More Thai is a premium quality Halal Thai restaurant pioneered by the famous chef Mo.
One of the most authentic Thai restaurants in Mississauga. Everything was delicious, we ordered Thai fried rice super nice not too greasy, spring rolls very light and crispy, Penang curry beef very yummy although I wished there were more pieces of eggplant, Kaho Soi is really rich and tasty with the noodles, and the Thai roti was crispy on the outside and still soft and fluffy inside. The Thai milk tea and green tea was also very good. Portions were generous, we wanted to try every dish, so will be back soon. Staff service was excellent, place was clean and nice.
We ordered the Pad Thai, spring rolls and a mango salad. All were very good. If you like authentic Thai you will love this place. Portions are large enough to share. Cool decor.
This place is awesome! I got the chicken and shrimp pad Thai, and it was on point—nice balance of sweet and tangy, and the shrimp were super fresh. The Penang curry was also great—creamy, spicy, and full of flavor. Both dishes really hit the spot. The only thing I’d say is that the service was a bit slow, but the staff was nice and the food was definitely worth the wait. Overall, it’s a spot I’d come back to for sure. Five stars!
I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and it’s always been incredible! The food is probably my favourite Thai food in Mississauga. Super flavourful and I love the assortment of condiments on the tables. The service is also excellent and the chef was extremely welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I’ve been ordering from More Thai for takeout and it never disappoints. This is my first time dining in, and wow I am amazed. The service was 10/10. Our waitress is so lovely, attentive and welcoming. The dishes here are all authentic and packed with flavour. We ordered the mango salad which is light and refreshing. The mango’s are so sweet. It is the perfect dish to have as our appetizer. We also ordered the calamari, which was so crispy. For our mains we got the pad Thai & pad see ew with chicken. We also got the green curry, all perfect for sharing. The green curry had a good kick of spice! Overall, 10/10!
Finding authentic Thai food here can be a bit difficult, as local tastes often make the dishes sweeter than they should be. I’m glad I found More Thai Kitchen. While the flavors are milder than what I experienced in Thailand, they’re still well-balanced and satisfying. I’ve dined in several times and ordered online, and so far, the experience has been consistently good!
I recently dined at More Thai Kitchen two days in a row and had a wonderful time. My husband and I enjoyed our dinner immensely, and my parents loved it, too. The service was exceptional, with Anita being a lovely and attentive lady. I will be returning, and next time, I plan to bring my friends along to share the experience.
Small restaurant with huge flavours. I’ve gotten pickup and delivery from here before but my first time dining in was a great experience. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. They also have a cash discount for dine in too. Recommend the calamari! It’s even better in person. The flavours are so tangy and addictive. When you dine in they offer lunch specials from 11:30 to 3 where you can add a couple spring rolls and a soft drink for $2 extra or spring rolls and a Thai iced tea/coffee for $5 extra. Another bonus with dine in is the shot glasses of spices especially their homemade chilli oil which was more flavourful than spicy. Will have to come back again to try more menu items!
Got a bowl of Pad Kee Mao - $18 and was informed that 1 serving would be more than enough for 2 people. Was definitely disappointed with the quantity. It s not worth the price for sure! Would recommend buying 2 of these instead.
Tasty food. My whole family enjoyed the food. I loved the phanang/panang curry and fried rice... You must try their PadThai... The place is cozy... and service is amazing. Food : 5/5
We went on a busy night. The food was amazing! The Khao Soi, Green Curry, Tom Yum were our favourites. We will be returning and recommending this place. The servers and service were amazing! Dietary restrictions: They accommodated our nuts and sesame allergies
Wow - freeze burnt tasting beef in my Panang Curry. The taste of the sauce and vegetables were good, but the meat, the costliest part of the meal, was not good. Horrible taste. This deserves a full refund.
I have only done takeout from More Thai. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced, and the Panang Curry had just the right amount of spice. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance seems warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I will definitely dine in the near future. I highly recommend trying there Banana wrapped in fried Parata/bread for dessert it s the perfect ending to a great meal. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I ve been to!
We love your food but please DO NOT USE STAPLER on your paper bags. Use tape.
The absolute friendliest staff + incredible dishes. The service was great and very efficient! The food and drinks are all so delicious and authentic, and the portions are very generous too! Will definitely be coming back.
The best authentic thai food ever!!!! The staff were so attentive and friendly. The food was 111/10!! We ordered tom yum chicken pad thai, chicken wings, and green curry. Would recommend to everyone!
Amazing khao soi, cashew chicken and pad Thai. 5/5!
Ordered takeout online only for them to cancel my order online and then go offline on the app. Meanwhile their store is still open
Authentic
Amazing fresh made authentic thai food! Great deal if you pay cash when picking up your lunch order. The Khao Soi was packed full of flavour and their Tom Yum pad thai was a perfect new spin on pad thai. Decent parking, great seating with a nice vibe!
More Thai is always my go to thai place! Every time I come here for takeout or to dine in, I always receive great service from the workers here. If you re new to thai cuisine, I d highly recommend their pad thai as well as one of their thai iced tea drinks. They never disappoint!
Best thai food Ive ever had, and service top notch as well. Highly recommend
More Thai is an amazing authentic Thai restaurant thats 10/10. The food is deliciously tangy, savory without being overpowering, with very generous portions. Mouth watering condiments are offered for free and the Thai drinks are a wonderful offset to their spice. Wonderful for small or big groups, with appropriate accomodations. The Tom Yum Pad Thai is something I reccomend as you can see in the photos it was so good I licked my plate clean. Talking about clean the toliets are very well maintained and clean.
