Cinta Ria Malaysian Restaurant in Moncton

We were fabulously impressed by the food quality, service and taste. Plates are well presented, delicious, well proportioned. In the past two weeks, we have been in Houston TX, Montréal Qc, Ottawa ON. Cinta Ria Malaysian is a total surprise and the best we have been in this fall. Well done folks, and thank you Louis, for introducing us to this jewel.

What a great spot! Food was delicious. Laksa was great on a cold day.

I work outside and today was a chilly day, I was chilled to the bone, and wanted something hot so I went in today on my break and ordered the Laska soup and it was very tasty! I had it to go but the atmosphere seemed very warm and welcoming while I waited for my soup. The hostess was very polite and friendly. I am going to return for in house dining soon! Thank you for the great service today andI look forward to dining in!

Just moving back to the city I was beyond excited to revisit this gem! We got take out and everything was packed with obvious care. The food was absolutely incredible! From the soup with noodles to peanut skewers, pot stickers and roti they really hit it out of the park! Will 100% be back! Please support this business, they deserve it!

Ordered Roti, Satay Peanuts and Char Kway Teow today, first two were really good, not so much CKT. At first it was way too Salty, then they remade one and this time the rice noodle is too hard and still somewhat salty. Service is amazing though.

Great atmosphere and food.

Cannot recommend this place more, stumbled upon it after weeks of enduring burgers and fries on our roadtrip and what a gem. The laksa was next level and the curry chicken with coconut rice was absolutely delicious. We had such a delicious meal, with the best service! The curry laksa was wonderful, as well as the steamed dumplings.

Surprisingly wonderful meal in Moncton. 4 of us shared an order of curry puffs, beef rendang, curry laksa and mee goreng mamak. All very tasty and came out quick. Next time, I would order more mains instead of the curry puffs, which I found were a bit on the small side.

Awesome entrees. Dim sum was okay. Really enjoyed the flavours. Timing of food delivery to table was a little frustrating as one entree didnt come until halfway through the meal. The first one delivered came with the appetizers, which was unexpected. Even still, we enjoyed the food enough we will give them another chance next time we are in the area.

Food is delicious, especially the custard bun and the beef rendang, but the service was a bit slow. Understandable though. Highly recommended.

I ve been obsessing about eating here since the last time I was here visiting from Dartmouth. Thanks so much, this is the most my kids have eaten in one sitting ever.

This is hands down our favorite restaurant in the Greater Moncton area. We are proud to consider ourselves regulars. The owner and her staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and make every visit such a wonderful experience. Whether we are there for a regular family of 3 meal, dining as a group of 10 with visiting family/friends, or anything in between, they go out of their way to make us feel welcome and special. I believe we have tried everything on menu and have never, ever had a bad dish. Everything is so incredibly flavorful. A few of our extra favorites are the wonton nachos, steamed custard buns, cheese roti, laksa soup, makhani, and mee goreng mamak. But legitimately, you can t go wrong. Absolutely give this restaurant a try!!

If you like asian food, this a great place to eat. The chicken satay skewer appetizers and the singapore noodles with char siu are the best. The prices are very reasonable and the serving is excellent.

I ve been enjoying this restaurant when passing through Moncton for ten years. Their consistently great service and excellent food has never disappointed. As far as I know, it s the only Malaysian food in the Maritimes. The prices are great too. You should try it! We would love to see gado gado and kropek on the menu next time we stop in. :)

Looking for an Asian restaurant with great service, flavourful and fresh dishes, in a clean and updated venue? Look no further, this is the place to go. My husband and I were tired of eating your typical Canadian-Asian-fried-everything restaurant, that left you so thirsty you could drink a gallon of water and still not quench your thirst. Our first time in Cinta Ria was 3 weeks ago, and we came back again tonight, as my husband was craving the various fresh and delicious tasting flavours one can find here. So far we ve tried their Curry Chicken (a little spicy, but so delicious) we got ours served with coconut rice as per our server s suggestion, Beef Rendang (slow cooked beef, very tender), Singapore Noodles with chicken, Mango Salad, Har gow (steamed shrimp dumpling), and roti. Everything we ve eaten so far was delish!! Service is excellent, server took the time to explain the various dishes and made some excellent suggestions. We had the Mango Salad and Har gow both times. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant, and we look forward in trying different items next time we go.

