I normally don t share reviews of restaurants however, I was so impressed by the quality of the food, the service and the whole atmosphere of this restaurant that I would fly back to New Brunswick just to eat here again. Really was an all-around amazing experience. The food was phenomenal and if you re ever in Moncton, you need to eat here.

Perfect little romantic spot for a date night. Came here to celebrate an anniversary, and it couldnt have gone any better. I keep editing my post, trying to include everything, but I am unsuccessful and just keep yammering. Essentially : every little detail was an elevated experience. The food, the drink and pairing, and almost importantly, the service. It was all at a level which I hadnt experienced before. You will need to go to see for yourself. Dont sleep on this place! Please take this as a sign to have a date night at Little Louis. Dietary restrictions: We have a severe food allergy, and it easily was accommodated by the chef and kitchen. We are very thankful for this . Parking: Cables, but there is a free parking lot. Moderate amount of spaces and easy to get in and out of. Wheelchair accessibility: The front door has buttons to open. The restaurant is on the second floor, but there is an elevator. However, there is room for only 1 wheelchair at a time.

From oysters to scallops and fine meats, like the tender lamb, or sweet and tasty cod; its all for your enjoyment and pleasure. Stellar service. Dare I say one of the best restaurants the Maritimes has to offer. Merci beaucoup!

Moncton has something special here. I stopped here during my cross-Canada railway trip, and it was one of the better dining experiences I ve had. Walking in, I was a little wary going to a restaurant located above a hardware store in a small strip outside downtown. But once you step off the elevator, the atmosphere changes completely. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the reception was welcoming. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful. I had the halibut cheek and frisée, and my wife had duo de beef and the raw oysters. Both our meals were prepared perfectly, and exceeded our expectations. You could go to any major city, pay twice as much for a meal, and still not have as good an experience as Little Louis provides. So, for the other travelers who find themselves passing through New Brunswick, don t miss this gem. It s worth the short detour.

Amazing gem of a restaurant, located on the second floor just off the downtown Moncton. Service was right on point with wine paired precisely with our meal. I had the local waygu steak served with blue cheese. Fresh oysters on the half shell to start the meal. Simply Amazing start to finish

From start to finish the service and dishes were excellent. Service by Youssef was top notch. We enjoyed a variety of cooked oysters, scallops, and halibut. Only critique is that while the pappardelle with lobster were very tasty, the portion was sub optimal. Baked Alaska was delicious.

This was our second time here. First was in 2015, rated it 10/10 then with how good the food was, excellent service, and great atmosphere. Fast forward to 2024, the food was even better. Presentation, taste, and service was good. We went on a busy night, service was a little slower than we would have wanted but we get it, the place was busy. Overall, the food is worth it! Will definitely go back again!

I have not had better service or food anywhere, we have dined there several times and consistently have the same wonderful experiences.

Service and quality of food was fantastic.

We went here for our wedding anniversary and it was one of the most unforgettable places we ve been to. They don t have a kids menu but they make special meal for kids and our son loved the pasta so much that he ordered twice!

Very good dining experience as always. Very consistent with quality and service. I opted for 3 small plates and was not disappointed. Youssef is a very attentive and knowledgeable server. The scallops ceviche was great on taste and presentation.

Cozy environment with good customer service. The meals were delicious.

Fiancé and I went at 6:47 pm. Restaurant had two tables being used and 98% empty. Asked if we had a reservation, said no. Then waitress said she doesn t think she can serve us. I said the restaurant is empty. She said they have a limited amount of servers and a small kitchen. I understand if you say there will be a bit of a wait. But you can t serve us at all? Racist.

Dinner for 4 last night , appetizers were ok ( raw oyster and Japanese style oyster ) main course Halibut a little fishy , lamb were good but accompagnement a disaster Very disappointed from my last memory from this place

The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the tuna tartare, oysters au naturale, and beef wagyu as it was the special. The atmosphere could be improved perhaps with dimmed lighting to make it more intimate. One of the best restaurants in NB.

