Love it everytime I go

Had lots of fun and delicious food at teppanyaki. Great spot to go with a group of people.

If you expect people spend 200 dollars on fried rice, please train your staff with better manner. Has been a regular customer for years. Called 5 days earlier to make a reservation to celebrate a special event. But when we reach there, they had my number in their iPad but not reservation. So we waited 30min on a empty table with only water. After some other customers arrived, the short hair lady who ignored us for 30 min started to accuse we didn t book and refuse to serve us. Ironically, from the voice, I can understand she might be the one picked my phone call. Because my parent has allergy towards salmon, we cannot trust someone cannot communicate with their customers, therefore we have to leave for our safety.

We had a really fun time at the hibachi grill! The food is good, but you re paying for the show, which was amazing!

I can t speak for all the rolls and dishes as I went a few times for sashimi, but I found the sashimi to be extremely fresh! Very well portioned and well cut. I d certainly go back.

It was our first time with our son and my parents and I will say that it was beyond delicious and entertaining! My son enjoyed himself so much and I can t believe how much he ate. Very good meal, in this Japanese restaurant, the room is beautiful and the decoration tasteful. We took oben 21 and a tasting boat for 4, the oben21 is a complete dish with a Japanese grill, 2 vegetable spring rolls, a small salad with a citrus vinaigrette, rice and wok-cooked vegetables. The sushi was varied and prepared with great precision. Thank you for this good meal.

Well let me tell you did you get Joy as server..? Because you will not have a joyful experience, let alone a pleasant one. I ve never had a dining/service experience like Joy. It s impressive really. I had to ask her what seasoning was on one of the dishes as it appeared to have none, zero, zip. -The Response- the chef already put it on. with possibly the snarkiest response I may have ever heard from a human being??!! Like hello? Without an ounce of concern for her paying customers she continuously gave attitude and disrespect. The service atmosphere is quite awful, no courtesy and while this had happened, server Joy came with no refills on water, no check up on food either. Quite impressive if someone like this server is still operating the same way moving forward. I d like to know what this restaurant does for training? Overall food was great but service was horrific. -Toodles

Best sushis , service and atmosphere for a great price!

Tunaholic 2 combo. Agedashi tofu Soft shell tempura Tofu was undercooked and wasnt drained prior to frying. Leading to a soggy mess that fell apart at service. Soft shell tempura: single split crab, was not properly cleaned before frying and smelled, did not eat. Tunaholic 2- spicy tuna rolls and nigiri rice was hard and the fish smelled foul upon opening the packaging, did not eat.

The food was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I were greeted by a very sweet lady with glasses. Once we sat down another waitress helped us. She completely ignored me when she took my girlfriends drink order so I didnt get a drink other than the water that was already at the table. Another time I was showing my girlfriend pictures from our vacation and she shoved the plate of food into my phone to put the plate down. She never stopped by once and had an awful attitude. She couldnt even close out our table and the other nicer waitress did it for us because she could tell we were not happy with what little and awful service we got. We plan on going back to that part of Canada for our yearly vacation and hopefully her attitude is changed, or she no longer works there.

I have had the pleasure of visiting many Asian restaurants during my time traveling and living in Asia. When I came back, my wife who happens to be eating herself, we like to visit all of the local restaurants and our area and she pulled deliberately ranked them on which one she likes best. We were looking for something and I wanted some sushi. We have a very limited amount of sushi locally thats just not very good in this place was excellent. By far one of the top sushi restaurants that weve been to bolt in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick

A good selection of eastern Asian cuisine, with plenty of choice. The food is not overpriced either. I like the variety and the service was fast and nice. The restaurant is huge as well, making it suitable for big groups or families. The interior is nicely decorated and is very clean. Overall cannot recommend it more

I ordered two for$50. So I asked for salmon and calamari. Salmon was delicious with teriyaki sauce. But the calamari was not good at all. It was so rubbery. I couldnt poke through with my fork. I had to pick it up with my fingers in order to eat some. I ended up giving it away to the people who were with me, and no one liked it. To rubbery

We visited this restaurant five years ago and made sure to return there when we were in Moncton. The beef tataki won us over at the time. Despite a careful dish, the presentation has changed, no vegetables, which makes it a less well balanced dish. The variety of offerings and the quality of the dishes still make the place a must. A very beautiful and good evening.