Mango salad for $12 was disappointing. Small portion and soggy salad. Chicken curry tasted good but tiny pot with 4 pieces of chicken for $24. Wife had satay chicken, I thought it was bland. Overpriced and underwhelming. Not worth $64 for 2 people.

Our family loved this place with its highly authentic and hearty food. We ordered several dishes (roti canai, roti cheese, curry puffs, pineapple curry, Singapore noodles) and every one was on point! It takes me back to my Malaysian vacation and the food there.

I ate in here just recently and I like their food and the rabina drink ( i think thats whats its called). Their soup and peanut satay i think was very delicious!

Omg. What a nice surprise. Was looking for something new and glad I picked here. We had the share appetizer plate. Mmm good. The salad was just amazing. I wanted more. Then our main course. Again wow. I copied a pic because I forgot to take one of my plate, so that way I will remember what we had. It was so good. A sweet taste to it. All very well balanced. I shall be back. Have loved every meal Ive tried so far... wonderful food, terrific service and pleasant environment. And now so happy to see a few all-day dim sum items on the menu!! I so miss dim sum after moving from Ottawa. Some are made in-house, each served with its own complementary sauce and all delicious. Love love love this restaurant.

Visited today with my mom and we both agree that it was one of the tastiest best meals we have had in a long time. And the owner was the one serving us and was just the sweetest lady. Will be back for sure!

This is one of my favourite go to restaurants. Everything Ive tried has always been amazing. My family has never done dine in with our busy lives, but even getting take out, the food is so good! We have never had a wrong order or a bad experience here! Vegetarian options: You can ask for your dish to be made vegetarian if possible and there is no issue. You can also ask for vegan. Dietary restrictions: You can request gluten free. Parking: They have their own parking lot, but it has limited spots as it is shared.

The pineapple curry is delicious

Huge hit for Cinta Ria! I saw a positive review on local review page and thought I would try for myself. This is the Char Ria Wonton noodle entrée 17.99$. It had lots of pork (you cant see all of it in the picture), noodles and broccoli and a couple wontons, as take out. Savory and so delicious. They did not disappoint. Great service too and super quick! I highly recommend!

Girlfriend and I had a show at 6:30. We got there around 5:20, and they were busy. A few minutes in, we got worried about making our show - our own problem and fault, not theirs. So I approached the folks at the cash and let them know wed decided to leave - not because of a bad experience, just our own tight timeline. Well, they instantly offered to take our order and asked for a rush in the kitchen. I felt so bad, I knew it was our own fault for trying to get in and out so quick, but the staff were so sweet and helpful. We got our food ten minutes later and it was delicious. We scarfed it down and made our show. While Id definitely show up earlier next time because I really feel bad getting preferential treatment, I have to give them top marks for making us feel so welcome and well looked after. This is our 3rd time here and Cinta Ria continues to impress. I had Chicken Curry and my wife had Nasi Goreng. The decor is very nice, the service is excellent. The lemon ice tea and Jasmine tea were very tasty as well.

Loved the food. You can order the extra sauce; youll want to slurp it back. The service was polite but be prepared that parking is a bit of an issue, so plan for that and dont take it out on the staff :) A great addition to DT. Dietary restrictions: They had lots of gluten-free options and had all different types of accommodations listed. Parking: Parking is limited so walk from work if you can or plan a little extra time to get yourself a spot.

Great restaurant to go too. The food was so delicious and definitely worth the price. The servers and owner were very friendly. They recently renovated making it look spectacular. Definitely one of my go to places in Moncton.

Food was OK but I had 2 problems with this takeout order. The price of the food was not the same as the menu online. A $15 item became a $20 item. Not the end of the world but an annoyance. No utensils with this takeout order. Yes, I should have asked, and they should have at least offered. I wound up having to go to the nearby hotel restaurant for utensils.

This restaurant has great food, and unique flavors. We had the wonton nachos and the shrimp butter cream. So delicious ! Our waitress was friendly and on point, even though she was the only one serving quite a few tables.

