So good. Had an omelet with a side if their delicious hashbrowns. You can pay at the table now too through a QR code, convenient!
Went for supper and was served by “Mary.” She was extremely polite and attentive! There was one phase of our visit when a man and his wife were waiting less than 3 minutes to be seated - He began yelling at Mary and stormed out. (Must have been hangry?) Mary handled it with grace and continued serving everyone with professionalism. Thank you Mary! We WILL be back!
Man, I've been wanting to try IHOP forever and finally got the chance today. Food was great, server was great, all around great time. Wish there was one in Cape Breton!
Recently had the opportunity to visit Moncton. I have always enjoyed visiting IHOP in the US and out west. Am glad to have it on the east coast now. We stopped in for supper and I love the breakfast. M favourite thing. The shredded potatoes are the best. Our server was Leah R. And she was friendly and helpful. Considered us an important customer. Food is perfect and we left satisfied. I love the 55+ menu.
This was my first time visiting an IHOP. I've been wanting to check one out for so long, especially since it's newish to where I'm located. Thus, a planned trip to Moncton meant stopping in here for breakfast. For my dish, I ordered the one called "Split Decision Breakfast". It came with 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 buttermilk pancakes, and 2 pieces of their French toast. I know IHOP is renowned for their pancakes, so I was originally inclined to order that. However, I opted for this dish instead because of the variety it had. Now, back to my dish. Out of everything I had, I loved the French toast the most. It was the perfect thickness, fluffy, and really good. IHOP also had a really good selection of syrups (my favorite being the butter pecan and then the blueberry). I liked the coffee they served, too. Nothing special, but to be expected given this is a popular chain. I actually wasn't too fond of the pancakes, unfortunately. They're decent, but the ones I had, I found were quite dry (even with the addition of butter and syrup). All in all, the food was decent. We waited a bit for our food, but our waitress was extremely kind. 4/5 for the food experience, but the service and atmosphere were great! A lovely little breakfast date.
Food was great, service was good. First time ever going. My teenager loved the chicken and pancakes. Everything was so good
My wife and I are not fussy or hard to please but we didn’t particularly like it here. The spinach and mushroom omelette dish was “sloppy”, presentation wise, nothing like the picture example. The “fresh avocado” that was extra on the menu had some brown edges and were really thin. It did not appear busy and we waited about 35-45 mins for our meal. They said they were waiting on the steak and eggs but when it arrived, the steak wasn’t charred or seared. Just light brown like it was cooked on med heat or something. Pancakes were too soggy in the middle for my daughter to eat. Altogether the food was good flavour, a bit expensive and nothing really seemed fresh or impressive and we could easily make it at home. I guess for an IHOP first experience we had high expectations since the first time we tried to go here in the past it was too busy and were told it would be an hour wait to be seated, so we left. The staff were nice and the manager came around each table which was good so we give it a 2 star rating. We may be back but we won’t be getting the same dishes.
I was very impressed. The service was great, and the food was delicious. We went there for supper. There was a huge variety to choose from. I ate the avocado and toast, and my son ate the buffalo chicken burger with fries. I would recommend making reservations, since there was a continuous lineup waiting to be seated. You won't regret it.
Lots of fruit flies to share your meal with.
Great food and family friendly restaurant. Its kind of a diner type of setting.
Great food and service at this location. It is where we usually stop when staying in Moncton area
Standard food. Best menu items are pancake related as to be expected.
Wow!!! The big steak omelet is the best!
Walked into IHOP Moncton MARY WHO WAS SEATING PEOPLE FRIDAY OCTOBER 25 AT 5:30 WAS TO BUSY TO SEAT US WHILE AN UBER WAS PICKING up an order told her we were waiting to be seated and she said she didnt care then when into the kitchen standing around and somebody in the kitchen told her we were there and she came running out saying sorry which was a load of crap and I told her so shes probably the reason there were only 4 people eating and one was a child nobody else was there eating. We are sitting here in the parking lot called the IHOP by phone and nobody answer the phone and the voicemail box was full.WHAY A JOKE WE WONT BE BACK AND THIS KIND OF STUFF GETS AROUND FAST.IVE NEVER SEEN AN EMPTY RESTAURANT AT DINNER TIME ON A FRIDAY NIGHT IN MONCTON AS LONG AS IVE LIVED HERE AND THE OWNER BETTER START LOOKING FOR STAFF AND PAY ATTENTION TO HIS BUSINESS OR ITS NOT GOING TO BE AROUND LONG
Excellent
First time ever at IHOP. Everything was so tasty and great portion size and value.