Had the absolute, most amazing experience at Little Louis for our wedding dinner. The service from Karen was above and beyond my expectations - she was kind, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. The food was exceptional as well. All 12 of our guests were impressed with the entire experience - the holy grail of a wedding dinner. Thank you to Little Louis! We will definitely be back when we come to Moncton again

Party of six, went for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. All six of us were absolutely thrilled with the food and service. I personally have been to many upscale and fine dining restaurants and I can easy say that I can not remember having a better meal anywhere. Cheers to little Louis!!!

Halibut and lobster pasta. Both delicious. Honestly the meal was fantastic.

I have eaten all over the world this is one of the best I have had the honour to eat in. Every course was delicious, the wine recommended was amazing and the staff extremely friendly. Will definitely revisit next time I am in Moncton.

Visiting Moncton for the week-end, called at 4pm on Saturday and were lucky that they had a cancellation for that evening. Wonderful atmosphere, three piece band played quietly in the background. Service was excellent. We had the Tasters Menu with the wine pairing and each course was perfect! We were at the restaurant for 3 1/2 hours, no worries about being rushed. Highly recommended!

We are from Ottawa and went to Little Louis last night for our Anniversary. This was not our first time and it wont be our last! We have traveled quite extensively and Little Louis is my favourite restaurant...in the world! Its a gastronomic experience that will stay with you! The food is beyond delicious! The servers are friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. I cant wait to go back.

Disappointed today :( I ordered 3 appetizers and I got them all at the same time as opposed to the traditional one at a time you would expect from a higher end restaurant. The waiter never came by to check in on anything or take our order for the main dishes I had to wait a while to order main dishes long after I finished my appetizers. I usually love eating oysters however, my experience here with the oysters was not good. I found they were not fresh enough, felt as if it had been opened for a few hours ago . Main was good but still not happy because of the service.

Impeccable welcome in a sober and original decor. Tasting menu with food and wine pairing, synonymous with paradise for the epicurean! A succession of refined, tasty, inventive and superbly presented dishes, all served professionally and perfectly balanced by Michael! Both my wife and I choose the chefs choice, six course meal. Every portion was perfect. The service staff was exemplary and you never felt rushed or bothered. I highly recommend Little Louis for a special night out.

Please make a point to stop here! The chef will impress you with well-balanced flavours and surprising flavour combinations. The portion sizes are just right. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful evening out together here and very much enjoyed our attentive and friendly server, Michael. When we mentioned being fans of astronomy, he pointed out to us that it was the anniversary of the moon landing today. Great conversation, atmosphere, decor, staff and amazing food. We will be back.

This place is unique in every way,live music,great atmosphere and unbelievable food .sensational from the minute you arrive to the almost impossible task of having to leave.

I dont like writing bad reviews, but this is exactly the case -- disappointment. Atmosphere and decorations are perfect, but then complimentary soup- i didnt like it, but this is my taste. Next - row oysters- clean and good, but baked ones - almost same taste as the soup. Filet mignon- I asked for medium well - I got well done. Guys - this is not a cheap place, they must know how to cook filet mignon!!! Finally a very personal comment from the waitress ruined everything completely. Three stars for decorations and reception services- was very helpful.

Went here tonight to celebrate our 6th yr wedding anniversary and couldnt be happier that I picked this resto. We did the chef tasting menu (6-course meal with wine pairing!!) Omg, delish!!! Food quality was top notch and staff were all awesome! Highly recommend and we ll def be back .

Everything was going perfectly...a very well made martini, a complimentary amuse bouche, delicious oysters. However, we then asked to cancel one dish as our 3 appetizers were quite filling. The server said we couldnt cancel our order, but it didnt come for over 20 minutes, so we are quite positive it could have been canceled. So, we were served a $48 swordfish plate that we couldnt eat. It went back to the kitchen virtually untouched. My lasting feeling about this restaurant will be that the waiter made us follow through on that order, and we wont be back. Ruined my night actually.

I LOVE this restaurant. We often visit as a group from work, where we are hosted for information sessions. The staff are very attentive, my water glass (and wine glass) is never empty, nor is there a moment to have to ASK for it to be filled . The food is always fantastic, and rich, flavorful, and just the right portion considering. The restaurant is hidden in what resembles a strip mall on the 2nd floor (...) but the atmosphere is so enchanting when you arrive. Unfortunately (for you all) I dont know much about the pricing/menu otherwise, but I imagine it is equally as lovely.

