We got takeout and the steaks were great. Perfectly cooked just like we asked. The salad and sides could be better.

Great as always. The server was very attentive, possibly to some a little too much but nothing crazy.

Our waitress Thao was outstanding. Made sure that we were taken care of extremely well. Asked if we had any allergies. I mentioned that my husband cant have anything with coconut. She delivered. By far the best waitress I have ever dealt with in years.

Both the food and service top notch. Kevin was our server. Excellent! The Prime rib was to die for as well as the mushrooms Neptune. Not to mention, the ambience is perfect to celebrate our anniversary.

We were in a party of 16 and had reservations for Friday evening. I wish I could remember the names of the waitresses we had to share.. But I would say the service was exceptional and food was delicious! Kudos to the staff and Management. One of the best experiences we had at any Keg s across Canada! We will surely be back! Great place Excellent service Food

Was treated to this place for my birthday! The food and atmosphere won me over a I truly enjoyed everything in these two fields. The service was okay. Our server was attentive but seemed to pass judgements over my uncle and I. After finding out, it was my birthday she quickly jumped at the fact and stated that they wont sing (personally couldve cared less about the singing but to make a judgment call that quick was not called for. I mightve liked to have had some people sing to me!). Overall, I was satisfied with the experience and will try to return. May have to go to the one in Halifax when I go back go IKEA there!

OK so I tried several times to leave a review on the request I received directly only to get the run around as in needing to set up an account....not planning to do that. We, 3, were at The Keg Moncton on Sept 9. I would have to say that the SERVICE was the best thing about the meal! The steak we received was mediocre ie too much gristle for that price....but the salmon was fantastic. The atmosphere left a LOT to be desired - people were too close as in we could hear all the conversations around us. PLUS we asked twice (2 dif people) if the fireplace could be turned on. That never happened in the almost 2 hours we were there. Very disappointing....

We have been twice, with six months between visits. On both occasions, the food was incredibly delicious, steak cooked to perfection, with creative sides. We had the same server, Kevin, both times, who gave us the best service we ve ever had, knows the menu and flavours inside and out, made us feel right at home. All other staff was friendly and professional, creating an excellent atmosphere. Highly recommend, worth every penny.

I absolutely loved the Keg, we will be back. I had the Prime rib and double baked potato the Billy miners cake for dessert and a coffee. It was all stellar. 10/10 Our server was also excellent.

Great food with professional service, servers are very helpful and willing to help. Steak was supreme. Not surprisingly prices are high, but to be expected. If you want that type of experience, youll have to pay for it. Not for everyone, but great overall.

Really nice waiter, front staff were awesome as well. We were a group of six and everything was perfect! Washrooms clean. Easy to find. My only small suggestion would be the lobster bisque, throw a small hunk of claw on the top for presentation. (The Kegs in Calgary do it) I d also look at cleaning the front windows to make the artwork pop. Take it or leave the feedback, regardless we really enjoyed our meals. Nice to have something we recognize from back home in Alberta. I ll tell anyone I know staying in Moncton to swing in.

So good we had to have it twice!

The best steakhouse in the Moncton area. It is best to make reservations before you go. The service was excellent the day I went. The food was delicious as usual. Parking: Free street parking if you go after 6 pm or on weekends. Otherwise, there are meters on the street, no parking lot.

A lovely dining experience. My steak was a perfect medium. Service was great. A little loud and busy, but good for them eh? ... I had a small high top table in the bar area, thank goodness I wasnt at the long elbow to elbow communal table. I cant stand that kinda set up. Lol. But no, I had a decent little table. Was Gonna get a cocktail as their cocktail menu looks incredible. But I didnt this time.

Das Essen ist hervorragend, aber auch teuer, Die Auswahl ist sehr groß und man kann viel wählen. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger Minuspunkt ist die Helligkeit, man muss die Taschenlampe seines Handys benutzen, um die Karte lesen zu können. Auch die Musik ist etwas zu laut und nicht sehr passend.

Skylar thank-you for the amazing service. You took very good care of us and are an asset to The Keg. The atmosphere is surprisingly dark. We ate the bone-in steak plus appetizers and a bottle of wine. I found the steak to be a bit salty, dry and overcooked. (Medium rare) -compared to the steaks at The Keg in the Old Port of Montreal, which are always perfect. Overall a good feast. Loved the garlic potatoes, bread, and mushroom appetizer. Thanks again Skylar. I gave 5 stars for the service.