Great service! Love the coffee and the 2x2x2 breakfast!
Amazing staff, amazing service, amazing experience!
Loved the Chicken Fajita Omelette and Jr Chicken Strips
Great food and service. Butter pecan syrup is the best
Food was good
Very friendly service
Food was delicious! Service was excellent.
Good time
Quick and good!

Good food, good service
Dietary restrictions: gluten free Food
Service very kind, and food délicieux!
Great staff, food was excellent
The staff are friendly and efficient. Mary is the best waitress! Good food & good portions.
Friendly service. Good quick food.
Wonderful server, quick and food was good.
Nice place for a good family time
I have had the worst experience at iHop in Moncton last night. After driving two hours to enjoy the day in Moncton my partner and I stopped in at 5:10 to get some dinner before our drive home.. this led to us waiting an hour just to get our order taken and receive our drinks. Then on top of the wait it took 35-40 minutes to get our food. From the time we got our drinks to the time we got our food our waiter didn t come over once to let us know about the wait (we had to ask the other waiter about our meals and the wait time as we had to drive two hours back home) The meal was delicious and I have been there before and the food and service was great but after last night I m not sure if we will stop by next time we travel to Moncton due to our experience last night. Also watched a group of at least 8 adults and 1 kid get the same poor service we did from the same waiter; they got their meal for free.
Great experience. Our waitress was the best. She told us all about PEI and where to go
Great food Parking: Beside a casino Food : 5/5 |
Awesome Breakfast
Food was great, our server was amazing, we had a party of 7 and we didnt have any issues at all. Typical IHOP serving size, it always seems a bit small until you start eating and you realize it was the perfect amount.
This may be trivial to some, but the recent change to individually wrapped Ketchup packets marks the end of our weekly breakfasts here. Nothing makes a breakfast feel cheap like having multiple people tear open a total of 8 or 9 packets, then all walk to the washroom to clean the sticky off their hands, and THEN be able to start eating while avoiding the plastic shrapnel across the table. It may seem minor, but Ill happily switch over to Stacked for my weekend breakfasts. Wont be returning.
The chicken fajita omelet is a must try. The service was quick, and the food was delicious. Definitely a place to check out.
Great food and service!!
I love IHOP. Only place that makes gluten free pancakes and waffles. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pancakes and waffles Food : 5/5 |
Great for a quick stop for breakfast.
Our server, Melissa, was exceptional Parking: Easy Kid-friendliness: Kids luv IHOP
Food was good, service was great. Place was quite busy at the time but seating was available
All the employees we met or interacted with were very kind and smiling to us. Milkshake was excellent and our lunch was great. I recommand it
Good.
Real good breakfast food
It was my 1st time at Ihop and always wanted to try it. It was not very busy only 3 people when I was there. Ordered Cowboy burger and pancakes. It was good but did not appreciate listening to waitress talking to cx about personal issues. Later that evening ended up getting sick and only ate at IHOP
Loved the food. Server was friendly and recommended things without being pushy. The restaurant was bright and clean. A recommend!
First time eating here ever today and it was absolutely disgusting! Wasnt even busy and we ( 4 people) waited 10 minutes before even getting seated. Ordered our drinks and were brought different drink then asked for then told after the drink I ordered was unavailable. food was gross the hash browns were so hard I thought I chipped a tooth on it... horrible first and probably my last time eating here
Great food choices.
Great food, great location, friendly staff
Took over an hour to even get water brought to the table and they still forgot to bring everyones drinks. They also had to be repeatedly reminded that they didnt not have enough cutlery at the table and only informed us 30min after ordering that they hadnt had avocado for days. By the time the food came out and we had cutlery the food was cold. Will not be back. Make the drive to the Big Stop in Salisbury Update: They appologised and didnt charge us for the meal.
