Catch22 Lobster Bar in Moncton

Love wont go back. This was a great seafood restaurant. Why let feoreithe seafood linguine which is no longer available on the menu. Ordered scallop Alfredo, very dry had to ask for extra saice. Saw chef reheating meal with a blow torch very disappointed in the new menu.

Great service and atmosphere is nice

My experience at this seafood restaurant was somewhat mixed. The food itself was flavorful, with the mussels standing out as a highlight, but there were several areas that could use improvement. Firstly, the presentation of the dishes could be enhanced; the plates were oversized for the portions served, which made the meals appear sparse and didn t do the dishes justice. I ordered the chicken, and while it had good flavor, it was unfortunately overcooked, which impacted the overall enjoyment of the meal. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that there was no complementary bread offered, which would have been perfect for dipping in the mussel sauce and rounding out the dining experience. As this was my first visit to Moncton, I selected this restaurant based on positive reviews and its convenient location near my hotel. While I did enjoy aspects of the meal, the inconsistencies ultimately left me with a mediocre impression. Overall, I d rate the experience a 3/5.

There were 7 of us for dinner. Our server was Jaqueline (I think ). She was amazing!! It was hugs all around when we were leaving. The food was fabulous!

We were a group of ten to celebrate my birthday, so they had us in a small room in the back. We were very happy to be seated in a more private place, but as soon as we sat down, we noticed a very unpleasant, musty smell. It seems there was water damage and the carpet still is quite smelly. We were placed in the main dining area promptly when we mentionned to the staff that the backroom wasnt pleasant.The food was great (seafood crepe, linguine, casserole and haddock filet) except the chicken stir fry. The chicken was horrible...like it had been cooked, refrigerated, heated again a few times over. When I had a taste of it, I could tell there was definitely something off. The person didnt want to make a fuss and didnt say anyting, but I definitely wouldve return the dish. Even if most had a great meal and appreciated the restaurant, none of us really want to go back.

I don t understand the good reviews, Food was not good. The lobster was over cooked and cost $70 for steamed lobster with just butter and fries on the side. The crab cakes were like moist saw dust, tasted really bad. The one star is just for the mussels. Service was bad, waitress kept asking us to pick and put down stuff for her. Save some money and go somewhere with good food.

I called in for a reservation and practiced my French while doing so. They were very kind to me about it. Me and my grandma showed up 15 minutes early and they still sat us. We got our food delivered and cooked like immediately, in and out in an hour, without being rushed to do so. Water was filled like 24/7, totally amazing. Pricy? Absolutely. But its good.

Unfortunately we did not have a chance to eat here as they ran out of sea food

Excellent seafood dishes!

Very good food with very good service

My wife and I dined in the restaurant. The food was over cooked, the service was poor. I immediately felt sick after I ate and complained. An older woman came over and spoke to me. She claimed she was the manager. She was confrontational with me and blunt. She offered me a glass of sofa water. I said I didn t want to pay for the meal. She was then rude and offered to deduct the plate from my main course. She also said the cook would come out to talk to me but he never did. Very low quality food and an everything was low end. My wife s meal alone was 121.00. Far too expensive.

Overall the food was quite good, however, our waitress was absolutely horrible. She barely checked in on us and wasn t the greatest on conversation/opinions. We decided to give a small tip, but when she saw it she proceeded to say WOW . Which did upset us. Unfortunately, it didn t end there, when we were walking out she said don t come back here which really threw us off. We are from out of town and our first time visiting from BC. We had heard so many locals here are friendly but she was the EXACT opposite. We wanted to thank you to the chef for bringing us side plates and our hostess for being so kind. But Loreanna was the worst waitress I have had.

