Not much of a seafood kid of guy let alone sushi but the women convinced me to try different things I picked ASA Sushi and my food was fantastic will be ordering here again my taste buds were very pleased

Asa sushi has probably some of the best sushi in moncton, for a price that is very competitive compared to alot of the main spots moncton has. I love them. They have amazing food, its very well portioned, not stuffing you to much, and not keeping you hungry soon after. Give them a try!!!!!

Its always a treat to visit Asa. I make a point to drop in every time Im in Moncton. Its the best sushi in the province, hands down.

First time and not disappointed. Egg noodle chow mein was great. Chicken pieces were tender! The veggies which are often garbage filler were fresh and tasty. We tried the Moncton roll and it was tasty and massive. Jalapeno poppers so good! Yam roll a bit dry but the sushi guy was preparing a lot of takeout orders so well try more sushi next time. Prices are very fair for the quantity and quality. Thank you for making food with care!

Some of the best sushi I have had. Incredibly generous portions and all freshly made when you order. A brilliantly diverse menu too, especially for vegetarians.

Small sushi restaurant with great food. It s consistently good every time I come. Nice selection of sushi rolls and ramen. One of the best sushi places in the city. I find many other sushi restaurants stuff fake crab meat into every single roll, but Asa has a higher quality roll selection without the fake crab.

They make so good sushi, always fresh, and they have many different kinds of Cantonese food, absolutely worth trying the Chow Mein Faan, 110/100 Recommend!

What can i say?! Wow this is officially my favorite sushi place ever! Its a 10/10! Nobody can be disappointed here! The taste is the best, and so are the portions and prices! So if you re wondering where to go for your sushi craving, look no more, thank me later!

We love this place and well go back time and time again! We especially love the crazy girl roll!! Parking: Parking is easy, however the driveway can be hard to exit from.

Had a few things, sashimi, sushi pizza and the dragon roll. The sashimi was great, except for the octopus. The sushi pizza was one of the best I have ever eaten. The dragon roll was terrible. I would go again and get the sashimi, but only the pieces I requested. I would never order the dragon roll again. My friend had the Boston roll and said it was great

The sashimi and service here is my absolute favourite in Moncton!

Absolutely amateur attempt at Japanese food.. 80% of the meal went into the garbage. The cooks/ swindlers here aught to be embarrassed charging the prices they do, when there are places in town that are genuinely amazing... Theres a 0% chance the owners eat what we ordered off their menu and it shows. 0 stars, learn the ingredients you tried to use before charging an arm and a leg for them.

The food is mouth watering. The portions are bigger better and cheaper than what you get at the grocery stores.

Service was pleasant, attentive and quick. Sushi was massive, size of big cookies and hard to manage but otherwise very tasty. The yam roll was dry, will skip next time and the shrimp tempura very doughy, but the Crazy Girl roll was a nice surprise and tasted even better as cold leftovers.

Not the worst, and not the best sushi. Goyza was deep fried for some reason. Miso soup was REALLY watered down. Everything felt like they were cheaping out a bit. Dining room was uncomfortable, and the benches very uncomfortable. Table service however was amazing. The chef, or whatever hed be called, was unfriendly and legitimately looked like he hated being there - that seemed to translate into the food.

I brought my mother here to have her first sushi restaurant experience and prove to her that grocery store sushi just isnt the same. She was so impressed, we went twice in a week! We brought my aunt the 2nd visit but she ordered a ramen dish that she didnt realize was a soup. It came with tempura shrimp and veggies on the side which we thought was odd but still tasted good. The server remembered our order from a few days earlier, maybe b/c we took so long to order, haha. We decided to do the same dishes the 2nd visit, Crazy Girl roll, Spicy tuna roll and Salmon/Avocado roll, 24 pieces total. Crazy girl is sooo yummy! Too many ingredients to list but its tempura battered and deep fried. Not typical but delicious just the same. They sometimes offer free self serve green tea and include miso soup with your meal. Very fresh food, a must visit restaurant! Parking: Only a few parking spots per business as this is in a small strip mall. I just make sure to go before the lunch rush.

Ive been enjoying sushi for years from many Canadian cities. (I think 93 was my first time in one of Montreal s famous China Town hot-spots) This is the best sushi in Moncton. Have tried quite a few places around town...

