I hate to put a bad comment. But Saturday November 30th I went to eat with a friend and I was the only one who ate mussels in white wine. I was so sick afterwards, 24 hours of vomiting my life and being on the toilet .... the other day having a stomach ache ... I advise you not to take seafood. I am really disappointed. apart from this food poisoning, the waitress was super smiley and the atmosphere very great.

I loved my food here. We ate there 2 years ago and I still think about the cheese fondue appetizer we had. It had apples, cheese, and home made beer bread. Our waiter told us to eat it all together and it was amazing with his recommendations!

This is a great spot to have a drink of the local flavors. And the support they give to firefighters is amazing, I hope the owners are proud!

Amazing place and atmosphere!

Everything was good, especially the house made German chocolate Stout cake. Would do dessert again any time.

Very nice place to stop for a beer and a meal. Nice warm atmosphere and casual.

Dog friendly patio. Staff was friendly and even brought our dog a water bowl. Food was great and the inside atmosphere looked inviting. The patio is on a quiet street and theres a parking right next to it.

Absolutely amazing drafts and food. Must try the beer mussels and smoked beef sandwich! Their salad dressings also made in house. Service was a bit spotty though and the gnats/flies flying around are a nuisance.

Solidly bland craft beer, slightly better than what the majors brew. If you re really into craft beer, best try another place. I can t comment about the food, however (I didn t have any).

I recently visited The Pump House and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for a casual night out. One of the highlights of our visit was the flights of beer. The variety of craft beers offered was impressive, and it was a great way to sample different brews and find new favorites. The pizza was another standout perfectly cooked with a deliciously crisp crust and generous toppings. We also tried the nachos, which were loaded with flavor and the perfect accompaniment to our drinks. Overall, The Pump House exceeded our expectations with its great food, excellent beer selection, and warm hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable dining experience.

Good service, good beer, but the food leaves something to be desired.

The food is not great: awful pizza crust and our medium rare steak was well done to say the least. The service was good.

A little too touristy and industrial. Nothing really exceptional. On the other hand, the beer is surprising even though they seemed rather generic. Nothing super extravagant or delicious, but it works. Prices are more expensive than the rest of the province. This is downtown, difficult for parking.

Waited an hour for our 4 dishes on a Wednesday. Not impressed. The waitress told us the cause was a trivia game held and organized by the restaurant on Wednesdays. Even less impressed.

Dont get the quesadilla, not even 1 gram of chicken less cheese all tucked into a small tortilla for $20 now I have to order another lunch from somewhere else because Im still as hungry as I was before this disappointment!

Every time I m in Moncton for the night I make it my mission to have dinner here. My go to is always a burger and blueberry beer. The food and drinks never disappoints and I never leave hungry. Super professional and friendly staff, even with the house packed the food comes fast, fresh and hot. Thank you Pump House , can t wait to return.

Was at the Pump House- Brewpub & Restaurant yesterday for an afternoon snack with my wife. Not only was the outside terrace very nice, but the food was good and there service just awsome. There was this waiter called Dave or David, he was a polite, dynamic and very customer oriented. We really enjoyed our moment. Thank You Vegetarian options: Vegetable plate with Humus, fried Zucchini, Tzatziki trempette, and some very good thin kindsa of bread

Exactly what you d expect. Beer is on point. Food was good. Service was outstanding. Shout out to the bartender he was extremely fast, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The kolsch is a great light beer. The dry riblets are a perfect snack to accompany your beer. I have been here before. Nothing changed. Quality product, quality service. Would recommend.

Tuesday June 4,2024, evening time, I stood there for 7 minutes nobody came to ask me anything, but other were let in.

Great beers, good pub food, awesome terrace. Love their stout. I have ordered their wings, pizza, spinach dip and club sandwich and everything is always on point!

The patio was lovely. The server, Julia was so wonderful! She took extra care and precaution with my dietary restrictions, was very friendly and helpful. I had the bison burger with some modifications and it was absolute perfection! Made my trip to Moncton all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be a return customer:)

The staff was amazing. We showed up ten minutes before the menu changed at ten but they bent over backwards and got us an amazing meal. At least one person said this is the best burger Ive had since we got to Moncton. I liked the mussels so much I drank the beer sauce. Hope we didnt put you guys out too much, while you our night. Vegetarian options: The sweet potato fries were excellent.