We went tonight for my birthday dinner..table of 5..we all loved our meal

I have several food intolerances and I mentioned them to my waitress when I ordered, but she seemed to be rushing , as if she had no time to pay attention to my special needs, even though it was passed the dinner time rush, that they were 3 waitresses on the floor and that several tables were empty... Aside from the fact that it took a good 15 minutes before I even got a glass of water when I was assigned a table. I asked for my seafood and veggies to be cooked in oil, not butter, because I am dairy intolerant, and lactose is NOT the issue! Casein is. Because of my waitresses rush, I forgot to tell her to omit the rice (also intolerant) before they prepared my dish. My waitress had to return my dish to get the rice removed. The shrimp was well cooked, the scallops were overcooked and the veggies were the frozen kind and the broccoli was still cold and crunchy. By the time I finished my dish, I realized that it seemed as though there had been butter in my plate after all. I didnt have any discomfort right then and there, but as soon as I left the restaurant I felt my digestion get more and more uncomfortable. I decided to see if I could walk it off, but it didnt help. Back in my hotel room, I started getting cold chills and hot flashes and terrible heart burn with nausea. Definite food poisoning. The waitress was a friendly mama kind of person, but seemed overwhelmed with the tasks at hand. I also noticed the floor was sticky by the time I paid my bill, which then informed me that the hygiene and food safety of this place was not to be trusted. You would think that a seafood place in Atlantic Canada would be an trustworthy choice for local, quality and fresh flavours and produce, but here I am, still up at 3am, trying to soothe my food poisoning so I can finally get some much needed rest. Eat there at your own risk. Bleurk!

I can t comment on the food, as we couldn t get a table, on a dead, rainy Wednesday night, an hour and a half before closing. Even with several open tables. But I can tell ya the only thing mustier than the smell is the service.

Delicious well prepared food. I would have given 4.5 stars if I could. I had the Lobster Thermidor which was spectacular! Just the right amount of cheese and creamy mushroom lobster sauce. After cracking open the generous sized lobster claws I enjoyed dipping them into the thermidor sauce. The vegetables that accompanied my meal were a perfectly cooked buttery mix of carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and onion. The baked potato was delicious. The server promptly brought me sour cream when asked. There was no butter served with the baked potato, but the sour cream sufficed. My husband had the Seafood Jambalaya which consisted of a generous portion of shrimp cooked to perfection. His meal was delicious though somewhat oily. Despite the copious amount of oil he enjoyed his dinner immensely. For dessert, I had the Crème Brûlée. It arrived perfectly presented and the top cracked nicely when tapped with a spoon. Though perfectly cooked and hot on the outside, the center was cold. My husband had a tasty double serving of their delicious sorbet. As no one came by to check on our desserts, I went ahead and ate the cold area of the crème brûlée and it was still very tasty. I ordered a coffee that never arrived. As the server became busy with a large table in front we chose not to try to flag someone down for coffee. We waited patiently for the bill after finishing our desserts. For drinks with our meal I had a superbly spiced Bloody Caesar and my husband had a refreshing Iced Tea. We weren t asked if we wanted more drinks and ran out of water mid meal. Our server was busy and we weren t able to get more water until our dessert order. Other staff walked back and forth without offering to refill our water glasses or asking if we d like more drinks. Overall, this restaurant is a tremendously enjoyable experience and I highly recommend it. There were a few minor things that bothered me. When I arrived promptly for our reservation, it was quite busy. The hostess looked at me without smiling then when back to what she was doing. I stood in the doorway largely ignored for ten minutes. A smile and nod acknowledging my presence would have been welcoming while the hostess continued with her phone conversation. A friendly server sat me at 8:10. It took a while for our server to approach us. She was friendly when she came to our table and we liked her very much. Things that bothered me were staff walking back and forth empty handed past our table while we sat there with empty plates for fifteen minutes. No one took the initiative to remove our dirty dishes for our server. We were served dessert with dirty side plates and utensils on the table as well as empty drink glasses. I realize it s de rigeur these days to leave empty drink glasses on the table so people can see how much they ve drank in some establishments but that combined with the plates and utensils while eating our dessert was off putting. The servers seemed to work in a hands off each other s tables way rather than cooperatively clearing and checking on one another s tables. Including ourselves, I could see other people waiting unnecessarily too. All in all, it was an extremely busy Sunday evening which is a testament to the popularity and excellence of Catch 22. Overall an enjoyable dinner experience with a couple of minor hiccups. The food was excellent, the server was very friendly and we look forward to going back.

Good seafood restaurant. It took several minutes before he came to the table. I was getting up and leaving when a lady finally showed up at our table. The person who welcomed us seemed hesitant as if they had a full house but the restaurant never filled up during dinner. I had fried squid. The breading was tasty but lacked cooking. I like the crispy breading. The cooking of the squid on the other hand was perfect. The sauce is commercial. Too bad, they should develop their own sauce. The seafood chowder dish was good but lacked the white wine in the sauce. Creamy white sauce. Missing a basket of bread from the table. The plate of the person who accompanied me was quite full. 1/2 lobster, fish, scallops and shrimp with rice nest The crème brûlée was delicious but lacked firmness. It looked like a custard mixed with custard. The prices are reasonable. Despite everything I will surely come back

Went here to have their Full Lobster Dinner, and Seafood Alfredo. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! The Caesar Salad was a bit bland. Aside from that, everything was wonderful!

