Carrabba's Italian Grill (Moncton) in Moncton

Took over an hour just to get a pop. Chicken was completely dry/ burnt ends and was overpowered with seasoning. Garlic mashed potatoes had a soup like texture, tasted more like a garlic milk than potato. Caesar salad dressing was watered down & made for a soggy salad. If going to advertise people being able to host double digit reservations, should have a designated server.

We went for a family dinner. The food was excellent. The impeccable service (I dont have the name of our server, but hats off to this young man). Plus, for a restaurant of this size that was full, we could carry on a conversation without having to shout. We had a wonderful evening.

What a lovely place for a nice dinner! Our server was so helpful and the food was amazing! We had the sausage and lentil soup, shrimp scampi and fettuccini carraba. We also loved the warm sourdough bread and olive oil with herbs.

This was one of the best meals Ive ever eaten. I had the chicken soup to start, and then the chicken marsala with broccoli, and a glass of their house made spiced cherry sangria. Every bite was delectable. I wouldve taken photos, but I was too excited to eat Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and they had quite a few gluten friendly options!

Had dinner on a Saturday night and it was busy. We had reservations which was good. Due to the number of diners it was a little noisy so not a spot for a quiet dinner. The service was excellent and the menu offers a large variety of options. The chicken marsala was the best I have ever eaten so very moist and lots of flavour. My dinner companions had sea food dishes and enjoyed them very much. Next time I visit Moncton I plan to go back! Bravo

I was here yesterday with a family member. I wanted to celebrate the fact that i was cancer free. First of all our waitress was great nothing to say about her service. The food was good. The greeter put us behind the main area where the waitress keep passing even though the place was almost empty inside... We felt disrespected... i guess that the restaurant didnt feel that we deserve the same respect as the other customers that came before and after us... We will not go back!

We were in Moncton for 3 days and happened to be at this place. Totally amazing place. The service makes it a great place and the food is excellent too. Our server, Brianna , explained to us the food choices and helped us place the right order. Also provided a free desert to the birthday person. Chicken Marsala is a must try.

Food was good took chicken Bryan. For 30$ received two small pieces was disappointed.

Had reservations for our anniversary supper and when we arrived was told we had to pay $20 for parking. Required Handicap parking, walking distance not an option. Canceled our reservation. Very disappointed. Won t be back

Visited as a group. First impressions from the counter were not impressed at all. The lady who stood there had no smile at all and was little rude to answer our questions when we asked for a child chair. it was Monday and not that busy. The second stage service was great. They are friendly and attentive to our needs. I had Tuscan chicken and was not happy with the meal. I wish something special for that price tag. Nothing felt special. 100% Happy with my cocktail tomato basil Soup and bread. Thank you bartender, chef or who ever made those. Nice atmosphere. Am not sure why pizza is not available on the main menu. probably because of the group. No free parking here. And too expensive for city like this. Anyway you will find parking nearby after hours without issue if its not a event day at Avenir center Hopefully a better experience next time. Kid-friendliness: Nice options for kids.

Our server, Brianna?, was a true delight. Tomato basil soup was to die for!!! Entrees were delicious as well. Hard to believe this is the only Carrabba s in Canada. It s one of my favs in the US. Parking: If you re staying at the attached hotel you re fine but otherwise it s tough to get parking.

Carrabbas is one of our favorite restaurants when we go to the States but after finishing our meal we were very disappointed on the quality of the food. The calamari was more chewy than normal and didnt taste like our favorite appetizer. As far as the margarita pizza and mozzarella sticks go, they werent as delicious but were fine. The apple crustata definitely wasnt what we were expecting. It did not live up to its name! It was just a apple crisp. It had no crust and didnt even look like an apple crustata. Our overall experice was a 3/10 and we were all disappointed in one of our favorite Italian restraunts.

Our Server Alex was the absolute best server we have had in any restaurant, He is attentive, professional and just fun to have around!! The food was 10 out of 10, and is every time! My son said the cheese pizza is the best!!