Disappointing. Our reservation was at 5:30 p.m., we arrived at 5:15 p.m. and we were yelled at because people were missing and if they didnt arrive in 5 minutes they wouldnt eat. We ordered and got a 30 minute show which was supposed to be around 1 hour. When the dishes were ready, we were given boxes to take away because he had another reservation and we had to leave. The waitress was very stupid and did not know how to serve her customers. She was arrogant and disrespected us. They asked us to leave at 6:20 p.m., not even 1 hour after our reservation. DISAPPOINTING.

Great good and very pleasant service

My family and I had a great time at Osaka Hibachi. Their cook/chef was funny and entertaining when he prepared our meal. There was never a dull moment while waiting for our food to be served. Parking: Paid street parking on weekdays, free on weekends.

This place is horrible. We went there for a casual dinner, the waitress was very distanced, led us to the corner table, no water, no greeting, no nothing. we have to jump out of the seat and reach to the waitress time and time again. Ramen is spicy? Beef Spicy king soup came with NO BEEF. I had to run again for my beef. And the waitress just came & dumped 3 pieces into my bowl. worst restaurant in town. PERIOD. Would never come back.

The food was excellent, the service was very good. The only negative point here is that it is also very dark, a little more light could help. But steps and paths are very well marked!

A wonderful show! The service was excellent. The salmon and shrimp was over cooked, other than that it was a great time.

Food took very long, they forgot part of our order and didnt have enough cutlery for all members, had to go find someone a few time to get what we needed. The food was good though.

It tastes too bad, don t come here! ! ! ! ! ! I ordered a Korean soup that was boiled with spicy ramen seasoning. Only about 5 of the 70 pieces of sushi boat were not fishy and could be eaten. The most outrageous thing was that the sashimi was placed on lemon slices, which made the already unpalatable raw fish The slices become more unpalatable, and I don t know why I put the lemon slices in it? To deodorize smelly sashimi?

An all around great place! One of my favourite places for sushi in the area and lots of other options if sushi is not your thing.

We ordered from our hotel 2-3 blocks away. 115$. No worries. We pick up. We have the hotel staff bring us dish ware. We get the order and no wasabi. I call they say we had to ask for it . Ok they send it . I am in pjs and I wait in lobby with a tip thank you good bye. We get ready. NO GINGER. . I call. You have to ask. WHAT. If you ste cutting costs I can understand BUT ASK WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER.

This was the worst sushi Ive ever had and the smallest salmon maki Ive ever seen. The kimchi was awful tasting with only cabbage end pieces and not fermented enough. The steamed rice was the only edible part of the meal. The little packets of ginger and wasabe are just wrong!

after getting our order wrong after forgetting about it, the chef insisted that he wasn t wrong and proceeded to put the food on my plate anyways, then proceeded to clean the grill immediately afterwards, i then asked, then told the waiter what had happened and she realized the chef got it wrong so i got my meal for free, if it wasn t for the snarky response from the waiter while handing me the bill i wouldn t have written this review, she told me i should ve told the chef before he put it on my plate even though that s what i tried. They did not give me the correct order afterwards either. To recap, they forgot my food, got it wrong when they remembered, forced it on my plate anyways after i said it was wrong, gave me the meal for free but for a meal i didn t order i don t like beef. thank you for the great experience! Girlfriend (now fiancée) took me here for my birthday & admit it was one of the most wonderful experiences I ve ever had, whilst eating of course.

