy but since a constant in and out youll find a space.

Looked crazy busy when we pulled up, but dont let that steer you away. You get through the line very quick and place your order, and the food is not long behind. There is ample seating to accommodate a large crowd. The food, oh yes the food, looked so good and tasted better. If you are not a big eater, share with someone, as all the dishes we had could easily be shared. We had the chicken souvlaki dinner, which had 4 large pieces of chicken(basically a breast worth), 2 potatoes, heaping rice and greek salad. Since they are open 24hrs and serve everything all day we also had the two egg breakfast with peameal bacon. The home fries that come with it tasted great and the two peameal pieces were large and cut thick.

Zets: A Halibut Haven I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zets and I can confidently say it was one of the best seafood experiences Ive had. Their halibut offerings are simply outstanding. Both the halibut on bun and the platter were exceptional. The fish was cooked to perfection, flaky and moist, with a beautiful golden-brown crust. The batter was light and crispy, allowing the delicate flavor of the halibut to shine through. The accompanying tartar sauce was creamy and tangy, complementing the fish perfectly. The platter was generously portioned, featuring a generous serving of fish, fries, and coleslaw. The fries were crispy and not overly greasy, and the coleslaw was fresh and flavorful. If youre a seafood lover, Zets is a must-visit. Their halibut dishes are truly something special.

Good as always. Never fails. Im 33 years old. I can vividly remember going to Zets with my Dad and carrying a red power ranger in there with me back in like 1994. When I got older and could drive myself I always made sure to stop by late night after the clubs let out at 3 AM before I went home. Ive had everything on the menu 4 times over. I hope they never close and in 30 years I can take my grand kids with whatever cool toy he has then!

You have to be careful what you order. they give you something else and charge you for their mistake. The mistake was fixed, but the experience was destroyed and very expensive

The fish sandwich was the star. It was so fresh, perfectly seasoned. Enough to share, but dont because youre going to want to eat it all yourself lol. Got burgers, onion rings and poutine, all very tasty and fresh.

This is one of Toronto s greatest staples. Everything on the menu is great but especially the pork and chicken souvlaki. As a Sikh, we cannot eat halal meat and I am so glad that Zets serves non halal. Thank you!!

Amazing fresh fast food, fast food speed but restaurant quality food. We ordered the gyro and chicken Slovakia wrap with a side of Greek fries. The homemade Taziki sauce is amazing as well as the Greek dressing on the fries. It has a laid back atmosphere and Reasonable prices. Will definitely return!!

Lots of seating areas. Staff are fast, straightforward, and friendly. Insanely massive portions for the dinners; too much potatoes. You could definitely take home the leftovers. Chicken souvlaki was bland. I was disappointed with that since I was looking forward to the taste. The pork souvlaki was incredibly flavourful. Would order it again.

The BEST Chicken Caesar Salad my wife and I have ever had! We went back again the next day because it was just so good. The souvlaki platters looked phenomenal and I ll definitely try one when I m the area again to visit multiple times (because I ve got to get that chicken caesar salad again too lol). Portions are huge so you won t leave here hungry! There was a long line when we ate there the second time (closer to dinner time), but their line cooks are extremely efficient and the line moves pretty fast. The food is definitely worth the wait!! Parking: Parking is tight and there are limited spaces, especially when there is a long line inside.

Found this place as we were going to a showroom right beside. Bacon burger was very good Peameal Sangwich was very good as well piled high. Steak sangwich was more med rare than medium, so it was a bit chewy unfortunately that s why a star was taken off the food. Large greek salad had a wee bit too bunch dressing ask for dressing on the side and disperse yourself. Fries were very good as was the gravy Got in right before the busy lunch crowd arrived on a Friday. Will definitely come back next time I m in the area or picking up/dropping off at the airport. Ive come to this place so much. Its so amazing everything Ive eaten in the resturaunt has been great. I currently am home with a newborn and was looking for food in door dash and was so pleased to see zets because i was sure it would be good. To my surpise it was terrible as take out. My bill was 80$ i got what I always order and i was so disappointed does not taste like the same resturaunt at all burger was dry bland bacon was stringy. Chicken tenders were salty fries undercooked Ive never felt like ive wasted my money at zets but today felt like complete robbery.

Zets is good eating. Ive been going there for years. Happy the quality didnt suffer after the pandemic like so many other places.

Been coming for years, from when they used to be cash only. Glad they now take card payments! Food is always good and large portions at decent prices in comparison. Even with the long lines they got all the orders out timely!

I have been coming to Zets for over 13yrs and they never disappoint. This will forever be a place filled with good food, family memories, and fun!

Food was delicious. It was not very clean. More like a fast in and out. No nice atmosphere. If you just need something to eat before going to the Airport its perfect!

Yum! First time coming here , food was good, large area , large portion . Worth going too! Will probsbly go again in the futureeee

Sadly, its the end of an era! Seems theyre under new management, and quality has dropped considerably. No combos after a certain time.....really says a lot, too. To anyone who loved this food, Im sorry to say its just not Zets anymore!
