Wok-fired Asian street food. Noodlebox’s bold dishes start with premium ingredients, because we believe real food is always at the heart of great food. Every meal is made to order and highly customizable, providing easy options for gluten friendly & vegan diets. Real food, made fresh, with fire.
Waited 35 minutes for the worst tasting takeout I’ve ever had. It was billed as a fried chicken dish but I was hard pressed to find more than 4 mini bite sizes pieces of soggy breaded meat. The noodles had zero flavour and there was a noticeable absence of vegetables. The extremely slow service and terrible food ensured that I will not return.
This was my second time ordering from Noodlebox, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment compared to my first experience. During my initial visit, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it was their opening week and I ordered through Skipthedishes, everything arrived exactly as ordered, and the flavors were great. This time, however, I was disappointed. The spicy peanut noodles lacked any spice, and the sauce tasted as though it hadn’t been properly simmered—more like it was just thrown together. The kung pao was even worse; I had to add my own sauces at home to make it palatable, and the medium heat level was barely noticeable. The biggest letdown was the bubble tea I ordered while waiting. The tapioca pearls were undercooked and hard—not at all how they should be. When I brought it up, the staff simply said, “Thanks for letting us know,” without offering to replace it or provide a refund. As I’m writing this review I notice it has been mentioned several times how the tapioca isn’t properly cooked. Overall, this experience really overshadowed the positive impression I had the first time, and I’m not sure I’ll return. (Attaching picture of clump of tapioca pearls).
Stopped in for lunch around 11:30 on a Thursday. When I got there, there were only a couple orders ahead of me, I placed my order (drunken noodles with crispy chicken, hot - total with a 10% tip = ~$20) and waited about 5 - 10 mins before it was ready. The restaurant was clean, well decorated, and the staff was very friendly, helping people to order who needed some pointers. Overall 4/5 only because I did find the price a little high, even though the portion was satisfactory, it still seemed a bit much for what it is. Though things being overpriced is pretty normal for Moncton these days.
Hello! I wanted to share some feedback about my recent visit. The interior and service were wonderful, and I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. However, I felt a bit disappointed with the Pad Thai. It seemed like it might have been made by someone not entirely familiar with oriental dishes. I ordered it medium spicy, but it wasn’t spicy at all, and the noodles were quite sticky. The dish also lacked saltiness. The bowl it was served in was a bit difficult to eat from—perhaps a wider plate would make it easier to enjoy. Additionally, if the protein toppings were placed on top, it would not only look more appealing but also make it easier to mix and eat. Thank you for considering this feedback, and I look forward to visiting again!
The last picture is when I came home and added some of my leftover roasted broccoli to it. I realize it is still new to Monctonian’s and therefore making this a busy place for the moment so I can see them rationing the veggies. I had 1 piece of broccoli 2 slivers of red pepper and one thin slice of carrot in my noodles and sprouts. 40 min wait after ordering and not worth the $18.34 I spent tax in for Cambodian jungle bowl with no protein. Lacking in my opinion
I am so disappointed, I ordered Milk tea, Taro tea, Beef ginger with rice, Teriyaki crispy chicken, and Pad Thai prawn. Milk tea is ok, but boba is very old, not good texture. And Taro tea is like a slammy, I cannot drink it. For food, Beef ginger with rice, rice a little bit hard, and the bad thing is, Teriyaki and Pat Thai, both noodles are not cooked well. It's still hard, I have to ask for a box and bring them back to cook more. For me it's not real food because I cannot eat it.
We recently visited the newly opened Noodlebox. As an Asian food enthusiasts, we were excited to try it, but unfortunately, the flavors didn’t meet our expectations. We ordered the Teriyaki Box with crispy chicken and the Spicy Peanut Noodlebox, but the chicken was soggy rather than crispy, and the broccoli wasn’t even blanched – it was completely raw. The Taro milk tea was also disappointing, as the boba was only half-cooked. Overall, while the restaurant’s interior and exterior are nicely designed, the food quality was just okay.
today was the opening day and they were very busy, the greeter lady at the door was the bomb. com - she spent time going over menu details while managing the line up, she made sure everyone was greeted and had amazing line management skills! and massive show out to the cooks, I know they were super busy and going as fast as they could! they worked all so well as a team. really loved seeing that. the food was DELICIOUS, absolutely amazing food. very fresh and flavourful. lots of options and also a place with boba, yeah put that in the books as my new fav restaurant! amazing experience, highly recommend 💓✨
Fresh and delicious.
Disappointed with the flavours. I asked for hot and was told that hot will really hurt and so I said ok then make it medium, what I got was barely mild and little flavour. I ended up throwing it all in a wok and adding soya sauce, fish sauce, garlic and green chillies for some flavour. It s not cheap and quantity is just barely enough for one.