Prices are decent for the amount of food and for sure get yourself a Radler beer

The food was delicious besides dessert, for some reason the pie was served ice cold. Where the restaurant really lost points was the service. Our server Kamille was incredibly rude from the very beginning of the meal and had a horrible attitude. Definitely put a damper on the meal. Would go back if it weren t for the chances of having her serve us again.

IRDKY, Ordered The Burger That Ate Moncton and I just felt the food was meh! . Was much on the dryer side and the seasoning was also bland. The presentation was also just average. I recommend on switching up things in the menu.

Im a HUGE fan of their blueberry ale, and the vibe there is just perfect!

Honestly, I love the pumphouse for the nostalgia. The food has gone considerably downhill. Id highly recommend the pizzas (more specifically garlic fingers), everything else is ok. I dont love that theyre so eager for last call and love to close the place down when youre a paying customer. The worst was being seated beside a couple and overhearing the waitress say I pay for you guys to sit here because I share tips with the kitchen, so you should really tip... Although I do agree tip is customary, its not required, and that is absolutely rude. Youve guaranteed yourself never having them again. All in all, great place for a brew but dont expect any miracles. Ill always love the pumphouse, its just not the same as it used to be.

Pumphouse is my favorite place for something to eat and drink when we are in Moncton. Love the wings and pizza. Nice selection of their in house beers. Staff are fantastic, very friendly. Always a good time. Our server last ,Martin , was awsome.

Big hit for #PumpHouse for #MonctonBurgerFest. Their Fire Chief Reuben Burger is amazing. There is a flavor bomb in every bite. The smoked meat adds a level of flavor that cant be beat. Then the coleslaw takes it to a whole new level. The PumpHouse always has great food and great beer.

It is an informal place to spend a pleasant time together and drink a good craft beer, the spinach dip with cheese is delicious and the pizza is the best of Moncton, especially the meat and cheese varieties.

Place was nice, clean, my bartender was really nice and hard working. My stout was tasty and so was the Jalapeño mac & cheese Super disappointed that the world Jrs gold game was on but had no audio. Canada was literally playing for gold and I couldn t even hear the volume. Its not like anyone was there to bother them.

Lots of great apps, fun, exciting atmosphere. Food was good, BBQ chicken pizza could have used a little more chicken, because at the end of the day we all like lots of chicken

We had our monthly boys night at Pump House, and we will be back! Although it wasnt very busy, the atmosphere was top-notch. Being surrounded by industrial brewing equipment made it a special environment.

Pizzas are pretty darn good here; there s a wood fired brick oven here! (smokeshow This Spicy little number combines in-house smoked brisket and pulled pork, roasted red peppers, red onion, a pepper-jack cheese, and is topped with our Fire Chiefs Red Ale BBQ sauce ). Beer recs: Blueberry ale and any of the radlers (or go for the flight!!) Service can be hit or miss. Feb 2023

Great atmosphere great service but... We had pizza and fish and chips (haddock) . The pizza was undercooked and cheap ingredients with a pita crust ? The fish smelled fishy and was just a full of oil.. (deap fryer not hot enough ?) I hadnt been at this restaurant in like 5 years since then I would say the food went downhill..

One can see the mice run from one place to another and when you inform the waiters they tell you, you should have squashed it That nasty!

Went here for a date night dinner. Service was awesome, we sat in a booth that looked like a barrel, and had delicious food and drinks! Totally recommend the Jalapeno Bacon Mac and Cheese!

We moved from Vancouver where there is a huge foodie culture and had heard wonderful things about the Pump House and were excited to go. Both times we have been it has been an absolutely terrible experience. The food was good and the waitresses do the best job they can, but the management is RIDICULOUS there. We witnessed a waitress being spoken to so harshly in front of us AND she was running for her tables! They were so busy and the manager ripped her apart with no regard for humiliating her in front of patrons. Absolutely disgusting way to treat your employees. Sadly we wont go back there.