Ordered via Uber Eats and called right after the order was placed to ask if they could put a note on the order saying No Nuts (I was unable to do this via the app). The person who took my call assured me they would put a note and asked for the order name and what was included (they specifically said no nuts on the pad thai). However, all of the food came covered in peanuts and was only found out after two family members started to have an allergic reaction (with one having a severe reaction). This couldve been a deadly situation. I am extremely disappointed as I enjoyed eating in at the restaurant last month. Individuals with nut allergies, please do not chance ordering online with this restaurant. I gave them a star at all as for those people who could eat the food (i.e no nut allergy), they said the food was good.
I recently went on a mini tour of Thai restaurants, hitting three spots in one day. Our first stop was More Thai in Mississauga. This gem is the sister restaurant of Sala Kitchen, owned by Chef Mo, one of my favourite chefs. As expected, the food was amazing, with beautiful presentation. Heres what we had: - Khao Soi - Pad Ga Prao - Kheaw Waan Chicken - Thai Style Cashew Chicken - Chef Mo Pad Thai - Som Tum Thai - Roti Pancake - Cha-Yen (Thai Iced Tea) - Cha-Kheaw Yen (Thai Iced Green Tea) It was a lot of really great tasting food. The Som Tum Thai (Papaya Salad) was really spicy but delicious. The Kheaw Waan (Green Curry) was not only tasty but very attractive, with its bright colours. All the flavours were so good. We enjoyed every dish! More Thai has been awarded the Thai Select Classic Seal of Approval by the Ministry of Commerce, Thailand. This certifies their food is authentically Thai, with considerably good service, and good value for the money. After dining here, this award is well deserved! Congratulations!
The best Thai food ever had in Toronto, Ying and her co-workers are very nice. You won t be disappointed!
Amazing service and delicious food!
Ying is such a lovely lady. Food is awesome and I strongly recommended anyone who like thai food.
It breaks my heart that this place is not what it used to be! Idk if they changed their cooks or management but something happening and it s not good anymore when previously it was the best Thai place in Mississauga if not entire GTA
Favourite Thai place in the GTA.
Picked up Chicken Pad Thai from More Thai. The food had a delicate balance between sweet, salty and tangy. It was quite filling as they gave a big portion of it. The service was pleasant and the restaurant had a nice cozy ambiance. I do wish that they added some beansprouts to lighten the noodles, and add some freshness and crunchiness to the dish. Addition of some dried shrimp would definitely heighten the umami flavour of this dish. They did give a good amount of chicken and tofu throughout the dish, mixed in with some egg as well. They gave red chilli flakes which is a bonus for those who love spicy food like myself. Overall, More Thai Kitchen is a great option for those looking for a budget-friendly and filling Thai dish. I would love to come back and try their other dishes.
Ordered delivery for pad thai and thai basil fried rice. The pad thai wasnt cooked properly at all and had a weird smell in it, could not eat. The basil thai fried rice was also very average. Overall dissatisfied Edit - the dish is not called thai basil fried rice but pad kra pao (holy basil stir fry)
What an AMAZING experience!!! Truly AUTHENTIC AND DELICIOUS!!! Ying was so nice and the service was fast! Best Thai place in Mississauga hands down. Bravo! We ll be back .. we had the Khoi soi and pad Thai .
This is a very good dining experience.
Absolutely delicious food and very friendly + hospitable service! The beef peneng curry, khao soi, and the Thai iced tea are my absolute faves!
Great food!
Must try!!!! This is hands down my absolute favorite thai restaurant. The food is addictive. The chef absolutely is talented and very good at achieving depth in flavors recreating traditional dishes. Ive eaten here over a dozen times and my only feedback is portion size. Its fair but could be larger. The food is sooooo good that when its gone you get a bit depressed.. and I cant afford a second meal lol they should come up with a mega size and make it 1.5 portions lol for loyal customers that have become so addicted and cant stop haha. Absolutely recommend to try their food. My favorite are the currys, especially the Khao Soi.. also love the tom yum soup and coconut ice cream. Its all just so darn good. This is addictive and the chef/owner has an entertaining and welcoming personality !!!! True gem.
This thang is good as ell boi presentation on point. Im too busy playing sparking 0 to write a funny review sorry.
Amazing authentic Pad Thai highly recommend! The Thai iced tea was also very tasty. We will be coming back to try other menu items. Meat is halal which is great and service was inviting and very friendly.
The food was amazing. We enjoyed our visit here, the owner was very welcoming. The only thing we felt could have been better to increase the overall experience was the service time. Food
The best Thai restaurant Mississauga. Ying was so pleasant and was amazing service.
Ying is very good in service. Great host
We were craving thai food and decided to give this place a try. We went at 5pm so the place was mostly empty which was lovely and quiet. The server was so nice and made sure to check in with us and answer any questions. We ordered tom yum soup, khao soi and Pad kra Pao and they were all so so delicious! Food came out quickly too. We left no crumbs!! Highly recommend. We were told they used to just do takeout but now they have dine in. Atmosphere was very cute too.