My husband called and made reservations because it was our wedding anniversary. When we arrived they seemed to have no idea that we made reservations and we were at first seated by the bar next to another couple. I asked to be seated in another place because there was room but we were still close to the bar. We had to wait for a very long time (reservations were at 6, we left at 8). I understand there was another event going on but I wish this was told to us when we were making the reservation. It took more than 45 minutes to receive our food. When we finally did receive our food, my husband had ordered chicken parm. That came served with a cheese slice on it and we both had mashed potatoes that I m sure were instant potatoes. For the price that we were paying, I expected better presentation. I was disappointed at the lack of respect for fellow co-workers. Twice I over heard another co-workers speak unprofessionally to our server. Maybe she was new.. but you should be keeping your tone professional when speaking in front of customers. When we received our bill the manager compensated us for the appetizer we had ordered. Even though this was a considerate gesture, I m over all disappointed with my experience and will not be going back for a special event.

The best meal in a long time with 3 tired children. We went on a week night with 3 tired children, and the service was perfect, the little attentions to the children were great and the food was amazing. The bill was very reasonable, overall we will definitely plan to go back. We got take out. Expensive for what you get. The cup of soup is half a cup and doesnt come with bread or crackers. It was very very salty. The meatball appie certainly doesnt look anything like the photos and its tiny for $10. The rigatoni $26 was bland and the sausage balls were really dry! Marios has better sausage.

An absolutely wonderful experience, starting with the smiles at the doorway coming in. Our server was patient, helpful, and knowledgeable - but also not hesitant to ask the kitchen to make sure everything was just right. Can t say enough good things about her; she made a great meal even better and more memorable for eight people and a toddler. The food was the best I ve had in a restaurant since before the pandemic, and everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional. We ll all be back.

Wonderful meal

Terrible service and the cost for the portion size is insane. The chicken breast was the size of the teeth end of my fork. Also took a long time and the place wasn t even busy. Taking down to 1 star after they charged me $4.75 for one ounce of Marsala sauce to cover the Chicken Marsala I ordered but came dry. I ve been to many Carrabbas across the U.S. This is the second worst I ve experienced.

The food was average, not really high end as they describe it to be. Nothing was overly tasty, and the chicken was over cooked and dry. Way too much dressing on the bruschetta topping. The side was mashed potatoes. They were as good as they looked. I ll give the food 2 stars as it wasn t inedible, just wasn t great. Staff were cold, not friendly. Appeared to judge based on how casually I was dressed. They weren t friendly to me until I asked for their opinion of the menu. It got busy, I got forgotten about. Bill took over 25 minutes to get to me. Likely won t return.

We ve been there twice and never paid for parking and on May 29th 2024 we spend 140$ on a meal and had to pay another extra 10$ for parking RIDICULOUS. We will not go there again.

The servers who attended to us were always kind and attentive. The atmosphere was nice too. However, the steak was always too salty. When I visited for the second time, I tried eating the steak without adding salt, but it was still a bit salty. I still want to visit again!

Love this restaurant! Excellent service and Italian food truly is authentic. Since my husband is Italian from Ontario, he would be able to tell which is authentic and which is not. The atmosphere is very calming and staff are excellent and knowledgeable. The quality of food too is unmatched.

Food was outstanding. We had the Chicken Bryan and Florentine Haddock. Both were very nice. Our server was exceptional and a welcome reprieve from the disappointing service at our hotel restaurant.

Ask to sit in Alexs section, you wont be disappointed!! An amazing place, amazing service and exceptional food. The mushroom ravioli and chicken parm was delish. Loved the spinach dip, tomato soup and tiramisu!!

I m from Ottawa and make a point to visit Carrabba s every time I m in town. The service, environment, and food has been perfection each time. Alex and Tavin took amazing care of my family and I, and we will definitely be back next time we come to Moncton. Our favourite dish was the Linguine Pescatore

Fantastic! It was our 20th anniversary and they all wished us a happy anniversary and gave fantastic service.

Had a later dinner here today and it was excellent! Got a bowl of Sicilian chicken soup to start with some fresh bread. My main was the Rigatoni Campagnolo and it was delicious, a huge bowl of fresh pasta and sausage. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt. Overall was a great experience and definitely will be going back!