Not worth your time and money. Ordered avocado and fried tomatoes on toast, topped with two eggs. Ordered arrived and I was advised they had no more tomatoes, wow. Eggs over easy were way too easy. Oh yeah, also, the employees park in the parking spots closest to the doors of the restaurant.
Always busy, so theres that. Food is decent. Floors are exceptionally dirty, around everything and every corner / edge.
Just go to Dennys
Very friendly sevice and blueberry pancakes had blueberries inside not just on top.
Love this restaurant and it is a real treat for me to go there.
My comments were sent directly to IHOP shortly after my visit to IHOP Moncton, but as its now been over a month and I never received any explanations from IHOP, I am sharing my comments for everyone to see: On June 29th, 2024, my wife and I went for breakfast at IHOP Moncton. My wife ordered a regular breakfast : scrambled eggs with ham and toast. When her plate came, we were shocked to see 2 small pieces of ham a little bit bigger than a toonie each. She then asked for an extra order of ham. The slice of ham that she received was also very small, but 2 pieces like that should have been on her plate at first considering that you charge 15$ for that plate and the coffee is not even included. But we saw the worst of it when we received the bill and found out that we had been charged 7$ extra + tax for a tiny extra piece of ham also tiny like a toonie. This breakfast cost us close to 55$ for 2 eggs, bacon/ham, 2 coffees and toasts. This is ridiculous and we are not about to return to any IHOP restaurant.
Have been here a few times in Moncton, NB.....today will be the last. Service was exceptionally slow, 40 + minutes to get our food with no explanation other than the waitress telling us...dont blame me Im not the cook! Really!? Had she stopped by our table just once to let us know why the long wait or apologize that would have been better. My husband got his juice half way through eating his dry pancakes after he had to ask for it. I got the 55+ Sampler ..and the toonie size piece of ham was a joke. The pancake was cold ...the butter wouldnt melt...the potatoes were cool...just a terrible experience. Should have stuck with Coras
Parking: Lots of parking all around the building. You need to go up the road the casino is on and co.r around from the back. Kid-friendliness: Definitely if friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.
Everything was good and the food was delicious, but one of the staff members kept yelling at the other workers and the scene and this persons attitude was very unnecessary and uncomfortable.
A must try event. Never disappointed with the menu.
Our server was very professional, food was great
Much improved food quality, may have better cook or procedures or changed food supplier. Service is great as always. Noticeable difference in taste of food.
Came for takeout at 7am sharp, three hours into a road trip. Danielle g was the absolute sweetest and made our day. Will make the trip out again soon !
I am leaving zero stars as we were seated quickly then we were left sitting for 15 minutes then a couple came in and were seated right beside us. The waitress walked right over to them to get their drink order. Several waitress passed by us several times without acknowledging we were even there. We got up and left. Absolutely terrible service
If I could, Id give this location -5 stars. After waiting for more than 10 mins for someone to show up to take our order, we are told no steak. So we decide on the grilled chicken sandwich. After another long wait, we are told no grilled chicken, only crispy. At that point we just got fed up and left.
The actual IHOP was great but was no fun trying to find the way into their parking area, was not an easy task as a very busy area . Should at least have a sign that would point us in the right direction. I cant be the only one not happy as were no other people in the restaurant at a time when should be busy, supper time. Fix it!! Parking: SEE ABOVE IN COMMENTS
If you want terrible service, kids food messed up and never checked up on, you should go here. Waited 40 mins for food, all that for our kids food to be both wrong, another 15 mins wait for pancakes and eggs. Asked for manger took another 15 mins! She blamed the kitchen staff English isn t their first language stop hiring them then. I don t know what to tell you. Got the bill with some stuff off, waitress walked by 4 times didn t stop wouldn t let us pay, had to go up front and wait for another waitress to be able to pay & leave. Better service at McDonald s in the self serve * I do not want followed up on with a spam message about more details on all the 1 star reviews.
Ihope is going to be like Pizza Hut, bad service and bad food. Here in Moncton the service is terrible, they don t hire enough staff even if the restaurant is empty.
Mediocre Diner food with unremarkable service. Overpriced.