3 days into a business trip to Moncton we had all become tired of fried food and we missed vegetables (french fries dont count as veggies!). We found this place and we were very pleased. The food was good, fresh, flavourful and reasonably priced. The service was great. There were a couple of tasty beers we hadnt heard of before. Definitely worth another visit the next time Im in town.

I absolutely *love* Cinta Ria! The ambiance in the restaurant is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic and the presentation is lovely. The spicy options are really spicy, which we love! The menu offers a great variety of dishes and theres a fair amount of customization available with multiple protein options for most dishes. Weve also ordered delivery many times and it always arrives pipping hot and theres never been a mistake with our order. I recently brought a client there and they highly praised the food. 10/10 recommend!

When I was eating my food I found a piece of a broken china in my mouth which hurt my gum. I showed them but they gave me the bill to pay for that !?!?!

Went there with friends and ordered all the famous ones they recommended. My friend got the Singapore noodles and she bite into a big peace of broken China dish in her noodles which damaged her mouth and teeth . We showed that big piece ! They asked if she wants another one! She was afraid of taking another bite! They charged us the dish ! They didnt even care for our friends damages! The food is very mediocre Take a look into your food before eating there !

Makhani was amazing!!

On a trip to east coast and after an over dose of seafood we decided to try our this place based purely on reviews. It was packed when we arrived at 7:30, glad we made a reservation before hand. We ordered their house lemon iced tea, and chrysanthemum tea. For appetizers we ordered beef satay and laksa soup with chicken. The food and drinks arrived very quickly. The beef satay was exceptional, as per our son who is kind of an expert on satay ;-) the peanut sauce was just perfect! the laksa was great too, it s not too spicy certainly not as spicy as we had in Singapore. For mains we ordered Singapore noodles with chicken and nasi goreng (friend rice) with shrimp. They messed up the shrimp rice and gave us chicken instead. However they were quick to rectify their mistake and got us the shrimp fried rice promptly. The vermicelli noodles were light with curry flavour not too spicy and still packed with flavour.. The fried rice was special with the sambal flavour shining through. The crispy chips and egg on top added to the crunch and presentation. The portions were just about right, we were a party of 3 - two adults and a 12 year old and we could finish everything. Overall, great experience, the servers were also quite good.. We recommend you to check it out if you are in this area.. This place totally deserves its rating.

The only bad part about this place is trying not to order everything on the menu. Absolutely delicious from top to bottom. I will be recommending this to all of my friends who travel through or live in Moncton. Vegetarian options: Plethora of veggie options!

This is my boyfriends and my favorite spot to eat anywheres in Altantic Canada. We come here multiple times and EVERYTIME its amazing. Impeccable atmosphere and consistent standards make this resturant easily the best place to eat. Once a month we drive from Fredericton just to eat here. If you want an affordable AMAZING experience please gige this place a go. Out of 10+ the experiende has always been perfect.

Everything we had was delicious

Slipped in without a reservation, apparently. On the way to NS and stopped for some food..... Every single item we had was so good! My favorite was the Roti As busy as they were, it was super fast service! Friendly staff. And the restaurant was so clean and fresh feeling. My son was even super excited that they had chop sticks!! Definitely be back.

Do not get the tofu peanut satay: the sauce doesn t taste very good, the tofu were literal uncooked slabs. The Mee Goreng Mamak was pretty good and so was the Roti Canai. The waitresses couldn t give us a recommendation beyond what was popular. The place was pretty nice though.

Modest decor and quiet setting with superior food. I had the pan-seared dumpling and the beef rendang and both were spot-on. Fresh, delicious rice and a slightly sweet, slightly hot pickled side dish with red chili. Bravo!

After living in Singapore for years i would say that their Char Kway Teow lacks flavor and is a bit dry. Chicken Satay too lacks flavor, the Roti is good but i hope the curry sauce they can improve. I wish they have Hainanese Chicken Rice or Nasi Lemak. Overall service and atmosphere is good

Our 1st time here. Our server is very pleasant and single handedly managed the 6 tables and skip the dishes orders. The food here are like the ones at Hawker centers. Really delish! We didnt have Curry Laksa today but we will definitely go back. Update: Finally had Curry Laksa, Beef Rendang and Butter Cream Chicken! We loved it!