Amazing khao soi! Best I ve had in GTA
Gem of a Thai restaurant in Mississauga! I recommend the Pad See-Ew. Very interesting ambiance as well. Food : 5/5
As usual, I forgot to take a picture of the food. Weve been going here since moving to Mississauga two years ago. When we first came here, More Thai was just starting out, and the chef was really passionate about sharing staple dishes and expanding the business. I think theyve been super successful with that! Food has gotten better and better over the years (I swear their flavors have gotten even better) and More Thai definitely the best Thai food in the area. Our favorites are panang curry with medium spice (!!), tom yum pad Thai and pad thai. Were not vegetarians, but the tofu they put in vegetarian dishes are delicious and soak up all the spices and curry. They now have room for dine-in, which we hope to check out soon.
Amazing food. While family loved it.
Cozy place with awesome food. Friendly staff and great Thai flavours.
Amazing food and friendly service. Dietary restrictions: Keto friendly. Food : 5/5 |
We had stir fry rice and soup and both we really good, serving size was good too
Their drunken noodles are probably the best Ive had in the GTA. The wings are delicious too.
This place never disappoints. We made our second trip to More Thai and despite being short-staffed on Labor Day, the restaurant managed to serve our food promptly. The taste and quality of the dishes were exceptional. Our server, Anita, was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Additionally, they serve Halal food. We ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine
Very small portions for the price. Food was good just not the regular Thai food portions and very expensive.
Excellent and flavorful food! Atmosphere and service on point. Definitely a must try!
It s good if you like spicy food.
The food is so good! I always get take out and its my fav in sauga! The padthai has good flavour and the texture is the best! Also the green curry is really nice, with eggplants and other veggies!! The interior also has a gorgeous atmosphere!
Really really, really good Thai food :) and huge portions!
Update 2 years later... they now have a sit down restaurant and it is still consistently good. So happy! ----- Chef Mo (and staff?) consistently hitting it out of the park. We ve tried the majority of items and loved them all. Particular standouts? The Tom Yam-spiced Calamari, the Tom Yam, the Green Curry, the Pad Thai. Mango & Papaya salads were tasty as well. Loved the warm, friendly, and smiley (even behind a mask) interaction picking up our food as well. Thank you.
Best Thai restaurant I ve eaten at in Toronto. Taste is very authentic. Service is really good and the aesthetic is nice!
Frankly, Im happy I just tried one dish because for as long as Ive wanted to try this spot Im pretty disappointed with the pad Thai. Ive tried pad Thai throughout the GTA and for the establishment and cost this was disappointing. It lacked flavour and couldnt even get a hint of tamarind. To boot, the tofu is definitely not fresh. Its been sitting out or its pre cooked and it was just put into my dish because its very dry.
Food was delicious and the server was great. We went on a Sat at like 6pm.
We went there for our team lunch. Food was good, authentic thai food. I am giving 3 stars because the food i ordered was pad kee mao(drunken noodles) which had a strong flavor of bamboo shoot, which i don t like. I would suggest the staffs to mention it clearly on the menu that bamboo shoots are added to the food as i believe not everyone likes the taste and smell and they happen to waste food. I visited couple of thai restaurants before and never seen the bamboo shoots being added to noodles. Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian options/halal available Parking: Parking is behind the restaurant
Highly recommend. Great food, amazing service.
Nice cozy place. Great food and hospitality. Everything tasted amazing.
Tasty authentic Thai food. Good portion serving. Nicest people too.
We really enjoyed this authentic Thai restaurant from the friendliness of the staff (especially Ying ) to the decor and not forgetting the delicious food which was plentiful, no small servings here!!! Can t wait to go again. Food
This was delicious! I m vegetarian, so I got the green curry with tofu, and it was divine! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!
Pleasantly surprised! Great spot for authentic Thai food and it s halal. Thank you Ying and Tan for the great service
Best Thai food in the GTA!
Best Thai foods I have in Toronto!!!! It s real Thai food!!!! They re also very friendly. Highly recommend Food
The stuff behave really bad with customer
So good
LEMME TELL YOU! The food was bombbb! And its halal Ive been dreaming about their Cashew nut chicken and can wait to go back and have it again!! I was honestly not expecting such great food! But i was pleasantly surprised I just feel the portion size of rice is very less but other than that they have my
BEST THAI EVER!
Love this place since they first open as a takeout place, still so good i love their pad ga prao
Amazing food. I love the pad Thai and will be going again! Happy to see a halal Thai place!
If you re looking for authentic Thai tasting dishes, this place is a must-try! Our first visit included Calamari, papaya salad, Phad Thai, Khoi Soi, and the Green curry dish. All delicious and large enough to share. The Thai ice tea is creamy and addictive as is their mango sticky rice.
Food is crazy good. The pad see ew and khao soi was way better than a lot of thai restaurants Ive tried, including Pai, Khao San Road, Chiang Mai, and Sukho Thai lol. Everything came out fresh and piping hot. Both dishes had great texture and flavour ... you can tell it was super authentic. This place never disappoints. Oh, and the Thai Iced Coffee slaps. Writing this review because I never want this place to close down, so please please please support this business!
Awesome!!
The coconut curry broth is the star of this diah. Easily the best Ive had from places within Mississauga. The egg noodles are good. Good amount of chicken within the order. I like the present of the crispy noodles on top. Its a rich and savoury dish, packed with flavour that hits the spot. The two aunties working the front are lovely people. Attentive and kind. Made it a nice dining experience. Would/will come again 8.5/10 Parking: Free parking lot north of restaurant.
Mark my words: One of the best Thai restaurants in Canada.
Delicious, authentic Thai food. Service was excellent and quick. I will definitely be going back soon.
The food is very tasty, we tried few times different items and all arr good my favorite is khao soi and mango rice
Everything about this Restaurant is wonderful!