To get in this location is completely bizzare !!!! I definitely make better pancakes at home. They sell maple syrup at the counter, but it s not real maple syrup on your pancakes!!!! We (a couple) waited a really long time for service and our food. It wasn t peak time for breakfast or lunch. Coffee was decent but the basic breakfast of two pancakes, two eggs and two pieces of bacon or sausage cost us $40 before tip.
Took 20-25 minutes to get an order in... wasnt overly busy. Food was good. Food took about 35-40 minutes too. Long trip for breakfast
It wasnt bad at all, food was excellent, service was great, my only complaint was being seated at a table right by the kitchen ( VERY loud) which made it hard for my wife and I to talk to each other.
Amazing food and service. Definitely a favorite when in Moncton.
Excellent for breakfasts and valid for other meals
Very good breakfast and the staff was great. A little busy on Fathers Day. But the wait was worth it
This was my first IHOP experience. The staff, food and price were incredible! There were so many great menu choices it got hard to choose. I ll be back to try the others!
Cant really rate the food as I didnt get to eat any. We arrived at 6:30am after verifying on both google and your facebook page that say restaurant opens at 6:30 on Saturdays. Doors are unlocked and we are able to get into the restaurant. Wait about 5 minutes. Then a server comes out and says we arent open until 7. Then why are the doors unlocked? Hours wrong on google, maybe that I can understand, but the person running the facebook page should list the correct hours. Needless to say, after driving 25 mins with my young toddler, I wasnt waiting 30 minutes for the restaurant to open and who knows who much longer to get served, order and get our food. Very disapointed and definitely does not make me want to go again at the price gas is. Drive 25 minutes to not get any food. Thankfully, Coras was open and we had an amazing breakfast there with leftovers to bring home. That will be our place of choice from now on, not Ihop.
We ordered the seniors sampler and as the restaurant was not busy expected our meals within a reasonable time frame. Almost 1/2hr later we were served cold eggs, sausage and pancakes. The hubby ate his but I refused. When the waitress asked us how our meal was she looked at my plate and asked if it was cold and was there anything she could bring me. She already knew it was cold when she served it and I told her to take my meal off the bill. Poor food poor service and no tip. Unfortunately this has happened here before and I thought maybe things had changed for the better apparently not.
Had Bacon and eggs with a short stack. It was okay, not exceptional. Home fries were warm, I asked for over easy 1 egg was hard the other was a little runny. Not sure how they did that. Pancakes were good. So over all it was an okay experience
Food was cold.fairly busy,wasnt impressed.Wont b back.
Food was great after a long day at magic mountain. Our server was awesome, really friendly. Edit* back again may 13th for lunch..amazing service, food was perfect. Food
Not that good for the price Sell maple syrup at front entry but don t have it at table 1 piece bacon and I sausage Box pancake nothing to write home about No where near the American I hops Disappointing meal and experience,
The server was great the food was not worth it.
The fries were cold when they came out. They did bring fresh fries out and gave a discount on the meal but a burger and fries should be eaten together. The burger was much smaller than it looked on the menu, and portions were small. Burger was so so. The roast beef was good, but potatoes were a funny color, although the taste was ok. My broccoli was way overcooked. Service was great, the atmosphere was ok, but we wont be rushing back.
Good service, but price a bit high.
The highlights - the cinastack pancakes are addictive. Theyre definitely more of a dessert but really yummy! -Everyones food was okay. It wasnt bad but its missing flavour besides salt and sweet. -The coffee is good and the carafe at the table is a nice touch. The meh- our waitress was a bit overwhelmed and flustered. She got the job done but she was constantly missing something. When she was describing dessert, I was bored. It went on for so long and didnt even feel like she had tried it. It was such a fake sell when we just wanted to leave. The kitchen forgot the bacon (extra charge) on a burger and instead of comping in, brought it out mid meal and said here. It was not eaten. The omelette I had was bland. The only flavour was heat from raw hot peppers. While I love spicy food, this was weird. Soft omelette interjected with a crunch of raw pepper. The splasher drink was a thumbs down from 3/4 of us. For 5$, we didnt want to waste it...but the only one who liked It was my husband - who thought it tasted like flat pop. It was like said lemonaid. The atmosphere is starting to look sad. IHOP in Atlantic Canada is a first and its supposed to be fun but things are starting to look run down already. They have a pancake height ruler that Is torn, booths are a bit crumby, menus are feeling sticky. We werent greeted when we walked in, it was for four? Follow me. Little things make a big difference in atmosphere. For 100$ for four of us, we were disappointed. It wasnt great food, it wasnt a fun experience, and the staff seem like they want to be elsewhere. It wasnt the worst spot ever but we will be going elsewhere next time we go out for breakfast. Kid-friendliness: Its definitely kid friendly!