Stayed at hotel for 10 days for national ringette tournament and ended up eating 5 meals there. First out of convenience, then because service and food was outstanding so why go elsewhere. Every single person in there was very personable and food was stellar, but Bri the bartender was above and beyond

Great Italian Food First time at this place & will return again. Service and Atmosphere top notch. We both started with our, appetizer Margherita Pizza we both thought if the rest of our food tastes like this, were in for treat tonight. Next item up was our soup that was part of our main meal. Soup Mama Mandolas Sicilian Chicken Soup Ive tasted soup before but not like that. This is a (5*+) to start with. I cant explain the taste except WOW. My Love had: Chicken Trio (GF) three different types of chicken and her side was Penne Pomodoro She also gave a (5*) on this dish. Tasted awesome. Even I had a piece of each, I also agree. I had the Simply Grilled Salmon (GF) (med well) you get your choice on, how you would like it. Other places you receive a piece of salmon. My side was the Sauteed Broccoli ... Another perfection dish. Ill rate has a (5*) On top of all, we were part of a party of 12 with a reservation for 7:30 pm. On arrival table was ready with the 12 of us showing up at the same time. Water was placed on the table. Waitress gave us few minutes to settle in and look over the drink menu. After dropping off our drinks gave us few minutes to look over the food menu. Drinks came together, all appetizers came together, when we were done cleared the table for our main dish. Once again everything was received at the same time. I cant remember our group going out together and have something get mixed up. Didnt feel rushed. Great job hats off for the crew at Carrabbas Thank-you again for a wonderful evening B&B

First visit to Carrabbas this evening but wont be my last. My positive experience began with their online reservation system which was easy to use and allowed you to enter details for food sensitivities/allergies in advance and highlight of you were dining for a special occasion. The dining room was spacious, seats were comfortable and the decor was adequate for the type of restaurant. A lot of great menu options - many of which can be made gluten-free. Our server (Mariia K) was fabulous. She was friendly, attentive, made great drink and entrée recommendations, and had such a positive/pleasant demeanor which made us feel truly cared for a guests. I began with their Tuscan lemonade cocktail to start... just the right amount of citrus; very refreshing. For supper, I had the tomato basil soup and chicken trio with the garlic mashed potatoes. The soup was flavorful with the fresh basil adding a nice touch. The chicken was juicy and tender - the chicken marsala was my favorite of the trio and the potatoes were well seasoned and had a very creamy texture. For dessert, I had a cappuccino and their John Cole ice cream dessert... the cinnamon rum roasted pecans were delicious!

We ordered for pickup. It was ready on time within 1/2 hour, and they were friendly.Thats all that was good. It was probably the worst takeout food I have yet experienced. The Alfredo was bland and tasteless, and the spaghetti was also very bland. We also got calamari was so bad I didn t even eat it. I would go out of my way to ensure I never eat here again.

We dine with you probably 4 times a month and take several friends with us whom all enjoy everything. We particularly enjoy the staff. Madi,Isabelle, Mary and Michael the bartender are always so friendly and accommodating and make us feel very welcomed and never rushed.Sebastien always takes a minute to say hello as well.We really enjoy the food, atmosphere and service indwell continue to take new guests along with us for the experience. I ordered take out pizza over the phone prior to my pickup from the hotel. The female took a clear order over the phone and the instruction on how to pack the pizza sliced into the small box rather than a big flat box since I am a crew member and have to put the box inside my bag. I explained the timeline for pickup of pizza and my hotel pickup suggesting obviously the pizza needs to be done latest at a taxi pickup and gave them 1:30 h to get it done. The restaurant was not busy, just a few guests. I kept waiting at the entry desk and no one approached me for a few minutes. Then, I asked the server at the bar to call someone as I need to go. The food server came and after sometime came back with the 4 big pizza boxes, each big box had only one slice in it. I tried to make a joke of me going through the airport with the four pizza boxes in uniform. The female server ( possibly in-charge) got really offended by my remark and took boxes back to repack them while I waited again for a long time considering I was holding up the pickup.. What they were doing in the kitchen I do not know...... I asked the bar server to tell them to just give me a piece of foil to pack my pizza as I needed to be out the door now. The female server came out and scalded me that I was yelling. I just needed to go asap as everyone waited for me because of her inability to follow simple instruction. No common sense, lack of professionalism and inability to apologize in a way that is honest to be accepted. She could not accept humor, apologiized in dismissive manner that created very sour and shocking experience. She claimed I was aggressive to the server. She caused and created the whole incident due to her inability to follow simple instructions and putting the male server in situation with no direction and then bringing tension and stress on everyone. Dishonest apology. Too bad! It must be tough to work with this person. I love the hotel, but will avoid Carrabba.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Moncton, I tried Calamari, ceaser salad, Tomato basil soup,Tiramisu cake, Cheese cake,Chicken Bryan with Garlic Mashed Potatoes,Grilled salmon. All of these were really good, especially the grilled salmon and Calamari. The server was friendly, active, and attentive. Really enjoyed the food and ambiance on the new year nightHigly recommended for those who love Italian food.