Went with my friend, absolutely phenomenal pad thai. One of the best thai restaurants in the gta I have been to. Great taste, great portions, and certainly great on not skimping on protien. I look forward to coming back and trying their other dishes.
The food was fantastic. I went with my best friend and was thoroughly surprised. I got the Khao Soi, and my friend got the Pad thai. The restaurant did not skimp out with proteins or serving size! Food was great! Complex with a delicious blend of spices and flavors. I will be coming back and I recommend you do to! A real Gem in the bustling city! I got the thai iced green tea as well, which was sweet with an undertone of Jasmin. Its less sweet than the regular iced tea which is good but much sweeter. Do come here! (We both got the lunch special with spring 2 spring roles each they were also great!)
the lady serving us was so sweet and attentive to us, food was fantastic and the portions were huge considering how fair the price was :) The place is well decorated too and had a great ambience! Food
We got a take out order with pretty much everyone on the menu. The food was excellent, especially Pad Ga Prao, Khao Soi and both versions of Pad Thai. Halal options.
Tried More Thai Kitchen a few days back for the first time. It s a nice cosy place with great food and wonderful service. Tom Yum Soup, Green Curry and Khao Soi were delicious. We also found price point very reasonable as compared to similar quality Thai food in the other restaurants. It s a good addition to our list of Thai restaurants.
This is a great place for delicious Thai food. Anything you choose from the menu is good. Their prices are quantity of food is reasonable. We ordered take out but the ambiance was unique & traditional with an element of fusion to it.
Hands down best thai food in Mississauga
Got the chicken khao soi. So good. Really good Thai restaurant, friendly servers, quick service, and delicious food. Would eat here again
I have yet to dine at this place, but I ve ordered for pickup 3 times, and I must say it s literally the best authentic Thai food in the area. I fell in love with their Khao Soi and Pad Kra Pao delicious! Their iced Thai coffee, calamari, and mango stickt rice are also amazing. I just wish their mango sticky rice had bigger serving. Exceptional customer service. They made a mistake with the size of my drink the last time I ordered, so they gave me the regular size for free and remade my large drink. Honestly, just amazing. I cannot wait to come back and dine in with my family!
I ve ordered from this restaurant through Uber eats once, and now I decided to checkout the actual location. This time it was for a takeout. The food is absolutely amazing., the flavour I consider, the best Thai food I have tried in Mississauga. How the waitress received us, dressed in authentic Thai attire, made us feel very welcome, she super nice and preparing the food was very fast, I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for my intre order. Very highly recommended
Rating is aimed at the specific orders made and the service. Disclaimer, havent had many Thai dishes to compare. Khao Soi, Pad Gaprao, Deep-fried calamari are all solid choices. Flavours are well refined and balanced. Nothing is overpowering others: curry isnt too creamy, the gaprao is not too salty. They marinate the squid in lemon juice so its tangy, which works to cut down the fattiness of the crispy breading.
***** UPDATE - 06/20/2024: I finally dined in at More Thai yesterday (June 19th) and I loved seeing how this restaurant has evolved in the past few years. The renovations look great and of course the food and service was fantastic as always! I even finally got a lime wedge with my Chef Mos Tom Yum Pad Thai! :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *****UPDATE - 03/22/2024: Effective Dec. 6th, 2023 as per their Instagram, More Thai Kitchen (formerly Mo Thai) is now available for dine in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ By far my favourite Thai take-out restaurant for authentic Pad Thai! I first tried Mo Thai back in Summer 2021 and have ordered Chef Mos Pad Thai; Chef Mos Tom Yum Pad Thai; Thai iced tea; Thai calamari; khao soi; zaab chicken wings; Thai iced tea and Thai iced green tea throughout the past 2 years via take-out or Uber Eats delivery. With inflation going up, the prices are still reasonable based on the plentiful portions you get if ordered for 1 person/per person. Mo Thai also offers Halal, catering and vegetarian options. Quality of food is always fresh and filling though I do recommend to eat it right away when ordering take-out. Service is always quick and friendly but keep in mind this restaurant is strictly take-out only; theres not much seating for in person dining. My absolute favourites are the Thai calamari, regular Pad Thai and the unique Tom Yum inspired Pad Thai. These dishes are packed with the perfect balance of a sweet and tangy flavour from tamarind and other Thai herbs/spices. I do wish they would provide a lime wedge for the Pad Thai but other than that, I highly would recommend! Dietary restrictions: Halal and vegetarian options are available.
Very rude manager who was curt and did not respond to questions asked her to cancel my reservation and she said I don t care
Great place for Thai Food. The dining place is a bit tiny but comfortable. If only the owner could change the door opening style so that every time the door opens you are hit with the cold wind from outside. Especially since a lot of take out orders are placed and people come constantly to pick the orders. If you want to experience Thai Food this is a great place to go to. Service is good. Make an appointment to avoid disappointment. Parking: 3085 Highway 10, just 5 minutes from Square One.
their thai tea tasted so good feel like you in thailand
Amazing amazing amazing. Been multiple times and will continue to go!
Ive been craving Thai food and I discovered this place when I happened to be walking by. We ordered Thai iced tea, More pad thai, green curry, and roti pancake for dessert all were so delicious!!! I highly recommend this restaurant :) The ambiance and decor is cute and unique. One thing is that theres a lot of people coming and going for pickup/delivery orders and it takes away from the vibe a little bit, but not so much that I wouldnt come back here.