What a disappointment!!! We came here 2 years ago and our experience was such that we had tears in our eyes. We were so looking forward to coming back. We had the fried squid as a starter. These were tender but the breading which should have been crispy was soft, because it was not fried enough. Served with store-bought sauce without lemon wedge. Also, the portion was tiny. The garlic snails were okay and should have been served with bread in order to mop up the remaining butter at the bottom of the holes. We had to order garlic bread to finish the garlic butter! As for the Catch 22 Fishermans platter: Half lobster overcooked. 2 Crab cakes, 4cm in diameter, overcooked and not very tasty. Salad a little wilted. 2 small shrimps which, on the other hand, were good. 2 correct scallops. Small portion of rice ok. The only positive side of this dinner was the very friendly service. After this disappointing experience, we will never go back.

We were visiting from Toronto and decided to give this place a try. Staff was friendly, however, food was very mediocre. I could ve made a better Cajun seafood stir fry at home. Carrots were extremely overcooked and the stir fried shrimps were steamed. Will not be returning.

I recently visited Catch22 Moncton Seafood Restaurant with high expectations, given its 4.4-star Google rating. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, we anticipated great food and service but were quickly disappointed. We asked for a table for two and, although the place was busy, it wasnt overwhelming. After a 10-minute wait, we were seated in a booth and given menus. Our waiter approached us 10 minutes later to offer water. I asked if the salmon on the menu was baked, to which the waiter responded with an obnoxious and shocked look, taking two minutes to answer, It s broiled, with a supercilious attitude. I was confused, wondering if my simple question had somehow offended her. When she asked if we wanted beverages, we declined. We then waited another 15 minutes for her return, only to notice that the table behind us, which arrived 10 minutes after us, was already enjoying their starters. At that moment, it became clear that the service at Catch22 was severely lacking. Frustrated, I immediately stood up and walked out. I still can t understand why asking if the salmon was baked was met with such disdain. Just going through the reviews older than 6 months accurately paints a better picture of this place. It seems the recent high ratings are misleading. This review reflects my personal experience at Catch22 Moncton Seafood Restaurant. Its disheartening to see how unreliable these star ratings can be. I m relieved I didn t waste more of my time and money.

We will be going back next time we go to Moncton. The food was incredible, the service was amazing and so accommodating with our two kids and the drinks were fantastic. I had the seafood casserole, and my husband had the seafood linguine, and both were utter perfection. The serving size was enough to feed our younger kids and ourselves and be full. We have a 1 year old, and they were very prompt about getting a highchair for her and giving her lots of attention, which she loved. I could not say enough good things about this restaurant! Also, if you are looking for a refreshing drink, I highly recommend the Tom Collins!

Our waitress Jess, dynamic, friendly and above all good advice. As a starter, maple scallops and bacon... OMG, it tastes like heaven. As a main course, the captains plate. Everything was there: lobster, scallops, shrimp, white fish fillet and crab cake. It was divinely good. For dessert, perfectly crunchy crème brûlée, a sin without regrets. The bill may seem a little steep but the freshness of the products is worth every $. As long as youre eating lobster and seafood, theres no doubt, this is the best restaurant to choose.

Visiting town for the week and promised myself that I would try out some seafood restaurants in the area. Heard great things about Catch 22 and gave it a try with some colleagues. We were told that the Fisherman s Platter was a featured and well-loved item, so decided to go ahead with that. Happy to say that the meal was very enjoyable. Food was fresh and tasted great. Sadly I was too stuffed afterwards to try out any of the desserts. Service and atmosphere was great as well so I would definitely recommend this to anyone hoping to give it a try.

Very good meal overall. Very tasty and well-filled seafood chowder. I would have liked to have bread to accompany my chowder but I was not offered any The haddock with lobster sauce was succulent. I am a person with a good appetite so without bread and with somewhat small portions, I was left a little hungry. I highly recommend it for fish and seafood lovers.

We decided to have one indulgent seafood night. We were not disappointed by Catch 22. Our server was good, and the food was delicious. Our dishes had copious amounts of seafood. My beautiful wife enjoyed it thoroughly, and shes just recently acquiring a liking for seafood. The selection on the menu is quite extensive. So, go there hungry, or plan repeat visits. Was in town for short time and the food was so delicious we came back the next day. Great food, awesome service, and good price. The only thing that wasnt 100% was crab cakes. You must have the mussels and order bread to dip in the sauce. Parking: Street parking is free in the evening.