Love the hours of operations, I always try something different every time and so far I ve enjoyed all the dishes. This is a new location with new staff and it s normal to have some minor mistakes happen with orders, this will usually correct itself when staff gets more experience. To me that s not a reason to impact my review. So far so good and now with their Tuesday promotion, thing s got even better!
Best noodles in the city! Lots of choices, our favorite is spicy peanut! 6 levels of heat, Ive had level 6 and for a guy who loves hot food its almost too hot but delicious, I made the decision to step back to heat level 5 lol. This is our 4th visit so far to our new favorite restaurant and the price is excellent!
If you happen to be in the area and extremely hungry then this would be a good place to eat. The portion is large and they do put good variety of veggies in their noodles. I won t make an effort to go there to. The taste is very basic, yes it s real fire wok cooking per order but all their meat has been pre cooked and added on later. Which leave them tasteless, not very fresh and rubbery. It wasn t pleasant. We ordered beef with Pad Thai and chicken with the Kungpao Noodle. We really didn t like the meat in our bowl. But the noodle itself its good, if I ever go again I will just order the noodle base. As for the atmosphere, the style dark gray and Red do not fit the big store well. Especially after dark but it was fresh looking. It s not a style for its size. My personal opinion is that this is not really a sit down to eat restaurant, its better if its just a small shop and offer great take out. The price is awkward, its not really suit its quality and presentation. For the same price I would prefer to go to our local Asian place for fried noodles. Especially their meat are all freshly cooked with the noodles.
We all enjoyed their food so much. The flavors are wonderful and great service. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options just a matter of your selections. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed. Not sure if theres a kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.
The meal was well presented but way way too salty.i said that to the cashier and she just replied that it was the sauce and that s it. The waitress Shweta came to ask us how the meal was but i tell the truth and it was almost impossible for me with my hypertension to eat that. She tried to fix it by asking to the kitchen to remake our food with less sauce to see. It was better than the first one. Very nice from her. The meal was good but the salty ingredient mess everything up. Hope they will find a solution for the future.
Love it . Staffs are friendly. I got pad thai and its great! Will come back for next time Food : 5/5
Pretty good. Would come back, scorching hot is very very hot
I send a email. And never answer back. What a waste of time. I really love noodles. But not this.. taste less But people are so kind. :)
Good food, good service, staff was nice!!
Ordered the Butter Chicken and the Teriyaki Bowl, both were phenomenal in flavour and amount!
Good food :) very very clean space and such a nice and welcoming staff :) we ve been served by Swheta lovely girl! Thanks
Today i tried noodlebox for the first time and its amazing. And Shweta the lady who served me was very pleasent and nice. I will definitely come here again very soon.
Today was my first time at the NoodleBox in Moncton. The service by Shweta was excellent and the chicken teriyaki was the best I had in a long time...dont think Ill be going anywhere else. I just wish they would open a restaurant in Dieppe.
Crispy Shanghai chicken box instead of rice we choose hokkien noodles. Delicious. Fresh food and received hot and yummy. They didn t ask us the spice level we wanted but lesson learnt because it was HOT and spicy: we will return
First visit to noodlebox. We are huge fans of noodles so were excited to try. We ordered spring rolls, coconut prawns and Bombay cheese balls as appetizers. We were missing one cheese ball, which was the best app of the 3. For mains we had fried rice, pad thai and Cambodian jungle. The portion sizes varied greatly even though the price points were similar. The Cambodian jungle had the best flavour of the 3 but was just OK. The noodle to meat/veggie ratio was off. The pad thai sauce just isnt good. The fried rice was meh. Let down for an $85 meal and no plan to return. There are so many better noodle options in moncton.
0 customer service. Dont know how to treat with customers. Bullshit Food : 1/5
1hr for the order, staff overwhelmed and rude, flavourless, meat was not good, veggies ok. Lacked of spiciness. Best to spend an extra 10-15$ and cross the road at Oriens.
The food was not tasty and the portion wasnt as i was excpecting (only 3 pices of chicken)
Great food. They fixed their initial issues and I have zero complaints. Great food.
Wait 6 months and let them iron out the kinks. Went with 4 in our group. One person was served three times. The first time he was served someone elses order. He was fine with the second bowl but was then delivered a huge dine in bowl because they felt they prepared it wrong. One person ended up with a wrong order. One person didnt like what was served. One person never got an order. Dont expect for everyone to have their food at the same time. Huge discrepancy between the portion sizes served to the three people that received orders. One person asked for their money back and received it due to wrong order. The second person who had paid for two orders received half their money back, for not receiving their order. They did offer to make something else for the person who didnt enjoy what he was having, which was denied due to the hour wait. They were trying hard and obviously swamped with orders. Everyone in the party chose dine in but were served in take out dishes varying in size... except the extra plate served to the person who received three orders. It was an hour wait. Absolute chaotic mess. Did not rate food, because I never actually was given any. A number system would be better than the name system they are using. They admitted to having 5 people with the same name which led to mass confusion and wrong orders given to many people. Or, they should provide receipts for comparison when they call your name. No receipt given or offered. Edit... Kinda disappointed with the cookie cutter responses to each review as well.... Came back to look at others feedback.