Ordered the Khao Soi and Pad Thai for dine in, we were extremely happy with our experience. Very fair pricing for high quality and honest portioned dishes. Both dishes had lots of flavour and were made with delicious and fresh ingredients. Will note that the Khao Soi is on the spicer end of the scale for the average person so be mindful with ordering this dish.
I appreciate that they increased the portion sizes but kept the same amazing food. Vegetarian options: Tofu and eggless options for most dishes Parking: Lot nearby, but often full. Another lot is available but a bit further.
Would be nice to have non-halal chicken option
Good place for halal Thai
Good portion size and great food.
Please try this restaurant truly authentic Thai and just amazing taste and ambience and nice people
You have to get the Tom yum pad Thai! Not many Thai food places do this unique dish and Mo Thai does it the best. So yummy and it s delicious every time I get it.
Great service and good food. Amazing mango sticky rice. Nice and cozy restaurant.
Enjoyable Thai food that hits the flavor balance needed for thai food. Ordered this for take out on Uber eats so can t comment on ambiance but the resto does look good. Our local Mississaugian friend told us this spots been open for many years so we figured we would give it a try. Food: wings zaab - first impression was the wings were very breaded, seemed a little underseasoned but I don t believe they were tossed properly because the wings at the bottom were very flavorful. If they tossed it and made sure all pieces were seasoned before serving/placing in the take out box: it would have made this one better Panaang curry - super flavorful, rich, good balance of flavors Chef Mo pad thai - also really good and yummy, nothing was underseasoned and everything met expectations Mango sticky rice - not too sweet? Decent portion size especially if you don t have a sweet tooth Pad kra pao - stir fry minced meats in holy basil over rice and a fried egg on top - yummy. Pad gra pao- delicious, like the others came with excellent wok hay Tom yum soup - also yummy. This one had a slight kick to it at the beginning but simmered down at the end. The take out method included chilli flakes, white vinegar and sugar on the side. We weren t sure what to do with it so I had called the restaurant to inquire and they were very helpful. Use case is to put on the pad see ew or pad thai depending on if you wanted it to change up the flavor profile of the dishes. Overall great experience for take out and would definitely order again.
The best Thai food i ve ever had! Authentic and full of flavours
Quality ingredients (hard to find), tons of flavour. Great service. Definitely my new Thai food restaurant
Best place for Isaan-Thai dishes in Mississauga, in addition to traditional Thai dishes. The khao soi and Isaan-style som tum were
Quality has gone down. Prices gone up. Very little use of herbs. Pay extra for vegetables and get the bare minimum. Used to be our favourite. We will be supporting another restaurant. Update: 4/11/2024 Ordered chef Mo pad Thai, hardly any herbs and it tastes like there was a ton of sugar on the noodles. Ive had to decrease the rating.
I have dined in many times and every time - it s great! Consistency in flavors and fast service. The Pad Thai is yummy - not too sweet/wet. Green curry is my personal fav, huge portion and lots of veggies. Thai tea is also good but I prefer less sweet. Chicken wings - perfectly crispy and not heavily breaded. I will continue to dine and support this restaurant
The food was excellent and above my expectations. The best part is that the folks in the kitchen are Thai chefs who know the local taste of Thai food. Therefore, the taste, flavours, ingredients and presentation was as good as what I have eaten and experienced in Bangkok. By far one of the best Thai food restaurants in the GTA. Must must must visit!
Food was good however I asked the lady if khai soi was spicy and she said it wasnt but it was spicy ...I couldnt eat it unfortunately But the pad see ew was delicious Food
Solid joint - done only take out, but everything we tried was awesome. Khao soi was my favourite.
This is hands down the best Thai food in sauga! The iced tea makes you feel like you re on vacation. It s halal and they have beef options. Only note is that they were busy with takeout orders and there was only one waitress. Service was still fast so it s a must try!
Mo and her work family are terrific. They really know how to make an event special. I called to schedule a triple birthday dinner on a Sunday. They were more than accommodating for our group of 12. The table was set when we arrived. Some guests were a few minutes late, but they handed out menus and answered any questions we had as well as asking how we would like the bill divided. Not many restaurants do this for group parties. They offer vegan, dairy free and gluten free options on their menu. The meals not only looked mouth watering and smelled amazing, they definitely tasted delicious! The chefs were Thai chefs specializing in this cuisine. You could tell the entire Mo team were very proud of their culinary offerings. The team was proud to serve and explain the Thai experience. We brought cakes to celebrate the event and after we sang happy birthday, Mo and her team came out with their homemade dairy free ice cream and sticky rice tray of dessert and also sang happy birthday. They also video recorded the singing of happy birthday and offered to send us the video. We thought that was so thoughtful and special. Truly this was a great experience and one which we will remember for many years to come. Thank you Mo We highly recommend More Thai Kitchen.
One of the best thai restaurant around
Best Thai food in Brampton/Mississauga! Their Khao Soi is their highlight!!
I really enjoyed this hidden gem located in a little plaza on Hurontario in Mississauga! Their servings were great for sharing but our favourite was their calamari! The breading was so flavourful and complex on its own while the squid was soft and tender. I also loved their Khao Soi, it was so flavourful and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I will definitely be coming back here!
A hidden gem that you can t miss, everything was amazing from the khao soi to the pad Thai noodles and Tom Yum soup. My favourite were the wings and calamari, i love the seasoning, it made these dishes delicious. Also service was fast, they served our food quickly despite a lot of delivery orders coming in. They even gave my mom free homemade ice cream since it was her birthday. Would highly recommend!!