1) rest room was full of bugs and in a poor state 2) food came incomplete. Service was told and the final part of the meal came 10 mins later. Early supper but we were grouped tightly with the few other patrons and background music was too loud. No was reply to request for quieter location. So disappointed compared to the Keg Halifax. We left without eating.

We came last night for my partners birthday. And as usual our food, service, was amazing. Delia our server was amazing and she went above and beyond. As a previous restaurant owner, having a front line representative for the Keg, they have someone that is not only a worker but a big asset to this restaurant. We will be back. Including a btl of wine the bill was under 160$ and worth every penny.

Really cool place with great service and clear options for food intolerances. Staff is competent and aware of the ingredients and preparation processes, which is always a big sign that the house is focussed on quality. Our visit felt very human and it can be worth it to pay for that once in a while. That said, we could prepare such food at home, but when we are going out, it is nice to have it safely delivered like at The Keg.

It never disappoints. Steak are always as desired.

Went tonight to celebrate the news I was cancer free! Alex was our server and he was the BEST! Food was delicious, service impeccable and left extremely satisfied. It had been at least 10 years since I was there, I WONT be waiting that long to go back!

Had the worst experience last night. Made reservations for our anniversary, ended up sick in bed, as per symptoms this looks like food poisoning. Paying money for getting sick is not fun.

First time to the keg my husband and I went for a date night and we got steak of course for our first time keg experience. It was extremely over priced and the steak it self was not good it tasted like it was out of date and was way over marinated or seasoned. We both got the same thing and both said the same. We each got prime rib but it was the worst prime rib steak I ve ever gotten at a steak house. Our server was really nice though seemed like she really enjoyed her job so good on them for that. But with us not having a good meal it was extremely over priced for all that it was and it s just because you are paying for the dinning atmosphere. Not worth it for us at all.

The waiter was a 10/10. Said Id take myself out if I didnt have dessert, said hed find one no matter what. Absolutely incredible service. (The food was great too, but it was absolutely overshadowed by the man who made sure we had everything.) Parking: All depends on what time youre going!

We usually have a good time at the Keg Restaurant known for the great service and food. Weve decided to made a reservation for a special occasion that I did specify when i did the reservation. We were expecting I nice cozy ambiance. When the server lead us to our table, she gave us a table at the bar section. It was not a good ambiance at all for an engagement celebration. I explained the situation and the very young lady told us it was the same everywhere in the restaurant. Sorry....but we went to Keg many time and there are section a little more private an cozy ambiance. I would suggest to pay more attention to the request that your client are asking. Unfortunately we left and went to another restaurant.

This is one of the better Kegs that I have gone to. They had amazing food. The service was excellent, as well as they use some initiative with some of the dishes. I am not sure if this is a Keg, nationwide deal, but the bone marrow starting starter was amazing.

Took.my wife out for an early Valentines Day dinner. When our meals werent as we had ordered Nick the manager and his staff went above and beyond to make sure it was absolutely perfect!! Cant thank him and his staff enough for everything they did we will most definitely be back !!

Amazing sides, service was also very good. Good vibe and nice tables and lighting.. however the steak wasnt that enjoyable. Id say its more of a family restaurant then a steakhouse. There was only a few steak options and the one recommended to me was very mediocre and not very enjoyable, my date didnt want to finish it.. The glaze that came with it was more like a gravy that didnt pair well at all. I will definitely go back again, however steaks are not something I will be getting. Mac n cheese and the twice baked potatoes are amazing!

I don t usually leave reviews, but This was my first time coming to the keg in Moncton service was absolutely amazing but food was not what I expected My steak needed to be sent back to get re-cooked which had to wait 10 minutes to eat my steak after I ve already waited 25 minutes I spent almost $200 on 2 steaks that were not cooked to our satisfaction. The Bread they Bring out in the beginning was frozen and not hot. Overall experience was not pleasant for the amount of money I paided I don t think I ll be coming back. Sorry keg you re usually a lot better than this.