I absolutely loved this place! I live in PEI, but Id drive down any weekend just to eat at Cinta Ria. Amazing food, fresh and flavorful. The owners and staff are also very warm and welcoming. Overall great experience. I strongly recommend trying them out the next time youre in town.

First time here and they said they just re-opened after renovation. Inside looks like a high end restaurant, but the most amazing thing is that the food actually is not behind the look of the interior. It is very delicious and each plate has a distinctive taste and flavor. We had Roti Canai, Mee Goreng Mamak and Mee Siam. They all were so good, that I got another plate of Mee Goreng Mamak (I was hungry and tired after all day hikes anyway). Staff is friendly and polite. Very good find overall! Keep going guys, dont let your mark down on quality.

The food was simply incredible. It blew my mind how good it was. The ambiance is nice, the place well decorated, the waiters are polite and attentive. The food was bomb, as expressed before. We chose the satay peanut and Mee Goreng Mamak. It was a hard choice to make because the whole menu was very tempting. They serve great portions and its affordable. No doubt an excellent quality and quantity to price ratio. If youre in Moncton, look no further for a place to have dinner... Thank me later!

Delicious food. We ordered chicken skewers, spring rolls, chicken curry (my favorite), Beef Rendang (another favorite) and roti canai , I highly recommend getting roti cannai with the curries. The restaurant is definitely pricey, but worth the price.

The service was good and the food was poor. We had the roti canai, curry laksa, char kuey teow, and beef rendang. I will definitely not be returning.

Not just the foods, the experience is great too. Had dinner with friend last weekend. We ordered Laksa and I love it so much, that it s very similar with what I had in Singapore. Well the CKT I ordered did not meet my expectations so we gave feedback to the restaurant. They immediately ask me more details and make a new portion for me to takeout! The food is 100% meets expectations. The customer service is 120% exceeded our expectations!

Can t say I ve had authentic Malaysian food but this might be the closest I ll get in Canada. Service was 10/10, places like this remind what customer service should be. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was amazing. I wish I took pictures of our food but it was gone as fast as it came out. I ll definitely be stopping in Moncton next time just to eat here.

Food was presented nicely. Decent portions but very dry, I had to flag down a server to ask for extra sauce since not a single server came to check on our table the whole 2.5 hours we were there. They came super quick to give our receipts, party of 8 and then didnt come to take payment so about 20 min later we all got up to pay at the front conjesting the front entrance since no one came to our table to take payment and we had to go since 2.5 hours was plenty of time. Poor servers dont have enough help, running around without being able to provide quality service. So its not their fault, but service over all was extremely poor.

Id suggest booking a reservation before going as when we went there most of the table were either filled or is reserved. It was a Friday dinner. The service is excellent. We didnt have to ask for our water be refilled or our plates be taken out of the table. The waitress that time just cleared our plates after a few minutes we finished our appetizers and refilled our water as soon as we emptied it. The restaurant looks nice and clean. The staff are friendly and very polite too. As for the food. I personally find some of the food we ordered a bit bland and others are really good but according to my friend who was with me that time the food I find a bit bland was okay. Id suggest trying their MUST TRIES as it was one of those I ordered that I enjoyed very much. Parking: Parking is hard at busy hours so I suggest parking at the nearby parking spots like Service NB and walk to the restaurant as there isnt much parking space.

A beautiful restaurant with delicious south Asian food. We tried chicken curry which was one of the best I had, Wonton Nachos and curry laksa which was delicious! I would recommend getting a reservation and try the new items that are authentic. Butter chicken was okay so not recommended. Overall, a great place to dine in and the staff is super! Parking might be an issue as it is in downtown (Main Street).

Ive always enjoyed the food and its some of the best Asian cuisine in Moncton. Theyve recently updated their interior dining room and its now a much more hip/modern restaurant to match the delicious food. Portion size is great!

A great dinner experience: gracious service, nice ambiance and decor, and fair prices. Had the canai roti as an appetizer followed by the beef rendang, along with an ice cold can of Asahi beer. The food was delicious and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I wish I lived closer to Moncton, Malay / Indonesian food is so hard to find in Canada...