Loved Mo Thai! The food is authentic, delicious and full of flavour. Dine inside if you can instead of getting take out so the taste is freshest. Our server was so welcoming and our food was served quickly (went on a weekday afternoon so it was not as busy). The place is quite cozy, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely get the calamari (it was one of the best I ve had), and try their khao soi, pad see ew or pad thai. Their homemade coconut ice cream was also a nice surprise - perfect amount of sweetness! Will visit again soon. Dietary restrictions: Halal
Had the Khao Soi with tofu and a Thai iced tea, all the food was delicious and flavourful and came to the table really quick!
The food is 10/10! Highly recommend their khao suey
I stopped in here to pick up dinner on a weekend. And overall the experience was good. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly. Order took 25 minutes and we had the pad Thai and the Khao Soi. I love Khao Soi and I just say the Khao Soi here was nothing to write home about; I prefer that at Khao san road or pai. The pad Thai though was very good and we were impressed. If you live near hear I would recommend it as a regular spot but not necessarily worth driving out to.
Amazing food and flavour! Would recommend everything we got: Khao Soi, Pad Thai and Calamari. The waitress was also very kind! Parking: Some parking is marked for tenants so ensure you park in correct location!
Went here with my fiancé on a date night and I loved it! We walked in and immediately were seated around 7pm on a Friday night. The staff were so nice! They helped us pick what we wanted since it was our first time and were curious on what their favourites were. They were so nice! The food was amazing! I cannot wait to go back. We ordered Pad Thai and the Khao Soi. The flavours were so pungent and powerful! I love their Pad Thai because they dont just cover the entire dish with bean sprouts with a side of noodles - the portions were correct! Khao Soi was unbelievably powerful in flavours and all textures were correct. The surprise of the night was actually their Thai Iced Tea. Im usually very pick with Thai Iced Tea because sometimes people put way too much condensed milk but this place, WOW first time Ive had it where it wasnt too sweet and I could actually taste the tea. If Im ever in the area again, Im definitely getting a Thai Iced Tea to-go. Will be revisiting when I hit that Thai craving again.
Mo Thai makes the best Pad Thai in Mississauga. Ive also tried their Wings Zaab, which was delicious, although the portion is lacking for the amount you get. Additionally, their Pad See Ew is really yummy.
Just amazing food. The ingredients used are genuine and the taste powers through for a delicious meal. By far the best Thai restaurant in Toronto. Highly recommend!
Amazing food and amazing service, will def be back here!!
Best Thai food I ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. I m still dreaming about it.
Excellent pad Thai & khao soi. Will return for more items to try. Please bring beef khao soi
Best Thai in the city.
Authentic thai food, loved it!
We love the food here ... Everything was delicious, we ordered the tom yum noodle soup , chefs special pad Thai and pad see ew. service was great , good portion size.. the only reason I gave 4 stars Is because the appetizers that we ordered were not as fresh and flavorful as we had expected Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options available Parking: Enough parking available for free
Appetizing presentation, friendly service great taste of food. It was worth it to try. We brought the left over penang curry and I was able to re used the sauce and made some chicken curry at home. Thanks more thai
Food was amazing! Has vegetarian options
Excellent Thai! Ordered pad thai, khao soi and mango salad. All delicious. Pad Thai had lots of chicken and tofu, flavouring was dead on. Not too sweet nor syrupy. Khao soi was perfect. We did takeout and the noodles were slightly chewy as it should be. Mango salad was fresh and seasoned well. (Apologies for lack of photo. I was too hungry)
My favourite Thai restaurant outside of Thailand. TomYum Kung and pad Thai is my favourite!!! See you soon I need More Thai Kitchen ;)
One of THE best Thai places I have ever visited. Delicious food. Decent serving size.
Soup is tasty. Always order from them. But this time they decided to pack 5 of them on a top of each other. And it s squash each other. Half of my order sitting in a plastic bag, not it s containers.
Nice cozy spot, amazing Pad Thai imo.
Finally Halal Thai in the west end that I enjoyed! The Pad Thai was great but the fried calamari was the winner for me. We also tried green curry and the fried rice which were good. The Thai iced tea was also really good. Great portion size, hope to come again to try the mango sticky rice (it was not available when we went).
I ordered from them before and I liked their food, so I decided to try again. I guess they had to raise their prices in this day and age, but I was hoping with $20 to get a little bit more pad thai and to not be greeted by a strand of hair that s not mine anyway, I m not as picky and won t be lowering the rating too much because of that, but I can t hide my disappointment because this is definitely one of the better Thai restaurants in Mississauga, and I had expected MORE.
Very underrated spot for 5 stars Thai food.
Ordered the Thai chicken green curry dish and there were more ginger pieces than actual chicken. This is laughable compared to other Thai restaurants who aren t stingy on the amount of meat. Total rip off. You re better off saving your money and going elsewhere.
A little less interesting each time we ve ordered from there over the last few years.
First time visiting and had only one dish, but it was good. Will visit again. Good atmosphere and good service.
Food is fantastic - best Thai food I ve eaten in a western country. Service was very nice and friendly, staff recommended dishes when asked. Location and size of location is odd but part of its charm. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes generous. Definitely try the Thai ice tea and green ice tea. Vegetarian options: Vegan options Dietary restrictions: Halal Parking: Free parking behind the building.