Love it, baseball steak cooked to perfection, great flavor. Waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. I did feel a little crammed in the back. Very close to the next table... would have been more intimate with a few less tables.

For the money you spend is just not worth it. Sure they cook a good steak ... but thats pretty much it ... take the Ceasar salad for instance ... just a giant dinner plate of Romain lettuce with a couple of croutons and a couple pieces of cheese ... its a chain ... doing soulless chain dishes. Nothing special at all. Spend your money on local talent like Black Rabbit if you want a meal that will blow your mind.

There was 9 at our table the waiter was overwhelmed he should take more training our appetizer was burnt one steak was over cooked lobster tail over cooked when asked to fix the issue they were not to responsive then the manager can to say that the steak she had was sold out so no replacement off that type of steak mixed up our bills we had went for a birthday was not asked if we wanted any desert they just came with the bill felt like we were rushed to leave the sinks took for ever to get our daughter order her second glass of wine 3 times and reminded him 2 more times that he had not brought it so he eventually brought it when she was done eating her replacement lobster tail We eat at the keg often in ALBERTA and we won t be going back here

WOW just wow, I have been to KEGs all over Canada and by far this one is the best. I had the steak and lobster . The lobster was so fresh I am willing to bet it was hanging out with the little mermaid this morning. The steak was done perfectly, its hard to find a place that does a steak with perfection. Finally, Skylar you are the type of sever that goes above and beyond, you were very quick to see how I was doing and making sure that everything was to my liking, you always had a smile on you face, I was even tripped up on my words a few time. Thank you for being cool because of you and ofcourse the food it was well worth the 2 hour drive, Ill be back. Cheers

Second time my partner and i have gone to this location. Again it didnt disappoint. Steaks were to perfection and service was impeccable. We will of course be back.

We had a small wedding reception here. The atmosphere was perfect. The service was excellent. The food was amazing. It topped off our day perfectly.

The only reason I will be going back there is the manager Nick who was great to us! And the quality of the food (that somehow the cooks keep messing it up with not paying attention to the customer requests-over cooking steaks often) Me and my friends go often to The Keg Moncton, sometimes once a week and yesterday was the worst . Got back home overwhelmed. The waitress service was terrible starting from her bad attitude and continued with forgetting about us (waited 30 minutes for water and bread) also she messed up the order and when we finally got our food after more than an hour the steaks were Mid-well and not Mid- rare even that we double check with the waitress about it before ordering. Then Nick came for the rescue and gave us the best customer service ever and we left with a smile I hope things will get fixed so we can come back again often

This is our first time and everything was perfect. Food, service and ambiance is awesome. Really good for family dinner out, or couples dating or anniversary celebration and other special occassions.

Food was impeccable. I rarely eat steaks because I prefer Asian cuisines but the steak was done right. The garlic mashed potatoes are so good. My husband and Is family came from the US to celebrate our union. They enjoyed the food here as well. The restaurant was kind enough to gift us a slice of a cake to celebrate our recent wedding. Will definitely come back.

Tara was my server and she had a trainee with her and she politely said theyd both be taking care of me tonight. Prompt and friendly service and the prime rib was mouth watering! I also was impressed with Tara using her French with francophone customers who really appreciated that. Well done!

My partner and I went there back on Aug 18 for our anniversary. IT WAS PERFECT!! The entire staff that we conversed with was a delight, informative, respectful, and courteous!! We will definitely be back next year at VERY least!!! Kid-friendliness: There was one actual child there when we dined, however I would not recommend for the simple fact that it is MUCH too elegant for a child to appreciate it!

Fantastic meal and service, very friendly atmosphere.

This is one of our favorite places to go to for special occasions. This time we both had the strip loin steak with fresh veggies. Absolutely delicious!! Oh and we started with the fried cauliflower you absolutely have to try those, they are soooooooo good! We celebrated our 15th anniversary on this visit and were given an ice cream cake for desert, no charge. I m drooling just thinking about it lol. If you ve never eaten here, you should definitely put it on your list to try!

I had the peppercorn new york with a twice baked potato and the food was awesome! My server s name was Kevin and he delivered top notch service! The only complaints i have is that i could barely see my food it was so dark and i was getting dizzy from the heat. I love how hot the food is when it is served but the heat in the dining room was so bad i had to keep downing ice water to stay at a reasonable temperature.