Food tased ok and plain but quantity was very very less and too pricey, Not worth $20 Makhani.

Tried this for the first time and did not disappoint. Delicious meals and appetizers that they were able to make vegan. Great service at a good price.

As a starter I had the fried balls (kind of ravioli) with pork with sauce, then the chicken curry with coconut milk rice (extra charge) and a roti (kind of nan bread - also extra charge). Excellent. For dessert, mango ice cream with crispy pieces of fruit but I cant say what it is. In total, $50 with 18% tip and taxes. A bit expensive for one person. Other aspects: clean toilets, simple decor, menu mainly in English and we dont speak French. Polite and friendly staff.

Another great Moncton restaurant. I was really impressed with the all the flavors. We upgraded our rice to coconut milk rice. I also recommend you do it. It was my first time eating Malaysian food and I was really impressed. Going to be one of my regular go to now.

I d give 6 stars if I could. I ve travelled all over South-East Asia in search of the best chicken curry, and I ve literally found it in Moncton, New Brunswick.. seriously the best chicken curry I ve ever had. Should also mention the excellent service and setting as well. Bravo

I m Malaysian, and let me tell you that this food is so tasty and authentic! Eating at cinta ria felt like I was eating food back home in Malaysia. The staff are so warm and friendly. The food is fresh! It was wonderful to finally taste this food that my good friend had been telling me about for so long. I highly recommend cinta ria and will be going next time I m in moncton! :)

Excellent food !! Just stopped by for lunch and will be dreaming about the food again for sure! Favourite pick was the Kuala Lumpur rice with chicken ontop! They also have the best chilli sauce! Best of all the chicken is halal!

Great portion sizes for reasonable prices. Ordered the KL Chicken Rice and Singaporean noodles w/ Char Siu & Shrimp. Rice dish was simple yet flavorful. Singaporean noodles couldve used less oil, but I suppose the char siu was the culprit here. A bit more seasoning to the dish wouldve made it perfect!

Everytime I go there the food and service is amazing. The rotis are awesome and all the dishes from the skewers to the lemon chicken is awesome. Dont forget to upgrade your rice to coconut rice

So delicious. We tried the butter cream chicken, the lemon chicken, the roti and the roti bomb. Everything was super good, service was great. Very well worth the price. One of my new favorite place.

This is an amazing place. Service is friendly and quick. Cinta Ria is pronounced Chinta Ria it means love and happiness. It has a Quant, small, clean and relaxing atmosphere. Check it out it is worth it the food is amazing and Ida the owner wonderful lady shared, in a few months you will also get to experience the new face lift they have planned, so go now then you get to see the difference. They offer eat in or take out you can pick up or order on line at my.cinta.ria they are open six days a week from 11:30am-8pm Tue, Wed, Thurs, Sun and Fri, Sat from 11:30am- 8:30pm, closed on Mondays. It is located on Robinson St behind the Toronto Dominion Bank, so if you go in the evening you can then walk Main St and enjoy a variety of night clubs in the area, or pop in during lunch and enjoy their lunch specials, service is quick so it works great for a lunch hour. I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with William and Muskin who were there for their first time. They shared how pleased they were with the restaurant, the food and they deffinately will be returning. Never thought I would have the best malaysian food outside of Malaysia in Moncton, NB. I felt I was right back in Georgetown, Penang eating Char Kway Teow from hawker stalls. Family friendly vibes, good and rapid service and delicious food. Cant go wrong with this restaurant. Reservation may be required.

We have eaten once inside the restaurant and have gotten take out from here more often. The staff has always been pleasant and the service has been quick. The flavors are nice and mild for beginner palates. The prices are slightly high for the portion size, but the quality keeps us coming back. We try something new each time we order, but always make sure to get their Signature salad and the Makhani with Tofu and Beef Rendang with Coconut Milk Rice. (Today we experimented with Chicken Rendang Tacos - so strange with the toasted coconut in it and yet, I couldn t stop going back for more. Definitely worth a try. I hope it stays on the menu permanently.)