A lobster bar with no lobster... I know its out of season but when half your menu features lobster you really should have some available. The portions are really small and nothing to write home about. Would not recommend.

OMG! The fishermans plate is very good and generous! (See attached photo) But in my opinion, the #1 meal at CATCH 22 is the Seafood Fettucini... IN-CRO-YA-BLE!!! Our party of three had a fabulous dinner at Catch 22 tonight. Jess was our server and she was excellent. The chicken dishes were as good as the seafood dishes. Everything tasted great and we couldn t have enjoyed it more.

The place smells so bad. 3 small (like really small) pieces of crab cake $13 and fish gratin super mini plate for 18$ (that was the recommendation of the host!!!) and then if you ask for a piece of bread well that will cost 6!!! Don t waste your time nor your money

Great atmosphere and service. The food was also very good. I started with maple bacon wrapped scallops and they were delicious. Ordered the seafood linguine and it was a little heavy on the cheese flavour which overpowered the actual seafood flavours. It was all in all a great dining experience and certainly recommend giving it a try.

Best seafood restaurant in Moncton!

I had reservations for Friday June 2 and I had to reschedule to Thursday June 1st I missed both dates, due to family rescheduling on me. I am from Toronto and this will be my very first time not going when I m in Moncton. You have no idea how upset I am. I always ask for Jessica. She is my favourite server in this entire world I have one more day here I m going to try my absolute best to get there. Even if I have to go alone. I ll be in sackville. Amazing food here and our server made excellent recommendations not just for food but for beers too. The best seafood Alfredo that I ve ever had and everyone who got the Catch 22 Platter raved about how tasty everything was, specifically the large scallops. Great service from Nicky. The restaurant was busy on a Thursday night but the food arrived quickly. We ordered the haddock in lobster sauce and the coquilles St Jacques; both were delicious. I would eat here again!

Came in on a super busy night, but the staff were so friendly and efficient that the wait went by quick! The food was all very fresh and well seasoned, and I loved how cheesy the escargot were. Will definitely be back!!

Well , had the chowder and the cajun stir fry The chowder was ok , a couple of nice piece of fish, good flavor The cajun stir fry had decent portion, lot of scallops and shrimp but cheap chili sauce with a dash of tabasco is definitely not anywhere near cajun flavor, way too sweet.. Price is decent for what you get

I went here with my son and husband. The staff was fantastic. We got seated right away. I had the lobster dinner, my husband had the seafood platter and my son had chicken strips and fries. They had a good selection to choose from. They also had a kids menue. My lobster came my choice of a baked potato and veggies. The lobster was delicious. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and they had butter and seasonings on them. Absolutely delicious. My husband and son also enjoyed their meals. The wait staff was attentive and great with my son who is 6. Great food and staff. Would recommend. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options Parking: There is a paid parking lot right behind the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Staff was great with my son. They have a kids menue and crayons to colour.

Laurianne was great with us. Food was incredible. Was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for; it was a homerun meal. I came to the maritimes from Montreal for seafood, and Catch 22 is the right place to be. Had the escargos gratiné, rockefeller oysters, lobster chowder, lobster meal, and garlic bread. Will come back here when I m in town again.

This restaurant was a highlight on our recent Canadian east coast trip. We came here for dinner ready to devour some serious seafood and were not disappointed. Plenty of kudos are in order, starting with: 1. Excellent Customer Service and Speed of Service During our travels, speed of service to receive our ordered food was hit and miss. Catch 22 was definitely a hit. We were in a time crunch to get to another event and I gotta say, we were in and out of the restaurant within almost 1 hour of time. The place was packed and they still found a way to get us our food quickly without any negative impacts to food quality. Our waitress was patient, attentive and very professional. 2. Tasty Food They offered seafood dishes that we haven t seen anywhere else. Great selection. We ordered the Cajun Seafood Stir Fry, Seafood Alfredo Linguini and the Catch 22 Fisherman s Platter. The Cajun Seafood Stir Fry was delicious and had a great spicy kick to it with plenty of seafood on rice. I didn t taste the Seafood linguini but my son finished the plate clean in 10 minutes so that tells you something. I had the Catch 22 Fisherman s Platter which is a big smorgasbord of seafood and it was plentiful and delicious. Portion sizes were decent. 3. Pricing Very reasonable for the portion size and quality of the food. I highly recommend Catch 22 for a nice dinner if you re in around Moncton. Great service, tasty food and affordable prices. Pleasant atmosphere, polite and attentive staff. Everything we ordered was delicious.