Service and food was great
Large servings. Pancakes were delicious.
We stopped in around 7:30 hoping to grab a quick bite. However, we were met with an overly dirty floor with trash in piles or on tables. We sat for 10-15 mins before we ordered and the waitress seemed like she was drunk or something. Anyways, the food was ok but definitely had been sitting for a while and was just slapped on the plate. Would not recommend going at this time but can t speak for other times of the day.
We love this IHOP, its a stop on the way from PEI to Montreal, so we dont hang around long. Had the same waitress few times now and shes always super pleasant. Food comes out quick and is delicious.
50 minutes to get 2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of bacon and toast on a quiet Wednesday morning. Hope youve got lots of time to kill.
Food was terrible, it all looked precooked and reheated. Only good thing was the servers/host
Every time I come to this place it s the same experience. Amazing friendly staff, great service and delicious food. Simply put, the best breakfast/brunch spot in my opinion!
Great food and service.. grandson gave it a thumbs up.
Had a wicked chicken burger Jan amd bacon !
Did not disappoint. Everything as expected from a to z.
loved it
Food and service was great!
Great staff food and service
Had their cinna cakes, Was unbelievably sweet, If thats what you enjoy I definitely recommend. Server for evening shift was very nice as well
Nice customer service
Nice find right off the TCH. LOTS of menu items to choose from. Service was very good. Food : 5/5
My boyfriend and I went there the other day (one server on) not super busy. Went for the waffles- they were out, got French toast instead. It was terrible. It was basically dry bread with clearly frozen strawberries. Server never once came back to ask how it was. When we were done we had to get up and go to the front to pay and she (the same server that took our order) couldn t even figure out where we were sitting out of the 5 tables that were taken. We will not be going back there.
My sons first time, he said he had the best food and waitress
Nice place to enjoy breaor Brunch on a Sunday morning. The wait time is around 10-15 minutes but the service is spot on. Tried the breakfast sampler which was amazing and the french toast were super soft. Loved it
The costumer service was great, warm and welcoming staff. My steak and eggs were delicious Kid-friendliness: Boosters and colouring books available
Never been there before but I ordered the one egg one piece of bacon one link and the smallest piece of ham I have ever seen , I really thought it was a joke , it doesnt make sence to me how people like this place , next time Im going to a regular good diner and get my moneys worth , first time there and the last , the only good thing about it was the waitress was perfect nothing like the food .
it was delicious as always
Good atmosphere , regular sizes, family place
Without a doubt, the worst restaurant experience I ve ever had. Firstly, the wait staff took very long to get to our table; when she finally arrived, she got impatient with one of our kids who happened to give a slight pause while ordering and LEFT OUR TABLE to serve another table in the middle of our order. She then put all of our orders in, except our son s, causing his food to come exceptionally later than the rest of ours. I ordered some kind of eggs Benedict and it arrived COLD, with soggy, under toasted English muffins. At this point, because we had already waited so long and we were all quite hungry, I managed about half of this disgusting concoction before I had to stop. (Being eggs, it couldn t be reheated, of course.) The restaurant was also cold, which, as one can imagine, added insult to injury. Terrible experience. We will never, ever, ever return and have advised everyone we know not to go there.
How is this restaurant still in business????? Extremely slow and terrible food. The McDonald s down the road is better value AND better food!
