Stopped into Jeans Restaurant while on a work trip and I have to say my experience was above expectations. The decor speaks local as does the friendly service from the very passionate and hard working team. As crowed as it was this day, they never lost notice of me for drinks and food promptness. The food was super delicious, even if it was breakfast (and obviously wasnt just heated from a frozen big box) What really hit home was their awareness of the date and time and their public request for a minute of silence in memory of your soldiers. You could hear a pin drop as people sat and reflected (wouldnt get that in a big breakfast franchise chain IMO.) I doubt Jeans Restaurant even needs this review but I felt it was well deserved considering my experience and the number of occasions Ive have to eat breakfast where I didnt feel this way. #veteransday #restaurants #Moncton #fivestarservice

Ordered a BLT with sweet potato fries and DIDNT receive the fries...she even mentioned that it cheaper and then never brought them...mentioned it to her again and she asked if we wanted dessert? Husband said she didnt even get her supper. I left still hungry

Ordered seafood chowder and it was so watered down and more potato chunks than fish. Garlic toast was just okay, a bit burnt on one side. Wait time was 38 mins. I heard this was a great place to eat this soup but very disappointed - lesson learned should have looked at the reviews first. And note the cost is way too high for this dish.

We were disappointed with our meals, even though it seemed to be a busy place for dinner. The fries were overdone and crispy, the chicken gravy was bland and cool, and both of our meals were lukewarm. In addition, I have dietary restrictions, so ordered a diet Pepsi. I received a regular Pepsi, and the only way I knew was because my husband can taste the difference! Wait staff must pay attention to a customers diet needs. Dietary restrictions: Our server didnt pay attention at all.

Go to place for a home style meal. Breakfast served all day. Great staff, does get busy at times though!

On 8/7/24 - Dinner: Jeanne s Restaurant, Moncton, New Brunswick It was very nice to find a non-chained restaurant in the mall area of Moncton. Husband and I shared an excellent fisherman s platter with fried haddock, shrimp, scallops and clams. Clams were to die for. Excellent, cheerful service by Jennifer. Very friendly place with downhome atmosphere. Choice of wines limited: Red or White. Rate 4 out of 5.

If the locals eat here, then it has great service and great food. It did not disappoint.

My family and I had lunch here this afternoon. I ve eaten here a few times with my partner and it was always great. However, today was very different. The food was soggy and cold. Now, back home with my family, we are experiencing cold sweats, nausea, vomiting, and feeling completely unwell. I ll never return to this place.

For lunch, I had an English muffin with ham and cheese and it came on a cold bun with two small pieces of cold kraft cheese and a small piece of ham in triangles, $9.99 for that, really disappointing. Restaurant to avoid for a good lunch.

Look old but the food is good

Paid $104.00 for a piece of lasagna, small Caesar salad, clam & fries and haddock dinner. Disgusting food!! Fries were soaked in grease. For a restaurant that advertises plates for $10-$20 we still can t figure out how our bill totaled $104 Never ever will I waste my money there again!

The food was very good. Tasty hot and fresh. The service was relatively quick and very friendly. The peanut butter cheesecake pie was really good, but the coconut cream pie was so so.

Well the noodles in the beef stir fry tasted like Mr noodles and i could barely eat them. The noodles were all stuck together like they were reheated after 3 days. My wifes vegetables were sll raw in her stir fry. The meal was way to expensive for what it was worth

Me and three friends came down for Atlantic Nationals and really wanted to give a local joint a fair shake. We went for a mid day meal around 2:30pm on Saturday the restaurant was half empty but we ended up waiting for over 50 minutes to get our food. Once we did get our food the nachos were horribly overcooked and the beef tastes like rubber, the rest of the food was acceptable at best but no one would be willing to come back in the group. On top of the long wait and bad food the server had an attitude and couldn t figure out how to bill us correctly I do not recommend coming here.

Came here because of the reviews. Definitely wouldn t be back, most of the food was just fine, my friend got nachos and the beef on it was absolutely burnt. Our server had no personality, seemed too busy with making coffee and sweeping the floor.. she brought the bill and assumed we were all paying together without asking and when she brought it over she dropped it and ran off so finally when she came back we told her the bills were separate but she didn t know how to fix it and when we mentioned the beef being burnt she didn t offer to comp the cost of adding the beef??

I fled from the sight of my free hotel breakfast, and wound up here because it was the first place I walked past. The breakfast was delicious, the service ridiculously fast, and the staff made me feel like a regular. My favorite place in Canada so far.

Walked in, were seated immediately, were served by our waitress in a very short time, very friendly, out going folks, good with a hint or suggestion, and always a smile ! The food was on time for how flat out busy it was, hot and delicous, nacho appy too start, and a roast turkey dinner for my spouce, an i had the 3 piece fish an chips, but swapd the chips for onion rings.... delicous !!!

It was a nice visit. The food, service and atmosphere were reminiscent of an older style family restaurant. The only negative thing I could say is that it got super busy quickly with two birthday groups at once. And thats not really a negative thing.

Worst experience! Waited an hour to get a seafood chowder that only had potatoes, scallop, and shrimp, the garlic bread was burnt and my side of pan fries was cold (as if they were left out for an hour). The server was rude throughout the ordeal, she takes the pan fries off the bill and tells me thats how the seafood chowder is (she lists what I said and then the second time said there was haddock in it, where?). Wont be coming back. To be treated horribly, to overpay for that? No thanks!

