Worst customer service I have received in a long time. The male that served me was very rude and unprofessional. He added chicken instead of beef to my rice, checked to see if I saw ( he most likely thought I had not) and then removed the chicken(leaving pieces) and added my beef. I inquired about the missing corn salad in my rice bowl. He rudly said I did not ask for any. I can understand a misunderstanding.. the corn was not the issue but the attitude given was. I just left with my bowl missing corn and added chicken pieces that I did not want.

Walked in and there was no toilet paper left in the bathroom. Went to order chicken shawarma and the employee said chicken takes time, however there was clearly a lot of chicken left on the cooking machine. So I ordered beef instead. Service was very slow, employee in charge was very rude and seemed annoyed that we were ordering food. The food tasted like cardboard. Very disappointed by this bad experience. I do not recommend and will never go back.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the order taker. I was asking simple and polite questions about the menu, and instead of responding with patience, the guy became visibly frustrated. The person made a disrespectful tssh sound when I asked for clarification, which was very rude and unprofessional. If they were having difficulty understanding, it would have been much better to ask me again rather than reacting this way. Customer service should be about communication and patience, but this experience was far from that. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure a better experience for future customers. Food is awesome and been a Customer since the beginning and never happened this kind of service from here.

After going multiple times I can honestly say this place is a miss doesnt usually matter how they take youre order you never get it the way yoy ask, meat Is never cooked fully. Staff looks at you like you have 3 heads if you done want salad. Patotos often have cold under cooked mushy insides. And portions of meat dwell and dwell overpriced undercooked trash sorry not sorry

I am deeply disappointed with my recent order from Boustan Restaurant Moncton through UberEats. The chicken salad I received was a sorry excuse for a meal. Not only was it incomplete, missing the essential pita and sauces I PAID for, but the chicken itself was rubbery and leathery, giving off a stale odor that made my stomach turn. Also, no utensils provided as requested through the app. The portion size of the chicken wrap resembled something off a kids menu, hardly satisfying for an adult appetite. To add insult to injury, they have the audacity to overcharge for every thing, even condiments. Boustan in Moncton needs to learn the basics of portion sizing and customer satisfaction before they lose more loyal patrons like myself. Needless to say, I wont be ordering from them again.

They were good when they opened but quality has deteriorated over time and so has their service. Also, specials are no longer attractive.

Got a shawarma wrap but there s more cabbage in it than meat. Which is especially frustrating as I ordered no cabbage. Also why is there cabbage in it in the first place? wow... absolutely disgusting.... I was so excited to try after the great reviews... probably the worst food Ive ever received from a restaurant in my 46 years on earth. Had the junior schwarma which was caked with sauces and avacodo salad which is disgusting.... the falafel was gross and tasted strange and the schwarma was just weird.. so disappointing.

This had to be the most unorganized business that I have ever seen. Nice location and design. The front girl working cash was lovely and the only one who seemed to know where she was and what she was doing. The two men preparing the food had no sense of their job/duties. I was served my food after it sat on the back counter for 10 minutes. They forgot 3 different things in my order and forgot to top my shawarma bowl with veggies (just gave rice and meat and forgot the whole other step of prep) There were people who ordered before me and their food had been sitting, still waiting to be packed up even after I had received mine. Food was honestly a 3/10 on top of that. Really disappointing meal and experience for $35.00. :-( hopefully with time they will get it together!

Ordered the chicken sharwarma and it was really good. Good portion for its price and lived up to the rumors. Giving it 4 stars because the ordering experience was frustrating. The cashier couldnt take the order in English (i understand the restaurant hails from Montreal and perhaps the owner hired Francophones but cmon) and half the staff were slow, had deer-in-the-headlights-look, and seemed lost/unsure what to do which really slowed down the process when it was busy because the other half who knew how to work in a restaurant would need to come by and help/take over. Update: downgrading to 2 stars. Been here several times since this review was written. Food has been mediocre. Staffs unprofessionalism has been bugging me.