Wait was long (as expected), but the food was delicious!
Friendy and knowledgeable staff, accommodating to food allergies. Great experience, we will be back.
Our first time at Noodlebox and we love the food. My bf had the Teriyaki and I had the Crispy Shanghai chicken Box. Great food and friendly knowledgeable staff!
A friend and I tried Noodlebox last night. I ordered the Pad thai with mild spice (I told the cashier that I cannot handle any spice which is why i made sur to pick from the dishes that did not have a flame beside it). An older woman brought me my bowl first, i took a bite and it was SUPER SPICY! I checked my receipt and it said mild. My friend tasted my dish and she said it was really spicy. Her food arrives and I tell the woman that my dish was spicy and that I can t eat that, she looked at my receipt and went on to explain that they didn t add anything to the dish in the kitchen if it was mild and left. I tasted my friend s dish which was supposed to be medium spicy and it was not spicy at all. Thankfully my friend agreed to switch but I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth about the service. Her lips were still burning from the spice in my dish 15min after we left. Errors happen, I totally get that especially at a new place. But not helping with a problem and just walking away? Unacceptable.
Had Singapore cashew with char siu, hot. It was not super spicy will order spicier next time while i still can, as-is just enough heat to keep a nice flavor in the dish felt like medium, they might have unfortunately listened to the complaints from non ethnic food eaters. Please don t white out the menu, it s already toned down more than necessary. Note to all reviewers saying the food is too spicy, that is a YOU problem, don t ruin places that make non boring food that you already know you don t enjoy, stay home, flavour is not spice, stick to mashed potatoes at the local diner. This dish had similar flavours to what i ate in KL; however still confused why it s malay style but named Singapore? I will agree with the other review saying boba was a little underdone, it was noticeable in the first drinks but not enough to ruin good milk tea. Easy adjustment. Cup size good for the price Dessert spring roll with nanaimo filling was delicious. Good small item, very reasonable price, will get 2 next time. Packaging for take out was nice, good quality unfolding boxes
I had the pleasure of trying the Singapore Cashew Bowl and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. There were so many delicious options to choose from, making it hard to decide, but I m so glad I went with the Singapore Cashew . I added crispy tofu, which truly took the dish to the next level with a perfect crunch. The flavor was spot on spicy, savory, and satisfying. I opted for the HOT level, and it was just the right amount of heat, giving it a bold and flavourful kick. Can t wait to come back and try more
Lived up to the expectations An amazing spot for HOT Asian food Customized as per request. Definitely recommended Will return soon!
I had the Kung Pao with crispy chicken and wow! Absolutely wonderful customer service. Cant wait to come back and try everything on the menu.
Waited over 30 minutes for the food a Crispy Beef box and a Soring roll. The Spring rool was sitting there for 30 minutes on the counter getting cold. When asked as the meal finally arrived they then went back and prepared a fresh spring roll. When I got home The spring roll was still cold. The Crispy beef was average at best. I understand that they are new but training and management during these time as a new business is of upmost importance. The staff were unsure of processing the Skip orders as the drivers were left waiting while the orders were on the counter. I also noticed potential cross contamination issue with the nut pieces as they were positioned above a food prep area where pieces could fall into other ingredients.
We ordered delivery from this place our order was messed up plus we also got part of someone elses order. I ordered my food with noodles instead of rice, and I still got the rice, I ordered my food spicy and it wasnt spicy. The food was ok, the price is decent for the amount you get, but nothing I would go out of my way for. We love trying new places, especially when it comes to Asian food so we decided to give noodle box a shot, but we decided this isnt a place wed go back to.
Great new restaurant with delicious, healthy and fresh options, large portions + great friendly staff! Check it out! Very clean dining area, service at the tables with friendly and enthusiastic employees. Very much recommended! Location has just opened so naturally be prepared for some waiting time but very much worth it!
This team is still new but their service was lovely! They were up front about the hr wait (when a restaurant opens in Moncton, this is pretty typical lol). We gave them our order and did a little Christmas shopping in the area. We had ginger beef and the kung pow box, both were quite spicy and delicious! The prices were reasonable, I expected a little more meat in the portions but the noodles and veg were so delicious! I can tell there are still kinks to work out but we are excited for our next visit :)
There was very little meat in the Ginger Beef box, literally 4 small strips. The overall taste is just okay . The amount of food is good for the price. Food
Fantastic food. Fresh flavour and crunch with each bite.