We ate here last night (August 8, 2023) and it was amazing. Everything was exactly as advertised and the food tasted amazing. I had the Catch22 Seafood Platter (along with 6 others in my group). Everyone loved it! I also had the seafood chowder - also amazing. Lots of seafood in there so it was worth it. I read the negative reviews before coming and everything that people complained about did not happen to my group. Highly recommend this place. Our server Jackie was outstanding too. She was nice and friendly, which was a great representation of the Canadian east coast hospitality. Kid-friendliness: Our group had 5 kids (ages 9 to 13). They all loved the food and ate it all, which should tell you how good it was. Kids are not the easiest to please, especially when it comes to seafood. They all loved it and finished everything.

Reservations for our group of 7 were made ahead of time and I strongly suggest you do the same. People were being turned away on a Tuesday night. As busy as they were, our food/beverages came promptly and efficiently. The beer was cold and my strawberry margarita hit the spot. Most of us opted for an array of appetizers rather than a meal. I tried my first crab cakes here... not my cup of tea but those who tasted them, loved them. I think I expected more of a fishy texture rather than mashed potatoes. Having said that, they are almost a meal in themselves. I had 4 with a side of tartar sauce. My husband and I also ordered Seafood Gratin, Caesar Salad, Mariner Mussel Steamer, Fisherman Platter, and Seafood Chowder. We shared most dishes and everything was piping hot, crispy where it should be, flavourful... I could go on, but you have to come and see for yourself. Lori-Ann had her hands full with us and she kept right on top of things. She contributed to a delightful evening with the family. The meal was pricey, but it was our first meal on holiday and we tried a little bit of everything! No regrets; well be back to try what we missed the first time. Parking: Not impossible to park. Dont be afraid to walk for 10 minutes and youll be fine.

Went to visit NB from Toronto was searching for very good seafood restaurants came cross this restaurant, was very impressed with the appetizers, main course and the dessert. Price was very reasonable, my wife was satisfied it is very hard to please her

The food wasnt as good as they advertised, I choose a mix platter with salmon, halibut, shrimp and scallops that didnt arrived in my plate, to pricey for the amount of food and quality, that restaurant was my only disappointment in Moncton

Decided to try this place based on the good reviews. But I must disagree with all the great reviews. The food is mediocre at best. The seafood chowder was overly salty and greasy. The haddock fillet dinner was overly dry. The lobster chowder and the seafood crepe was ok. Definitely nothing to write home about ... there are better options in Moncton for seafood ;-o

After eating here, I am truly confused by the good reviews. The servers were friendly and attentive, but the food was brutal. We are doing a seafood restaurant tour and saw the excellent reviews about Catch 22. We decided to try it as we are trying to find the best places in the Maritimes. The food came out really quickly. The lobster gratin was very watery and lacked flavour. The Cajun seafood stir-fry didn t taste fresh; the scallops were rubbery. The seafood Alfredo tasted like something you would get at East Side Mario s: salty and store-bought cream sauce. I don t particularly appreciate writing bad reviews about independent restaurants, but I want to warn others driving 10-plus hours in hopes of a worthwhile experience.

We shared the fresh oysters and the Catch 22 fishermans platter (1|2 lobster, shrimp, scallops, haddock & crab cakes). Everything was good, the chef seasonnings were on point, and we were especially impressed by the scallops. The lady serving us was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great dinner! (especially after 7 days of camping...)

The Crab cakes tasted like cheap fish and they were under seasoned. I couldn t eat after 1 bite! Lobster roll was ok. decent amount of meat. The fries were great The seafood chowder had only 2 scallops, 2 shrimp, 1 small piece of lobster and mostly potatoes. Overall extremely underwhelming

We were excited to visit Catch 22. But left disappointed. The food is average like other reviews mentioned (agreed). The lobster chowder was a bit salty and tasted like from the can (I might be wrong but that s what it felt like). Bouillabaisse was blend. The lobster roll was ok. But the bun was cold. Therefore, my husband didn t really enjoyed it. Gratin was ok but too greasy for me personally. From the positive side: the service was good, the food came out quickly and the dessert was delicious. Unfortunately, I doubt we will be returning there. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is available. Which is always a plus.