The price was terrific, the owner was working his butt of at the front counter and it was PACKED. Despite them being SUPER BUSY, the food was fast, hot, and perfect. Stood there for a good 5 minutes at the counter and no one on staff acknowledged us. One person walked away and went to the bathroom, another was eating behind the counter and the third was wiping cutting boards. We left.

When you go somewhere 3 times in one week for some good down home Lebanese (Im Egyptian), you write a review. Also, when you go in a Lebanese/Egyptian restaurant and only see Mediterranean people, you hope and sort of know its going to be good. We have been looking for good quick Shish Taouk (chicken shawarma) for some time; had tried a few spots across town, but none of them really took us there. Boustan is a name I know from my hometown of Montreal, and Im so glad theyre duplicating it in Moncton. Great food, hummus, vermicelli rice, taboulah and pickled turnips. Fresh, made to order but it is fast food. Portions are great; the bowls are especially large (Bowls are like the plates you would get elsewhere). The pita is well packaged and Im able to eat it without making a mess or eating the paper! Will be a regular stop for this household. Vegetarian options: 4-5 salad options, falafel, etc. Parking: Parking directly in front of entrance. Part of a larger complex, so sometimes might need to park along the way. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, 3 options that are an extension of the standard menu, just smaller portions. Wheelchair accessibility: accessible, no door opener, but no steps and accessible parking very close to entrance.

I have ordered delivery from here multiple times and it has never disappointed. Chicken, beef, and mixed shawarma all juicy and well seasoned. Falafel bowl is generous and flavourful. Prices are very reasonable and I find it far tastier than Mezza or Pita Pit. Must try for sure!

Best ever Lebanese food in Moncton.

Al Boustan is the ultimate Lebanese culinary experience! The food was amazing, and the flavors were truly authentic. Five stars for this Lebanese gem!

It s nice to be able to have something different like this, instead of always grabbing pizza or burgers. I really enjoyed my meal. The flavors are phenomenal. I had a bowl with chicken, pilaf, potatoes, coleslaw, hummus and garlic sauce. It was fantastic and HUGE! The portions are quite large and I ended up with leftovers, which were still delicious the following day. The price tag might be what some consider to be a bit high, but I think if you re able to get another meal out of it, it s a win. The one negative was the pita that came with it was kind of dry and stale. I m assuming that s just because it came as an extra and if you had ordered the pita as a wrap, they d warm it up and it d definitely taste better that way, I think. The staff was pleasant, but I did have a tough time hearing them. I m not sure if the music was too loud, if they were mumbling, or if my hearing is just failing me (real possibility). When I couldn t hear very well, I tried to rely on the menu board but then that got confusing because I swear it said I could only have one side (pilaf, rice or potatoes), and then they were saying to pick two but the menu board only said one? And same thing with sauces, they said I could pick however many. I asked both times if they meant for an additional charge, but I m pretty sure they said no lol. It didn t seem like the bill was higher than expected and I probably should have grabbed a receipt to be sure, but y know, it s a bad habit of mine to decline receipts. Our order was being prepared in a reasonable time, but when it hit the final step at the carving station, it just sat there for several minutes before someone finally resumed working on it (despite that person appearing to be available during that time). At the end of the day, all that matters is that my meal was good, and I ll definitely be back

Had the vegan bowl and it was fantastic. Reminded me of living in Montreal where they would make me custom vegan plates. Went back and got the vegan pita, and it was even better than I remember. They have lots of delicious veggie and vegan options (the garlic sauce is amazing). Highly recommended!