They obviously changed their pancake batter, and whip cream. The pancake is smaller portions size and flat. The whipped cream is very thick, and has a weird taste. I asked the manager about these concerns, and she confirmed that they have changed suppliers of their products. This is very disappointing. I used to love going to IHOP specifically for the thick and fluffy pancakes and topping of soft fluffy whipped cream. I wont be ordering the pancake in future. Vegetarian options: Accommodation for vegan choices Dietary restrictions: Accommodation for gluten sensitivity choices
Exceeded my expectations. Loved the giant brick hash brown.
Never had such a bad lunch
IHOP does not only holds it brand reputation but also customer expects faster service. Specially when you are starving for breakfast. We enjoyed a decent breakfast for a nominal price however the slowness in service and no iterative checks on the table surprised me. I would only request that IHOP should work on either increasing the staff or speed of the service.
The server was a little stand offish. Nevertheless, the food was good
Wonderful place to eat and the food is amazing as well. I wish the prices were a little cheaper but all in all great place to eat especially Breakfast Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menus and High chair available Wheelchair accessibility: East access to the front doors also wheelchair friendly tables as well
Very good food and pleasant staff
I visited IHOP in Moncton, New Brunswick, during my granddaughters hockey tournament. The whole team and parents had breakfast there, and it was great. The food was amazing, the staff was fabulous, and endless coffee at our table was the icing on the cake.
Great food, low wait times, great customer service. Will go again
Very pleasant place to go and eat. Clean, bright with very friendly staff. The problem is finding your way in. The entrance is not on Mountain Rd. You have to drive up Casino Rd. and go down a small dead end road and then go into the entrance from there. If I had not been persistent, I probably would not have found it. Food
Wonderful service and food is great! Price is very reasonable. Very clean and well maintained. We love having brunch here.
First time there. Huge selection so I had a hard time choosing. Everything was delicious.
Refused to seat us
Delicious food, friendly staff
Clean bathrooms and environment, great food!
I was here yesterday with my mother, aunt and grandmother...ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! That was the best breakfast Ive ever had...the coffee was really good too! Wonderful service as well! Ill definitely be returning! Thank you!!!
We had 3 separate people bring our food, they all looked cranky and like they had better places to be. The fruit bowl was the saddest dish of 6 pieces of honeydew, half a sliced strawberry and 5 grapes. The bacon jam on the eggs Benedict was good at least. Definitely not worth the 30 dollars for breakfast.
Food was amazing. Coffee was really good, and I dont normally drink restaurant coffee as it is usually old tasting!! Our server was really helpful and speedy.
Great food, service, and very reasonable prices as well. Very short wait time which is always a plus. We will definitely be back again!
Daniele is an old school server who puts customer service slightly above her pleasant demener towards her co workers both out front and in the kitchen. She is a compliment to your restaurant!
Server was okay, service was relatively fast, food was alright I found the custard super sweet the pancakes are always good though. Came to about 45$ for two. Vegetarian options: They do have vegan options
I was impressed with this place. Really nice menu and good service. It s a little difficult to find the road in, but that s not their fault.
Food is tasty and service is great.
Best place in town to get a Cinnabon creeper. Staff is attentive and the dining was pleasant. Parking: Lots of spots.may be tight around dinner time but I was able to find a spot up front Kid-friendliness: Its a restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: 4 or 5 spaces for packing, 1 level, lots of chairs that can be moved around.
Im really terrible with names, but our waitress was PHENOMENAL! We came on October 22nd, and it was pretty busy. Our waitress informed us she would be right with us, and maybe a minute later there she was, she let us know before wed ordered drinks that something wasnt working and so food was taking slightly longer than normal. The food still came faster than expected. We were there less than an hour from seating to paying. She checked on us an awesome number of times during the meal to make sure we were still good! I only wish I could remember her name because she definitely deserves a raise!
Very good Wheelchair accessibility: Confortable Food : 5/5 |
Very nice atmosphere. Beautiful decor.
Staff was friendly
Eggs benedict here are really great. Great restaurant. Great service.
Great food great service
They have good reviews on food and I have ate there food was good. But they are HORRIBLE at getting back to you. I have tried for two weeks to ask for something special. Apparently they dont care if they lose business. We are traveling to Moncton without answers we will go elsewhere that will answer.
As expected, food was good, wait time however was longer than expected. First time in an ihop, if you like pancakes, this is the place for you!
Excellent food. Melissa was a great server!