The staff was super friendly, and the place was clean. The food, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. It was my birthday and the waitress did wish me a happy birthday when we paid our bill. I ordered the Mac & Cheese burger. It came undressed, which is okay - there was ketchup at the table. The mac and cheese was fried, as you would expect, but imagine my surprise when I took a bite and it was KD on the inside. Without curves the noodles just went everywhere, spilling out with every bite. The burger felt like it had never heard of salt. Finally, lets talk about the gravy. When you order a burger with fries and get a side of gravy, you typically expect beef. Occasionally youll get chicken, and if its good chicken its okay. But never turkey, right? RIGHT? Wrong. They served a burger and fries with turkey gravy. The same gravy was served with my wifes seafood and fries. Dont get me wrong, it was a pretty decent turkey gravy. I believe it was made with real turkey drippings. It just wasnt the right gravy. With all that being said, I was always told that you should end bad news on something nice. Before I left I took a moment to relieve myself. Colour me surprised, but the bathroom was the nicest thing about this place.

Ordered a burger and fries at 11:00am. Fries were cold and tasted like they were cooked in old oil.

Just ok - we ordered the seafood chowder which was more like watery soup. The donairs are on a tortilla, not a pita and it s not freshly cut authentic donair meat. Disappointing for the Maritimes. Fries are pretty tasteless. Would not recommend. Friendly staff but forgot coleslaw, gave us wrong drink, food took a long time to come out.

Love this place, excellent food and staff, went out of their way to help me with my moms wheelchair. Doors could have better access for this reason so if alone may require assistance. Highly recommend the seafood chowder. Gravy at this place is the best!

Friendly Waitress , it feels Like Eating at Home . I had Breakfast at 1:15 Pm and it was just as Good as In the Morning ! And Their Soups Is REALLY HOMEMADE Also Bottomless Coffee Wheelchair accessibility: No steps but a ramp to the second Level inside to make it easy for a wheelchair!

Was introduced to this place when I was only 15 years old. In those days, codfish was plentiful, and I loved their homemade fish cakes. They were located on St. George Street back in the day. Their location may have changed, but the good food and excellent service, it has remained.

If you are looking for good home food, Jeans is the best place for a delicious meal. Had breakfast, Jeans Big Breakfast had a generous portion of food. Staff were super attentive and food was fast. Restaurant was packed and busy but that did not deter the service one bit, it was as if the Restaurant was empty. Server came by often and made sure we had our coffee. And that we were satisfied. And they have the BEST Lemon Mirange pie Ive ever had. Absolutely would stop here again next time I am in town. Thank you Amanda for exceptional service and a wonderful experience.

We went here for our team Christmas breakfast. The atmosphere great. The team serving us was great. We were a loud crowd. So thank you. Would i go back? No! The food was below average. I got the potatoes on the grill and they tasted more like cubed mashed potatoes. The bacon saved the meal.

Never ever again will we be eating there. Last night our server was rude, no smile, wrong order, luke warm food, our Eastern sandwich was wet soaked on 1 side, cold. We waited 35 minutes. She took the fries back cause they were cold and soaked in gravy. Brought back fries after 5 minutes, other waitress said she would get us a discount, i said we should not have to pay... but they took of very little. And to top that off the waitress was rude by taken our receipt off the table and crumbled up in our face and walked away. Never offered an apology a come again. She had problems as well the table next to us. The food was lousy. Never ever again. Use to be good but now, dont think so.

Went to jeans dinner for dinner and it was nasty, I had a eastern with fry s and ask for and gravy on side she brought me gravy on the fry s they where cold and my toast was all soggy .then when it came time to pay the waitress was so rude then she just grabbed the bills of the table we will never go there again .they said they would take it of bill but I don t think so cause it cost 36.52 for two coffee and a hot hamburger so watch your bills everybody

We were late arriving from out of town but never felt rushed. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered typical diner type food which was delicious. They accommodated my daughter who is a very selective eater. Would not hesitate to go back when we re in town!

Do not recommend. I had the seafood fettuccine. The mussel shells were mostly cracked and barried into my pasta which I almost put in my mouth. The steak was not seasoned just bland. No drink menu or appetizer amenu nor did they mention what was available. All wripped out in the menu. Wait time for food took soo long. People after us got our food before us. Seafood wasnt anything special as they say **best seafood** save yourself the mo wy and go somewhere else

My wife and I were staying in Moncton for the night and discovered Jeans as we searched for a supper alternative. What a fabulous local spot! Extensive menu from all day breakfast to full dinner items. Our server as well as other staff were very attentive and our food was both delicious and perfect temperature. Pricing well within a family budget. We enjoyed ourselves.

Where to start...... There are no trained chefs in that kitchen, there cant be given how terrible the food is. The waitress even admitted to me everything is frozen. Nothing is fresh, you want to pay $25 for a frozen heated up meal then go for it but thats insane. I had the Legend Burger, thinking with a name like that it would be good but omg it was terrible. There was absolutely no seasoning, it was dry and was hard as a hockey puck. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said well theyre frozen so take about 15 min to cook. This is insane, you should not be charging people for frozen burgers. I had the sweet potato fries with the burger and they were soggy and greasy, the grease was dripping out of them. The atmosphere is outdated and the walls were dirty. We sat at a booth and the wall next to me was covered in filth, food splatter etc it was nasty. Overall I would not recommend going here as the food is terrible, the service was okay but the atmosphere is outdated and quite filthy.

Food was delicious got take out. Was charged 9.00 for two cans of pop. Ask for a refund for pops. I found out that the take out person made an error and charged me for fountain drinks so I didnt check the receipt i would been over charge.

I recently learned that Jeans has gluten free options. Ive enjoyed their liver & onions and their eggs, bacon & toasts (gluten free bread in a dedicated fryer). They dont have gluten free gravy so certain meals arent an option unless you bring your own gravy (which Im willing to do) & they heat it up for you. I want to try their hamburg steak dinner. The staff are friendly and attentive. Im definitely going back.