My favorite place in Moncton by far. Everything is on point! Variety of beer is outstanding, and all delicious. The Blueberry Ale and the Muddy River Stout always stand out in particular. The food variety is also great and all top quality as well. Exactly why I stop by every time Im in from Halifax. Could recommend enough!

French follows. Very few places are open on a Monday evening in downtown Moncton and this was just a walking distance from the hotel on this rainy Monday. Gets crowded and noise level increases exponentially as the crowd arrives. Service was quick and waitress was very professional. Food arrived quickly, steak comes with any sauce or gravy and they charge you extra???!! Steak was good but not good sizzling hot of the grill, lukewarm at best, gravy (extra $2) was hotter. Very few restaurants open on Monday evening in downtown Moncton and this one was within walking distance on this rainy Monday. The noise level increases rapidly with the arrival of new customers. The service is fast and the waitress is very friendly and professional. The meal was served quickly considering the traffic. ale steak is served without any sauce and they charge you extra for it. The steak was good but not very hot (didnt come out of the cooking grill), the sauce ($2 extra) was hotter than the steak, the latter was lukewarm at best.

Love this place. Great beer and nice comfortable atmosphere. Very popular with both locals and visitors. For the beer, best known for their Radler or Blueberry craft beer. Their pizzas are amazing, baked in a stone oven.

Omg so this pub has AMAZING food, which of course i didnt photograph... BUT it was all delicious, from the tacos, to the dry salt and pep ribs, garlic fingers done in a fire grilled oven... The craft beer was amazing, never knew blueberries and beer were meant to be together LOL. The service was amazing! Super friendly, clean and overall a great place to enjoy a brew and snack/meal. I cant wait to come back to try more food and beers!

We went to the pump house to take part in taco week. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly, although they did not have a Mocktail menu. They accommodated us most admirably with a Gingerale, Shirley Temple, and a Pepsi Roy Rogers. The hot sauces made the night, blazing bacon and garlic goodness were our favourites.

The Pump House has a very casual pub vibe with pretty consistent food. A good spot for a no fuss meal.

The bison burger at Pump House BrewPub was absolutely delicious! I got to taste both their muddy river stout and blueberry ale, and let me tell you, they were totally worth it. I was pleasantly surprised to find actual blue blueberries in the blueberry stout, and they added a fantastic touch to the drink. Highly recommend giving them a try!

We had popped in for a bite to eat after a show on May 30,2023. Now I want to say our waitress Sadie was fantastic and none of what happened was her fault, its whoever brought out the pizzas. My friend and I ordered drinks and two classic pepperoni pizzas. They arrived quickly, and the girl who brought them out didnt say anything, just set them down and left. I waited 5 minutes before I took a bite and even blew on the pizza before I ate it. It was overly hot to the point when I spat it out it hit my lip, burning it so badly I needed to go to the hospital to get treated. When I mentioned to another waitress that I had burned my lip(not ours) she told me very sarcastically well yeah, it just came out of a hot oven. My point is if the pizza is that hot, you need to clearly warn people so they dont get hurt like I did. By the time I left, my lip had swollen in size and was starting to blister.

Fish was terrible super greasy. Told the waitress and she said it wasnt just this batch. Wings were average, pizza was very good though

Great beer and the radlers are fantastic! Food menu was excellent with great variety and everything we ordered, there were four of us, was delicious. Worst thing is we re from Michigan so odds of a return visit is slim but I m sure going to try!