Just need a little bit better of a waitress, we ate in the restaurant, tables were very wobbly, waitress said there was a promo on for every $20 you spend you get free pop. Said no thank, we dont drink pop. She asked what kind we wanted, said no thank you. Will just have water with lemon. She brought out our waters with literally half the cup of just lemons. Had to scoop out 2 or 3 piece as it was extremely sour and didnt want to complain. Then 10 mins later she came back and ask if what flavor pops we would like because we spend $75. Again said we dont drink pop. We were the only ones in there and no skip the dishes came in. We waited almost 15-20 mins before we even got our miso soup. But when we finally got everything, it was tasty.

Quality is not very good for the offer.

The service was attentionate. Ce fut un travail déquipe pour un excellent service. Fue un regalo comer aquí. One of the very few that responded to a review, within a day. This acknowledgement brings a smile to a traveling customer who wants to go back as this is a very attentionate service.

Was our first time there, friendly and efficient. The food was fresh. Unfortunately the toilet in the mens washroom didnt flush and the Salmon tasted a little off. But other than that we enjoyed what we did eat

The sushi is very good, but web orders should be avoided; after waiting the estimated 40 minutes for the order, I went to pay for the takeout on site only to find that nothing had been done. They wait for payment on site before making the sushi, which takes about 20 minutes longer.

Dont get the Sashimi. Was there on Wednesday Sept 23rd and had the small platter. Salmon, scallop and octopus tasted off. Only thing that was decent was the tuna. Miso soup is not tasty, and the rolls are OK. Overall if you are looking for cheap sushi rolls then its its the place to go but would not recommend for anything else.

The food and service was excellent. Quality of food is exceptional Saloni was super sweet and very helpful. Highly recommend this place

Best sushi Ive had in Moncton. Fresh seafood, lots of it, and real crab, not pollock. Just dont forget to order the wasabe, you need to order that separately.

We have been here several times. The sushi is very fresh and delicious. The hostess was exceptionally friendly, attentive and accommodating. There was only a couple of tables occupied, but take out was very busy. We were very satisfied and highly recommend ASA Sushi Restaurant. We will definitely be back once more.

I am not sure how people can rate this place as the best in Moncton, I usually order Spoon Sushi and this time for lunch we ordered 2 combos for $40 and I can confidently say it was tasteless and very dry, I am very disappointed.

Crazy girl roll was great! The ramen soup was bland ( asa special ) and the noodles were like the ones you get from an instant noodle pack. Padthai is also good, 2 people can share (petite).

The place is really clean. The house tea is self service and it is one of the things that i look in japanese restaurants. Their food is really smells good and tasty. The asa soup base for the sea food udon is a must try.

Good sushi. Seems to depend on the kitchen staff though what quality you get. Update to review as of 12/18 - the restaurant has changed hands and owners and the menu has been changed over as well. The above still stands true about the quality being dependant on who is working, however it seems overall that there has been a drop in food quality and freshness. For that I have edited my review above as I no longer feel it deserves the rating it had originally.

Best sushi place in Moncton!

My friend received her plate and found out that there was something inside her plate that she was allergic before eating it. She told the waitress about her allergies, and told her she was sorry to have not mentionned it before. The waitress took her plate back and brought her a new plate without the food she was allergic. They were very nice about the situation and handle it like pros !! Thats some very good customer service, Thank you !! We also loved the food at this restaurant and the fair prices !!

Amazing! We were driving through Moncton and stopped here to eat after seeing their sign. It was a great price and all of the staff were so friendly. Thank you so much for the amazing meal. And the special deep-fried cream-cheese things were so amazing, despite how that may sound.

I find the price you pay does not reflect on the quality of the food. I got a rainbow roll, and it was quite lacklustre. The most upsetting part was the ramen we got. I strongly beleive they use Mr.Noodle and just add some vegetables and meat to it. Just terrible.

The sushi is good but not the best in town. It was the generous portions that impressed us most. Small communication barrier with the servant but the service was good. We went there twice, and this during the winter, and we were cold. There were 2 portable heaters in 2 corners of the restaurant but it was still cold! But I will go back. THANKS

Our go to place for Sushi in Greater Moncton, great sushi, and great teriyaki! Free Miso, no free cheese cake like some other places, but the quality and price of the sushi makes up for it!