Good food choice and very tasty. Reasonable price
the food is extremely flavourful and good sized portions as well
After Thai Pepper closed in Brampton and not too many authentic Thai places around me, I am so happy that More Thai Kitchen was around. The service was pretty good, it wasnt super busy but the one server there was did not slack off. She was really attentive, always had our water refills, and was super friendly and polite. And my god, everything we got was amazing! The Tom Yum, Pad Thai, and Khao Soi were highlighted in the menu, and I can see why. The Tom Yum was so citrusy, aromatic, spicy, and the shrimp was super meaty. The Khao Soi had good chunks of chicken, a nice bite from the greens and crispy noodles, and the sauce was so luscious and divine. And the Pad Thai was real balanced in flavour, just amazing. I am definitely coming back because this is not just the best Thai food, but some of the best FOOD Ive had in Brampton/Sauga
They falsely advertise as being a halal restaurant when in fact, they serve pork belly and also serve halal chicken. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find this after arriving at the restaurant. It was busy but the lady at the front counter was not friendly nor did she take any initiative to speak to us before we decided to leave after discovering the pork belly on the menu.
I am having mixed feelings about the food from More Thai Kitchen. Its our first time trying this restaurant. We ordered in the Tom Yum Soup with shrimp and Mo Thai Fried Rice Khao Pad with shrimp and chicken. While I really enjoyed the soup, it was packed with flavors, the fried rice was a bit under cooked and really bland. Almost like they might have forgotten to put salt or seasoning. I was expecting the rice to be really good since I thought its their house special item. Could be a one time thing but it was a bit disappointing. The quantity of both the items compared to the price was kind of small. Maybe I will have to give this place one more try.
Best Thai food in Mississauga. Service is a bit slow and counter attendant seems overwhelmed with amount of orders. But it s totally worth it. I wish they had tom kha as well!
Small Thai restaurant with great and authentic Thai flavors. Love it
We came all the way from Pickering and and food was absolutely beyond the expactation and so tasty. I would defneatly recomended and you will never regret for sure. Food
The best Tom Yum soup I ve ever had!! So tasty and fresh veggies. Good amount of chicken or shrimp. The Pad Thai was absolutely delicious. Discovered it on Mississauga News on instagram. I can t get enough of Mo Thai . Food is always fresh and well made.. perfect packaging for takeout and delivery. Strongly recommend it. They never disappoint!!
Ordered through their website. Had shrimp pad thai, pad kra pow with beef and chicken khao soi. Everything was super flavourful and tasty. Very authentic tasting! Ample portion sizes.
I ordered from this restaurant after missing a connection and had to stay at a hotel for a night. The Tom Yum Soup I ordered was soooo delicious. OMG! The pad Thai my partner ordered, was really good as well. However, the calamari breading was soggy and there was no dipping sauce. Get the soup!
Khao Soi was the best dish from what we ordered, thats what Id recommend to get!
A friend picked up takeout last night. The green curry chicken brought me back to my first trip to Thailand. Authentic, delicious, fresh ingredients. The Penang beef curry was just as delicious. Pad thai was special as well. Not too sweet and very authentic. The mango salad was a little on the sweet side but still very good. There are so many pretenders when it comes to Thai restaurants. As a foodie and frequent visitor to Thailand, Ill tell you this spot is the real deal. I absolutely recommend and will be returning soon myself.
Very nice and very helpful and good foods
Flavorful traditional Thai food. One of my favorite places for take-out.
Just need more penuts.
Packaging was a but shoddy, but the Calamari are to die for. My sister is vegan and she says she really loved the vegan green curry, as well.
Good green curry ... next time I would like to see more protein
Discovered this gem randomly as I was searching for Halal places and was extremely pleased with the experience. It s a clean cozy spot with amazing Thai food and friendly service. We tried the Tom Yum Pad Thai with Chicken and Khao Soi with chicken. Both were delicious in their own right. The flavors in the Khao Soi were fantastic and the portion sizes were generous. Paid $40 including tip. Dietary restrictions: Fully Halal
I recently ordered take-out dinner from Mo Thai, and it was so good! The green curry with shrimp and chicken was delicious. The flavors were incredibly authentic, and the blend of spices was just perfect. The shrimp and chicken were tender and flavourful. The portion size was decent, providing a satisfying meal. The ordering process was smooth, and the packaging ensured that the food stayed fresh and hot upon arrival. Mo Thai has definitely become my go-to spot for delicious Thai take-out in Mississauga. I highly recommend trying their green curry you wont be disappointed!
Great food. I got the pad se ew, I always have a hard time finding authentic Thai food and they hit the nail on the head. I asked for a lime wedge even though it doesn t come with the dish, and they gave me a wrapped lime half, so 10/10 on my opinion. It s not a fancy spot to sit but it s perfectly good to sit and eat
The food is delicious, the service is very good , the dine-in area could have some improvement but it is one of the most delicious Thai food ever tried.
Last two orders haven t been good - used to be our goto. Same with its sister restaurant on the Danforth. This order had salty and inconsistently seasoned Tom yum pad Thai, noodles were not fresh tasting. Terrible quality boba in the iced tea which was poorly mixed as well.
Ive tried a lot of Thai food around the GTA, but the best comes out of this charming hole in the wall by Chef Mo. Everything is always flavourful, fresh, and plentiful - also very accommodating with special instructions. I brought this place to my coworkers attention and now we order it every second week for lunch. It has become a staple in my household, and definitely our go-to when were feeling homesick for southeast Asian cuisine. Every item on the menu is fantastic and you cannot go wrong. Highly recommend this spot, and really hope more people give it a try. Will not disappoint you.