I always loved their food. Unfortunately my last visit was disappointing. I ordered their steak and it was overcooked and dry. I told the waitress she just told me Im sorry. I only had a bite of my steak and thats it.

Loved it so much that we kept coming back for more dinners while in town.

What a disappointment.

I absolutely love the the lobster tempura! Best thing Ive tasted in Canada! You have to come here and order it! Ive eaten at many Japanese/sushi restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area and none of them have lobster tempura on their menu. The tempura is so perfectly crunchy and not bready like other places. I can honestly say that it is the best tempura Ive ever had! Edit: 01/13/24 had a wonderful time and the staff was amazing!

A great experience for our oldest s birthday. The kids loved it and so did we. The meal was delicious and what can I say about the atmosphere. It s literally a spectacle. Excellent for group activities.

We ordered set for delivery. First time neither ginger nor wasabi. Plus in this set there were 40pc of maki sushi and any kind of raw fish. All sushi were with rise in top. Next time I will think to order from here or try other place.

Chef Dede was just awesome. He got many tricks to make us happy. What an entertaining teppanyaki experience. Highly recommended for a celebration meal.

Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend it! The bento boxes are delicious, super well made and balanced, the cocktails delicious and original, the beers different, and finally the environment is wonderful, clean, organized, themed and magnificent. Ill be back for sure.

We went for lunch, it was nice enough. Not very busy. Service was indifferent and for was fine. Nothing special but okay. I told the waitress I couldnt have the miso due to an allergy and she brought it anyways.

Great dining experience, the live chef was entertaining and fun. The reason they lost stars for the service is the waitress wouldnt come back for drinks and also didnt smile, she looked miserable. Luckily the Japanese lady took over and we could make the most of our evening.

My wife and I went out on a date, and we chose Osaka Hibachi as our restaurant. We were not disappointed. I ordered a Maki boat, and it was delicious. I also ordered the vegetable tempura it was nice and light with a good crust. And for dessert, I ordered the mochi strawberry and mango it was incredible with a great plating.

The sushi is Skip really good compared to other places in Moncton. I find it of good quality I just wish they used real Wasabi instead of colored horse radish

Absolutely wonderful experience. We had the meal prepared in front of us, and it was so tasty! I couldnt recommend the steak more. Wow. Very filling, the portions are huge! Vegetarian options: Various tofu items on the menu! Someone in my party had the deep fried tofu and loved it. Kid-friendliness: There was a nice kids menu selection!

Highly suggest having the hibachi experience it is excellent. Fillet mignon may have been one of the best steaks I have had. Would definitely go again.

For my first visit I was blown away by everything and will definitely return. We went as a group and I recommend the grill table experience where the chef cooks the food in front of you. The ambiance, service and food was excellent. We were not rushed out even if our group was the last one of the day and we left just after their closing time. I would recommend a reservation for the table cooking experience. Cant wait to go again!

Best we ever had. This was our first restaurant we went to when visiting Moncton and definitely didn t regret it.

The experience was very very good! We came as a group of 8 without reservations and one hours before close. Even with all those inconvenience we were seated and the servers were all very kind and we were served very fast. The food was also top notch! All the sashimi was delightful. the qualities of the fish was amazing and the sushi tasted great! We also received some freebies on the house!!! I must admit a bowl of hot miso soup after a long day of travel was amazing!!! 100% recommend!!!

Went for a sushi dinner with my husband. The sashimi was a bit of a let down; some pieces were improperly cut, but they were a decent serving size. When we made mention of this to the server, she apologized and said this is how its typically made. For the rolls, the salmon rolls with spicy mayo were delicious. The fancy rolls were not quite to my liking, but were a fun addition to our meal. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was calm. Pricing was reasonable.

Everything was delicious and fast. We liked the hall, done in a Japanese style. However, we didnt enjoy the dessert; it was too sweet. We would have preferred a wider selection of Japanese desserts, such as classic mochi.