Warning My first and last experience here is due to the low quality of food products and lack of knowledge of beer and restaurant etiquette. I didnt bring anything up while I was there due to the fact that this is what they are serving to their customer and that my server didnt come back until half way through my dining experience (also you shouldnt tell customers you hated a beer and instead tell the customer what the beer offers flavours etc.). I was expecting something better I guess. The cheese burger was dry, flavourless and topped with a half slice of a Kraft singles. These burgers are brought in and clearly shows that ownership/management doesnt care at all about the quality of their food and only care about money coming in. There was little to no seasoning on anything. The caesar salad was comparable to a bag of caesar salad you could buy at Walmart. No bacon, fake looking shreds of parmesan cheese very unappealing and tasteless. Pump House needs to stick to brewing beer, instead of ripping off locals and tourists by trying to pass off their fast food as pub style food. I will not be returning and I will be sure to tell people of my experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! July 7th @11:40 am

This place is bigger than it appears. Busy when arrived but sat quickly. The food was good. Would have liked an option for a veggie burger but the mussels with beer bread was really good. Did an interesting beer flight of craft beer and cocktails. For example lemoncello with beer. Was very good.

Overall a top notch place. Great service, good food, and an enjoyable setting. Prices are reasonable, and the beer is above par.

8oz steaks are a disappointment for this pub; definitely on the cheap side for slabs of meat and very thin. Asked for a medium rare but because of how thin it is, they had trouble getting that red center and got it closer to medium-well which was unfortunate and quite dry. Wont be ordering another steak if I frequent this place again. Service was also relatively slow, though to be fair it was quite packed for a Thursday night. Closing notes, theres other places to go if youre looking for beer and lunch. They may have great beer, but as such they also sell it to other pubs in the area and itll taste just as good. Parking: Parking on the street is free after 6 and on weekends, and theres a relatively large parking lot nearby, however it can easily fill up with how many restaurants are nearby so if its a busy day, itll be hard to get in. There is however a parking garage not too far which is very big and can fit much more cars, its just one or two streets over and a short walk.

Not impressed with this restaurant at all. Food delivered cold. Did not send it back since it took forever to get it in the first place. Extra charge for a dish that wasnt ordered on our bill. That server knew it was there based on her knowing response. Not sure how that scam works wether the servers and cooks are in on it. Advice. Scrutize your bill. This is happening everywhere now.

Used to be my favourite spot when visiting Moncton as it s across the way from multiple hotels. Very disappointed when I tried to order takeout this time around. I always order the hummus platter and a couple other appetizers to go and have done so for months- and when ordering tonight was told that they aren t allowed to sell it for takeout due to a new rule because of the way they packaged it??? Then the employee said it was because of quality of the hummus platter upon takeout. So which is it? You re not allowed to sell hummus for takeout by law (what?!) or the quality is just that bad you re not comfortable selling it? Never heard of anything like this at a restaurant before but ok. Why have this on your takeout menu if you re not allowed to sell it for takeout? So in that case is everything on the menu not fit for takeout? Absolutely ridiculous that it s actually amusing.

Had a great Fish and Chips dinner here and the Beer was delicious. Ate on their dog friendly patio. the staff were great and even provided a bowl of water for our dog.

I really enjoy the gluten-free options, and the staff are super nice. The only issue is the terrasse and some woman that comes for harass you multiple times for money. I just want to thank the staff for trying to solve the situation. Clearly, the police arent doing anything until someone gets hurt. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options like that delicious pizza. Vodka seltzer water great tasting.

Unique and quaint barrel seating. Felt like a fun college bar. Menu has many options. Note: Donair is just okay. Salads are fresh and tasty. Poutine was great!

Not bad until I got my chicken fingers medium rare, unfortunately I didn t notice this until the 4th one in. They gave us my meal for free. But upon leaving and recovering from the trauma of chicken sashimi, I m realizing we really should have got the entire meal for free. Really dangerous. Waiting to see if I get sick. Don t order the chicken fingers.

Great beer selection

My first time staying in Moncton so I decided to visit this staple beer establishment. The fish and chips was just OK, the cheesecake was deadly good, and the service was top notch. My server, Kamille, was very welcoming, polite, and attentive. Would definitely visit again next time Im in town.

