Our second time coming from out west and this poutinery has been a hit for us! Definitely recommended for the poutine lovers!! Thanks to Adil our cook and server we left satisfied, fat and happy!

Cook forgot my order and serve the womans before me, staff need to focus on order and less on titis , rly not impressed with this worker!!

Our visit was okay, nothing special. Got a regular mexifry poutine, within 5 minutes all the mexifrys were mashed together, falling apart, way to much gravy, kinda like drinking mexifry soup. Ill try again but definitely not a good first time

The food was amazing and the employee working there are really enthusiastic as well they recommended me the poutine which turned out to be one of the best.Since then I am craving every single day to have it again.

We had a fantastic time at Smokes Poutine, thanks to their employee Adil who provided us with prompt and enthusiastic service. The food was great and despite being very busy with many responsibilities, he tended to our every need and made this visit special. When we return to Smokes Poutinerie in Moncton, it will be because of Adil.

Had the traditional poutine, very good! Was helped by Adil who was very friendly, very good service! Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options including poutine made with veggie gravy.

I was in Moncton for a vacation and I was finding a good place to eat. While Poutine is Canadas staple, Smokes Poutinerie did not disappoint me in its taste and quality. And the store manager, Adil, made my experience the best. Adil made sure to serve my Butter Chicken Poutine with freshly made fries and gravy, served hot. Front Counter and Dining Space looked clean and well maintained, so no complaints regarding cleanliness. Washrooms were clean too. Thanks for a good eating experience. Hope Adil gets a raise :D

Taste is good but feels stealing when ordered butter chicken poutine and not a sliver of chicken in there. Total rip off.

I should have read the reviews first before ordering from here. We ordered 1 large Korean BBQ poutine and 1 drink. It cost $30! I paid because I figured it must be amazing for that price. It was the most disgusting poutine that we both had in our lives. The cheese curds were hard, the fries were drowning in way too salty gravy, there was so much hot sauce all over it and half a cup of onions on top. Very disappointing. We threw half of it out in the garbage.

A poutine is cheese, sauce and fries I think they didn t understand the concept. Plus their breasts are expensive for almost just potatoes!

The worst food I ever put in my mouth I cant believe the quality of the french fries was terrible the gravy was cold going to work the next day two of my friends who is with me were throwing up before going to work they had the same food I did I cant believe how many people say that place is so great disgusting

My wife and I came to Canada for a classic poutine experience. When we came to Smoke s, our poutine-master Muskan made our journey more than worthwhile. She was generous with her time, portions, and smile. Our experience could not have been better! Give Muskan a promotion and a raise! 5/5

We spent $50 on 2 poutine and there was next to no cheese and the country style was smokey sauce rather than bacon.

The worst poutine I ve ever had, there was no chicken at all in the butter chicken I ordered! The worst customer service and the worst food to get at 1:30 am. The place should be closed down. How are they guys even running the business. There was so much smoke inside the store/restaurant. Would never ever go back and would ask people not to go there.

We ordered butter chicken and finished 75% of the meal, couldn t taste anything that resembled of chicken. Had a conversation with the guy who took our order and he hung up on me while having conversation regarding the meal that I paid $23.00 for. This was the most pathetic customer service experience as well as the most disappointing take out I ve had in my life.

Visited Smokes poutine yesterday and the service was awesome, had ordered original chicken poutine and popcorn chicken poutine.whenever I visit moncton I head down to smokes for some awesome poutine.

Terrible experience. I ordered a Korean bbq poutine and it came LOADED with hot sauce, it was drowning in hot sauce!! I asked why there was hot sauce on it and the guy serving us insisted it came like that, meanwhile the description said Korean bbq sauce + green onions no where did it indicate hot sauce. My husband asked about it again because we didnt want that and the guy started arguing with my husband and shoo ed us away. 21$ for a small hot sauce poutine with 5 cheese curds that ended up in the garbage and a small onion rings. Also to note that the whole place is just submerged in smoke.

Was so disappointed visiting here for the first time. Our poutine was cold, and the cheese curds were not melted. The prices were high too. I expected more from a place that specializes in poutine. Go to Eds Subs on Elmwood for an excellent poutine at cheaper prices.

The food is really delicious and they also have vegetarian options. Had a great experience Vegetarian options: Really delicious and am really happy to have a vegetarian version of the Canadians favorite dish, poutine.

The fries were burnt to a crisp, not sure if that s how they cook them, but it felt like we got the bottom of the barrel kind of fries. The cheese and gravy were good, but we couldn t finish our poutines because the fries were so undesirable. The menu was super distracting as random pictures and other things kept coming across the screen blocking the view for many poutines, and it made it hard to read the menu. I would not go back.

The service is the best part about this place. The 2 cooks were welcoming, asked me about my preferences since it was my 1st time and made a recommendation. We talked about lots of stuff during the food preparation, very welcoming crew. I liked the craft beer they had in cans. $23 for a tall can of beer and a medium poutine with tip. The food is fresh, but just average. The atmosphere was dark, the place was clean and so was the bathroom. Overall great people, average food, average decor. Everything you need for a simple meal when your out in Downtown Moncton. Wheelchair accessibility: Wide front door, no stairs, low tables with chairs.