So nice we tried it twice! Our family are huge Japanese food lovers and we heard good things so we gave it a shot. Definitely met our high expectations! Love the variety on the menu, service and food quality were excellent. We had such a good experience that the next evening we scrapped our other dinner plans and ordered take out. Nous sommes venus deux fois, en juillet et en août. Sashimi et sushi boat est très beau et très bon toutes les deux fois, c est pour ça que nous sommes revenus. Mais la madame d accueil n est pas très accueillante, ni au téléphone ni sur place. C est de l expérience très désagréable. Nous avons laissé quand même 17% de pourboire. Mais on NE reviendra PLUS. C est quasiment le pire accueil qu on a eu.

I tried the oyakodon and it was pretty good. There were a lot of veggies and the sauce seasoned the rice well. The wait was a bit long but we arrived around closing.

Kids running around yelling ordered our meal took 10 minutes to get mine finished my meal and girlfriend only received hers an hour later food was mediocre at best. Will not recommend and will not be returning.

Teppanyaki was fantastic, food was delicious, great show!

I went to eat at Osaka Hibachi for the 5th time, the waitress was not at all nice and seemed to be exasperated as if we were bothering her. Whats more, I ate wassabi chilli (chilli for sushi) without knowing it was chilli, I thought it was avocado (Im not a sushi expert and the waitress didnt even bother to mention that it was chilli! I saw my life flash by as the chilli went to my head). I was really disappointed with my experience and have decided not to return.

Did our Anniversary there tonight, very authentic, actual Japanese music, very busy yet a calm relaxing atmosphere. Staff and kitchen was very relaxed, cool and collective. Had the 40 PC Boat sushi. So delicious and fresh.

This restaurant was right opposite our hotel and I wish we came here first than going to The Keg nearby and having to put up with a terrible receptionist there who affected our experience. The staff here was simply amazing and the young Korean lady was smiling all the time detailing little things of interest. We had the soft shell crab, the tofu plus a mix of sushi etc my other half likes so much - he said everything was great and fresh, well done just the way you find in Korea, Japan etc. I even tried the complimentary soup, and yes, it was great. This place should be number one place in Moncton. And yes, we were fortunate to have only another table taken near us.

We came by chance and we didnt regret it. We chose hot food and it was delicious. The service is fast and very friendly.

I am outraged by the attitude of the manager and staff! My young daughter celebrated her birthday with her friends at what was her favorite restaurant in Moncton. The young people were shocked to see that they had been charged $20 for a birthday cake that one of their friends had brought back. I find this attitude incredibly base and I had to point it out. I spoke to the manager who wouldnt do anything to fix it. It is time that the notion of service is instilled in certain people, especially in restaurants.

We booked the Tapiyanaki Grill for a special occasion (group of 8). It was a really fun and wonderful experience. Food was awesome, friendly service and a great location. A bit pricey but totally worth it. Will go again!!

As a vegetarian, the options are very varied and I was delighted to find the Tofu & Vegetable Hot Plate which perfectly suited my tastes. I highly recommend this dish as well as this restaurant. The price-quality ratio is very advantageous. Vegetarian options: This restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian options that are not only satisfying, but also delicious. I highly recommend it, even for those who are not strictly vegetarian.

Good Japanese , I ll recommend the bento box for lunch, did the teppanyaki few years ago. Now a staple in the Monctons background.

I enjoyed the experience. The chef was fun and the party had a good laugh. The portions were decent - The dining in experience is worth the extra charge. But if you just need food, better to order off the takeout menu. I would have preferred my fried rice a bit spicier though - and yeah downtown parking was a bit of pain. For the price-point, complementary parking would have been a good value add.

They put a house mayonnaise on everything. It seems like chefs choice for it as well. So even if it doesnt have mayonnaise on the menu for that item. It may still get some. Also they told me I should have told them not to put mayo on something that shouldnt get it. Another note they are trying to fluff up the roll with less ingredients. Making the roll fall apart while trying to eat it. Loved the place in the past. No longer.