The food was fantastic! Portion sizes were smaller than expected. Service was quite slow a 9pm dinner with a few other diners.

The lobster was good but kind of small. The fish & chips was ok but was made of haddock (not cod), the tartar sauce tasted like a commercial one, the breading was thin and not fluffy. So... Overall, the food was ok but not outstanding (as expected). And it was a bit pricey.

At first I was really looking forward to this place. The reviews was solid and it was our FIRST stop continuing and trying with other seafood restaurants. For me it was disappointing - as we ordered the Catch22 Fisherman platter which half lobster, scallop, haddock and crab cake. The crab cake was the worst I ve ever had. Didn t seem to have any crab cake in it or was just over cooked. The shrimp was not fresh as it didn t have the crispness and I ve eaten many shrimps before. The haddock was okay but compared to other haddocks at PEI restaurants doesn t match up. Lobster was fine but with all the sauce you couldn t really enjoy the freshness. Honestly - if it s your first seafood platter it s okay but compared to other seafood lobster dinners it s average at best.

We arrived at 9:00 p.m. to get a table, the hostess told us that it was full even though there were free tables and the restaurant closed at 10:00 p.m.

Lovely meal in Moncton. We had the lobster chowder, pasta, lobster cocktail. Service was very friendly but slow (short staffed). Was very tasty food, portion sizing (and by default, price) seems a little off.. Would recommend it for service and taste - especially the chowder.

Visited the East Coast for a week with my daughter and came across this lovely, cozy little place. Excellent, friendly staff and delicious food! We tried their Chowder and Fishermans Platter then finished with their delicious deserts - Creme Brulee and raspberry New York Cheesecake...im drooling just thinking it about it all while typing this lol

Fantastic experience! Great little seafood restaurant. Very charming and the staff was WONDERFUL! Quite possibly the best fries Ive ever had as well. I dont know what they season them with, but I would buy it if they put it in a jar.

We had scallops, garlic bread and sea food fried rice. They are all great. Especially sea food fried rice, it has a lot of vege. 4 slice of lobster, 4 scallops, 4 shrimps. The sauce is great. I will definitely visit again when Im in Moncton.

A good restaurant to go to to taste seafood. Their meals are delicious, the service is excellent. We received great service from our waitress. She was funny, kind and seemed to love her job. We had a great evening with friends.

My wife and I just finished a 2 week trip all over the maritime provinces and this was our favourite meal! The calamari appetizer was perfectly crisp, my seafood casserole was the ultimate comfort food, and her seafood platter was overflowing with deliciousness! This place is a hidden gem! We went to Catch 22 on our out East tour and ordered multiple seafood dishes. The food was impeccable, Jess was an amazing server letting us know what dishes were good and even showing us how to get all the meat out of the lobster we had. I highly recommend the Bacon Wrapped Scallops, the Bouillabaisse Chowder and the Fisherman Platter. The speed in which the food came out and the quality of the food was top notch! I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Moncton!

Was visiting Moncton and wanted to find something that I couldn t get back home in Calgary. Wasn t interested in a chain restaurant. Found this place with the help of Google Maps. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. The great service started when I first walked in the door where I was greeted with a smile and led straight to a table. Enjoyed a pint of beer that I can t get at home. I can t remember the name of it, but it was an ale. Then ordered the Fisherman s Platter. It was so good. Then the waitress talked me into a crème brûlée and I don t very often eat dessert, but this one was worth it! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed Catch 22 so much that we dined here twice in one week. Every item we tried during the two visits was amazing. The red menu items are the most popular. We did order some food that was not listed in red as well. The food not listed in red was just as tasty as the red listed menu items. This restaurant is a gem. I cant wait to come back here for my third visit!

Excellent service. No problem fulfilling my dietary needs due to some intolerances. 4 of us had various seafood dishes - all delicious. Came from west coast to have some Atlantic lobster. Not disappointed. Highly recommend

Excellent seafood restaurant in downtown Moncton. Great service and cozy booths. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time as this is a popular restaurant and is always busy. Everything tasted amazing particularly the seafood pasta. Desserts are delicious and the flambé is done right at your table. Its a fun to watch it being made. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Food was below average. Dont get the 5 star reviews! Overcooked seafood which was pretty disappointing. Our waitress was always in a hurry to get away from us, wasnt paying attention to our order. Hostess was friendly and nice though. The drink was icy instead of slushy. Weird vibe overall.