It was my first time dining with keg location in Moncton! I was greeted by my server Kush i believe his name to be! He was so professional and provide the best hospitality! I was explained everything with great details and he made some great recommendations! The food was also super yum Kudos to the chef! It was a really great experience and i sure will be coming back soon to dine in and would love to have the same server! Thank you for making it such a great dine in experience for a newbie!

We visited a few weeks ago for my birthday dinner. While waiting for our food, the fire alarm in the hotel went off and the restaurant had to be evacuated. We waited for about half an hour before deciding to go run some other errands and wed go back afterwards. When we got back, we asked to be seated with the same server because we liked his service and wanted to make sure he got a tip from us. Him and the manager on duty made our night by treating us to dinner. We will definitely return!

Always such a very good experience it s private staff are dressed professional and the food is very good and they care enough to ask what your celebration is? Awesome restaurant. The young women who greeted us were very warm and welcoming. The young lady who served us was one of the best waitresses we have ever had. Professional and kind. Thank you, Annette, for a great experience. We had the Steak Oscar and the Braised Lamb Shank. Both delicious. Please stop here when staying in Moncton.

Why only one star? Because the short girl from the reception managed to destroy our experience with you will have to wait 20min to be seated despite claiming this location has a seating of several hundreds of people. We came here only because the amazing receptionist at the hotel above it recommended this place and even after waiting, we were seating in a room which was only a quarter full. This place wants to be on par with London, Paris etc judging from the dimmed atmosphere and dark walls which just allows you to see your food, yet delivered burnt steaks after waiting 30min, based on the timing of my pictures, during which the only loud talk being heard came from this simply massive server who should have known in such places, being quieter is only polite. Clearly this is lost in Moncton. Upon leaving, the small receptionist did not even say bye to me - surely she has issues. People like her make an experience great or not.

4 of us ate here before a concert. Even though the restaurant was very busy the wait staff were great. Everything we ordered tasted great and arrived exactly when we wanted it.

Delicious as always, the food and service was top notch. My partner has an allergy that they were very accommodating to ensure was taken into consideration. Letting us know that his alergin was avoided during prep of each dish&app. I gave a 3 star for the atmosphere only because one elderly couple said it was too dark and they turned the house lights up. The keg is known for its warm, relaxing atmosphere, we had come to celebrate our anniversary and wanted the romantic atmosphere with the candles that they are known for. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was kind of ruined due to one persons preference. I guess it was nice for the keg to accommodate the couple. However, it put a bit of a damper on our experience and possibly the half dozen other couples dining that evening in our section. The staff was great though, we were given a complimentary piece of cake for our anniversary which was very kind, and unexpected. Parking: The restaurant is attached to a hotel, there is a parking lot behind the restaurant, but its got signs saying it is for hotel parking only. We had to park on the street two blocks away, which isnt ideal for ladies in heels and fancy dress

We had an absolutely beautiful time on this visit. Food was superb as was our server Dianne. Atmosphere is always better when a booth is available, but the restaurant was super busy. Prices continue to increase on every visit which gets a bit tiring. Happy with our visit as always. Parking: Hit and miss. Not conducive to handicap.

We dined at the Keg for a birthday celebration. The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. We definitely ate more than intended, sharing bits of everything.

Had the wedge salad. Very good but we went for the fall menu which they didn t have. That was why I booked. Ran out, our reservation was for 5:30 pm. They must not have bothered. Didn t bring fall menu out so must not be promoting.

As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the vegetarian dish at The Keg restaurant. Although known for its steaks, the vegetarian choice was delicious and recommendable. An unexpected but appreciated culinary experience! Its an effective way to demonstrate that you can eat well while helping to reduce the enormous environmental impact of meat and greatly minimizing the impact on non-human animals. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian Chipotle meatloaf is excellent and I highly recommend it.

I put 4* for the service because it was my birthday, and the Keg didnt even put a small candle on our table. This is the only reason. Steaks are great, very friendly atmosphere. this place is not cheap but thats ok for the good restaurant.

Extremely mediocre. And Im being generous. Even more so due to the price, which is fine if you got what you pay for. We did not. Wedge salad in particular was just plain bad. Some of the mushrooms with the steak were also quite bad. Server was good.