We returned to Carrabba s after a disappointing first visit. The staff went out of their way to make this time a wonderful experience. A little pricier than some of the restaurants in town Sangria was good, food was okay. There was a lot on the menu I could not eat due to a tomato allergy and I dont eat fish. The soup was described as similar to italian wedding, I did not realize it was tomato based... Despite that I am willing to give it another try though.

My second time to this location (a year later) and this experience far surpassed the first. Love that homemade soups were added to mains and all the food was incredible. Im not a fan of chain food restaurants. But our experience at Carrabbas in Moncton was really nice. Great ambiance, really nice service and the food was super good and fresh. A really nice place to go as a couple or with your entire family. They have a child menu and its also fancy enough for the parents to have a good time.

This is definitely one of the best meals Ive had at a restaurant...EVER! The filet mignon melted in your mouth and the fresh pasta was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of herbs and garlic. And a sincere thanks to our server- Alexander. You topped the experience off brilliantly! He is definitely a great asset to the restaurant, and we will without a doubt be asking for his service for future reservations...

I had the mushroom ravioli, which was really good. But please dont miss out on their tiramisu!! Just wow. Took my little sister out for lunch who tends to be picky, and she absolutely enjoyed everything we ordered. It was a little busy when we arrived, which is also a good sign. The service was very friendly as well. I do recommend this spot.

Our waiter, Alex, was superb, very attentive. Our visit was on our 52nd wedding anniversary and he did his very best to make it special. We also appreciated the manager, Marcel, stopping by. All food was absolutely wonderful, so tasty and well portioned. We go to Moncton about every three months. Carrabbas has become one restaurant we go to every visit. That is the best compliment we can pay. Highly recommended.

Amazing Restaurant the food is Spectacular and the warming Bread with Oil is amazing appetizer, after comes a Beautiful soup my recommendation is the lentil and Sausage is so delicious on its Own., & it s FREE. After comes your Main dish never a dull moment. 10/10 Only Thing I would change is Maybe Have Customers come in wearing Clothing more acceptable than Socks and Sandals with Hats it s a beautiful Restaurant and classy, this is not McDonalds.

First time visit. Enjoyed the lunch specials. The food was delicious! Beautifully presented and exactly what was expected. Too full for dessert but we checked out the menu and we plan to return! They sound delicious and were very reasonably priced! Parking: During lunch hours, there can be free parking found along the street!

Awesome spot, have had incredible service time and time again including for a 90th birthday party. You have to try the Margerita pizza appetizer. Chicken parmesan is incredible.

Server was very attentive. Refilled beverage w/o being asked. When I asked if they had blue cheese dressing he checked and suggested a salad with cheese crumbles. Brought bread half way through meal when I requested it. Enjoyed the lasagna. Didn t realize it would be lacking ricotta cheese, maybe the lighting. When presented my Dine Rewards Card was informed that the establishment does not participate. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Wow! This place offers delish food and amazing service. We enjoyed everything about our visit from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We had calamari as a starter. The breading was amazing and the sauce to go with was very flavourful. For the main dish I had the chicken parm and lasagna with a soup for the side. Probably the best chicken parm I have ever had. The soup and lasagna was also top notch. Serving sides were good and I was pretty full when I left. Our server also was fantastic! She checked on us several times to ensure everything was tasting good. We will most def be back again. Parking: Parking is 9 dollars for 2 hours

I was told this was homemade, fresh , pasta made on-site. It was was horrible . 4 people with appetizers, drinks and food . I wouldnt go back .pasta was not fresh made. Appetizers, soup and tomato sauce all tasted like it came from the same can. Overpriced and way overrated.

This was our second time visiting Carrabba s and it was just as good as the first. Food is amazing. We were there on a Friday without a reservation, but were able to sit at the bar for a bit before they found us a table just before our mains came out.