Amazing Pad Thai !
The pad Thai was pretty good. The Thai tea was delicious but the boba was overly soft in texture. I spent around $86 for 3 pad Thai and one Thai tea.
This is our new favourite place for Thai food. They mostly cater to take-out, but there are a few tables if youd prefer to eat-in. Your food will still come in take-out containers, but youll get a fancy row of condiments. The fried rice was quite bland, not bad but the flavours just didnt stand out. But the Khao Soi is the best weve ever had from any restaurant, and easily beats Pai. So flavourful, we were sorely tempted to order another one as soon as wed finished the first. Tom Yum Pad Thai is a great twist on a classic dish. If going over lunch on a weekday, the lunch special (main + soda + spring rolls) is a great offer. Parking is easy (and free). Were definitely going to visit again (weve been twice now, ordering multiple dishes each time) and work our way through the menu. Vegetarian options: Most dishes have a tofu or vegetable option, and theyll make them without egg if you like.
Consistently increasing prices with decreasing quality. It used to be amazing $16.50 each for fried rice and pad thai and now its $19.95 for each. $45 for just 2 items which is not even a fancy restaurant. Ridiculous! Even more frustrating part is their prices are all different all over the place- $19.25 in store, $18.95 on uber/skip and $17.95 on website. What the heck is this?
I was not aware that they open at 11:30 and went there at 11:15 because I was rushing for my bus. Despite that, they were extremely quick, kind, and accommodating. They made my meal (pad Thai and Thai iced green tea) in under 10 mins, which gave me lots of time to make it to my bus. I will not make that mistake and visit the restaurant when they actually open LMAO. I feel bad that I only knew the day after! I really liked my pad Thai and the portion was nice. The drink was quite unique- i haven t had iced green tea in that style. Would drink again or get the iced tea next time. The inside is very bare, but since I got take out, I m not sure how it ll be like when eating inside.
We came here to grab a quick bite and we were really impressed with the quality of food. The service was very fast and the staff were friendly. The food was amazing for the price and definitely filled us all up! Their chefs definitely know what s they re doing and I can t wait to come back!
authentic thai milk tea, creamy, not sweet like sugar. these ladies are so friendly and helpful, small take out but very warm welcoming.
ordered last week and got shrimp pad thai, terrible decision. the shrimp was not prepared properly so i got food poisoning but my friends who ordered the same thing didnt. the shrimp i ordered came with the black line along its back which is why i vomited a couple times. my friends were fine because their shrimp was prepared properly. this place needs to be inspected again because for being a bit pricey youd expect good quality food.
Take out used to be good, today taste so sweet like you are drinking a bottle of honey, not worthy
The best Thai food I have had in Canada!! I highly recommend! You definitely wont regret it.
Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: Yes Parking: 200+ Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
The food was amazing..We ordered Panang curry, Pad See Ew and the green mango salad. All were superb. I like how the hostess was so accomodating and warm. We were totally impressed with how the food was prepared and the authenticity of the Thai food. Will definitely come back or order online.
We love this place. This is our go to Thai takeout place now.
Truly a hidden gem on 5n10, authentic Thai street foods and cuisine with some of their own innovations as well! I ve tried almost everything, and I took my date there and she loved it even more! No point of recommending dishes because they re all really good, you won t be disappointed! Oh and the green iced tea is way too addictive and delicious!
Not my first choice for Thai food but I was in the area and this was the only decent Thai restaurant I could find on Google. Ok, I ordered from here before when they were fairly new back in 2021 and they messed up my order, which left such a terrible first impression that I only came back now near the end of 2023 LOL! I remembered I ordered a fried rice and pad thai and I got two fried rice instead. I understand mistakes happen but I tried to call to explain the situation and they NEVER PICKED UP THEIR PHONE! I had to place another online order and my hubby went to pick it up (coming from Brampton too) and they couldn t even offer a refund, just a free drink. Anyway, that was my first experience in 2021. Today I decided to give an other chance while on the road and ordered a pad Thai lunch special and Tom yum soup. Everything seemed to be going well until I got back in my car ready to eat and noticed.. NO UTENSILS OR NAPKINS! How am I supposed to eat my take out order without either of these?? Parking kinda sucked today too because I had to park in the back and walk through the plaza and ain t no way I am doing that walk again for some utensils that should ve been there in the first place I finally got home after errands to eat and the food was decent, better than the first time where the noodles were soggy and kept breaking apart. Portions were great but still I find the prices STEEP. Almost $50 for a chicken pad Thai lunch special with Thai iced tea and Tom yum soup. Not worth it with service that seems to forget simple things .. maybe I m just unlucky here but most likely won t be back for a long time again lmao
Alway amazing service when you call in your order .my favorite Thai place absolutely delicious .pad sew ew is phenomenal!
Just had the pad thai here and it was DELICIOUS! The restaurant was also really nicely decorated, and Anita who cashed me out was super friendly. Recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone wanting some yummy Thai sit-in or takeout food!
Ordered take out green chicken curry green tofu curry and calamari rings. Spicy food was fantastic
Tom Yum is one of my favourite here. You will find an authentic Thai food. Basil Chicken Rice was also delicious. Parking: Hard to find a place to park. Very limited during the rush hours
Just ordered take out from here and it was delicious! Had the pad Thai and the Khao Soi - both amazing! Definitely a top Thai spot for me!
Sensational delivery as always
I like the food and I got it from Uber eats I would say they did a good job on taste of food but it s was expensive.