I finally decided to try out this new restaurant after driving past it on my way to Costco many times. It did not disappoint and is now my favorite Lebanese restaurant in Moncton! I love Lebanese food and I have been eating it for many years so I am very familiar with the menu. They offer a wide selection of different Lebanese foods. I ordered my favorite dish, the chicken Schwarma. There are two size options for the platter and I went with the smaller option for $14.49. They are so generous with their servings I had enough to do me for two meals! They loaded several heaping scoops of chicken schwarma onto my plate that was so tender and delicious. There are two rice options with the platter as well as a side dish of crispy potatoes and 5 salad options. I went with the avocado salad which was one of the 5 salads that is an extra charge of $1.49. This was well worth it as the salad was so delicious. There are 3 of the 5 salads that are free as a side and two that cost extra, mine and tabbouli salad for 0.75. There are five sauce options that are free. I had garlic sauce for the potatoes and Boustan sauce for the chicken. Both were amazing! Excellent value for your money as I could not believe how generous they were with each portion of the platter and the sauces. As I said, the flavor was outstanding and I can t wait to go back. Service was great as well as the indoor seating area although we sat outside on the lovely patio. I know this restaurant will do very well in Moncton! Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu which is great!

As a Middle Eastern man traveling from Toronto, I am spoiled when it comes to lebanese food in the city. When I saw Boustan in Moncton, I had to give it a try. Let me tell you, I was quite impressed, and can not wait to come again! First, the staff. Your staff working 9/11 at around 730pm were incredibly kind, patient, and happy to share with me their favorite items and recommendations. They were all friendly and courteous. Thank you for the service. The choices, well, youre quite spoiled, and I must say I was ready to try it all if my belly could. I ordered the largest bowl of half chicken and half beef shawarma. With bulgur pilaf, potatoes, fattoush salad, hummus, garlic sauce, boustan sauce, lemon dressing on the fattoush. I cant believe it fit in the bowl! The taste and quality. This is where I gave it a 4 for now. I will revisit and like to try it again in the store. I ate it at my hotel, and it was lukewarm, which is not your fault, but the portion of the meat vs. the other toppings left a little more to be desired. I didnt get much chicken, to be honest, and i got a decent amount of beef. But the flavors were top quality. The seasoning was on point, and I was very satisfied! Everything blended so well together, it was a party in my mouth and a taste of home for me. Thank you for delivering great customer service and great food for the locals here. See you again soon! We foolishly gave them 68 more dollars of our money. We finally got our avocado salads made with FROZEN avocado. Frozen which made the rest of our meal cold, if this review had a sound I would have tapped my fork against the frozen avocado so you could hear it. We want our 68 dollars back. Costco where you can buy fresh avocado is just down the street. I left a voice mail. You can call me for my email to e transfer me my money back.

The staff at this restaurant were so friendly and helpful. Their management should recognize how nice they are to customers. This was my first time eating here and I found their menu very confusing. It seems like everything came in a bowl style and I ended up getting three different types of salads. I really only enjoyed one of them because I found the salad was pre-made and must have been sitting for a while and was all very soggy. The chicken that came with it was absolutely delicious though and Im looking forward to trying something else on the menu. Parking: There a lot of restaurants here and parking seems tight especially because of McDonalds.

I was deeply disappointed with my recent dining experience at your restaurant, which claims to be authentic. The dish I ordered was overwhelmingly crowded with ingredients, making it difficult to enjoy. Furthermore, the quality of the food was appalling, far from the flavors and standards one would expect from an establishment touting authenticity. This was one of the least authentic restaurants I ve encountered. Regrettably, I cannot recommend your restaurant to others based on this experience.

The menu is odd and the cashier could not tell me what was in the bowls . I think her English was very limited , but not sure. .. under Bowls I tried to order the Byblos bowl - which clearly stated includes protein of choice but the cashier told me that no meat comes with the dish (? ) even when I pointed it out , she said I would have to add meat for an additional cost. So , I ended up ordering a Saj bowl thinking it looked similar to a schwarma bowl . I asked the cashier what was in it potatoes , vegetables , chicken but no , it was a wrap , cut into smaller pieces. The menu could offer descriptions. Portion was large , food was ok but won t be back.