Omg thank god for Google Reviews. If you drove by you wouldn t think to drop in. But I will tell you, if you don t come here you are missing out on some of the most amazing, finely prepared dishes you will ever have. I have eaten at Michelin restaurants and this stacks up to those. The flavours and pairings are just outstanding. Our waitress Karen was so friendly and so knowledgeable, explaining every dish and ingredient. You won t be disappointed

What a taste pleasure!

Good classic french inspired cuisine with local ingredients. Service was good, although they forgot we ordered the wine pairing and realised 3 services in, so it was too late. Wine menu is mostly new-world, lacking some choices from France and Italia. We ended up paying approx. 300$ including tax and tips for 2 tasting menu, one cocktail each and a glass of wine. Overall, very good food, but I have seen better quality-price ratio. I would probably go back just for the lobster papardelle, which has been a staple at this restaurant for more than 10 years (or 30).

Generally excellent, but the tasting menu midweek was a bit of a disappointment

After hearing about how amazing this restaurant was for so long, it was finally my time to try. The scallop appetizer had a touch of pork belly, which was surprising and absolutely delicious. The beef main was to die for. I also stole a few bites from my date s Caesar salad, and lamb. Both were equally decadent. I can t wait for my next time here there will be many!

This is an unreal experience. Everything was great. We had a very attentive waite . I believe he is the dining room manager and has been there since the beginning (18 years), Youssef, if my memory serves me correctly. They have a huge wine list. We enjoyed Oysters, a Lobster Cappuccino (out of this world), Beef Tartar, and the Butter poached Lobster pasta which was lick thos plate good! This is Fine Dining. The Chefs and staff go out of their way.

I struggle to find anything bad to say about the place. It is an upscale restaurant so expect to pay more for higher quality food, but what you get is so, so good. My wife and I wanted to have a reason to dress up so we choose Little Louis and were very pleased. If I could say anything at all, it would be the that the chairs are slightly uncomfortable. That the worst thing I could say at all. Everything else was easily the best experience I could have asked for.

Odd location for such a nice little getaway. Great ambiance and staff. Since this was my first taste of Little Louis, I tried their fixed menu. Food was well prepared, but some pieces missed the mark. Overall it was presented nicely and the martini - stirred not shaken. Pictures are worth 1000 words.

So for those that dont know, LL is (objectively) the best restaurant in Moncton and is the highest level of dining that you could get in Atlantic Canada. The flip side is that youll pay accordingly. Portions arent overly big but the taste is exceptional no matter what you get. Highly recommended for anyone thats looking for superior food with quality service

Be prepared for one of the best meals you will ever have! Service and food is world class, you will not leave this establishment disappointed.

Food is mostly great, a few bad experiences but definitely rare occurrences. Service from our waitress recently was a bit snarky and definitely one of the slowest service we ve experienced. Nothing to make cocktails but she was the one who suggested we start with cocktails while waiting for our party to arrive. Appetizers took over 1.5h to come out after our order. And desserts also took for ever, yet we were the only ones left in the dining room.

Wonderful pairings! We had the chefs tasting menu with wine pairings. We asked for one substitution with main course choices and the chef graciously agreed. Such wonderful flavours, from explosions of taste to subtle details. We would highly recommend Little Louis. It was a fantastic night celebrating our 25th anniversary!

Wow, just wow. You ever have one of those meals where you just ask, did that just really happen? Across from some sort of mill or plant and in a working-class area, this highly classy restaurant is well hidden, as others have stated. However, it would not be out of place going toe-to-toe with the finest of NYC establishments. Some have said that the place is pricy, but what do you expect? You should expect to pay a premium for a meal this sophisticated, locally sourced, and accompanied by such exceptional service. Maybe we were fortunate to benefit from the (currently) strong U.S. dollar, but we found our meal to be a relative bargain. This is Michelin level dining, Id say 1 star with 2 star potential (They dont rate in Canada). Not to be missed!