I visited little bit late, but the service was so good. I ordered one pasta, pizza and fries. I like lots of hot sauce flavours especailly the barbeque hot sauce. The blueberry beer was so taste Recommend this place:)

From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable and welcome. Great atmosphere, very clean. The menu had a great selection with pretty normal average pricing. The burger I got I was slightly nervous when it came because the cheese wasnt melted at all making me think it was going to be cold but this was not the case. Everything was a perfect temperature and very delicious. My server was probably the main reason I will return though. Taylor was perfect. Very prompt polite and professional. Took my order very quickly and was absolutely on point with two bite or two minutes to check on me. My beer was at the perfect level for her to check on me to see if I needed another. This lady is a great server.

Very good burger, although I really dont hope this was the biggest burger in town, but it was a little small. Otherwise everything was great.

I ordered a cheeseburger that came without cheese. The waitress was busy chatting with others so didn t check on us. Burger was dry and overcooked. It was really disappointing and when I said so they charged me 1/2 price for the food I didn t eat. The menu item I originally wanted wasn t available.

Must have been an off night for the pub... started off with a flat rootbeer for me and a Dark and Stormy that my wife couldnt find any booze in. Waiter replaced both drinks with no complaints so...all good. My perrier was yummy like they always are, Sherrys caesar was good. Unfortunately her second drink a Dave Mathews again seemed to be missing the booze... On to the food... my wings and salad were quite good, Sherrys steak not so much ;( They got the cook right, which was nice but the steak was full of gristle, super tough and basically tasteless. When the waiter came by to ask how the meal was Sherry hadnt got into her steak so we said good after that no one stopped by again to to check. When paying the bill I mentioned the steak had left something to be desired and basically got attitude well you should have said something when I asked I explained when hed asked we didnt know yet and I wasnt looking for a discount...just letting him know a quality issue but he had no more time for me...

Great atmosphere, delicious craft beer, and killer pizza & beer bread.

Came in after a meeting with a group of 8. Our server did an excellent job and made sure everything was great. The atmosphere was a bit loud because it was busy. I ordered a steak rare with sweet potato fries. Mushroom and onions were optional. The blueberry ale is a signature beer you have to try.

This past weekend i attended a get together at this restraunt, i had the burger that ate Moncton. 30 min after eatting what i could i was puking in the bathroom and sweating bullets while freezing. It was clear to me i was suffering from food poisioning. This was my first time here and will be my last. Edit: turn out I have a stomach issue that has been ongoing since, 100% not the restraunts fault and Im sorry for the bad review. I just rece try finally had the proper tests done to figure out whats wrong with me.. anyway I had to edit my review.

Very disappointed in the pizzas I ordered tonight. I ordered three different pizzas which cost a total of $55.00 including tax. I m sorry but there is nothing special about these pizzas and they are very expensive for what you get. Also, what is with putting the pepperoni under the cheese? I find this very common in this area. Personally I do not like this. The pepperoni just steams and doesn t get any cook at all, it just warms! Will never order pizzas from the pump house again. Much too expensive for a pizza that is just above the quality of a frozen pizza.

Came in at 5:20PM on a Thursday, party of one. My server seemed frazzled. The front of house team was clearly overwhelmed. I guess this is a popular after-work spot? Just an unfortunate first impression; the people spoke shortly and you could feel the stress pouring off them. Two beers out of stock -- Pilsner and IPA. Its hard not be able to choose the staples. I settle for the pale ale, which was a pretty average rendition of an English pale ale. Maybe I was just soured by not having my first two choices available, but it wasnt anything to write home about. I had the spinach salad to start, which was very good and very inexpensive. The bread that came with it was particularly nice; fresh and perfectly seasoned. The dressing was tasty and not too heavy, and the dose of bacon bits (real bacon) was generous. Really good overall -- this is a dish to try. Had the red ale next. Pretty good! True to style, no detectable faults. I ordered the best steak around in a 12oz size, with fried garlic mushrooms. It totalled $31.50. I asked for it cooked blue. She didnt know what that meant. So I asked for it as rare as they can make it. It ended up rare, which is fine. The mushrooms were generous and steam was well seasoned. Fries were cooked very well. Over the course of the meal the FOH staff settled into the rush, and service got better. Overall the experience was middling. I would come back, but not at a busy time. Will update my rating after a second visit.

First time in a long time. Well worth the $$.
