Yes, its a nice place to have great coffee, but its so much more! Go there for a breakfast sandwich or for a meal prepared for your dinner... everything is good!

Food and service are good. Very dirty floors! yet it s easy to fix that!

First time. A little difficult to find because of all the work on the street. As the sign was not lit it was a bit painful.... but having had good comments we absolutely wanted to go there. We were impressed by the excellence of their hot chocolate, truly exquisite. With a delicious buttery croissant, a real treat. The waitress was very kind. We will definitely go back so we can try other products that we liked. A beautiful place to discover.

First visit of many to come. A great discovery, this little café. It allowed me to work a little on a project with a friend while discussing and savoring the best Moka that I have had the pleasure of tasting in a very long time with the delicious almond croissant. I plan to come back, thank you.

Very good service at the counter but it stops there, reheating dishes in the microwave so they can be eaten quickly for a good texture. The poached egg and ham croissant YUM, the almond croissant YUM, the chai latte tea half foam, half liquid...the liquid is missing. I would go back! More expensive than $10-20, it costs $50 for 2 breakfast croissants and 2 drinks.

I ordered 2 coffee 1 black americano & 1 latte Pretty sure I was given 2 filters, one with cream... Its a shame to go to a specialized place and pay for coffees so as not to receive what you asked for. However, the Barista repeated my order carefully when giving it to me ... If it was indeed a latte, it tasted more like disappointment.

Expensive coffee for the coffee you find at the grocery store and stupid staff. I wont go back there.

End of year 2023, I wanted a dessert and I bought cup cakes for $20 for 4 However small it is . Grocery store quality and even less, just sugar and fat. A HORROR!

It was my first time, but I will return. Nice little café where you can also buy ready-made meals to take away. Excellent food and coffee! The only thing is that everything is served in cardboard take-out containers with plastic lids (even when consumed on site) made from non-recyclable or compostable material. I really would have preferred it to be compostable/recyclable.

Good food. Nice atmosphere. It was crowded but there is little space in my opinion. The place is more suitable for take-out. Potato salad, salmon rillette sandwich, nanaimo and white chocolate cookies. These are the products I purchased, and each one was top quality. Everything was really good. On the other hand, the price is expensive paid for each item. But hey, what you have to remember is that the quality is there.

Everything is delicious; pastries, prepared meals, salads, coffee! A must to try: their version of the egg-ham-cheese croissant, wow! Its definitely the best Ive eaten in my life! Courteous and fast service, ideal for busy mornings. Plus the decor is really beautiful! To try it is to adopt it!

Very good cappuccino, almond croissant too, the problem is the breakfast croissant with eggs; even if you take it on the spot, it is in a paper bag; the 2 eggs in the croissant are poached...how do I eat if I dont have a plate, result: its leaking everywhere...not very good!

Friendly and very good people

Delicious and very well made latte. The coffee cups are very pretty too! The place is quite tight to stay to study, but to chat with friends or meet new people, it can be done very well! The parking lot is also narrow. Its still a great place, its worth returning frequently :)

I had a lentil salad and fresh press juice. Very good. The restaurant was packed even though it was almost 2 pm. Nice ambiance.

Actually, I had the food to eat at home. So cant comment on the atmosphere. However omg delicious food, we had a range of main courses. A delicious soup to start, veal, beef, chicken main dishes, and 3 fresh wonderful salads. Everything was extremely tasty and had warming instructions.

Everything is perfect. Every time we go! The pastries are delicious (try the pistachio chocolatines ) and what about the traditional ham and butter?!?!! The couscous salad with grilled vegetables and feta is simply exquisite. Quality ingredients, great staff! Only good words for this establishment!

Every time I pass by the area, I enjoy a good latte from Chez Cheval! Try the chocolate and pistachio croissant: it s incredibly good! Otherwise, there are beautiful little local products that you can also get! Perfect for a little host gift! Long live this cafe!

Everything is very good but for the prices it is too expensive in my opinion. We may encourage the principle... For example, poké bowls; $23 when even better options at $16.95 are available in Asian restaurants. But I repeat, very good apart from the $$

Small bug with orders (ordered the same chai tea twice, received 2 different things). It s not too disturbing because it allowed us to taste 2 different drinks!! On the other hand, we had to argue that we hadnt had our muffin... rather ordinary in front of around fifteen customers.

First experience at the café at Cheval, in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, lunch with a very good, very hearty sandwich and a good café au lait. Great teleworking experience, the internet was reliable, the café offers a lot of choice of menus also to take away, the internet is reliable and fast, in short a nice atmosphere.

Coffee served cold, muffin undercooked and hot chocolate good but too thick, it looked like fondue.

Great staff and really good products. Its been a blast popping in there and and just staying in for a while, waiting for the Strom spa to open, a while ago, when it was still possible to stay indoors. The take out is great as well, and the food is sooooo nice!! I really recommend getting breakfast in there :)

We came from Quebec on purpose and it s worth the detour! Great service :) The buttered ham was excellent and I cant wait to eat the Bolognese pasta I bought. Looking forward to coming back :)

I dont understand why you cant have your pastry reheated when the kitchen is open. Ive never met a place, and Ive been to many, where you cant get a reheated muffin. Also, even if you eat inside, we give you the muffin in a bag and the coffee in a cup to take away. We are not asked if it is to bring or not. For the environment, where is their contribution? Also, no menu to see prices. For all these reasons, I will not return there.

I appreciate what they are doing for the integration of autistic people. On the other hand, I didnt like the food. I had heard a lot about this place and it was not what I expected.

Although the mission of promoting autism and encouraging inclusion is noble, I am extremely disappointed that there is only single-use packaging (not even a cup for drinking coffee on site: a cup of cardboard and disposable plastic cover, plastic bag, plastic cup). I have been confirmed today that it is not their intention to put back dishes and that this is not a temporary covid measure. Deplorable: its 2022. Im sad, but I wont come back on principle.

Until today we had always had a good experience, but today, out of 3 different cafes, all 3 were not great, and no vegetarian options in a cafe in 2022... In response to your answer, maybe next time instead of just telling me that there is no vegetarian sandwich, your employee could offer me all the great options that you just described...???

Disappointed...I expected much better! The quinoa salad in the bin, the average chicken croissant and the more than average potted dessert. The places to eat inside are very basic and very packed. The takeaway meals didn t tempt me. On the other hand, the staff is pleasant. I forgot about the tables outside Ouff! In the parking lot.