Ordered a large Korean BBQ poutine and a bottle of water and it come to $28! I thought it was a mistake but it took 30 minutes for them to even take my order because there was 5 people ahead of me, so I paid. I was already mad because I couldnt believe the price but the poutine was awful. First and last time going there.

After the Colin James concert I thought we would try smokies. This was the first and last time making this mistake. We spent $35.00 for 2 medium dishes and one drink to go. Got home and dug in. The amount of salt made it impossible to eat. I was crunching on salt on the first bite, my God it was terrible. And this was the case with both dishes we ordered. I am glad I didnt tip, maybe thats the reason it was so salty. If you are watching your salt intake or like poutine stay away from there.

The fries had way too much sauce, the cheese was too salty. The poutine cost 15 without a drink, which is way too expensive for a medium-sized poutine. On the other hand, we will note the large number of choices, particularly for vegetarian poutine. There was too much sauce, the cheese was too salty. SWe had ordered the family meal on SkipTheDishes, 2 meal size and 2 snack size poutines (gravy on the side for all), with 4 drinks. Not long after it was on the way, I get a call from the restaurant stating they messed up our order and wanted to send over new poutines done properly. So I gave them our address and they delivered 4 meal size poutines with the gravy on the side! Very nice customer service, highly recommend. Oh, also very good poutines!

This place is amazing, but only if you live close and its being picked up and driven home quickly. Or eaten right there in the parking lot lol which there is only street parking there unfortunately. But, if you live father outside of the area I find the containers tend to create condensation and the whole meal sogs sadly.. Ive had some really amazing food here. The steak poutine with the mushrooms, onions, and peppers, is the best one by far I think. Just make sure when youre leaving that you check your food too. I have also had the wrong order show up when ordering from them through skip. One was right, the other was not. So its better off you pick up, but if you live close than you dont have to worry. They have a awesome BBQ sauce here too that tastes really good with their gravy.. Also if you order the things like, cauliflower bites MAKE SURE you ask for them on the side. If you dont get them on the side, they put them in the same box as the poutine and with all the gravy, and those on top they get super soggy. My fault, I didnt know.. But next time Id order on the side.

If you want to try classic Canadian poutine, you definitely have to eat this one. They are delicious, my favorite is the bacon one. They carry three sizes but I dont understand why they never have the small size available. The treatment is usually friendly and the service fast.

Its too expensive here. I ordered a boneless chicken as side which costs at $7.49 but all I got is 3 small pieces which are in the size of popcorn. Dont decide by seeing the pictures in the menu, they are very much deceiving. The poutine is not so tasty and it doesnt taste good.

So my last experience here was really bad but i had good experiences when they sold my ussual meal. So i went in yesterday to order my ussual meal and it was discontinued. So i tried something else and i ended up getting the wrong order which didnt bother me. What bothered me was that it made me sick. Again nothing personal ive had good poutines here but that poutine was not good

It looked so amazing in the picture. I thought because of the price it was gonna be a descent sized poutine. Nope came in a small container. Also very little cheese half the poutine was just fries and gravy. Honestly feel a little ripped off. For a poutine place yeah no way better out there dont waste your money.

Poutine was okay. The menu options are a little confusing. I ordered what they described as a pogo poutine, medium size. One would think one would get a poutine with pogo pieces inside. Well, I got a medium size poutine jammed into a small box with a pogo on the side. Thats like ordering. Kit Kat Blizzard at Dairy Queen and getting a cup of ice-cream with a Kit Kat on the side. We laughed, I ate it. It was mediocre at best. There are better places to get poutine.

Taste delicious but lately portions are diminishing in the box , for 31$ plus tip for a wow size and a regular, traditional poutines, I expect them to fill the box of fries,cheeze curds and gravy ,not 2/3 of it.not like its caviar, its potatoes, cheeze and gravy, just fill it! Anywho like I said , taste great but I expect them to fill it like they did when it opened , not like the ingredients are coming out of the employees fridge... take notes from the quebec plz!

I am love in with Smokes Poutines and other vegetarian stuff like fried cheese curd tater tot nachos, onion ring master.

Showed up 25 minutes before closing and wouldnt take my order. Showed up at harveys 5 minutes before closing (by accident) and they still took my order.

As good as the poutines are, you only get a 3 star today. We ordered 2 poutines, one was the Heart Attack, and it was missing the deep fried cheese curds as indicated on the menu. Maybe next time?

Food was tasty and fresh when we received it and I will absolutely be going back! Just as tasty as the Halifax location and portions are a healthy size, do not think you need to get the large or wow size. Normal is plenty. However....They have some growing pains, service was on the slower end , took around 15-20 minutes from order to getting food at 730PM. The Halifax location for example has it to like 4 minutes if that. Overall a super positive time.

Id give it 3.5 if I could. This place has all kinds of potential. Very friendly staff, awesome atmosphere & clean, great menu. Unfortunately the follow through on the food just wasnt quite there. Their gravy seemed watery and wasnt very tasty or thick. Im not sure if it was just an issue with it being new or if its the recipe. Fries had tons of potential, nice homecut with skins, but they were undercooked and not crispy but still a bit firm/starchy. I look forward to going back in a month to see if theyve gotten better because if they have this could be a weekly lunch spot!
